That Saturday felt like a millennium ago to Harry although it was only a week. Harry had learned the truth about how his parents died exactly a week ago, but it felt like he'd known all his lifetime. As if the week just decided to drag on because it wanted to. The next day would be Christmas but it didn't feel as if and Harry definitely wasn't in the mood to celebrate. He was sure he wasn't even getting anything for Christmas beside a jumper.

Harry has been staying in his bed only getting up to go to the bathroom. He didn't eat for a week which scared Hermione, but Ron felt sympathy toward him, and Harry was used to it. He was depressed because his dad's best friend ultimately killed him and caused all of the pain that Harry goes through right now.

"Ron, he needs to eat!" Hermione said in a whisper.

"I know but I wish I could do something. I've tried already," Ron told the girl. It was true Ron did do a lot. That Saturday he offered to buy Harry anything he wanted from Hogsmeade. That Sunday he asked Harry if he wanted to go to the Chess club with him before everyone left. Monday, he suggested the three go out and play Quidditch. Tuesday, he tried to prompt Harry with the prospect of food but that didn't help. Wednesday, he told the boy he would do his homework for him if he just came out. Thursday, he told the boy that Fred and George were pulling a gigantic Christmas prank to cheer him up, but he didn't care. And Friday he told the boy that he loved him, and he was sorry, and he slept in his bed because he felt the boy shouldn't have been alone. "Many times."

Hermione walked up to the boy and she patted his back.

"Harry. You need to eat. You haven't eaten since Sunday and quite frankly you're scaring all of us," Hermione said.

"Don't you think I should be scared," Harry said harshly. "Sirius Black pretty much killed my parents and he's trying to kill me too. I'm the one who should be scared. Not you!"

Ron and Hermione looked at each other. It was only the three of them because Dean, Seamus, and Neville went home for the holidays. "Harry you shouldn't be getting mad at Hermione. She's only trying to help."

"You're right Ron. I shouldn't be mad at Hermione. I should be mad at you."

"Me! What did I do?" Ron asked perplexed.

"You're the one who suggested I should sneak into Hogsmeade and look what happened. I learned the truth."

"If anything you should be happy with me. At least you know the truth. You wanted to think that only you live in this world. You're not the main character Harry. You're not the mighty one. You're not the goodest guy okay. You shouldn't blame anyone but yourself because you couldn't handle the truth."

Harry hurried up and got out of the bed and pulled his wand on Ron. "You want to see how much I can't handle the truth."

"Okay, let's see!"

"Boys! Calm down. This isn't what we need to do. Harry it isn't Ron's fault. Ron Harry's in emotional distress. We need to all chill and how about we go downstairs and eat," Hermione said trying to stop the situation. Both Harry and Ron were staring at each other as if they wanted to kill each other.

"You really are my brother, annoying and rude" Ron said.

"And you really are a right foul git" Harry said.

"You weren't going to do anything. I know it."

"Yeah I guess you're right. I guess I didn't have the heart to do it."

Ron sat down on his bed and Harry went back to his bed. "Harry this isn't healthy. You need to eat, and you need to get out of this room," Hermione said.

"I've been starved for longer," Harry said.

Ron and Hermione sighed. They walked out of the room and left Harry to himself. A while passed and Harry heard double steps walk up.

"Harry!" the twins said simultaneously.

"How are you cheery fellow!" George said.

"George. Not acceptable. He's obviously stressed," Fred said. "Harry. The prank was genius. I've never seen McGonagall so angry."

Harry didn't say anything. He just listened to the twins. He heard the twins stand up and heard their footsteps out of the room. He pushed the covers up above his head and he blocks everything out. Christmas arrives and Ron takes the cover off of Harry and drags him out of the bed.

"Look. I understand and we're sorry but it's Christmas. Please come down," Ron said.

"Please Harry," Hermione said.

"Fine. I'll go out but I won't promise to have fun," Harry said pessimistically.

"You're going to have fun because Im going to force you to," Ron said as he and the other two walked back down the stairs into the common room which felt warmer compared to the bedroom. Harry followed Ron and Hermione all the way to the Great Hall where they sat down at the Gryffindor table and started to eat their breakfast. Ron had walked away and came back with three boxes wrapped with Christmas paper and sat them in front of Harry and Hermione.

"It's from Mum. They're probably jumpers," Ron told the two. Harry picked up the one that had his name on it and took it out. It was a nice fiery red that has a gold H on the front. Harry hugged the jumper and he looked at Ron whose jumper was orange with a black R on it. He saw Ron try to hide a smile, but he couldn't. He looked at Hermione who has a blue jumper with a silver H on it and she put in on quickly. The three all looked genuinely nice in their jumpers and they all like it. "You're smiling Harry!"

Harry didn't even realize that he was smiling until Ron had pointed it out. He didn't expect himself to smile that day, but he couldn't. He eventually went back to happy Harry instead of heated Harry. Harry, Ron and Hermione went to visit Hagrid which they haven't really been doing because they've all been busy with their classes and homework. They walked down the grounds in the snow, and they knocked on the hut's door.

"Alright, alright. I'm comin'. Jus a second," they heard Hagrid say in his hoarse voice. The large man opened the door and the three went inside. "Can I interest yeh kids in some tea."

"Sure," Hermione said taking off her coat. Ron and Harry did the same and they sat down around the table. "How have you been Hagrid."

Hagrid gave all three of them a mug of tea and they started to sip slightly. "Well, I've bin alright. Malfoy decided ter create a case against Buckbeak an' me so we have ter go ter a hearing."

"Because Draco decided to milk his injury! He wasn't even that injured!" Ron shouted.

"Ron calm down. There's no use getting angry now," Hermione said.

"I agree with Hermione. No need ter get all angry fer me. I'll handle it," Hagrid said staring to drink his tea. Hagrid suddenly had a moment of realization and said, "Oh! I have Christmas gifts fer yeh all. Lemme jus get 'em."

Hagrid walked to somewhere else and he came back with three present. He gave Hermione hers first and she opened it. "Hagrid! A notebook with two spells on the cover. Ah Hagrid you shouldn't have."

"Don' worry. I think yeh deserved it," Hagrid said with a grin on his face.

"Now I have some more places to keep my notes," Hermione said. Hagrid gave Ron his next and it was bigger than Hermione's. Ron opened it and it was a new set of Wizard's chess. Ron looked at Hagrid and ran up to the large man and hugged him.

"Thank you, Hagrid. Finally, someone gets me!" Ron exclaimed as he put the chess set next to him on the seat.

"An' finally, yeh Harry. Here yeh go," Hagrid said giving Harry his present. Harry opened it and it was a book with photos of his parents while they were at Hogwarts and in their adult life. Harry didn't know what to say. He looked at Hagrid and he shook his head. They finished their tea and walked out away from Hagrid's hut and made it back to the castle. The rest of their day was spent opening presents and walking around the school with the Marauders Map and Invisibility cloak. Harry was sitting in his bedroom when he heard a knock at the door. He and Ron didn't know who it was because no one ever knocked on the door. Harry opened it and saw Dumbledore standing right in front of them with his pink robes on and his long white hair flowing flawlessly.
