Chapter 17 Final battle 6
A/N- This is the final chapter of the arc. I wanted to continue on with Aron vs Red but I was tired after writing for so long, so I apologise about that. An epilogue to the first saga should come soon. Hope you enjoy!

*Explosions*
Hoopa and Zygarde were still fighting on par with each other. But the large hand held Hoopa and was crushing the genie Pokemon.
"Why is it attacking me? Should't it be under Samuel's control? Or did he betray me? Ugh..."
"Listen, humans and Pokemon alike. I am the ruler of humanity. With the philosopher's stone, I can kill anyone, or grant them immortality as I choose. You have no choice but to kneel to me. I shall now declare war against gods. You shall obey me, the king of fate and destiny, the emperor of mankind, Basil Phoenix!" The voice went through the minds of every single human and Pokemon alike. Each heard in their own language.
"Objection." Someone replied to Basil. "I will stop your plans. Remember my name, its Issac." Issac himself was trying to conquer the power of Philosopher's stone.
"Kid, do you really think you can really break the philosopher's stone? Even if you succeed the energy burst {Too much energy at one point} will kill you." Gueron warned Issac.
_ "Zygarde! We need to use both of our power to stand a chance against that thing. Help me!"
[Eterna beam]
A large beam was shot at Hoopa who was knocked unconscious in a single shot.
"Such Power" Zygarde used thousand arrows, critically wounding. Eternatus wasn't able to move for mere 5 seconds, and used another one of those attacks.
[Ra form: Solar storm]
Vlam successfully blocked the attack. But they were now surrounded by a vortex of acid. [Max Ooze]
"What is that thing? Its strong. Just too strong for normal Pokemon." Zygarde and Vlam were barely holding off Eternatus' attacks.

"Ughh... This is ripping off my body. I can't... No, I will hold this." Akira tried to stop Issac, but he wasn't able to get past the barrier. Touching it could melt him. The holder of the philosopher's stone can transmute barrier around himself.
"I... I will only help you until we defeat that thing. Once it's over, you will be killed by my hands."
"I am coming too. Issac's taken his choice. If I keep trying to stop him, it will just be dis respecting his struggle. I will play my part in this war. Noivern, supersonic."
"You are courageous one. Let me help you." Mewtwo proposed
"Let me help too. Now that its ability to hear us is weakened with Supersonic, I and Mewtwo will attack it." Alakazam added
"If you come in the way, I will rip you apart."
"You, younglings are full of energy. I will put my trust in that man. Because beating that thing is impossible."
"You won't know until you try." Akira ran towards Eternatus.
Mewtwo flew towards Eternatus, and used Psystrike which was powered up by Alakazam. The explosion surprised both Zygarde and Vlam. Eternatus who observed this, used max ooze.
[Reverse flow] Alakazam tried to neutralize the attack, but Eternatus ignited all the acid with Max flare.
[Reverse flow; Double whirl pool] Quagsire combined its reverse flow along with Alakazam, Neutralizing the attack and giving Mewtwo a free hit. But as the smoke cleared, a hand grabbed Mewtwo.
Alakazam tried to save Mewtwo, but...
"Move and Blazarous will tear your innards" Basil threatened Alakazam."
"Being controlled once again. So, I need to fight with you once again. How long will our suffering continue I wonder? Why won't anyone let you be in piece, Alcides?" Lupatrice walked up to Eternatus and used Conqueror's roar. A spear hit Eternatus' hand, giving Mewtwo the chance to escape.
"Let me have a duel with that man." Lupatrice said as she saw towards Eternatus.
"Huh? Do you know that thing?" Akira asked.
"The man is Alcides, my master. He used to be a trainer just like you. I used to be a Lycanroc. Or ancestor species of the Pokemon that we call Lycanroc. But that day, everything changed when we performed that ritual. We had to give one of our life to revive our friend, Lucario. But Alcides interrupted and gave his own. But that thing said, 'Huh? Just taking your life won't be fun. I won't take your life. But rather, your pride and sanity. You will be sent into eternal suffering. Are you okay? Descendent of Azure emperor?' Our master agreed to that. That deal made him into a monster. Lucario turned into Zamazenta. Karero {Ancient form which used to be physical and later evolved to fight off poison types] turned into Zacian. And I turned into Lupatrice that you are seeing currently. They were the names our master gave us. Now once again, I must see this man killed. Isn't destiny just cruel."
"Yes, I agree. It's just cruel. But can't you see this? So many people fighting to overcome the cruel destiny. Let's fight together against that thing." Lupatrice's eyes widened. "Noivern, Draco Meteor. Rotom, shadow ball barrage." Both the attacks were destroyed by a swing of Eternatus' hand. Lupatrice's conqueror's roar, created a spear as big as mountain, throwing it towards Eternatus. But the giant Pokemon casually destroyed the mountain. Thousand green spears that were shot from the ground, and a solar storm was used by Vlam.
On the other hand, Blazarous attacked Alakazam, who barely blocked the attack.
"In its dual form where it is not restricted to a single type, it can materialize into energy. In that form, even you can't catch it." Basil was pressurizing Alakazam. Even a single hit would be dangerous.
Blazarous made its move, but...
[Mirror coat] Alakazam created multiple mirror coat's which reflected Blazarous into a prison that Alakazam made.
[Barrier Prison] Blazarous was trapped in a prison of barriers. But Alakazam wasn't able to move either.
*Explosion* Mewtwo's body got crushed from the attack.
"It is impossible. There has to be a way... but I can't find any blind spots." Just then, Mewtwo thought... "The dark energy!" If only it could absorb the dark energy, it would have a chance.
_ "Ugh... This thing..." Issac was barely holding that even with Gengar merging its shadow with Issac. Any normal human would have been ripped off by now, but Gengar was taking the damage through causality manipulation. But even then, Issac's body was being ripped off without pain. They were fighting as a team.
"Hey, you want some help?" Issac heard a familiar voice.
_ Mewtwo was trying to gather the dark energy both, in its surrounding and remains of that energy in itself. The colour of the psychic Pokemon turned pitch black. It didn't even recognize allies or enemies, but rather, used a large dark orb on Eternatus. Surprisingly, Eternatus was damaged. Mewtwo continued its attacks, pushing back the gigantic Pokemon. Noivern keeping Eternatus' senses off was very useful. The giant Pokemon raised its hand, and with a swing, it caught Mewtwo off guard. The real target was the barrier prison Blazarous was trapped in. The barriers were completely destroyed.
"Heh, did you think, you kids stood a chance? Since the beginning, I was the one who planned all these events. Blazarous finish it."
In 0.001 second, Blazarous was before Alakazam who dodged the fangs.
0.00001 second, another attack had come, forcing Alakazam to teleport and barely dodge the attack. Alakazam failed to even maintain 5 meters of distance.
0.00000015 second. Blazarous' fangs almost tore of Alakazam, who teleported at the last 100 Nano seconds, dodging the attack. Alakazam was teleporting purely on instinct. Its own nervous system was unable to catch up to the teleporting speed. Only reason Alakazam was able to teleport was due to Blazarous having to take a fraction second to materialize itself before attacking. Alakazam's body was bleeding, due to the usage of psychic energy every Nano second. Teleportation vs Light speed.
On the other battle field, Mewtwo was attacking as if it lost its mind. Both physical and special attacks. As the hand descended on Mewtwo, something else stopped that.
"You dare look down on me, Hoopa?" Hoopa used its portals to bring down over 4000 nuclear bombs.
"Oh my god" None of them could have believed that something like that was happening before their eyes.
"Did you think that's it?" Hoopa added its psychic energy to accelerate the attack.
[Primordial Power: Never ending storm]
"This is no longer problem for humans. It is a threat for the entire world."
[Primordial Power: Birth of the new Star]
"At least now you are at our side."
Both Ho-Oh and Lugia joined the battle
[Ra Form: Solar storm]
"This is Exhilarating!" Vlam joined too.
[Beyond Complete: Thousand arrows]
"Are you guys trying to send the continent to its stone ages?"
[Darkness Overdrive]
"Gyaaaaaah" Mewtwo roared
[Conqueror's roar: Meteor rain]
"Let end this once and for all." Lupatrice had used the land of the entire city, and formed multiple meteors, each nearly as big as a mountain. "Like Zamazenta and Zacian used sword and shield, I use bow and arrow. The stones are my arrows and I am the bow."
It grew horns which each looked like a bow. "The sacred relics which we had gotten in the ancient city grant us incredible power."
Eternatus concentrated all its energy, creating a beam that clashed with other with others. It had energy comparable to all of them combined.
"Horus, protect everybody! Regigigas and Karero, create a barrier. Kel, you too!" As Gueron ordered, all of their attacks hit.
*Explosion*
Even though the entire city was evacuated, the power could have vaporized entirety of Kalos within a second. Zygarde wasn't kidding when it said that the explosion would bring the continent to its stone ages. But for some reason, the shock wave was contained.
No, rather, the cause and effect of the shockwave was manipulated and removed from the world.
"No way. That boy did it?" Gueron was surprised. Issac was able to suppress the philosopher's stone. There was a lot of smoke coming out of the machine..
"Issac!" Akira ran towards the smoke.
"That boy, gave his life for us. He will be remembered in the history for his sacrifice." Gueron said as he walked towards the machine.
"Cut the b*ll. He is standing right here." Gueron was shocked. Issac was lying on the ground with his bones broken, muscles torn and detached ligments tendons. He was in a near death situation and Espeon was barely keeping him alive with 'wish'. But even then, to survive such an energy burst of such a huge amount of energy?
"That guy..." Issac spoke lightly. "I don't understand him...huff, huff... Viola, he just walked into the barrier even after I warned him. In the very second he went through the barrier, he died hundreds of thousands of times. His body was melted and he was in intense pain. But he walked through the barrier with a smile... [Heavy breathing] And he pushed me out of the barrier {Only coming in hurts}, taking the philosopher stones' energy burst... I didn't experience it myself, but, it felt as if big bang amount of heat was released. The barrier was able to contain the energy burst as it destroys anything that touches it other than the owner. And in the last second, he pushed the machine out of the barrier to save the three mythical pokemon. It seemed as if he was immortal. He is probably... probably vaporized to a subatomic level."
"And at the same time he neutralized the energy from their clash?
"Ugh..." The crimson haired man bit his tongue. "Hah, doing that may have prevented mass genocide and the merging of two world, but this is too late. Eternatus will destroy the Ignisdrill, and free us."
"What do you mean?" Akira asked.
"If you keep travelling on this path, you will understand the truth. But I wonder, how long you will walk in the path to the truth."
At the same time, Alakazam was being pressurized by Blazarous.
*Bite*
Alakazam calculated every single possible way Blazarous could have attacked. And it found only one way to win, sacrificing an arm to crunch. [Thunder] Alakazam was waiting for this opportunity where it can restrain the opponent with psychic. And now that the opponent lost the ability to move, Alakazam struck it with thunder. "Kazaaam". The psychic Pokemon put all its energy into making a spoon out of just psychic energy and particles.
*Strike*
Alakazam put all its energy into this one attack, finishing off Blazarous.
On the other hand, all the legendary Pokemon were exhausted. It seemed as if Eternatus had infinite energy. The portal of the other world was being closed.
But Mewtwo recklessly continued the attacks even when its body was in a terribly damaged state.
"Mewtwo! Stop fighting right now!" Blaine who just arrived called Mewtwo. Mewtwo got up and tried to attack Eternatus again, but this time, Blaine caught it's arm. "Stop it."
"Gaaah" Mewtwo tried to attack Blaine, but failed to. It caught its own head.
"So, you are fighting that thing while also fighting yourself. Isn't that unfair?"
_ Accept me. Because once you do, I shall grant you the greatest of the powers. So join me, Mewtwo.
"Who are you?"
I am you. Your desire. While I am also not you? Can you really call me something? I am the ghost of the dark stone.
"Where am I? What do you mean you are me? You don't look like me. No, rather, you look like nothing... Yet you look like everything. I don't know how to say this but...Oblivion. Why am I here?"
Like I said, you shall get all your answers. Join me. You are trapped. Powerless. The only thing you can do is join me. Your desire was to end humanity right? Yes, I am that desire. I can give you the power to end humanity. No, you can be the one above all.
"Shut up and let me out! What do you know about me? End humanity? I guess I had such goal once upon a time. But now? Get lost." Mewtwo tried to attack that 'thing'. But Mewtwo's fist was blocked by that 'thing'. But even scarier was the fact that it just used a finger. Or can that even be called a finger? It whispered in Mewtwo's ear.
Hypocrite
Suddenly, Mewtwo continued to try to punch it, but the figure was blocking all of them.
This is a world where there are no particles. Psychic power cannot be used. We are in a void. A void in which I am the rule. You are nothing more than an infant.
"Why are you doing this?"
Like I said, I am your deepest desire. Your real body is fighting mindlessly, so that it can accomplish the goal that I gave it. Kill that thing. That is what you want, right? You have traveled through hundreds of places. All the evil that you have seen... Ask yourself, have you really forgotten your hatred? Greedy, selfish, arrogant, envious, lustful, wrathful, lazy. Humanity is a sin. AN error of god. And you want to erase that. The hatred has kept growing. And now it has borne a fruit. So, you can end this hatred once and for all. Join me, I will give you the power. A... Λάθος [láthos].
"Shut up, shut up, shut up!"
Huh? That old man is disturbing us, let me kill him. No, let US kill him.
Mewtwo caught that 'thing'. "If you are my desire... you wouldn't wish for that. Now, I understand your true nature. You are the personification of negativity. Personification of the dark stone. Yes, I still hate humans. But there are some people who have shown me there is a path which leads to hope."
Hahahahahaha. I have never before heard such a joke. Humans changed you? A machine made for battle? Yes, I am negativity. But that does not change the fact that you can do nothing but watch, if I kill that man.
"Mewtwo! Snap out of this!" Blaine slapped Mewtwo's body. "Are you really getting controlled? Since that day that you fought Deoxys, you told me that you wanted to be someone others can look up to. A hero just like Red. Someone that saves people from the cycle of hatred. Don't let the madness control you."
'Shut up old man. You're embarrassing me...'
Who does the man think he is? Let me get rid of him.
But Mewtwo stopped it. "I get it. The nature of the world. The crystals of light and dark, Zygarde, Vlam and Ignisdrill. I get it all. The truth I mean."
A creepy smile formed on that 'things' face. Since the beginning, this was the first time it had a shape and form. It looked just like Mewtwo. But it was rather filled dark mass of chaos and hatred. The place started shaking.
Huh? It seems like, the moment the man touched you, your cells are killing the dark cells. You both have a connection, don't you? I can no longer exist in this body. But that does not matter. Remember this. That your world won't be the same. You will come back seeking the power in the moment of despair. After all, once you gaze into an abyss, the abyss will gaze back into you.
As the 'thing' walked away, Mewtwo saw a greater evil. A mass of hatred. People begging for salvation.
"Yes, humanity bears sins. We all do. But, remember this. Not everything is white and black. Negativity will only bring more of its kind. I will not return to you. And I want to make sure that no one does."
The thing disappeared on its own. But Mewtwo was still covered in dark energy.
"Blaine... I am sorry." Mewetwo said as it turned towards Eternatus.
"I have limited time before the energy runs off. I know you tried to stop me, but that thing is too dangerous to leave. We need to force it back into the hole."
"Yes, brother. Let's fight together."
Eternatus' hand struck on Blaine and Mewtwo. But suddenly the hand was being pushed back.
"X form"
Mewtwo was able to use both dark energy and mega evolution at the same time. The psychic Pokemon then jumped towards the giant hand, matching the foe's strength. But Mewtwo was still pushed back. "Its size is a problem. Y form, dodge the attacks." Mewtwo dodged the Eternabeam in an incredible speed.
[Dark orb: Double strike] Two giant orbs of energy were launched on Eternatus, dealing the first critical damage. Eternatus continued using Eternabeam, destroying everything. But...
"It is moving in near Blazarous' speed level. Possibly higher." The viewers were stunned. Even Legendary Pokemon had hard time to catch up with Mewtwo's speed. "Now, attack!" Mewtwo transformed into X form and clashed with Eternatus who was able to react with its own punch.
For few moments, everything went silent. It seemed as if the world was distorted. Their clash bent the space-time itself.
"Mewtwo, we need to finish it quickly. Y form, push it back into the portal."
[Max Ooze]
A spoon was formed in Mewtwo's hand.
[Ultimate Psychic; Vortex of Doom]
The poison attack was overpowered. But the large hand came towards Mewtwo. Eternatus was forcing its way through the Vortex. Due to using such a huge amount of energy, Mewtwo was unable to move.
A hand touched Mewtwo's shoulder. It was Alakazam. Alakazam was trying to stop Eternatus. "Thank you, for listening to my plea. Now let's fight against that thing together." Alakazam forcibly stopped the bleeding.
"I apologise for my rudeness too. This is do or die. Let's go!" Even with its trainer unconscious Alakazam forcibly borrowed power from Mega stone, and mega evolved.
[Eternabeam]
The attack was shot towards the psychic Pokemon.
The both used their combined Power to overpower the Eternabeam. But even that wasn't enough. They were being pushed back. The dark energy disappeared from Mewtwo's body.
"I am sorry. But I will borrow all of your energy!"
A light surrounded Mewtwo. Hundreds of particles touched it.
"Does it really think it can absorb energy from the entire region?" Basil thought.
Mewtwo was surrounded with light. It had absorbed energy from the battlefield.
"Amazing." Everyone thought. Its power kept growing.
"Heh. The one who sees everything as equal. Right now, it is one with the water, air and the land. Everyone is part of it. Good and bad alike. The one who bears no hatred. Becoming one with everything huh..." Gueron sat down. "Maybe there is a chance to avoid destiny."
[Y form; Dark matter sphere] Mewtwo combined that with dark energy, creating enormous amount of 'other worldly' power. The attack tore through Eternatus' attack, pushing the opponent back into the portal to other world. Mewtwo fell down, losing its consciousness. "You have done well, brother" The feat that was thought to be impossible had been done.
"Basil Phoenix, you are surrounded. You have the right to remain silent." Gueron confronted that man.
"Heh, don't even act like you can arrest me." Basil brought back Blazarous.
'Who does he think he is?' Akira thought.
"After all, the moment you lay a finger on me, you declare war against Quasar. Especially since I have allied with Azure." Basil saw in Gueron's eyes. "Feel free to attack me." Just like that the man walked away. After all, he was the prince of Quasar.
"And it seems like our little friend Alakazam is trying to teleport out of here." Gueron said as he looked at Alakazam. Before anyone made a move to stop it, Gueron continued,
"Well, let it be. After all, those aren't the eyes of vengeance." 'Today I have witnessed the impossible. These people have defied the destiny.' Gueron thought.
The long battle was over. Akira took Issac to Hospital. His injuries were too severe.
Samuel went to an unknown place. The cult of Azoth was disbanded and under the orders of Gueron {who heard the plea of Issac}, they were not arrested. [Other than the people who had actual crime record]
Sahara and Aron were missing. Gueron said that Masseraph had sent Sahara to a different world and that he will search for her possible locations.

In a different battlefield,
"Laaaax" Snorlax tried to attack but Dralzen dodged it. At the beginning, Dralzen was caught off guard and let its ego get better of it. But now, it started out manoeuvring Snorlax.
"Outrage" Dralzen was attacking Snorlax every time the foe got in a vulnerable position. Rest sleep talk strategy didn't go well either.
"I guess, I have to use it..." Red throwed something on Snorlax's arm.
"I am sorry, Lax. You will need to go berserk for a while." Snorlax liked that mushroom that Red gave. But even a bite had a terrible side effect. Snorlax goes into berserker state.
"Laaaaaax!" Snorlax punched Dralzen in stomach, before the opponent ever realized.
"Maintain your distance!" Aron ordered. But Snorlax rushed towards Dralzen and...
"You fell in the trap." Dralzen sent its tail through the ground, which came from behind Snorlax, catching the sloth Pokemon by its neck.
"You sure you aren't the one who fell in the trap?" Snorlax caught Dralzen's tail, swinging it towards the ground, and beating Dralzen like a rag doll. Snorlax swung the dragon towards, the ground, the trees and the rocks. Snorlax's physical boost was far beyond what anyone could have thought. So much that Red was regretting using the mushroom. Especially since his Pokemon was both attacking Dralzen, and also itself.
*Lift*
Dralzen lifted Snorlax with its tail.
"Such incredible strength..." Red was surprised. Dralzen put all its strength in lifting Snorlax.
*Throw*
Dralzen throwed Snorlax with all its strength. It then flew into sky, making sure that the opponent will not be able to hit it. "La-aax. Snorlaaax!" Snorlax lifted large boulder, thrice its size, and launched it towards Dralzen who was in the sky. Surprisingly, Snorlax was strong enough put more than enough force to reach Dralzen.
"Zen?" Dralzen was hit by the boulder and fell to the ground. As Snorlax rushed towards the Dragon, the boulder was thrown towards it. Dralzen showed the same amount of strength as Snorlax.
"Zeeeen!" The dragon was flying around Snorlax in an incredible speed.
"Power whip, barrage" Dralzen was using Power whip from different sides while also maintaining the distance. Even though every wound was shallow one, Snorlax was unable to take back the initiative.
*hit*hit*hit*hit*
It was like being hit by a whip multiple times with no way to defend yourself.
*Bite*
"Don't!" Red ordered. But Snorlax took another bite and consumed the mushroom as a whole. This was basically a Belly drum.
"Snoooor" Snorlax caught Dralzen's power whip with amazing precision.
*Slam* Snorlax was now on an unstoppable rampage. It went into a roll out formation, rushing towards Dralzen who dodged the attacks. But more it dodged, the faster and stronger Snorlax got due to Roll out's nature.
Dralzen used Giga Impact to counter Roll out, knocking them both off.
"Zeeen!" Zen wasn't even able to move for some time.
"Laaax!" Snorlax's nerves were visible. It continued with a barrage of Ice punches, which Dralzen dodged.
"Restrain it with Power whip." It caught the foe with its tail and tried to restrain Lax, but...
"Gyaaaah!" Snorlax roar was enough to flinch Dralzen. It then jumped, high enough to be eye to eye with Dralzen. Its ice punch went through the thick fur, launching the dragon to the ground, and using body slam.
"Zeeeen!" Dralzen used Outrage right on abdomen and ribs of the falling Pokemon, critically wounding it. But at the same time, Dralzen was crushed under the weight of Snorlax who was falling from such a height.
Both of them fell. And none of them got back on their feet. A double knock out.
"Lax!" Red came near his Snorlax to treat it, while Aron just brought back his Dralzen.
"Damn it! Can't you at least treat the Pokemon that fought for you?"
"Looks like the battle near the mansion is over. Let's finish ours."
"Shut up! I am leaving. I can no longer fight a scum like you. I would rather avoid any useless violence."
"I thought you wanted to arrest me?"
"Yes, I want to arrest you, crush you, embarrass you. But I don't want to dis honour the struggles of your Pokemon. They don't deserve a master like you. They deserve a much better one."
"Heh, honour and pride in battle. What a joke. I will take my leave for now." Aron walked away.
"You sure trust me to not attack your back? Where could you even go? You will be an outcast."
But Aron did not reply. He disappeared along with the wind.

"You seem to be lost, lady." A rainbow haired girl said with the purest smile.
"Who are you? Where is this? Last thing I remember is... that angel like thing teleported me somewhere." Sahara was puzzled.
"You are at the end of the rainbow, the place where dreams come true. I am Saphira" The girl who was around her height, gave Sahara handshake. Only then did she observe. That girl had deep red eyes. Just like Samuel's. She flinched, looking at those eyes. 'It felt as if time stopped.' That was how Alder described Azoth's leader. Sahara felt the same feeling.
"Now, explain to me, why is that you were in that rift of space time that I found? If not for Suicune, you would have died." She seemed so different. As she was walking, the plants were growing, pokemon were even more energetic.
