Chiyo was quite busy organizing paper work when the door to her office burst open, and the crystal boy from the Entrance Exam ran in, carrying another member of his class. Just from what she could see, the unconscious girl had bruises, lacerations, and burns across her body. The boy explained that she had also fallen two stories into concrete, so she likely also had broken bones and a concussion.
After having him set her down, she quickly ushered him back out while getting ready to wake the girl back up, since her quirk could be dangerous to use on someone who was unconscious and concussed. As she did so, she smiled lightly to herself, happy that at least someone in the new classes cared about their classmate's health.
As Izuku walked out of the nurse's office, and started calming down, he noticed that his costume was in tatters. Well that certainly lasted a while. He decided to head over to the Support Department after changing back into his uniform to turn it in for repairs.
As he opened the door to the Support Department, he was greeted by a large explosion that nearly caused him to topple backwards. Great, as if he didn't have to deal with explosions enough with Kacchan around. As he heard a teacher yelling at someone named Mei for causing said explosion, he felt another impact, this time a girl with pink dreadlocks tackling him to the ground. He luckily had a mind to turn over so she landed first, since dashing him against the floor right now wouldn't be of help to anyone.
The girl started excitedly talking at a rate even Izuku couldn't quite follow, although he could get the gist of her wanting to know more about how his quirk worked, and how many of her "babies?" would work well with someone made of crystal. He could see her eyes, which had crosshairs for pupils, seemingly zoom in to look at him more closely before she bounced back to her feet, bringing him along for the ride.
Finally noticing there was a teacher there, Power Loader, who might actually have sanity, he went in that direction.
"I came to turn this costume back in, it got... a bit of damage during training." Izuku offered up what was left of his costume after Kacchan's explosion and his digging through rubble.
"A bit of damage indeed!" Power Loader remarked as he inspected it. "You're good to just leave it here, we'll have it repaired for you within a week or so. Does that work for you?"
Izuku assured him that it did, and decided to go check on Yaoyorozu again before he went back to class. When he got back to the nurse's office, Recovery Girl informed him that she was asleep now due to her healing and that he should just head back to class, and she's likely be back up in a couple hours.
As Izuku head back towards Ground Beta, he thought back on the training they had done that day. He felt he could have been able to save her, SHOULD have saved her, instead of his complacency leading to her injury. He knew this wasn't really true, and that there was no way of knowing that Kacchan's explosion would have hit her two stories up, but as a hero he still felt it was his duty to save everyone even when it wasn't reasonable to expect him to.
When he made it to the viewing station, where the students who weren't training were observing through the camera system, All Might explained that most of the rounds were already done, and the last was finishing up right then. He could see Kacchan in the back, studiously ignoring him, which he was fine with. He didn't really want to talk to Kacchan either after the boy's reckless attack.
After the final round was done, they were sent home, and Izuku was left thinking about how he still hadn't seen Yaoyorozu for the rest of the day, or on the way out.
