Chapter 17

I had been watching things go by as I was looking out the window; when I was startled by Optimus' holoform crackling to life. I stared at his holoform; and frowned abruptly.

"Does my holoform please you?" he asked.

"Yes, but your real look pleases me just as much." I said honestly as he smiled then.

"My alien form pleases you too, truly?" he questioned.

"Yes, it does." I answered.

Optimus looked back toward the road; and his holoform smiled. I reached out and laid my hand on his and his unnatural bright blue eyes locked with mine.

I know things are different here and you are losing your patience with some of the human governments. I want you to know you can trust me; I would never do anything to hurt you." I said as he watched me intensely.

However what happened next I wasn't ready for at all one minute I was staring longingly into those blue eyes of his; and the next I was flying through the air and slamming into the ground hitting my hit on the road.

"Find Cover...!" Optimus yelled as he was suddenly attacked by vehicles and several helicopters.

No, Cemetery Wind!

I winced as I got to my feet and then I saw him, James Savoy; and my attention wavered when I saw Optimus get hit with missiles.

"No, not on my watch," I snarled getting up.

I saw Optimus fall to his knees as James Savoy walked up; I could tell Optimus was severely wounded.

"So, where is that human who is with you, I was told someone was with you?" Savoy demanded.

"She's right here, butthead!" I yelled as I held up my hand and popped all the guns away from the Cemetery Wind soldiers. "Get away from Optimus Prime, Savoy!" I shouted.

"You, you were in the nightclub where my sister worked; and where is the other little b..." he never got to finish the sentence.

"K-Kathy get o-out of here," Optimus begged as energon ran down his mouth.

I levitated James Savoy, damn it this was going to drain me bad now.

"Can you transform?" I asked him quickly.

"Y-Yes," he said as I heard him shout out in pain as he transformed back into his cab.

I slammed Savoy into one of the vehicles; and dropped to the ground.

"Shit," I struggled to my feet and got into Optimus as he took off pushing himself.

He scanned a rusted old beat up cab just like in Transformers 4 Age of extinction; I was really worried about him.

"I-I am too w-weakened I cannot get to the A-Autobot base; and my commlink was d-destroyed." Optimus said his voice crackled badly.

"We need to get underground so Cemetery Wind can't find you or lock onto your energon signature." I said in a tired voice.

"T-There is a place I can go to," he said.

"Stay with me, Optimus, please," I whispered.

"H-Humans... Attacked me I-I am an a-ally...W-Why?" he asked as his voice broke into static once more.

I wasn't sure what to tell him; I reached out to touch him and he trembled so badly.

"I-I am an ally," he kept saying over and over again.

I wasn't really sure what was going on Cemetery Wind didn't show up until the fourth movie; so obviously things were drastically different and the Autobots would be targeted now. Optimus was their leader and Prime; and they must have figured they could take him out and then make it look like the Decepticons did it.

Optimus and I were on our own for however long it would take; it was my duty to protect Optimus Prime. I wouldn't let any more harm come to him; if it drained me it wouldn't matter I was sent here with the others to help him I wasn't going to let Optimus Prime down never!
