After the school day ended, the 3 girls and Yuma traveled to Cathy's mansion.
"What the hell?! You get to live in a big ass mansion like this?! Why do you get to be so lucky damn it?!" Anna said as she was clearly irritated.
"That's right. My family is rich and I get to have whatever I want. Bet you're jealous huh?" The cat lover said as she had a look on her face that showed that she was trying to mess with Anna.
"Hmph! Just because your rich doesn't mean that you're better than me! Now let's go inside so that I can prove that I'm a better cook than you!" The red-haired girl said as she ran past the others towards the front door. Thankfully for everyone, Cathy has a secret key that allows her to open her front gate at will. She took the other 3 to her kitchen which was moderately sized.
"Here we go. I have plenty of stuff to use so try to make whatever you want. Just try not to break anything ok? I may be rich but I would rather not have to replace anything." The silver-haired girl said as she glared at Anna.
"Ha, as if I would break anything! Watch me! I'm going to make the best meal that Yuma's ever had!" The red-haired girl said as she glared back at Cathy.
"Um… should we stop them? I feel like this is going to go badly." Yuma said as he had a sneaking suspicion that something was off about this whole thing.
"It's probably best that we just let them fight it out. Those two really seem into it so I don't think it would be smart for us to interfere." Kotori said as she sighed and allowed her two fellow girlfriends of Yuma to fight it out. After half an hour, both girls were ready to serve their food to Yuma.
"Here you go Yuma. A nice salad with some dressing and a rice ball. I made some for you too Kotori" The silver-haired girl said to her boyfriend and fellow girlfriend as she laid the food in front of them both.
"Nice job Cathy. It looks good. But wait…. What's that smell? I think something is burning." Yuma said as the others then noticed the same thing.
"Anna, I think whatever your making is burni- WHAT IN THE WORLD DID YOU MAKE?!" Kotori said as she was shocked at what she saw. It was a pot full of what could only be described as something that looked like it was out of a nightmare. It was a sort of purple fluid that looked like poison and that it would kill if something tried to eat it. At the very least, it certainly didn't look like any kind of food.
"Come on Kotori, don't be so judgmental. I put a lot of different tasty stuff in it and used a bit of hot sauce. I'm sure it will be way better than that cat's boring looking meal. Here, I'll even prove it to you by testing it myself." Anna said as she then took a spoon and lifted a bit of the purple goo from her pot.
"NO. DON'T ANNA!" Kotori yelled out as she quickly snatched the spoon from her red-haired friend's hand and threw it into the sink.
"Kotori, what the hell did you do that for? How am I supposed to know how it tastes as if I don't test it?" Anna said in confusion as she thought that this was how you're supposed to check your creations.
"Anna… have you ever cooked before?" Kotori asked in as nice of a tone as she could to not offend her red-haired friend.
"How rude, of course I have! I make toast all the time before I go to school!" Anna said in a tone that showed that she was proud of her achievement.
"HAHAHAHAHA! You idiot, that's not cooking! Anyone can put a couple of pieces of bread into a toaster and heat it up for a few minutes. Heck, I was doing that when I was 8 years old! Oh my god, that is so funny!" Cathy yelled out as she was laughing hysterically.
"S-shut up! How was I supposed to know that that wasn't cooking! My parents always make my meals for me so I never bothered to try to learn ok?!" Anna said as she embarrassed that she seemingly made such a fool of herself.
"I guess all your brains went into those big things on your chest. That's why I don't need those things." Cathy said as she was mocking Anna.
"Stop talking about my breasts damn it! I didn't grow them this big on purpose you know! And anyway, all this means is that we're tied. So the next challenge will decide which of us is better! And I know just the thing to decide it. A duel!" Anna said as she suddenly started gaining back her earlier confidence.
"A duel huh? Your on! I'll take you down and prove that I'm better than you! Time to catbingu!" Cathy said as she looked determined to prove something that Yuma and Kotori were not aware of. Cathy showed Anna and the others to her living room where she and Yuma dueled for the first time.
"This should be a good spot for a duel. All of my little feline friends are away to other parts of the house so this will be the perfect time to crush you and those fat jugs on your chest." Cathy said as she took off her glasses and attached her duel gazer.
"Grrrrr, for the last time, stop talking about my breasts, you cat-obsessed weirdo!" Anna taunted as she attached her own duel gazer to her face. The augmented reality vision appeared which only those with duel gazers can see.
"Oh man, Cathy and Anna are gonna duel! This is gonna be awesome to watch!" Yuma said as he attached his duel gazer.
"Yeah….. I guess it is….." Kotori said as she attached her own duel gazer and started to wonder if everything was going to be ok.
"Duel, Set, Start!" Both the dueling girls said as they drew their first 5 cards.
