Errors POV
Error woke up to an alarm blaring beside him. He pulled himself to the side of the bed and stretched far enough to turn the damned thing off before he went deaf. The memories of Monday flooded his mind and he smiled. Turning back around he caught sight of Ink who was still soundly sleeping. Error was now jealous that he could sleep through the stupid alarm clock. He snuggled up beside the artist, wanting to preserve the moments before they had to get ready to go to school. "Ink..." He murmured softly into the others nonexistent ear. The other muttered something along the lines of '5 more minutes' before turning away. Error chuckled lightly before resorting to a different method.
He snuck his hands up his shirt before beginning to tickle the other. He smiled evilly as Ink slowly woke up and began laughing. "E-Error?! Heh- W-what the heck!" Error chuckled as the artist suffered from the tickle torture, Ink was attempting to slap his hand away while containing their laughter and was failing horribly at it. "Error! Hehehe- Stop it!- hahah- why me?!" Ink then whipped the covers back over themselves and hid. Error chuckled again, he knew he could keep tickling them even if they were using the covers for protection but decided not too. "We gotta get to school soon ya silly." Error reminded Ink who huffed from under the sheets. "Did you have to wake me up like that?" Ink questioned, sounding a bit annoyed. "Yep!" The glitchy skeleton smiled before retreating from the bed to ready his stuff.
The meteor shower from last night was still fresh in his mind, seeing Ink act so childish and happy made him feel a bit happy as well. He was now ready for school, he turned to make sure Ink was as well, the artist was ready. Ink stood by the door slightly hopping on his feet, it made Error wonder how one could be so, almost, constantly happy. Upon seeing that he was ready Ink opened the door and skipped out, Error soon following and closing the door behind them. Ink then led Error down the hall, he wait for him at the staircase. "Hey, Error, guess what?" Ink exclaimed while they began walking down the double flight of stairs. "What?" He was genuinely curious, and a bit scared, about what Ink wanted to tell him. "I love you!" Ink then booped his nose and sped down the stairs like fucking sonic. Error was very concerned, and very happy. He couldn't stop smiling as he chuckled a bit at Inks antics as he continued down the stairs.
Error had already dropped Ink off at his class, he rubbed his cheekbone where Ink had planted a tender kiss. He was walking slowly, he didn't worry about avoiding the bullies anymore, or at least for now as he was much to happy for worries. That is at least until some skeleton matched his pace behind him, he had a light blue coat with a grey hoodie. He wore black shorts with a white stripe. He also happened to be covered in dust, as if he'd murdered a whole lot of monsters, but he probably just forgets to clean his clothes. "Hey dude, do you wanna fuck?" The new skeleton asks, Error was very unamused. "Why thE hEll would i wAnt that shit witH a living vAcume?" Perfect, now the fact that he has dust all over him is a interesting insult. The skeleton beside him huffed, what Error could see of his cheekbones were lit in a purple blush. He seemed to be embarrassed as he turned and walked back to a group of skeletons who were all laughing their asses off. 'They must be his friends' Error thought as he continued too class, he didn't really care if he would be late or not.
"Dude im sorry but it was a dare... that was a nice insult." The skeleton was beside him again, he had his friends beside him still laughing their asses off. 'Oh joy, the living vacume is back and with his friends.' Error wasn't sure if they were friendly or not, but they seemed alright. "ItS whatevEr. Whats youR namE?" He could hardly believe he was even socializing. "Dust, yours?" Of course, the skeleton whos covered in dust is called Dust. Well, now he's being a hypocrite, he's covered in Error signs and is called Error, so he can't really say anything. "Error." Dust seemed slightly surprised that it was his name, not surprising considering Error is just another word for mistake, not that he isn't a mistake. "We-Well I'm Cross, and thats the best thing Ive ever heard!" The skeleton who was apparently Cross stated, the skeleton looked like a living oreo. Did everyone here look like a living object? "You said that during Rice Incident #16!" Some skeleton with black goop rolling out of his eyes shouted back. Error simply half ignored the rest of their chat as he continued down the hallway to class.
He saw Ink turn the corner of the crossroad hallway part- whatever it was called. Ink smiled at him, probably because it seemed like Error had found friends. He had to admit, chilling with these skeletons was certainly interesting. Cross and Dust separated from the group as they turned to the left, Ink fell in step on the other side of Error. "Find friends?" Ink whispered. Error nodded. "Good!" Ink whisper-shouted. It seemed the rest of the group was heading to technology as well. A few more steps down the hall and Error found he was right as they all entered the same class, Ink giving him another peck on the cheek before going inside. Error felt himself blushing as what he was kind of hoping to be his first friends pointed at him and Ink, chuckling before they too entered after Ink.
Inks POV
Ink was currently sitting on him and Errors bed, Error was late for getting back to the apartment. Last he had seen him Error had been joking with his new friends but that was it. Ink was getting very anxious, what if something bad had happened? What if he died? What if he got hurt? What if he got hit by a car?! He didn't know, he also knew he was probably overreacting. He was probably doing something, it had only been 20 minutes since the day ended. The little artist was drawing to keep himself occupied and trying to get his mind off of the fear threatening to overwhelm his senses. He knew it was only a small chance something bad had even happened, and something bad probably hadn't even happened but he was still worried.
Ink nearly had a soul-attack when his phone rang, yes he had a phone, from beside the bed. He slid off the bed, leaving his work in progress artwork atop the bed as he landed on the sleeping bag that hadn't been moved. He took a moment to silently panic over the fact if there were spiders underneath it. He picked up the phone that happened to be next to him before it could stop ringing and pressed answer. He was slightly worried about the fact this might be a hospital calling him. "Hey Inky~ Im stAYing over at mY uh, buddiEs house, you saW em at schOol." Hes safe, alright. Ink didn't mind him vibing with friends, he was happy that his lover had finally found some friends in the first place. "Okay! Be safe!." Ink smiled at the phone. "I will bE! Ill be bacK in a hOur." And then Error hung up on him. Ink shuffled back onto the bed, he left his phone on the floor having no need for it now. He could entertain himself for an hour right? Yeah, he can just draw. Drawing is always a fun way to pass the time.
He jumped when somebody knocked on the door. Error? No it couldn't the glitchy skeleton, he had just said he would come back in an hour and it had been one minute at most so, who was it? "Ink, you in here?" Dreams voice rang through the door. That solves the question. "Yep! Give me a second." Ink jumped off the bed and hopped to the door, swinging it open. It wasn't even locked. Dream apparently had very good manners. "Hi friend!" Blueberry squeaked from beside Dream. "Hello! You wanna come inside?" Ink offered. "Yes, we were wondering if we could play some more stuff together or just, like, talk or something. Cause we have nothing to do." Dream said entering the room. "Sure! Truth or Dare again?" Ink suggested as he jumped back on the bed after closing the door behind Blueberry who had entered as well. "Why not?" Dream conceded jumping on the bed with Ink as said artist scooted over. Blueberry pulled himself onto the bed with them, he sat at the end.
"Okay, whos first?" Ink asked once they all got settled. "Why the magnificent Blueberry, of course!" Blue exclaimed. "Pfft- K, you go first Blue." Blueberry sent Dream a death glare as he held a proud heroic position on the bed, or as heroic as you can look while sitting. "Ink! Truth or Dare?" Blue asked, facing him. Dream looked on in curiosity as Ink thought carefully. "Er, dare..?" Blue smiled maliciously, Ink knew he was screwed. "I dare you to make cat sounds everytime you speak for the rest of the game." Dream just started laughing as Blueberry continued grinning. "Alright fair enough..." Blue waved at him in a 'go on' motion. Ink realized. "Hiss?" Blue gave him a thumbs up. "Dream meoW Truth or Dare." Dream was at this point laughing to hard to breathe and both Ink and Blue were starting to join him.
When they all finally managed to calm down was when Dream finally answered. "I-Ill go with Truth." He said between giggles. "Any crushes HSISISSS" Ink responded immediately, his dramatic hissing sending both Blue and Dream into another fit of laughter as Ink too started laughing yet again. "Y-Yes, I have a crush." Dream finally answered. "Who is it?-" He paused. "-meow..." Ink was starting to hate this and love it at the same time, but mostly hate it. "I already answered my truth, Blue, Truth or Dare?" Dream responded with a slight smirk, turning to Blueberry. It was now that Ink realized they were going in a circle. "Uh, d... hmmm, dare." Blue was very scared. "I dare you to make dog noises for the rest of the game, every time you talk." Blue fake cried while Dream gave Ink a hand-five as Ink celebrated Blues relatable suffering. "How could you! Woof!" Blue asked with a hand over his soul, Dream and Ink only laughed. Blue soon joined in.
"Dream, Truth or Dare?" Blue wondered aloud. "Uh- Dare... im gonna die..." Dream accepted his fate as Blue gained a thoughtful expression. Ink laughed at a sudden thought he had. "Dare Dream to make duck noises HSISSSS." He wheezed out as he imagined whoever was in the room beside theirs being very confused. "Perfect! Dream, you heard what he said! BaRK." Blue grinned as Dream fake cried too himself. Ink was very much amused, who knew being forced to make animal noises could be so entertaining. "Why me?! HONKK." And then they fell into laughter again. "HONKK HONK!" Dream shouted angrily as they laughed even harder. Ink was definitely going to enjoy spending some of his own time with friends, he only hoped Error was enjoying the time spent with his new compadres just as much as Ink was.
