Shisui Had Successfully Completed His Goal, But Such Repeated Successful Results Severely Drained His Chakra, and Dramatically Slowed His Chakra Regeneration, A Troubling Notion, Since Next To No One Had His Chakra Levels and Regen Speed. He Found His Cursed Marks Feeding Off Of His Hate and Grief From The Massacre, But Shisui Channeled That Hate Into Focus and Strength. His Hands Wouldn't Stop Shaking Though, and Shisui Wasn't Sure If They Ever Would. Shisui Chose To Instead Focus On Shurikenjutsu, Kenjutsu, and Chakra Flow, Since Each Seemed A Bit Off and Out Of Practice Somehow. Shisui Knew That As An Uchiha, Lightning-Style and Fire-Style Suited Him Perfectly, and So To Did Kenjutsu and Shurikenjutsu. Shisui Could Alter and Switch Trajectory At A Barest Of Moments, Or Suddenly Channel Chakra Into Them. Shisui Was Attuned To All Basic Chakra Natures and Their Corresponding Kekkei Genkai, So It Was A Simple Matter To Apply Them To His Ninja Tools.
A Favorite Of His Was Using Lightning-Style To Enhance His Sword's Cutting Power, Or Focusing That Chakra Into The Tips Of His Senbon Needles Or Kunai To Maximise Their Penetration. Having Early On Developed A Skill For Chakra Thread Manipulation, Shisui Could Manipulate Senbon and Kunai By Using Such Threads Like A Multi-Tendril Whip. Being A Master Puppeteer Who Had Studied Beneath Granny Chiyo Didn't Hurt Either. But Shisui Had Another Desire, Using Wind and Fire-Style On Multiple Shuriken, His Wind Chakra Would Enhance The Fire-Style, While The Fire Itself Spread On The Shuriken's Edges, Making The Most Of Wind's Superior Cutting Power and Fire's Heat, Shisui Would've Just Used Scorch-Style, But It Was Much More Of A Challenge If Shisui Tried This Without Using His Kekkei Genkai, Something Shisui Enjoyed Fully.
Kenjutsu Was Of Particular Talent and Skill With Shisui and He Favoured Senbon Needles Over Standard Kunai and Chakra Shuriken Over Standard Shuriken. The Metal Was Uniquely Designed To Absorb and More Effectively Utilize Chakra Flow, But Only The Core Of The Shuriken Had Such Metal. The Blades Had A Overlay Of The Metal To Make Chakra Absorption More Efficient. Shisui Wielded A Blade Of Unique Design, His Sword Was Less A Sword, and More A Thin Point Of Metal That Was More For Sewing Than Fighting, The Blade Was Extremely Difficult To Use, But Shisui Could Use It Well. Called Sewing Needle, It Was One Of The Three Seven Ninja Swordsmen Of Mist Blade's In Shisui's Possession. The Other's Were The Kiba and Kabutowari. Overall, Shisui Favored The Kiba, Because They Complemented His Lightning Style Perfectly. It Has Been Said That Lightning Style Was Used In The Fangs Creation, But Even Though They Were Said To Be The Sharpest Swords In Existence, Shisui New That Because Of Their Shape, They May Cut Greater Than Anything Else, They Won't Be As Perfectly Suited To Lightning-Style As The Sewing Needle Sword Is.
Lightning-Style Is Best Used Or More Precisely Channeled Into A Single Point. Shisui Exemplified This With His Senbon Style, Basically Needles, They Were Prime Material For Lack Of Better Word. Multiples Have and Could Be Given In This Argument. The Third Raikage Had A Legendary Spear That Couldn't Be Shielded Against, Most If Not All The Raikage's Were Noted Lightning-Style Users, The Third Raikage Is Arguably The Best Example, Since He Created The Legendary Hell Stab Technique. Hell Stab Had Three Parts, Each Drastically More Lethal If Struck By Than The One Before It. The Four Fingered Thrust Was Weakest, Because It Focused Lightning-Style Into Four Separate Points Simultaneously. The Three Fingered Thrust Was Middle Ground, But If He Switched To The One Fingered Thrust, You Were Basically and Irreparably Fucked. Other Examples Included Shisui's Father's Systematic Lightning Damnation, Or His Uncle Kakashi's Chidori Derivative.
Shisui Did However Realise He'd Need To Pull Out ALL The Last Resorts In His Playbook In Order To Beat Gaara. They Were Now In Different Sides, Shisui's Constant Victories Over The Boy Had Left Gaara Terrified Of Him, But He Didn't Know, Nor Did He Know If He Wanted To Know, If That Was Still The Case. Shisui Needed No Less Than Three New Ultimate Techniques. Playing Theses Over In His Head, Shisui Knew That As A Long-Range Fighter, Gaara Was Utterly Useless In Close-Range Taijutsu, Meaning The Eight Gates Technique Could Come In Useful. But That Said, Getting Close At All Or At Any Range Was Problematic. Shisui Needed A Means To Either Disable Or Slow Gaara's Sand Down Enough To Bypass It Utterly. Iron Sand and Gold Dust Were Heavier and Used By The Current and Previous Kazekage's To Defeat Shukaku. But Shisui Also Needed A Means To Discretely Mix It Into Gaara's Sand Without His Knowledge, Or The Shukaku's For That Matter. The Former Wasn't Too Difficult, The Latter Not So Much.
Shisui Needed A Means To Combat Gaara At Long, Mid, and Close-Range. Since Shisui Could Do All Three, and Gaara Knew That, He Would Need To Switch Things Up. Off The Top Of His Head He Knew Of At Least Three, Maybe Four Things That Would Or Could Be Successful To That End.
Shisui Sat In His Chair, As Sakura and Ino Fussed Over Him Tenten and Hinata Sat Opposite Him, Tenten Smiling Mischievously As She Was Clearly Enjoying The Situation He Was In.
