GOTHAM CITY-DEC 2-01.00 A.M
Batman disarmed the bomb at the last second. He couldn't let Jervis's bomb explodes. Diana was dealing with him upstairs. Batman wrecked the bomb and moved to upstairs.
"Bomb is no longer a threat." He said as he jumped in the fight.
"It's time to get real." Wonder Woman said as she crashed the card on guard's head.
"You weren't real before?" Batman asked sarcastically. He did the same and crashed the card on chief's head.
"A chief and security guard. What's he up to now?" Wonder Woman asked.
"With our enemies you never know." Batman said as guard and chief woke up from mind control.
"Welcome to earth again." Wonder Woman said.
"Thanks guys. I thought he will never let go." Guard said.
"Do not fear Dynamic duo is here." Wonder Woman said proudly.
"We have a slogan now?" Batman asked to her.
"Why not?" She said.
"Do you remember anything?" Batman asked to two hostages.
"No I was cooking and next thing I know is I'm here with you." Chief said.
"Tick tock B and W or you will go boom." Mad Hatter said from somewhere.
"Stop talking Jervis. Batman defused your bomb." Wonder Woman said.
"Yeah come out or I will come and find you. We all know that won't be nice." Batman said.
Jervis wasn't a problem. Actually they were very strong for their enemies but with plans they always keep the duo occupied.
"But that wasn't the plan" Mad Hatter said.
"I think we broke him. He doesn't speak in ryhme." Batman said to his girlfriend.
Wonder Woman heard a curse from last floor. Jervis was hiding there.
"Excuse me." She said and fly to top. She pass thorough ceiling.
"Your girlfriend is very strong." Guard said.
"That's why she is also my bodyguard." Batman said.
After few seconds Diana came back with Jervis in her hand. She threw him to floor. "I found our package." She said.
"What's up?" Batman said. He picked the hat and crashed it. "Police is on the way. He can't do anything now. Make sure he's going to Arkham."
"Don't worry Bats. I'll make sure that police take him." Guard said.
"That's the spirit." Wonder Woman said and duo walked away. They exited from building. Batman grappled to random roof. Diana followed him.
"Let's hope he's the last thing tonight." Diana said.
"It's just one a.m princess. I'm pretty sure I'll be going home with another broken rib." Batman said as he sat down to edge of the roof.
Diana did the same and put her head to his shoulder. "You should be carefull. I'm afraid to hug you in bed." She said.
"It's just a broken rib.You can hug me." Batman said.
"I'm just worried about the boy I love." She said.
"I get that and appreciate it but we are not playing basketball so don't let some injuries stop you." Batman said and winked but the mask. "I winked by the way."
Diana laughed. "We really should change your mask."
"Nah I love it but maybe when I got little bit older. I can change the whole suit." Batman said.
"Just make sure the mouth part is open." Diana said.
"What's up with you and the mouth part?" Batman asked.
"I don't wanna wait till you took off the mask for kissing." She said.
"You sir are horny." Batman said sarcastically.
"Do you complaning?" Diana asked but she already knew the answer.
"Hell No." Batman said.
They both laughed. Moments like these worth to die. While they were talking and joking two different lights passed in front.
"What the hell is going on?" Batman said as he got up immediately.
"Why can't we have a calm night?" Diana said. Being superhero is very stressing.
"Let's move." Batman said and start swing through buildings. Diana flew.
"Did you see what it was?" Wonder Woman asked through commlink.
"Nope. I just saw yellow and green." Batman said as he jumped off from the roof.
"I will try to get close." Wonder Woman said and speed up. She spotted the lights or humans. Whatever they are. She speed up little bit again. "I think they are persons." She said.
"Well they are flying like race cars." Batman said. He was trying to follow but they were too fast.
"Me too." Diana said. She finally caught up the lights. There were two human or at least one of them was human. Other one was a purple man in a yellow suit.
"Hello." Wonder Woman yelled so they could hear her. Boy turned to her.
"You must be Wonder Woman." He said.
Diana take a look at boy and figured out who he is. "You must be Green Something."
"What? My name is Green Lantern." Lantern said.
They were chasing the yellow light. "Who are you chasing?" Diana asked.
"His name is Sinestro. He's my enemy." Green Lantern said.
"Di what's going up there?" Batman asked.
"Well I met Green Lantern." She responded.
"Oo Green Something." Batman said.
"Yep. He's after his enemy Sinestro." Wonder Woman said.
"Are you talking to Batman?" Lantern asked. He was excited to meet greatest duo ever. At least that's what they call them in news. Diana just nod. But because of the conversation they forget about the Sinestro.
"Oh man he escaped." Lantern said as he stop fly.
"Don't worry he's in Gotham now and we don't like people like him here." Wonder Woman said. "Come." Diana led him to roof that Batman standing. They both landed.
"What's up bro? I'm Green Lantern. It's an honour to meet you" Green Lantern said and reached for Batman's hand to shake but as usual Batman didn't shake.
"What are you doing in Gotham?" Batman asked. We all know he don't like metas in Gotham. Except Diana.
"I was following Sinestro. He came here." Lantern said. He was kinda nervous because Batman looks very scary.
"How dangerous is he?" Wonder Woman asked.
"Very." Lantern answered. But something is not right.
"How does this work? I don't see any buttons." Batman said. He was holding the ring in his hand
"What the? How did you?" Lantern was speechless.
"You weren't focusing." Batman said calmly. He gave the ring back. Diana chuckled at the scene. Bruce caught Lantern off guard and it was pretty funny.
"This Sinestro is your enemy and you know how to beat him so we will need your help." Batman said.
"But after we done you'll leave Gotham." Wonder Woman said. No metas allowed sorry.
"Exactly." Batman said and gave a glare to Lantern.
"Yeah sure. Whatever you say man." Lantern said nervously. Batman was good and he wasn't about the make him angry. He just took his ring without being noticed. No one can do that.
"Cool let's get to work." Batman said.
GOTHAM DOWTOWN-DEC 2-02.00 A.M
"I need to leave before they find me." Sinestro said as he keep charge his ring.
"You are leaving too soon? We haven't meet yet." Wonder Woman said as trio landed back to Sinestro.
"How did you find me?" He asked. He was surprised.
"The yellow light is very hard to miss." Green Lantern said.
"Okay eggplant. Don't cause a scene. You are going down." Batman said.
"You are not strong enough to take me down." Sinestro said.
"Are you really wanna put that theory to the test?" Wonder Woman said. She could send him to moon with a punch.
"I'd listen to her." Batman warned him but he knew they will have to fight. No villain comes quietly.
"I won't." Sinestro said and fired a laser from his ring to Batman. Batman didn't expect it. He took the laser and flew back. Diana launched at the yellow lantern but he created a slap and hit Diana.
Diana flew back as well.
"You brought bunch of losers to fight?" Sinestro said and laughed.
"That loser is about the kick your sorry ass." Batman kicked in the back. Sinestro moved towards to Green Lantern. Green created a punch and hit Sinestro.
"How did you get behind me?" Sinestro asked. He was shocked.
"It's a loser secret." Batman said. He was about the punch him but Sinestro flew to sky. "Why is everyone have ability to fly?" Batman said.
"I got it." Diana said and immediately followed Sinestro. She was going fast,really fast. Sinestro turned back and start shooting at her but Diana was blocking lasers with her bracelets.
"You won't stop me." Sinestro said and opened a door. He get in and door disappeared.
"What in the name of Hera?" She said.
Green Lantern came next to Diana.
"Did he use the door?" He asked.
"Yes." Wonder Woman said. They landed next to Batman again.
"Don't get me wrong but you weren't that much of help." Batman said.
"I just wanted to see if you guys are really as good as they say in the news and on social media." Green Lantern said.
"And?" Wonder Woman asked.
"Definitely true." Lantern said.
"Next time do your job and forget about us." Batman said. He was angry because of his childish behavior.
"Yes. Sorry." Lantern said.
"How are we gonna find him now?" Diana said.
"He will be more careful now since he knows that we found him from his ring's light." Batman said,
"Can you track him with your ring?" Wonder Woman asked.
"Yes awesome idea princess." Batman said. Diana smiled.
"I'll try." Green Lantern said and closed his eyes. He was focusing.
"Do you think it will work?" Diana said to Bruce.
"It's our only shot." Batman said. Sinestro was keep escaping. If he stay and fight this time they will take him down.
Lantern was still trying to find him. Duo thought from his look.
"We should build a camp. At this speed it will take some time." Batman said in a mocking tone.
"Let him try Bats." Wonder Woman said. He really wasn't patiance.
"I'm letting him right now princess." Batman said. More they stayed more Batman didn't like it.
"I think I'm onto something." Lantern said.
"Did you find him?" WW asked.
"I think so." Lantern said. Green Lantern hoped he was right or Baman will kick him out of the city. He keep focusing. "Got him."
"Where?" Diana asked.
"A I don't know the name of place so you need to follow me." Lantern said.
"Okay let's go." Batman said and fired his grapple gun.
GOTHAM MALL-DEC 2-02.30 A.M
"Seriously a mall?" Wonder Woman said.
"This is more like a place for Ivy or Clayface. You know there's a plant store and Clayface can turn into anyone." Batman said.
"Those are your enemies right?" Lantern asked. They have huge rogue gallery. He only fights Sinestro so far.
"Yep and not one of the good villains." Wonder Woman said.
"Princess. What the hell is a good villain?" Batman said. Villians are bad. That's why they are villians.
"Yeah I don't know what I'm saying." Wonder Woman said.
"Now we need to find Sinestro and take him down." Green Lantern said.
"Easy peasy." Batman said. He faced much powerful people.
"You sound confident my dark knight." Wonder Woman said with a grin on her face.
"You know I am baby." Batman said.
"So you guys are couple?" Lantern asked.
"I just called her baby. Whatca ya think?" Batman said. "Hawkgirl was more fun to hang out with."
"You met her?" Lantern asked. He saw her on the news and she was pretty.
"Yep she helped us to take down Man-Bat. Like you helping with Sinestro." Wonder Woman said.
"Cool." was all he can say.
"Someone is in love." Diana mocked him.
"What? I don't even know her." Lantern said. "Anyway let's focus on the main issue." Lantern said.
"There's first time for everything. You said something good." Batman said. He was being rude as always. (That's why we love Batman right?)
"What's your problem with me?" Lantern turned to Batman and asked.
"Just testing you. You can't even trust your own father these days." Batman said. He wasn't afraid of some guy with a fancy ring.
"Hey calm down. We are working together here. No fights" Wonder Woman said.
"We are not fighting." Batman said and keep walking.
"How are you still with him?" Lantern asked.
"He's not like this to me." Diana said proudly and followed Batman.
"Why?" Lantern asked. He was curious because Batman wasn't look like someone lovely and kind at all.
"Let's just say we understand each other very well." Wonder Woman said. She was telling the truth though. They were like same soul in different bodies.
"Won't you stop following me?" Sinestro's voice echoed through walls.
"Show yourself coward." Green Lantern said. His ring was glowing so he's ready to fight.
"You've stayed enough in Gotham. Time to leave" Batman said.
"What makes you think that you can beat me?" Sinestro said. His voice was getting closer.
"Last time you escaped. That means you are afraid of us." Wonder Woman said with a smile. She loved scare enemies.
"Don't be absurd." Sinestro said. He was behind them. He created some missiles and send them to trio but they were aware of them. Green Lantern and Diana flew. Batman grappled to another floor and dodged the missiles.
"Let's finish this." Batman said. He threw some batarangs but Sinestro created a shield and blocked them. Wonder Woman came out from nowhere and hit him. Green Lantern created a baseball bat and hit the flying Sinestro. He took damage but wasn't down.
"You are just fools." Sinestro said and start shooting with a imagination minigun. Its bullets is gonna hurt though. Everyone took a cover.
"I liked these rings." Wonder Woman said.
"They are so cool." Lantern said.
"Stay focus on the bad guy." Batman said through commlink. "But yeah ring is cool." He liked it as well but not his style.
"Sorry." Lantern said. He created a U shape pipe and send the bullets back. Few of them hit the Sinestro and made him fall to pool in the mall.
"I didn't know that eggplants can swim." Batman said and jumped off towards to pool. Wonder Woman and Lantern followed him. Before Sinestro can get up,Lantern created a cage and locked him in it. Batman walked to cage. Sinestro was angry.
"This cage won't hold me." Sinestro said. He was about the shoot again but his uniform disappeared and he couldn't shoot. "What? He said in disbelief.
"I really like stealing your rings." Batman said. He was holding Sinestro's ring in his hand.
"What how?" Sinestro asked. This can't be happening.
"He's Batman." Lantern said with a smirk. It was funny. When Batman does it to someone else of course.
"Nighty night." Wonder Woman said and punched him in the face. Sinestro lost conscious.
"Noice. He's down." Batman said as he threw the ring to Lantern.
"I'll take him back to OA for judgement." Lantern said.
"Before you go." Batman said and reached for a communicator from his belt. "Take this. If you need help call us or maybe we'll call you."
Lantern took the device. "Thanks Man."
"And about being rude. Like I said I was testing you. I didn't to Hawkgirl because she's not as powerful as you. That ring is no joke. I needed to see if you have self control or not." Batman said and reached for Lantern's hand for shaking.
"No problem." Lantern said and shaked his hand. He created a big bubble and trapped unconscious Sinestro in it. He flew away.
"This was fun." Wonder Woman said and looked around. "Oh man that son of a bitch destroyed the ice cream shop." She said angrily.
Batman chuckled. "Calm down princess. It's not the ice cream shop in Gotham you know." He said.
"But it was the best." Wonder Woman said.
"Let's just go." Batman said and chuckled again. He love this girl with his life.
I focused on the characters on this chapter so because of that action and story wasn't strong. Count this as a mini chapter and next one will be like this too cause I'm gathering the League together. Enemy is coming.
