You Can Leave Your Hat On-Ch 20
As the newlyweds walked into the reception hall the DJ said, "alright let's give it up for the bride and groom", everybody started clapping their hands as the happy couple walked to the center of the room. Reid intertwined fingers with his wife as the DJ said, "alright it's time for the bride and groom to share their first dance as husband and wife".
Reid pulled JJ into his arms and kissed her lips and said, "I love you Mrs. Reid", she sighed happily and said, "not as much as I love you Mr. Reid as she claimed his lips with another kiss. They pulled apart as the music and words to Lady filled the air, Reid held her close as they started dancing their way across the room.
Derek stood with his arms wrapped around Penelope as they watched the happy couple dance, he kissed the side of his girlfriends neck and said, "would you like to dance"?, she turned in his arms and said, "I would love to angel fish", he intertwined fingers with her and led her to the dance floor.
Hotch then took his wife by the hand and led her to the dance floor to join the others, it was only a matter of a few seconds before the floor was filled with happy smiling couples. The photographer smiled as she snapped picture after picture of the bride, groom and the rest of the bridal party and guests.
She snapped several pictures of JJ and Reid as they danced their first dance as husband and wife, she then snapped several pictures of Emily and Hotch, then Penelope and Derek. She stood watching for a few minutes and continued snapping pictures of the guests as they continued celebrating the marriage of JJ and Reid.
After the first dance ended JJ and Reid headed over to the table to cut their cake, Reid put his hand on top of JJ's as they slid the knife down through the layer of cake. She then scooped the cake into the saucer and then turned to face her husband. she took a bite in her fingers as did Reid.
Everybody stood wondering if they would feed the cake to each other or cover their faces with it, first they took a small bite and then smashed the remaining cake all over each others faces. Reid took his finger and wiped the icing off of her nose and ate it, he then kissed her lips and said, "you Mrs. Reid are delicious".
JJ laughed and kissed the icing off of his face and said, "right back at ya Mr. Reid" as the sound of hands clapping and laughter filled the reception hall. Derek and Penelope clapped their hands and Derek whistled as Reid kissed JJ and then dipped her in his arms, thus deepening the kiss.
When they pulled apart JJ said, "please everybody, eat, drink and help us celebrate", everybody then walked over to the buffet table and started filling their plates with delicious food. Dave laughed as he leaned in and whispered something into Reids ear, Reid blushed and then started laughing.
Penelope sighed happily a few minutes later as Derek leaned in and whispered, "you look so beautiful in that dress but still I can't help but wonder", she looked at him and said, "wonder what"?, he leaned in again and said, "how much better it will look puddled at your feet on the floor".
She leaned in and kissed his lips and said, "don't worry soon you'll find out", he wiggled his eyebrows and said, "I can hardly wait", she winked at him and said, "me either handsome, me either". The reception continued for several hours before JJ and Reid said their goodbyes and started running toward their waiting car.
Their friends were right behind them tossing birdseed at the newlyweds and shouting their congratulations. they all stood waving and smiling as the car holding the happy couple disappeared out of sight. Derek then pulled Penelope into his arms and said, "soooooo, you ready to head out"?, she sighed happily and leaned in and said, "take me home and make mad passionate love to me alllllllll night long".
Derek kissed her passionately and said, "your wish is my command", he then intertwined their fingers and led her toward his car so they could end the night the way he wanted to end them all, with her.
