Let's dive on into this. I've been busy with school and stuff but I plan to keep writing!

Elias POV

Throughout the Report, I was a nervous wreck. I don't think I payed to much attention to what was going on. My only thought was on the Rose ceremony tonight. The Rose ceremony. Oh god. Elias's nerves were like a train if the train was going five hundred thousand miles an hour.

Kahlie was going home. Elias knew that for certain. He hated the idea that he was getting rid of a girl that he actually liked, but he couldn't have the Rebels controlling his movements on the throne.

He just didn't know how to tell her. She obviously didn't know her mother was a rebel, but then again, she may be good at hiding secrets. Elias was a nervous wreck by the end of the report. He was zoning out, so he didn't even notice when Emmy tapped him on the back. "Elias are you alright, you look pale." Emmy said, breaking Elias's zoned out state.

"Oh! Yea, I'm fine. I'm just nervous for the rose ceremony." He said, looking at Emmy. She nodded understandingly. "Well, you know, you don't have to do the rose ceremony anymore. In fact, eliminating people in private with show respect towards them rather than a public elimination." Emmy stated, walking along with Elias. I didn't even think of that. I didn't want to come off as rude to any of the girls.

"Thank you Emmy." I said. She smiled. I walked to the room where the girls were. Emmy quickly got in line, along with everybody else. They seemed nervous. "Hello Ladies. It has been brought to my attention that since we are down to Elite and there are fewer of you, that private eliminations will be more respectful towards you." Elias looked at the girls. Most of them seemed happy, they weren't going to be publicly eliminated. Sasha and Katie, however, were nervous. For what, I didn't know, but Sasha was looking at the ground and Katie was rocking on her heals.

"That'll be all, thank you ladies." I said, walking out, hoping to get my speech prepared for Kahlie.

Kahlie's POV

I will still never get used to the attention I was receiving. Her maids were lovely people. She adored them. They quickly became her friends since the Selection started. They worked her out of her dress and put on a night gown. She smiled.

She knew that she wouldn't get used to going back to her home town. But she was a Three now, she didn't have to be a Six. She could be a teacher or a librarian or...

A knock on the door interrupted her thoughts. Her head maid got up quickly to answer the door. "Your Majesty!" She curtsied. I smiled and got up. "Thank you Hannah! Hi Elias." I went over to the door. His face made me freeze in my tracks. My smile faultered.

He looked nervous. "Can you, give us a moment?" I asked my maids. They all agreed quickly and rushed out. I ushered Elias in. "What is wrong Elias?" I asked quietly, in case there were any eavesdroppers outside the door.

"This... this is going to be hard for me." He started. My heart sank. "I'm... leaving?" I guessed. He nodded. I fought the urge to cry. I would not cry. I would not. "Why? If you don't tell me, its fine. I just... want to know."

He inhaled. "This has nothing to do with you, Kahlie. It was brought to my attention about your Mother being a Rebel. I can't.." He started. I couldn't hear the rest of the words coming out of his mouth. Time was slowed.

My mother was a rebel?

It seemed impossible, but the more I thought of it the more it made sense. She left the family, and then never wanted to see me again until I was Selected. She just wanted me to support her cause. I nodded, cutting off Elias.

"I understand." I said weakly. "Please for-" Elias started again, but I cut him off in a hug. "This is not your fault Elias, you're doing what is best for your Kingdom." I half smiled. Elias hugged me in return.

"Have your maids help you pack. You don't have to leave until tomorrow after breakfast, but you want to be ready and not in a rush when the time comes." Elias explained. I nodded again, walking with Elias to the door. "If your Dad is still here, you might want to break the news to him" He said. I shivered slightly. "He is still here, I'll go tell him."

Elias smiled slightly, opened the door, and left.

Alright, Kahlie is leaving! Emmy, Emma, Sasha, Katie and Gwen are left. Leave who you think will win, but things might get complicated...
