And here we are with another quick mini update! I actually feel guilty for making these chapters short, but I know you guys love these updates anyways and next chapter will be a long one and will take longer to develop so here's this chapter to keep you all entertained for the time being!

I'm actually surprised a few of you knew what Code: Realize was when I mentioned it last chapter, but I think it's awesome to because then that means that the series is somewhat popular here in the states. And if Im being honest, I even want to do a mini story with the series but I don't want to lose my focus with this story so those plans are just going to have to wait.

Sakura watches as Shu slept next to her in her bed. She brushes his soft blonde curls up, smiling as his forehead was exposed and placed a soft kiss on it. Sakura gets out of bed and stretches her arms. Moaning in delight as her bones crack.

She gets out of bed and grabs her school uniform, walking to the bathroom and takes a shower.

Sakura lets the cold water hit her skin as she washes herself and then gets ready for school once she steps out of the shower.

It's been two whole weeks since she last time she had seen the Mukami brothers. Although they've been attending school, Sakura was surprised that she didn't see Kou or Azusa in the classes she shared with them. Or saw Yuma's tall figure in the distance in the hallways or felt Ruki's presence near.

Although they made a truce with them, Sakura didn't think they would be the kind to avoid them in general.

"But I will only agree to this truce if you allow us to continue having interactions with Yui and Sakura. In and outside of school."

Why would Ruki still want to even talk to her? From what she knows, she really isn't that important to their Adam and Eve plan. If they're even continuing that.

Sakura knew she needed to ask Ruki so much questions about their past lives and what how he went from being a mere human to a vampire. She wasn't sure though if Ruki even knew who she really was. A part of her wanted to just keep the past in the past, but knowing that Ruki had lost his parents and didn't have any other family members, she really was the only person alive from his past life.

"I hate it when you think to much."

Sakura turns to see Shu resting against her bathroom wall, all dressed and ready for school.

"How long have you been standing there?" She asks, putting her hairbrush down.

"Just five minutes," he says and opens his eyes, staring at her reflection in the mirror. "What are you thinking about?"

Sakura shrugs. "Nothing important."

"You are an awful liar." Then he grins. "Thinking of me perhaps? Such a lewd girl."

She groans and opens the door, walking out. "That's none of your concern."

"Ahh so you were." Shu follows her and Sakura goes to put on her uniform's now in front of the large mirror in her room.

She looks at him, raising a brow. "You do realize we have a lot to talk about right?"

Shu nods. "Yes, but to troublesome."

"Shu!"

"No yelling."

"Please take this seriously!" Sakura pleases and her alarm goes off on her phone. She turns it off and tucks her phone in her school bag. "When we come back from school, we are going to have a serious talk between us no matter what."

Shu looks at him, grinning a little. "If we talk, then I want you to tell me what you've been up to."

Sakura was taken aback. "What do you mean?"

"Besides the fact you're looking for your father, I know you've been hiding something else from us." He says. "If we talk about our relationship, then we're also going to talk about your little scheme. Deal?"

Sakura gulps. Although Ayato exposed a few weeks ago as to why she went to London to visit the Vampire Hunting Association, there was more to the story.

"Fine!" She says and grabs her backpack. "We'll talk about this soon." She says and storms off, slamming the door closed.

Shu sighs, walking out of her room to go to school. "Women."

Yui was all dressed for school and just waited for everyone else on the staircase.

She kept looking at her cellphone in her hand, hoping she would get at least one message from any of the Mukami brothers. But none have bothered to send her a message or give her a call.

Deep down, Yui knew it was for the best to not get to attached to the Mukami brothers. But she has grown really fond of them and hoped they wouldn't disappear completely out of her life.

"Yui."

She looks up and sees Sakura by the main door to the entrance. "You ready to go?"

Yui nods and grabs her school bag, walking over to her and the two girls walk out of the house and go to the limo waiting for them. The others started coming out of the house until Laito came into the limo and they begin making their way towards their school.

No one talked or bothered to make conversation. Even Ayato hasn't bothered to bite her neck or make a comment towards her.

Everything just felt...off.

Arriving at the school, everyone went their separate ways.

Yui and Sakura went to their lockers, the two girls talking about the latest trend in fashion, when a letter came flying out of Yui's locker.

Yui raises a brow and picks it up, looking at the pink envelope. Sakura walks over and looks at it.

"Do you think it's a love letter?" Sakura asks and Yui opens it it.

Before she can even read it though, the letter is snatched out of her hands.

Ayato examines the letter in amusement, but Yui knew how annoyed he was. "What's this?" He reads it's over. "Wow It's a love confession!"

"Hey give it back!" Yui goes to Ayato to yank her letter away but Ayato holds it up. She was far more shorter then him, making it hard to reach it.

"Awww! Your eyes shine as diamond, your lips pink as a a tulip in the spring." Ayato reads out loud.

"Ayato, leave her alone!" Sakura shouts at her brother but Ayato continues.

"I wish you could be mine. Meet me by the library during lunch if you wish to meet! Love, Hiro." Ayato's eyes widen at the name. "Hiro!"

Yui finally rips the letter from Ayato's. "At least someone has the guts to tell someone how they feel!" She snaps and Sakura steps away as Yui gets up on Ayato's face, who was dumbfounded by her reaction. "You know, I was hoping you were changing for the better but you're just more of a bigger asshole then before! So just do me a favor and leave me alone." She storms off, the students who have gathered around to listen in whispering to one another and walking away.

Sakura shakes her head in disappointment at Ayato and follows Yui to their first class.

Yui sits in her usual desk and fixes up the crumbled letter. She reads it herself and smiles, putting it away in her bag.

"You going to go meet him?" Sakura asks her as she sits next to her.

Yui nods. "Sure! Why not? I got nothing better to lose."

"Yui-"

"And I need to get over Ayato." Yui continued. "He just made it clear that he is nothing but a disrespectful jerk and I want nothing to do with him."

"You sure?"

"Positive!"

But that was far from the truth.

During free period, Amaya waited out in the rooftop garden for Subaru.

She happily sat down on one of the benches, holding two bento boxes on her lap. Although she knew Subaru didn't really eat human food and neither did she, Amaya still went ahead and made some of her favorite snacks to give to Subaru.

It's been awhile since the two spent quality time together and she missed him. So she sent out a message to Subaru, saying she wanted to see him and he promised he would show up. Now she was just waiting for him.

Amaya heard the door open and her head naturally is drawn to the sound, looking over by the door.

"Subaru!" She says excitedly, putting the bento boxes on the bench and walking over to him. She throws her arms around his neck and pulls him down to her level to kiss him.

Subaru happily kisses back and lets go. "Did you miss that much?"

Amaya nods. "Of course I did! It's been awhile since we've last seen each other." She gestures towards the bench. "I even brought you a bento box."

Subaru gives her a look. "You know I don't eat right?"

"Well neither do I, but I just wanted you to have some sweets."

Subaru smiles at his girlfriends nice gesture and kisses her gently. They sit down with the bento boxes and eat some of the sweets.

Amaya tells Subaru about her family plans to visit the Underworld for a family reunion.

"It would be great if you came with me..." she says, blushing. "My father has been asking to meet you actually. Since we've became official."

Subaru stopped eating midway through his cookie. If he had a heart, it would've stopped beating completely.

While him, Shu, and Reiji, were the least experience when it came to girls and dating, it terrified him to know that a girls father wanted to meet him. He was expecting it to happen, but he didn't think it would happen so soon.

"W-when?"

"Mmmm maybe next weekend?" She guesses. "That's when we're leaving. It'll be great though! You get to meet the family, enjoy a nice dinner, and I can even show you around my place. Of course it won't be as amazing as your manor since you're a royalty-"

"Amaya." Subaru puts his hands on her shoulders. "I will love it regardless." He assures her and Amaya takes a deep breath.

Subaru cups her cheek, "Status or no status, none of that matters to me. As long as you're with me and by my side, that's all I need from you."

Amaya smiles, "Aww Subaru!" She hugs him happily.

Subaru turns red, "Yeah! Don't get all mushy on me now."

She pokes his nose and cuddles close to him. The two continuing to eat their sweets for the remainder of lunch.

Yui was excited and a little nervous to go to the library to meet with Hiro. She couldn't stop thinking about it and even her mind wandered off during class.

Yui collects her lunchbox from her locker and starts walking over to the library. The closer she got, the more she heard the commotion coming from the entrance of the library. She wondered if Kou was holding an unofficial meet and greet, since girls tend to surround him but he wasn't present in her class so that wasn't likely the case.

Then, she smelled the blood.

Students crowded themselves in the entrance of the library and Yui can hear them chanting the word 'fight' over and over again.

She gasps when she recognizes one of the smells belonging to Ayato.

"Excuse me!" Yui yells, making her way through the crowd. Some kids gave her a weird look, but she ignored them.

When she finally makes it to the circle, she gasps when she sees Ayato on top of a boy, beating up his face with his fist.

"You stay the hell away from her!" He yells, punching him even harder.

The boy gasps, spitting out blood. "I didn't know you were dating I swear!" He cries. "Just please leave me alone!" The boy begs.

Yui watched in horror as Ayato just punches the poor boy again. Not being to handle the violence or the smell of blood, she walks up to him and holds back his wrist to stop him from giving another punch.

Ayato angrily turns to see who had stopped him and his eyes quickly soften when he realizes it was Yui.

"Enough." She says. "Go to the basketball court outside while I take Hiro to the nurses office."

"But-"

"Do as I say!" She yells and everyone goes quiet.

Yui hasn't been attending school for a year, but she has grown quite the reputation for being the shy quiet one in her classes. Hearing her yell was definitely something they didn't expect.

Ayato never liked people bossing him around, but Yui has never been so angry before that it worries him. Ayato stands up and the crowd part for him as he leaves to the basketball court.

The blonde girl helps Hiro go to the nurses office. But he was quick to turn her away due to the fact he was terrified what Ayato would do to him if he found out Yui helped him walk to the nurses office.

Yui sighs and leaves Hiro alone as the nurse tends to him. She looks at the love letter he had written to her and just throws it away. There really was no point in keeping it.

She takes a deep breath, collecting her thoughts as she walks out to the basketball court.

Upon arriving, Ayato was shooting some baskets as he waited for her. He turns when he smelled her close and drops the ball.

"Yui-"

"What the hell is your problem, Ayato?" She asks, her voice low but deadly. "First you say I'm not your girlfriend just your blood bank, then you go ahead and drink from other girls right?

"Yui-"

"No, I'm not done talking." She snaps and Ayato bites his tongue. "You're so confusing, Ayato-Kun! I heard from Sakura that you were desperate to have me back and went as far as to search in London at the Vampire Hunting Association, but once I was back in your arms...you just push me aside. I may not be a pure blood like you, but I at least deserve some respect from you. You drank my blood and gave me yours too...what does this all mean Ayato? No vampire just gives away their blood like that." Yui yells, her eyes watery as tears threatened to fall. She looks around and goes to the gate that surrounded the school.

Ayato follows her. "Wait Yui- hey get down from there!" He yells, trying to grab her as she climbs up the gate but couldn't reach her on time.

Yui climbs over the gate and jumps off from the top, landing on the other side of the gate. She fixes her skirt and turns to Ayato, his hands gripping on the gate. She puts her hands on top of his.

"This gate represents everything that is trying to keep us apart." She says. "Your feelings, Ruki-Kun, maybe even your own siblings, but in reality me and you both know that it's you who is keeping us apart. Ayato, I am in love with you. I have been for awhile now. When I was with the Mukami's, not a day went by where I didn't think of you. It was also Sakura who told me how you were desperately looking for me. And once I am back with you, you just...avoid me. Forgive me for using the Lord's name in vein, BUT JESUS CHRIST CAN YOU JUST BE STRAIGHTFORWARD WITH YOUR FEELINGS FOR ONCE?!" She yells, breathing heavily.

Ayato stays quiet, staring at Yui and processing her words. Ayato has never believed in the concept of love. He always thought it was a stupid emotion and a waste of a man's true potential, as love always holds them back. He has seen what love has done to the women in his fathers life. He couldn't possibly make Yui go through the same suffering as that. Yet, the truth is...he doesn't have to. He had the power to make his own rules and life. He doesn't need multiple women in his life like his father. He also doesn't need to be afraid of love.

Because Yui was the one for him.

She is the one who he can trust with his heart.

Before Yui can leave him as she started to move away from the gates, Ayato appears in front of her in a blink of an eye. He pulls her towards him and hugs her tightly, soaking in her scent that drove him crazy.

"Yui, I love you too." He confesses. "So much...I know I am a monster and I constantly want to drink from you, but I can't honestly get enough from you. Shitty excuse I know, but I just don't want to lose you anymore."

Yui cups his cheek. "You won't lose me." She assures him. "Not anymore."

Ayato presses his forehead against hers and gives her a peck on the lips. "Let's go out." He says, grinning. "This Friday."

"And what do you plan on having us do?" She asks, walking away with him to their class, hand in hand.

Ayato grins to himself, already thinking of something for them to do. "Oh, that's going to stay a surprise."

Finally! Those two idiots finally confessed their feelings! But what does the future have in story for them? A lot and I know cause next chapter is gonna be a good one for all you AyatoXYui fans. I think the way Yui confessed her feelings for Ayato on the game was kind of funny and I knew I wanted to include it somehow, without making it weird since it was a little off the first time I read about it. So I hope I did it justice!

We're actually going to start looking into the side situations more and some will be resolved, while some may be a bigger problem then what we know.
