(POV change: 1st person Alex Moran)*

After being interrogated by the police, the car ride back to UA was pretty smooth. I couldn't wait to get back and go to bed because I was so exhausted. By this point I really didn't care if I got to hang out with Shoto or any of my friends. If anyone was still up, and if nobody got in big trouble for coming to rescue me, I'd gladly hang out for a bit, but I was so tired I really wouldn't be upset if that wasn't the case.

Once I got to UA, I saw Shoto standing outside the dorms. It was odd to me because it was fairly late and it was raining outside. The car pulled up close to the building to let me out. I thanked the driver and he drove off. "Shoto?" I questioned.

"Alex, I'm sure you've heard it a ton already tonight, but I'm so glad you're okay," he smiled and grabbed my hands.

"I guess I should have went to train with you and then we never would have been in this situation to begin with," I chuckled.

"It's okay, I told you I'd protect you, so that's exactly what I did, I went after you because I was worried and I love you," he smiled.

"Thank you, I love you too," he pulled me in for a kiss. I finally got that cheesy, cliche, kissing in the rain scene that's on almost every teen movie, that every teenage girl secretly dreams of.

I guess this is where my story ends for now. It really was a wild ride that I never would have thought I would have went on. While in the beginning I might not have thought so, but this gave me so many opportunities I would have never had before, like making new friends, becoming a hero and potentially finding the love of my life. All in all, no matter what happens in life, and whether or not you're expecting it, a happy ending could just be right around the corner.
