Just as they had got the hidden passage shut ten mutants burst into the room from the windows and door. "Well looks like the party is starting now." Leo called with a smirk running at the first mutant to come near him. Mikey let out a battle cry jumping into the middle of them. Raph roared slamming his fist into one of them sending them into the far wall with a loud crash. Donnie grinned using his mallet to take out a few of them finding himself back to back with Repo who was slicing through the ones running at him. " Looks like there's more coming in." Repo called over his shoulder as he cut one off at the knees.
"Seems they really want to take her." Don snapped back with a growl throwing a couple off his mallet. Suddenly in the middle of the room there was an explosion of bodies, they flew up falling to the floor like rain. The guys turned to find Master Splinter standing proudly knocking one of them in head with his staff. "Way to go, pop." Raph cheered smashing a couple of their heads together. Before they knew it they had knocked them all out. Don smiled and speed dialed her only for it to go to voicemail. "I can't get her. I'll go in through the window." He growled dashing up the stairs to the window they had used earlier. Hovering up to the window finding it to be quiet too quiet.
Hovering down he noticed five unconscious mutants laying around the room and the room itself trashed. Finding one of the computer screens on with an encrypted code on it. He quickly decipher it with a broad smirk. Hovering back up and into the mansion he walked down to the rest of the group. "They knew about the hidden tower out back. From the looks of it she put up one hell of a fight. The good news is she whooped up on all of them and their hidden in the woods behind the place. The bad news is there's another wave coming if these don't report back within the hour." He explained calmly glancing down at his wrist band.
"Let's go get them and get out of here before any of these wake up or the others get here." Mikey said with a slight whine looking around nervously. With that being said they headed outside to find the girls waiting for them. "Let's go. While we're going we can look over the files." Don said wrapping an arm around her helping her into the tank noticing a few pretty good cuts on her right arm and shoulder. Raph picked up April she was looking tired from all the excitement. "Ok just follow me." Repo called jumping into his tow truck starting it. Raph sat April down in one of the seats and buckled her in. "Hey Mikey, sit by April so she doesn't fall out or something." He called getting in the drivers seat starting the tank.
"I was looking through earlier and they really are sick. From what I read you are supposed to be the first true super mutant that was supposed to be used to destroy all mutant within the city before killing yourself but they made a fatal flaw when they made you. Your mother was human which means she gave you human emotions even if you were implanted. This is why your "father" lied to you by making Draxum out to be the bad guy. I mean he still is a bad guy, but he doesn't want to destroy all mutants. From what I can tell you don't have to sacrifice yourself just a piece of you." Don explained still staring at his screen still trying to wrap his head around it.
Annova pulled out her files looking through them until she found the page she had seen earlier reading over it quickly. "You're right. Donnie you're so right." She squeaked excitedly wrapping her arms around his neck kissing him on cheek. That made a smile grow on his face taking the place of his serious expression. "See if you can find something on where you have put a piece of you." Master Splinter called from the passenger seat. Quickly they set to work looking for the location. "This doesn't look good they tried to recreate their finds on me, but failed multiple times. I was at least right on my dragon and cat type. Hm maybe there's something on my abilities as well in here. I would be nice to know what I'm actually capable of." Annova said mainly to herself as she shuffled through the pages studying them in detail.
"Oh, here it is. This will help me understand what I can do and what powers I have." She whispered studying the page quickly before continuing to search through the other pages. It wasn't long before a map of the under city came into her view. Looking over it she cringed knowing exactly where it was. "This is not good. It's in the heart of the under city. Not only is that place crawling with Draxum's minions, but the resistance too. We're going to have to plan this out very carefully." Annova said loud enough for everyone to hear. Holding up the paper with a shaky hand fear written all over her face. "Great, we're going to have to fight through all of them just to get there." Leo grumbled flopping back in hos seat dramatically.
"Think we could disguise ourselves to get down there?" Mikey asked trying not to move since April had laid her head on his shoulder. "Hey that's a great idea, Mikey. Don we should start working on that. It could be the perfect way in. You guys can't go as yourselves they'll be looking for you." Annova chimed excitedly clapping her hands together. "We must be careful of the disguises we choose they'll be looking for something like that." Master Splinter warned with a serious edge to his voice. "Your right, pops. We'll have to be careful on this." Don agreed already pulling up his screen to get to work. Annova settled in next to him pulling a larger screen for them to work on together.
Don looked through the various tech that could be used for the transforming part of it, while Annova worked through the different types of mutants that would go unnoticed in the under city also working out the spell she had used on Don and how to link it to the devices Don was going to be fabricating for them. It wasn't long before Don had at least worked out all the devices for each one of them. For Raph fingerless spike knuckled gloves w8th the switches on the side. For Leo he chose his nerd glasses with the switches on the ear pieces. He decided on a scarf for Mikey with the switches on two of the corners. April's was a bracelet with switches hidden in two of the beads and Master Splinter's was a belt with the switches hidden on the top and bottom.
He thoughtfully found Repo a leather wrist band with studs in it two being used as the switches. Je glanced over at Annova wondering what he could use for hers without her knowing. Finally, it came to him in the form of a choker with three metal hearts on it with metal studs in between them. He quickly minimized it with a satisfied smile. Annova glanced over at him with a smile of her own. "We're going to need human disguises too. Just in case we need to go topside in a hurry." She said quietly sliding over, so she was leaning against him. He sighed realizing she was right, but decided he could fix that when they got to the new hideout. It wasn't too long before everyone was asleep in the tank except for Raph. Another hour or so and they finally reached their destination.
A brawl, a new hideout, a partial sacrifice, and new disguises. Wow this should be interesting. ~L~
