Happy anniversary! I can't believe that it has been FOUR YEARS since I last updated! I want to thank everybody who has read this story so far.

Chapter 19 To The Temple
Aang's POV
The Next Day
It was now midday and we still weren't by the temple.
"Come on boy", I said to Appa. "We've got a long way to go. Faster!"
"Ototo", Zuko said suddenly. "We've got trouble."
"Yeah", Sokka agreed. "And it's gaining fast!"
With that I turned my head...and gasped in shock.
A Fire Nation ship was following us!
Then...they fired a fireball at us!
"Fireball", Mai yelled.
"I'm on it", I yelled before steering Appa away from the fireball.
"We have to get out of the ships range before they fire another hot stinker at us", Mai pointed out.
"Can't you make Appa go any faster", Sokka asked.
"Yeah", I replied. "But there's just one problem."
With that I pointed in front of me...and everybody gasped in shock.
"A blockade."
True as day, there was a Fire Nation ship blockade in front of us!
"If we go North, we can go around the ships and avoid the blockade", I revealed.
"That'll take too long", Mai pointed out. "We need to get to the temple before sunset."
"This is exactly why I didn't want you guys to come", I revealed. "It's too dangerous."
"And that's exactly why we're here", Uncle stated.
"Let's run this blockade", Sokka suggested.
"If you say so", I said. "Everybody hold on tight! It's going to be a bumpy ride. Appa, yip yip!"
With that...we continued to fly straight, and after some dodging...we made it past the blockade!
"We made it", I said happily.
"We made it into the Fire Nation", Sokka said fearfully. "Great."
Four Hours Later
We had arrived at the temple.
"You did it buddy", I said to Appa. "Nice flying."
With that I turned to face everybody.
"You guys ready", I asked. "The let's go."
Ten Minutes Later
We were inside the temple.
"It's almost sundown", I pointed out. "We'd better hurry."
"Stop!"
With that we turned around...and saw the Fire Sages!
"Who are these guys", Sokka asked.
"We are the Fire Sages", a Fire Sage revealed. "Guardians of the temple of Avatar Riku."
"Great", Sokka said before gesturing to me. "He's the Avatar!"
"Yeah", I said. "They don't care about that. Run!"
With that we started running.
"Do you know where you're going", Sokka asked.
"Nope", I replied before running into a Fire Sage. "Wrong way!"
With that we ran the other way...and into a dead end!
We then turned around...and saw a Fire Sage!
"I don't want to hurt you", he stated. "I am a friend."
With that...the Fire Sage bowed his head to me.
"I know why you are here Avatar", he stated.
"You do", I asked in shock.
"Yes", the Fire Sage replied. "You wish to speak to Avatar Roku. I can take you to him."
"How", I asked.
With that, the Fire Sage threw a fire blast into a wall...and a secret passage opened.
