Chapter 15
Forks High School
Forks, Washington
February 2034
"It's just odd, don't you think?" Jacob asked the group. "First, both my grandfather and my dad, then Tyler's, then Eric's. Don't you think that's a little suspicious?"
Tyler and Eric nodded their heads in agreement. They all turned to look at their other companions. But it seemed that, once again, they weren't paying any attention. Jasper was straddling the cafeteria bench and Alice had her legs draped over Jasper's legs. Jasper was currently playing with a lock of her hair.
"God you two are sickening sometimes—you know that?" Jacob snickered.
"Correction, Jacob." They heard from behind them. "This bitch is always sickening. Sickening to look at."
Slowly, as if one, Alice and Jasper turned toward the nasally voiced person behind them.
"What the fuck did you just say?" Jasper demanded.
"Hush, honey. It's okay. I'm sure Tanya is still having vision problems due to her broken eye socket. It would be a real shame if she tripped in the gym locker room and busted the other one. Isn't that right, Tanya?" Alice glared at the girl who paled and ran off quickly to join her friends. Alice's laughter trailing behind her.
Alice sighed, rubbing her nose against Jasper's, kissing him first on the lips, then on the cheek, before whispering, "Her whole family including her, yeah?"
Jasper kissed her hard as the bell rang. "Oh, fuck yes. But that bitch is mine this time."
Alice clapped her hands and giggled.
