It was no secret that Percy Jackson liked to swim. He was on the swim team after all. Annabeth found him curious. They were only friends however.

She and her friends Piper and Hazel were passing by the pool when Annabeth saw Percy sitting at the bottom.

"Won't he drown?" Hazel asked. Piper nodded. Annabeth completely agreed with them.

They stood by the door watching. Two minutes later, Percy surfaced and grabbed a towel. Annabeth couldn't help but stare at his abs.

She didn't notice Percy walk out of the room and walk up to them. "Annabeth?" he asked, waving a hand in front of her face. "You there?"

Annabeth snapped out of her daydream. "You know my name?"

"Yeah. We've been best friends since we were twelve so yeah, I know your name." he said.

She blushed. "Right."

Piper and Hazel turned to them. "We have math, so we'll meet you guys after school." They walked away.

"Well is two have free period." Percy said. "Wanna go somewhere?"

Annabeth shook her head. "We should be studying for our history test next period."

Percy groaned. "Noooooooooooo!!!!!"

Annabeth smacked him. "Come on let's go to the library."

They walked to the library in silence. They found a table and sat down, pulling their books out.

"Beth, we should do something fun."

"This is fun."

"Like actually fun. Not studying."

"And you wonder why you don't get good grades."

Percy gasped, feigning hurt. "That was harsh."

"Not harsh. Just the truth." Annabeth said, not looking up from her textbook.

"Come on Beth. Let's just spend half the period doing something fun. Then we can study." Percy said.

She huffed. "Fine. Where to?"

Naturally they got fast food.

Annabeth sighed. "This was your idea of fun?"

Percy nodded. "Yes."

"Why here?"

"We're going somewhere else, I was just hungry." Percy said.

She gave a small smile, her heart beating fast as Percy grabbed her hand and led her to a park.

"We shouldn't be here. We should be at school."

"Who cares?"

"Me." Annabeth said, glaring at him.

Percy took a deep breath. It was now or never. He leaned in and kissed her on the lips.

"Percy? What-" Annabeth started, blushing.

"I like you. A lot. Like a lot a lot." he said nervously. "It's fine if you don't feel the same, I'll just-"

Annabeth stopped him with another kiss. "I like you too."

They leaned in for another kiss, a longer one this time.

After they stopped, Percy looked at her, smiling. "Still wanna go back to school?"

Annabeth shook her head. "I think I'm fine right here."

Percy smirked. "Great." They leaned in for another kiss.

Leo, Jason, and Frank watched in the distance.

"Ew gross!" Leo exclaimed. "Now there's more Piper and Jasons!"

Jason slapped him, turning red. "Shut up Leo!"

Frank looked at him. "You and Piper are worse."

"Really???"

"Yep."

"So I shouldn't be complaining then?"

"No."
