Chapter 17
The ball had finally begun. Liana was wearing her pink ball gown, her hair curled with her tiara on her head. Skye was wearing her blue ball gown, her hair rebraided also wearing a tiara. Flynn and Lucas were both wearing suits and their crowns. Eugene was wearing his uniform he wore during royal events with his royal sash, and Rapuznel was wearing a dark purple ball gown and her brand new crown.
"Hello." A young man said walking up to Liana. "Oh hello." Liana said giving a slight curtsy. "My name is Prince Nicholas." He said kissing her hand. "Nice to meet you Prince Nicholas." Liana said smiling.
"Please call me Nick." He said smirking. "Oh ok Nick." Liana said nodding. "May I have this dance?" Nick asked bowing. "Of course." Liana said curtsying.
He grabbed her hands and walked her towards the dance floor. Liana squirmed as he placed his hands on her hips. They started dancing, Nick kept trying to slide his hands down her hips but she would squirm and he would pull them back up.
Finally the song ended and Liana pulled away from him. "Let's go outside." Nick said grabbing her hand and pulling her outside. Liana follwed reluctantly wanting nothing more than Derick to come find her
Liana and Derick had stayed very close while they had never discussed the kiss after it happened there was obvious tension but they both ignored it. Derick was working but he told her when he finished he would come find her.
Nick and Liana sat on a bench outside on the balcony. "So a princess like you must have a boyfriend." Nick said smirking at her. "Oh no I don't have one." Liana said looking away. "Really." Nick said moving closer to her. Liana tried moving away but he only moved closer.
"You know every prince needs a princess." Nick whispered in Lianas ear. "Not really." Liana said standing up and trying to walk away. "Oh yes they do." Nick said pinning her against the the railing.
"Liana!" Derick exclaimed opening the balcony door. Nick turned around which let Liana run over to Derick. "Who's this?" Nick angirly asked.
I'm her friend." Derick said pulling Liana behind him. "Your friends with some servent boy." Nick scoffed. "Come on Derick lets go inside." Liana said trying to pull him away. "Hey you taken my girl." Nick said marching up to him.
"She's not your girl buddy." Derick said turning back around. "Yeah she is." Nick said getting in Dericks face. "No she's not." Derick said getting angry. "She is watch!" Nick yelled. He then grabbed Lianas face and kissed her.
Liana quickly shoved Nick off of her and knocked him out with a punch. "Are you ok?" Derick asked touching her shoulder. Liana felt tears fill her eyes, she quickly ran off flying through the ball room passing Rapuznel and Eugene.
Rapuznel and Eugene looked at each other and ran after Liana. They found her crying in her room. "Honey what happened?!" Rapuznel asked hurrying over to comfort her.
"This creep grabbed me and kissed me and kept touching me, Derick tried to protect me but it didn't work." Liana cried into her moms arms. Rapuznel looked over at Eugene who's face hot red.
"I punched him and knocked him out." Liana said still crying. "Where is he?!" Eugene asked angirly. "Outside on the balcony." Liana said. "Name?" Eugene asked fuming. "Nick." Liana said.
Eugene marches off. Rapuznel stayed with Liana trying to comfort her. "I'm sorry I ruined your ball mom." Liana cried. "No you didn't do anything, if anything that prince did." Rapuznel said rubbing Lianas head.
Eugene ran Derick who was looking for him. "Where is he Derick." Eugene said furious. "Outside he's talking to some new girl. Derick said pointing to the balcony. Eugene began to walk off when Derick said something.
"Sir is she ok?" Derick asked clearly worried. "Go see her." Eugene said patting him on the back. Derick quickly ran off.
"Hey Nick!" Eugene yelled throwing the balcony doors open. Nick jumped up "h-hello sir." He stammered. Eugene picked him up by his shirt collar. "DO NOT EVER TOUCH MY DAUGHTER!" Eugene yell throwing him back down. "GET OUT OF MY CASTLE.
"But sir." Nick tried to explain himself. "NOW!" Eugene yelled. Nick quickly picked himself up and ran off. Eugne looked at the young girl who was talking to the prince. "Go." Eugene said pointing to the door. The young girl quickly ran off.
The next day Liana woke up and just sat in bed holding her necklace. "Hey." Eugene said walking towards Lianas bed.
"Hi." Liana said slipping out of bed. "I've got some guards for you to train." Eugene said leaning on her bed post. Liana smiled and ran up to him.
She hugged him and wouldn't let go. "Thank you for everything daddy." Liana said hugging him tighter.
Eugene hugged her tighter feeling a tear fall down his cheek.
"How about those guards." Liana said looking up at him. Eugene laughed and waited for her to get dress and then took her out to the courtyard where he watched her and knew that she was going to be the next captain of the guard.
I promise will be more upbeat but I had this idea and wanted to go with it. Please let me know if you do not like this chapter because I will take it out but I wanted to try doing a more serious one.
