a/n: i'm so sorry for the long break guys, midterms are a terrible thing, especially in august/september. At the time of writing, I'm supposed to be studying but Math honestly makes my head spin so cue the procrastination.

Anyway, the only reason I actually posted this chapter is because it is my birthday tomorrow, (yay!) and i wanted to share that with you guys. I don't want to bore you right now so the rest of the a/n will be at the bottom cuz i have more things i wanna talk about.

The platform.. Let's just say it was wild. I won't comment on that any further. There were streamers, confetti, canons, and surprisingly a rat. To be honest I only knew about the confetti. Definitely not the rat.

Well as soon as we managed to make it through the barrier, we saw my family (minus Petunia, of course). Which just meant Mum.

"Hi Mom!" i said, running to her.

"Hey Mrs. E!" said marlene with equal enthusiasm.

"MAMA E!" shouted sirius barrelling into my poor mother with more enthusiasm than Marley and myself combined.

After sirius was done smothering my mom, she turned to the rest of us.

"Hi Marlene, dear." she said. I coughed loudly. "Oh, yes hi lily hon." I rolled my eyes.

"Love you too Mum." I shot at her.

"I know love," she shot back.

Then mum turned to the boys. "Lily sweetie, you were only allowed to bring two." she sighed, gesturing to the four Marauders. "With all the rest of the family coming, we won't have space for four. And Tunia won't even let them in. She's so picky goddammit."

That's when I realised really how tired my mother looked. Petunia must have been nearly killing her with her wedding planning.

"Oh no." said Remus. "Peter and i are just leaving, we would want to burden you Mrs Evans,"

"Oh you're so kind." my mother gushed.

"Have a nice day!" said Peter, as he and Remus left our company.

"So these are the two boys you are bringing." said mum, examining them top to toe. "Hmm.. not bad.."

"MUM!" i said, mortified, because well, one: my mom just said that to James and Sirius and two because well-

"Honoured mama E," said Sirius bowing haughtily.

That.

"What are your names?" asked mum.

"I am-" began sirius

"This is James Potter and this is Sirius Black." intervened Marlene before her boyfriend caused too much trouble. I am ever grateful.

"Oh okay, well then." said my mother.

When we reached home, Petunia in classic Petunia fashion exclaimed that she was going to meet Vernon and tried to leave. Only this time, my mother grabbed her and firmly told her to greet her substitute bridal party.

Petunia reluctantly agreed.

Go mom!

When she saw James and Sirius, she froze in her tracks. Clearly she didn't expect 'a freak' to be so good looking. That and Sirius kept trying to flirt with her.

After greeting them, Petunia marched out.

My mother sighed and told us to make ourselves comfortable as she was going to finalize stuff with Petunia. Then she rushed out.

"So lily." said Sirius, clearly flirting. James, probably sensing where this was going finished his sentence.

"Your parents aren't home." he breathed.

Oh my merlin.

Shut up stupid voice.

"Oh sod off both of you." I said.

"But we can't waste this time.." said sirius, moving closer. Marlene smacked his arm. He stepped away. Go marlene!

Then James did the same thing. "He's right you know," he said.

Oh my god.

I think your insides just melted.

I think my whole body just melted.

Well you're not wrong..

I glanced at Marlene, who was having a silent fit of laughter., not at all coming to my rescue like a best friend should. Screw you Marley.

"Oh sod off, Potter." I managed, side-stepping.

Both the boys erupted into peals of laughter. I rolled my eyes. "Be nice or I will make you sleep outside." I told them, my cheeks probably still beet red.

That shut them up.

Ha! Victory!

Oh my god.

What.

The apocalypse is near!

Why?

You and I actually agree for a change.

Oh well.

Oh yeah.

The apocalypse was near when you fell in love with James Potter.

Love? I-pfft! I don't love him! Your stupid.

Still in denial Evans?

Am not!

At least we disagree again.

Why i oughta-

"Lily!" there was a snapping of fingers in front of my eyes. "Lily!"

"What!" I exclaimed.

"I don't even know where you go sometimes." sighed Sirius.

"I don't know either." I agreed.

Marlene rolled her eyes. "Despite however these two sods eloquently phrased, we are still home alone, and should use this time!"

We all agreed.

"Wait, I'm hungry." marlene complained.

"I'll show the boys the guest room, you grab a snack from the fridge or something." I said.

"Okay." marlene agreed.

After showing the boys the guest room- "when are we not roommates prongs! I'm sick of you!" "stop being such a drama queen and just get another room in the mansion Padfoot."- we sat down in my bedroom- "nice toys Evans" "they're decor Sirius. Just shut up."- to wait for Marlene.

"Eugh she is taking such a long time!" complained Sirius.

"She's probably looking for food." said James.

"Is you fridge hidden inside a bunch of trials and brain scans, Evans?" asked Sirius.

"No, but with me not over here and with Mum at Petunia's every beck and call, we probably only have leaves in the kitchen."

"Ew" the boys said in unison.

"Well good luck to her," said James.

"Good luck to who?" asked Marlene coming in.

"To you. What've you got?" I butted in.

"Well after making it past a few leaves i found ice cream!" she declared, placing a bowl in front of us.

"YAY" shouted sirius, lunging for the bowl.

"SHARE!" snapped James.

Marlene and I rolled our eyes. Then she did the despicable.

She pulled out pickles.

What is wrong with pickles?

Nothing.

?

She dipped them.

In ketchup?

Ew that is bad too. I'm saying ICE CREAM.

Eugh okay .

Ew.

The boys were staring at her.

James blanched.

Sirius turned away.

"Marlene.." I whispered.

"What?" she asked, her mouth full of ice-cream pickles.

"That-" I pointed at the food, unable to continue. Marlene's diet had been progressively weird the past few days, but this was over the limit.

"Really lily." she said, swallowing her pickle suddenly annoyed. "Are you really going to have that reaction to this food? This food that I am eating? I thought you were my friend, and you!" she pointed to the boys, oh no. I could sense a Marlene rant coming. "Oh don't look so disgusted Potter! And Sirius!" she suddenly sat down and continued eating.

What?!

"Uhh, Marlene?" no response. "Marl," nothing. "Marley sweetie you are going to have to say something."

She swallowed.

And grinned.

What on earth?

Tell me 'bout it.

"Marlene what's going on?" asked Sirius tentatively.

Marlene looked up at him and said, "I have to pee." and left.

Then it clicked, like it was the last piece before the big picture.

And I voiced my thoughts.

"Marlene's pregnant."

a/n: dun dun dun! Sorry for that painfully short chapter, but I can promise the next one to be much longer. Now i've got some things to say so please stick around, this is going to be a moderate to long Author's Note.

I am thinking of dabbling in some AU's. I came up with a Jily AU (ofc lol). I also came up with the idea of a PJO/HP crossover with like PJO and HOO characters in the HP universe, but i'm still debating that- i'll probably write the entire thing to see how it comes out and then go on from there. Even if i don't end up posting the entire thing, i will probably post what house i think each character should be in and why.

Let me know if you want the PJO/HP thing or not.

I've also thought of doing a Blackinnon one-shot set in the IWBTH universe but that's still up for debate.

A note for all the My New Neighbour readers out there, i have put that on hiatus right now because my brain is absolutely uninspired when it comes to that. A note for all the 'If Harry Potter had Google' readers, fear not, it will get updated as soon as i'm out of hell (i.e exams). And lastly for 'Hogwarts in Quarantine', that's complete now unless any of you guys have any ideas.

I'm also going to edit all of my stories to weed out any typos and plot errors, so there's that.

It all made sense, except one gaping hole. James agreed. "It can't be right? I mean you need to have- uh-" "done the deed?" I asked. He nodded. We both turned to Sirius who wouldn't meet our eyes.

And we'll also have a super cute Jily!supermarket scene!

plus, did you catch the Hunger Games quote in the last chapter? or the Maze runner reference in this one?
