I noticed a discrepancy.
Akari's clones can't use the Kiri-Woka for nearly as long as I assumed. At 5 Chakra per second...it adds up fast, becoming 432,000 Chakra per day! So Akari is going to work on a fix for that.
Chapter 18
Folding her arms over, Akari watched Dumbledore's reaction carefully.
There was no point hiding what had just occurred, Quirrell would doubtlessly tell the Headmaster, so she pre-empted him by telling the man herself, that way it couldn't be misconstrued. They removed the Boggart, since it wasn't exactly logical to keep it on her arm, though it didn't seem happy being removed from Akari's arm. While she wanted to figure out more, she had no idea how it was going to act, especially around the students, and so with Akari's ability to actually touch and move the Boggart they contained it inside of a large transfigured fish-tank.
When it was fully detached from her arm and contained, it did bounce between several miniature forms before settling again as a formless black ooze, twitching occasionally. "I've got no idea about this Akari, Boggarts have never been observed doing such a thing. Is your Shadow Hand alright?" Akari rolled her right arm backwards and forwards, making sure it still worked just fine.
"Yeah, it's good. A little bit drained, but nothing I can't easily top up." The old wizard nodded, sitting down at his desk and offering her a lemon drop, which she took and nibbled while waiting for the man to ask her questions, which he did so. They were mostly simple, like what actually happened, who was there, why she did what she did, stuff like that.
Akari did make mention of the odd Dark-Magic-esque stuff that she saw dribbling out of Quirrell's turban, though Dumbledore assured her that it was nothing to worry about and that she shouldn't 'waste her time investigating nothing', immediately making her suspicious. She couldn't put her finger on it, but the way he said it just made her feel like she was being talked down to, and that information she would like to know was being withheld. Since it had a similar feeling to the magic seeping out of Toki's scar as well as the two Deathly Hallows she'd seen, it made her incredibly suspicious of Quirrell in one singular move.
She didn't give any indication that she was suspicious, but the instant she was out of Dumbledore's office, she dumped about 500,000 Chakra Points into a Shadow Clone who immediately disappeared into the Kiri-Woka no Jutsu and went off to go trail after Quirrell everywhere he went, which was enough to last the clone for an entire day even permanently invisible.
While that happened, Akari went to go hang out with the Thestrals again. But she wasn't just going to say hi, give them a hug or a brush or whatever. No, she wanted company for a while because she'd finally decided enough was enough. Arguably her most useful Jutsu, the Kiri-Woka no Jutsu, cost her 5 Chakra Points per second. That meant 300 per minute, then 18,000 per hour, with each day draining 432,000 Chakra Points.
That was just not acceptable, since it meant that while she could use her Kiri-Woka permanently without issue, her Shadow Clones could only maintain it for at absolute most 4 days before running out of Chakra and dispersing. But the problem was just how she could get around this issue, then it hit her in the face.
Seals. If she could have a Chakra-transfer seal which worked across any distance, perhaps by using the same method the Hiraishin utilized but just sending Chakra instead of a person, she could fuel up to around 400 Shadow Clones, all of whom could be invisible. Cut that down to half for seal inefficiency as well as fuelling the transfer process itself and she could still maintain over 200 invisible clones. If she then made it an idle seal, one she just attached to herself somewhere, she wouldn't even have to think about it.
Perhaps even making a secondary Hiraishin so if a clone was dispersed the tag would automatically come back to Akari so she wouldn't lose them...that could work.
She was still working on her seals and occasionally taking breaks for food or to just give the Thestrals some attention when her next class of students wandered over.
Since traversing the Forbidden Forest wasn't the best way for students to reach her lessons, she instead opted for having them in a clearing near Hagrid's Hut and merely bringing the creatures they were studying to the area. Plus, with Hagrid being so close-by, if she wanted his help for something he was available, as well as right happy to be called upon for helping with animals, as much an animal lover as she if not more so.
This time it was Third Year students, and this group had none who could see the Thestrals, but they still felt their presence, several students spending the entire lesson idly petting the Thestrals. The lesson was pretty much the same as the one for the Fourth Years, as it would be the same for the other three years she had to teach. What was interesting to note was that thanks to the fact that the class was an elective, she could teach all four houses at the same time, since only around half the entire year selected CMC as one of their electives, meaning she had the same amount as she had to teach DADA to.
She also kept working on her seals while she taught the class, several of whom asked her if it was Ancient Runes or something, even though it was blatantly obvious that what she was drawing in no way represented runes, but since this was the first year of electives, maybe they didn't know that yet, if they were even taking that class as an elective. When asked what it was, she merely shook her head and told them it was private, and while obviously they wanted to know more, unless they somehow hunted Tachiko down in Africa, there was literally no way for them to learn about Fuinjutsu.
By the end of the lesson she had already gotten a rudimentary transferal seal to test, partnered with a master seal she would be able to keep pretty much anywhere on her body. The master seal worked off the siphoning seal she had made a while ago, then sent it through a Hiraishin array to the receiver seal which would then immediately push the Chakra into the clone. It was set to drain six Chakra per second from Akari, enough to fuel the Kiri-Woka no Jutsu whilst also permanently fuelling the Shadow Clone. With that amount, then being doubled by the cost for transferring the Chakra through a Hiraishin array, she could still afford to permanently keep roughly 170 Shadow Clones fuelled for eternity whilst also keeping them invisible.
After dismissing her students, Akari created four Shadow Clones who each worked on creating receiver seals, whilst a fifth appeared and got the seal placed inconspicuously behind her ear, the seal-tag having been enlarged with an engorgement charm then shrunk back to its normal size when the Fuinjutsu had been written on it, meaning it was the size of the toenail on her baby toe.
With that, Akari placed the Master Seal, which was bigger than the receiver seal, on her clavicle just above her breasts, somewhere where if the seal got damaged meant she had bigger problems to worry about. She didn't quite have the space to place the seal behind her ear without having it sitting half on her hair, so she picked a position where nobody was ever going to see it, especially not under her Jonin Vest. Plus, having it on the Tenketsu close to her heart meant her Chakra had less distance to travel, not that she'd ever had a problem with overlapping streams of Chakra in her body.
She immediately felt the small drain of six Chakra a second being drawn out of her and transported away to the receiver, her clone reporting a thumbs up before disappearing into nothingness. After a minute, the clone re-appeared, which meant it worked, as the clone began with enough Chakra for only ten seconds of invisibility. Quickly glancing at her status, she nodded to herself as she saw her Energy bar being entirely unaffected by the drain, her 2000+ energy per second easily maintaining a single 6 Chakra per second drain.
The clone then used the Hiraishin her clone following Quirrell had placed down, picking it up and tossing it into her inventory whilst the other clone dispersed, telling Akari nothing useful. Akari made a few more clones, each set to be invisible and all of them roaming around on the ceilings of Hogwarts out of the way of everybody wandering the halls, slowly charging themselves with Chakra. Akari adjusted the seal so instead of sending six Chakra per second, it sent twenty. With twelve clones currently being fuelled, that meant she was being drained of 240 Energy per second, but each clone was now storing Chakra at an incredible rate, meaning if they had to use Jutsu, they had plenty of Chakra to fuel themselves.
Plus, if the Master Seal broke somehow, they wouldn't near-instantly burn out, they would have time to get away from wherever they were and break invisibility to learn what the hell happened. The longer a clone was left active and a seal attached to the Master Seal, the longer they would be able to last if they lost the connection to the seal. For example, after one whole year of existence tied to the seal, her clone would be able to last another three without the seal, whilst under the Kiri-Woka no Jutsu permanently. She could even increase that, making the seal drain something more like fifty Chakra per clone, then maintain twenty clones whilst still keeping 1000 points of regeneration, which would mean an extra nine years of invisible existence after only a year, but for right now twenty Chakra per second per clone was plenty.
With that done, Akari set a few clones to brainstorm ideas for improving the seal, though not expecting much difference to be found, before standing up and stretching out with a yawn. Lunchtime was next, followed by a Fifth Year double-class, two hours straight, which meant just Thestrals wouldn't cover it all. She pondered what animal to teach them about, especially since she vaguely recalled that the Curriculum Kettleburn was using had already taught them about Thestrals, before finally deciding on a sufficient animal, one she could get ahold of before the lesson began.
If they freaked out about it, well, all the more amusing.
In hindsight, maybe a Chimaera was a bit advanced, even for a Fifth Year class.
It wasn't like they were in any danger, Akari had subtly placed a few Fuinjutsu tags in the Chimaera's fur which she could activate at will to paralyze the beast. But of course, they didn't know that. All her class knew as they showed up was that Akari was leaning against a sleeping Chimaera and spent the first minute or so distractedly writing Fuinjutsu notes down in a notebook for later use.
After all, while she could write pretty much any seal, she still had to come up with the original idea for the seal. Paralysis tags were easy, they basically froze certain electrical signals, allowing ones like continued respiration, heart beating and other essential functions, but didn't allow the tagged target to move their limbs or do anything really. Making one which worked on a Chimaera was equally easy, since while resistant to magic, the Chimaera wasn't resistant to Chakra.
Thus, the lesson was rather tense, her students all reasonably wary of the Chimaera, even though the beast was by this point pretty happy to not attack people who didn't attack her, since Akari fed the big beast more than enough meat. The way she acquired the meat was a bit dubious, as she harvested a normal deer carcass, then used her Naraka Path to perfectly repair the carcass, before harvesting it again, effectively generating infinite meat, since when placed inside of her inventory, it wasn't deleted by the Naraka Path regenerating the carcass.
Maybe it was wrong in a few ways to repeatedly butcher a carcass for meat, but buying enough meat to feed a Chimaera would cost quite a bit of money considering just how much meat a Chimaera could eat. Plus it also meant she didn't have to constantly request meat from Hagrid. So in the end, a single deer corpse being repeatedly harvested for meat was far better than having to butcher thousands of deer per year to feed the animals. Plus, it didn't seem to have any detrimental effect, the Thestrals and the Chimaera seemed to like it just the same as ever, and with the fact that, unlike transfigured meat, her meat would stay around forever, it was effectively as good as any other deer meat.
Since they all already knew about the Thestrals, she only had to introduce the fact that the Thestrals were going to be present up until Christmas to acclimatize them to Akari, before moving on to teaching them about the Chimaera she was leaning against. A few of the students asked to pet her, but Akari didn't trust that the Chimaera wouldn't have a dangerous response if she was surprised by being touched by anyone other than Akari, so she was forced to deny those requests.
While she was docile currently, that was probably due to the fact that none of the students had gotten too close, that Akari was occasionally brushing a hand over her fur, but also the fact that she was still asleep. Perhaps sometime in the next year when she was more sure that the Chimaera wouldn't hurt any of the students she would be able to bring her back and let the students pet her, but for right now, she was best used as a visual aid.
Since she had meat to nibble on when she woke up, the Chimaera seemed happy enough about being able to just laze about for two hours doing nothing but sleeping and eating.
Akari hadn't actually had a chance to talk to Toki since the troll incident.
With Minerva sending the three cubs off before she could say much more to them, as well as the fact that she was just now starting her new role, she didn't have the time to catch him. It was also partially that he seemed to be trying to avoid her, even if that was physically impossible with an invisible Shadow Clone tailing him everywhere, which made her less willing to just teleport to him out of nowhere to say...what?
Aside from maybe telling him she was both proud and pissed off at what he did, she really didn't have much to say to him. Maybe he was annoyed at her because she was in Hogwarts again the same year he was there? But that was just because it seemed like a good idea really, not because she absolutely had to be able to contact him or monitor his progress in school.
But then, one day during the week, her Shadow Clone actually dispersed while tailing him, simultaneously sending the receiver tag back to Akari whilst also informing her of what he and his friends Ronald and Hermione were suspicious of, that Snape was trying to steal a Philosophers Stone from Hogwarts, and was blackmailing Quirrell or something, which somehow also tied into the injury Snape had?
Snape had been bitten during Halloween by Fluffy, sure, but how that meant he was blackmailing Quirrell or was intending to steal a Philosopher's Stone Akari had no idea, it seemed a rather large leap in logic. Then again, maybe she was seeing things from the wrong perspective. Akari made a new Shadow Clone and attached the receiver seal to it, sending it to go follow Snape while she made another clone, applied the same seal and had it resume the role of following Toki around.
She then made a third and repeated the process, ordering it to find Quirrell then swap places with the original clone and have it disperse, that way she could learn what he'd been up to recently. Evidently, from the fact her clone hadn't dispersed, nothing important had happened, but maybe there would be some hints her clone hadn't noticed. When the clone did disperse, it had some rather surprising information for her, which it had performed just before her clone arrived, an annoying coincidence.
Quirinus Quirrell - Level 83 - The Host of the Dark Lord
Just from that, she inferred that said Dark Lord was probably exactly who she assumed it was. As Dumbledore both seemed amicable to his presence and actually seemed to want to divert Akari away from investigating him made her scepticism of the old man only increase. After all, why would he willingly let someone who one of his staff suspected of being afflicted of some manner of Dark Magic remain without being treated or even investigated?
It just screamed of a trap, and Akari was not going to let anyone she cared about be the cheese.
Whilst outwardly Akari hadn't done anything different, unbeknownst to all the inhabitants, Hogwarts currently was being scouted by fifty invisible Shadow Clones.
Since she didn't yet know exactly what was going on and she needed to keep an eye out for pretty much anything, well, having fifty extra pairs of eyes to keep watch over the school certainly helped. A pair of clones were hiding in the Third Floor corridor, which apparently Toki and his friends believed the stone to be hidden within, then there was a clone in the Great Hall, each of the major classrooms, pretty much everywhere necessary in the school to keep an eye out.
Some might call it an invasion of privacy having invisible clones wandering around the school, but if Toki was at risk of some kind of plot, she didn't care what kind of morals she had to break to keep him safe. Plus it'd be convenient to be able to immediately respond to emergencies if her clones came across them, since she could Hiriashin to her clones at any time, nice and convenient.
A few weeks passed in which Akari taught her classes about various magical creatures, using Henges on Shadow Clones for where she couldn't produce one of them herself, like a Nundu, and before long, Christmas had arrived. Toki still wasn't happy with her for reprimanding him in front of his friends, so in a typical childish fashion he tried to ignore her all the way through Christmas.
When she tried to get him to actually pay attention, he pulled out the 'we're not actually related' card, yelled that his name was Harry, not Toki, then demanded she leave him alone before storming off. Akari knew it was him still being irrational, illogical and bratty, but that didn't mean it didn't hurt to hear those words. Naruto never said words like that, not even when she brought his parents back to repair his family. Her suggestion that they visit Konoha for Christmas died on her lips in that moment.
And hey, maybe it would be best if she let him grow into his own person. She had, after all, pretty much forced her way into a parental role with him, despite not having any kind of reasonable attachment like with Naruto. That didn't mean she was going to completely abandon him, if he wanted to come back to her and apologize, she'd accept it, but...she was drawing a little on her last world, though not a typical Konoha philosophy, with her idea of letting him see how far he could go by himself but Akari would still be there if he fell too far.
Maybe the realization that Akari just wanted to help him would solve this issue.
"Don't try to avoid this again, Dumbledore."
Letting Kurama's Chakra flow to deepen her voice, Akari glared down the old wizard in front of her. She had come and asked him directly exactly what the hell was going on with Quirrell. The man had tried to deflect her requests, moving onto other things, until finally her annoyance boiled over into anger at being tugged around like she was an idiot. "I swear to Kami herself that if you avoid this 'request' one more time, I'll give Lucius all the openings he needs to get you out of your position in this school, don't think I won't."
"Akari my dear, even you don't possess enough information to ever make that a reality." The man's eyes were still twinkling in mirth as he stared implacable at her. "And I assure you that Quirinus is harmless." Akari growled lowly, noting the Elder Wand that Dumbledore dropped out of his wand holster into palm.
With a blast of Chakra, she slammed his table forwards, using it as cover as she sprinted forwards, raising an arm to ward her way through the shards of wood the table made when the man fired a Bombarda to blast it back at her. She slid under a quick Banishing Charm then slammed the hell of her boot against his knee, cracking it back harshly. Maybe in his prime Dumbledore would have been able to follow her movements to a degree...if she was holding back.
But she was fucking furious at being mislead, deceived and straight-up lied to, so she wasn't holding her speed back at all. And with Dumbledore being an old man, his reflexes simply couldn't keep up with her, even at a low speed. She followed up her knee-breaker by slamming the hell of her foot into the ground, propelling herself up and cracking Dumbledore on the jaw with her knee as he had begun to bend forwards from the pain in his forcibly-reversed knee.
As his head cracked back, Akari noted that he'd entirely lost his grip-strength, letting the Elder Wand slip out of his fingers. She snatched it and tossed it into her inventory for later before returning focus onto Dumbledore, watching the man fall backwards towards the floor, his eyes rolling up into his head. Maybe she'd hit him a bit hard, but at least she was still holding her strength back, or his brains would have been decorating the ceiling as her knee would have torn his spine apart as easy as a knife parting a boiled noodle...or something to that effect.
Akari grabbed his shoulder to stop his comparatively-slow descent, using her Mystical Palm to fix the damage she'd caused. Disarming him was her goal, and with the Elder Wand in her inventory, that was a success. Fawkes was also in the room, but he was merely watching, probably having judged that Dumbledore's actions weren't worth defending. He'd squawked when she knee'd him, but since from the time she did that to the time she was healing him was easily less than a second by regular perception, the Phoenix did nothing to aid his master as she brought him back from unconsciousness.
Before he could gather his bearings Akari had summoned the Naraka Path behind herself, holding Dumbledore by the throat. "Listen the fuck up, old man. That is one of my abilities, and if you lie or refuse to answer questions in front of it, it will kill you. Right now I have just about had enough of this fucking bullshit, so I'm going to ask you two very fucking simple questions. Refuse to answer either of them or lie to me, and my technique will know, and it will rip your life energy from your body, killing you. Now then, this is my first question. Do. You. Understand?" She growled out with Kurama's help, inwardly enjoying the clear worry on Dumbledore's face.
"I do." He eventually muttered, to which Akari let go of his throat, though she kept a wary eye in case he tried anything stupid. "Is this really necessary? I already know I'd have to answer you to have a hope to escape this room." She rolled her eyes.
"Yes, because if you lie to me, you die, it's as simple as that, so I wouldn't fucking test me right now. Even Fawkes would die if he somehow lied to the Naraka Path, because it literally rips out life energy, not something a Phoenix could survive. It stands to reason I could probably kill Boggarts and other things by having him devour their very existence. Second question. What the hell is up with Quirrell? And I want the full fucking explanation, don't make me ask twenty questions to find out everything I need to know."
With a sigh, Dumbledore gestured towards his chair, to which Akari took her own wand and cast a Reparo, fixing the damage caused by the scuffle. He sat down with a groan, rubbing his chin. "Well, I suppose for the 'full fucking explanation'-" Akari snorted at his use of a curse, it was, admittedly, pretty funny hearing it from his lips. "-I'll have to start all the way back in 1943, with a young girl named Myrtle Warren, and a boy named Tom Marvolo Riddle, better known as Lord Voldemort. For the sake of brevity I shall not go into detail, but suffice to say that Myrtle was murdered by Tom, and the act was used to create-"
"-A Horcrux, I know." She cut in, surprising Dumbledore. "Oh come off it, you know I talk to Lucius Malfoy, i.e. one of the highest Death Eaters in Voldemort's circle. He already suspected it, but by pointing out the magic in Toki...in Harry's scar I confirmed that fact. Besides, that's not what I asked. I want to know what, currently, is up with Quirrell, because I need to know whether I need to be getting into contact with him to ward him off from attacking Harry, since it's presumed that his scar also contains a Horcrux."
Groan, Dumbledore palmed his face, peering at her between his fingers. "Alright. Quirinus is a puppet of Voldemort, and is looking for the Philosopher's Stone which Nicholas Flamel entrusted to me for protection, so he can make the Elixir of Life and bring his master back from his disembodied state. I honestly do not know why there is Dark Magic leaking from his turban, but I can make assumptions, though I don't know if you'd like to hear them." Akari waved him off, shaking her head.
"So you willingly let someone working for Voldemort into your school...why the fuck did you do that? I know this is an extra question, but I don't exactly have a limit to using this ability, so I can ask you everything." She narrowed her eyes when Dumbledore merely raised an eyebrow. "Answer, or get your life-force ripped out through your throat."
"There is...a prophecy regarding Harry. The basic idea for the prophecy is that a boy will be marked Voldemort's equal, and certain circumstances made it so that Harry is that boy. He is the only one able to defeat Voldemort in the end." She tapped her foot and waited, but when the Naraka Path did nothing she clenched a fist. Fortunately for Dumbledore he began elaborating without more prompting, even if his words weren't the wisest, though they had to be honest. "I allowed Quirinus into the school as it would begin inciting conflict between Voldemort and the Boy-Who-Lived, with my hand guiding him in his fight with the Dark Lord until he emerged trium-ack!"
Akari smirked, watching the man as he choked, the Naraka Path making noises and growling as it tugged at the fleshy, tongue-like life-force being drawn out of Dumbledore. "That last part was a lie then...you never intended him to emerge victorious from the fight. But then, what was the point, maybe they kill each other in the end and leave a vacuum for you, the last and most powerful wizard to step in and fill it, your guiding hand on the rudder?" As she mused, she watched Dumbledore struggle against the inescapable pull of the Naraka Path, only cancelling her Rinnegan technique when Fawkes flapped onto her shoulder and warbled at her. "Alright then, just for you."
She brushed the Phoenix gently a few times while Dumbledore gathered himself. "The-" He coughed a few times. -point, Miss Uchiha, is that the Wizarding World will be safe from Voldemort, at any cost. Voldemort will return, and when he does, young Harry must be ready to fight him." Akari stared at the man for a few seconds before bursting out laughing, supporting herself with her hands on knees as she laughed at his stupidity, Fawkes flying back to his perch as she leaned over.
"Y-you really believe that? That a student could beat a Dark Lord with decades of experience?" Akari shook her head. "Harry has potential, I'll give you that, but not prodigy-level potential. How about this, you leave worrying about the Dark Lord to me, and instead, you worry about making sure this school stays just that, a school, not a training camp for a boy to fight a Dark Lord." When he opened his mouth to protest, Akari let her eye spiral with the Rinnegan, making him back down again. Akari walked to the stairs leading out of the room, turning her head back to say one final sentence to Dumbledore.
"I can literally tear your soul out, Dumbledore...what makes you think I can't do the same to Voldemort?"
"So then he says...he says that 'young Harry must be ready to fight him.', completely seriously!"
Akari slumped back into her chair fighting off laughter, Narcissa covering her mouth as she let her amusement out. On the Saturday with nothing better to do Akari had called for Dobby and asked him to go ask Narcissa if she was up for a chat as she had an amusing story to tell the Malfoy Matriarch, to which Dobby popped back not a minute later asking if 'Mistress Akari' was ready to go immediately. "He truly believes that? That old fool."
"I know!" She exclaimed, leaning forwards. "He seriously thinks that Toki has to..." Sighing, Akari rested her chin on her hand. "Whatever. So now he thinks if and when Voldemort shows up I'll be 'dealing' with him. All I actually told him was I'd be the one worrying about him, but since I'm not too worried about what's going to happen, well, jokes on him I guess."
Narcissa chuckled softly before adopting a more serious expression. "You should be careful though, Dumbledore didn't get to where he is by being foolish, he has a keen mind beneath that facade of geniality, backed up by practically unmatchable magical strength." She scoffed at that. Maybe in his prime, but as he now was, Akari reckoned that the Mad-Eye guy who attacked her would probably best him in a fight, since Dumbledore seemed the type unwilling to go for the kill, whereas Mad-Eye had earnestly tried to kill her when it became clear capture wasn't an option, something she admired.
"Oh, that reminds me, I have to tell Lucius to cuff Draco at some point, the boy seems to revel in antagonizing people for no real reason, yelling that 'his father will hear of this' every time something goes wrong. While I can understand raising him to believe himself better than others, even if not something I agree with, needlessly allowing him to antagonize potential allies is incredibly foolish. He seems hellbent on antagonizing Harry for some reason, not that the bloody boy will tell me why." Akari was surprised when Narcissa reached over and actually patted her hand, a thin smile on her lips.
"He's growing up. From the fact you're now calling him Harry and not Toki, I'm guessing he told you something unpleasant?" Sighing, Akari nodded her agreement. "Well, it is his choice, and trying to force him to stop would probably end up pushing him further, so perhaps allowing him his little rebellion would be best so he can understand how much you actually protect him from. Maybe get...what was that owl called again, Huey? Whatever the name was, have it stop filtering out all the mail he isn't ready for, aside from the potentially dangerous ones. There are certainly ways to make him realize you really are just looking after him."
Humming, Akari considered it. Most of the mail sent to Harry arrived at the Owlery where Huey then took it to him, leaving behind the love-letters, the Ministry orders/requests/anything else for Akari to screen, as well as more than a few cursed letters which would cause harm or even death if opened by Harry. Those ones, of course, she would still keep away from him, some of them had begun being set to merely explode when they were opened, making them even more dangerous, but the rest? The ones that wouldn't cause lasting harm but required responses?
"Maybe you're right...thanks Narcissa. But...I don't think I'm entirely blameless. I did sort of just leave him behind when I and Tachiko were busy getting into fights, so maybe I'll hold off on that whole thing for now..." She shrugged, getting up from her chair. "Well, I'd better get a move on, I still need to get ahold of a Jarvey for the next lesson." The two of them shared their goodbyes before Akari disappeared in a flash, arriving at the Leaky Cauldron in a flash, waving at Tom as she left the back area of his bar.
"Hey there Tom, see ya around."
Ooh, a bit of drama.
Toki, or rather Harry as he's now dubbed himself again, is splitting away from Akari, branching out. What's the cause of this? Is it merely young rebellion, or is somebody, perhaps even accidentally, pushing a wedge between Akari and Harry?
She has finally decided to just use force to get answers from Dumbledore, and she doesn't like what his words imply. Before you ask how she can retain her position, Dumbledore knows about her Truth from Lies ability now, which means he doesn't know whether she actually has enough blackmail for Lucius to use to get him removed from his position. The man is a master of politics, he could probably work a speck of dirt up into a boulder given enough time and money.
I hope you enjoyed, please do tell me what you think of the story, I love to know what you like, what you don't like, and your questioning about what I'm building up to...and the answer for that? I have no idea either! But I'm sure it'll be fun either way!
(Akari's status won't be updated until the end of the first school year when her clones have finished the final grind, so I won't bother posting it this time)
