September 25th, Friday night,
"pisică" Harry said, the gargoyles parted to let Harry through to the Headmistresses office.
"What can I do for you, Mr. Potter?" Minerva McGonagall asked, not looking up from her work.
"I was hoping to leave the castle this weekend, but I need your permission."
"Leaving in addition to your Sunday dinners with the Weasleys?" she asked, finally looking up.
"Yes. I have a, er, date. And I'd like to go somewhere that we won't be seen in the Daily Prophet the next morning."
McGonagall looked him up and down, "hm, yes, I suppose you and Ms. Weasley may go. Be back by curfew."
She looked up when Harry didn't leave the office.
"Is there something else?" she inquired.
"Uh." Harry rubbed the back of his neck, then rubbed his hands together, "It's not a date with Ginny, Headmistress."
"Then who in this castle will you be taking out?"
"Do I have to tell you?" Harry asked nervously.
"If you are taking one of my students from the castle, you absolutely must tell me."
Harry chewed the inside of his cheek, "It's Draco Malfoy," He said carefully.
Minerva McGonagall took off her glasses and stared at the man that stood before her, "you have a date with Draco Malfoy? I thought you were seeing Ms. Weasley?"
This was very awkward, "I was seeing Ginny, but not anymore. Can I take Draco?" Harry asked, dying to get out of that office.
She pursed her lips and nodded, "back by curfew, no exceptions." she reminded him.
"Yes, of course." he left the office smiling from ear to ear. He had a real, legitimate date with Draco Malfoy.
"Minnie, if I were alive, you'd owe me five galleons."
"Shut it, Albus."
