"I AM HERE!" All Might shouted at the class. "And the reason for that is your basic hero training! As an immediate follow-up to your internships, today's activity is a playful one. A RESCUE-TRAINING RACE!"

Iida's hand instantly flew up. "Shouldn't rescue training be conducted at USJ?!"

"Good question, Young Iida. But that place is for disaster rescues in particular. But what did I say earlier? That's right…a race!"

'A race, huh?' Izuku thought to himself. 'Time to test my training with Endeavor and another one of Mei's great inventions.'

"THIS IS FIELD GAMMA!" All Might exclaimed, presenting the field to the class. "It's a dense spread of factories that wind together to create an intricate network of maze-like alleys! You'll split into four teams of five, with each team going one at a time. I'll send up a distress signal from somewhere inside, and you will all start at the border. It's a race to see who can reach AND rescue me first!" All Might then pointed his finger at Katsuki multiple times. "Naturally, keep the destruction of property to a minimum."

The first group which consisted of Izuku, Ojiro, Iida, Ashido, and Sero stepped up. The class was quick to start making bets when the contestants were announced. Many of them stating how much of a disadvantage Izuku was at.

"Midoriya is at a clear disadvantage," Jiro spoke to Momo. "He may be pretty strong for someone without a quirk, but the others have a way better chance of winning this."

"You're right," Momo responded. "Sero is pretty much made for a situation like this. From the little I've seen, an overhead approach seems to be the best way to accomplish victory. Ojiro and Iida also have quirks that give them an edge over Midoriya."

"What about Mina?"

"Whatever she may lack in mobility is made up for tenfold with flexibility."

"Guess we'll just have to wait and see."

Izuku, unbeknownst to the class, was hearing all of this. 'They don't have to believe in me. It makes it so much more satisfying when I exceed all expectations.'

'You're starting to enjoy the feeling of proving other people wrong, aren't you?'

'Can you blame me? They make it so easy when the only reason they think I can't win is because of my quirkless state. If some of them actually payed more attention, they would know I have a grappling hook.'

'Get ready. There's the countdown.'

A robotic voiced shouted 'start' and the five shot off in their own unique ways. Iida activated his Recipro Burst and sprinted as fast as possible, Ojiro propelled himself with his tail and kept shooting forward using it, Mina was shooting acid in front of herself and using it to skate across the ground, and Sero shot his tape and traversed the faux city overhead. As for Izuku, he bolted into an alleyway and disappeared from the view of the cameras.

"Whatever Midoriya is up to won't help him catch up to Sero," Kirishima pointed out. The camera which caught view of Sero proved him right. Sero was traversing overhead, and he was moving much faster than everyone else. "See! In a cramped place like this, overhead's the way to go!"

"That may be true," Ochako jumped in. She pointed at a camera that caught view of Izuku. "but look at him." Most of the class gawked at what the quirkless boy was pulling off. He was grappling at speeds that rivaled Sero's tape and pulling off parkour moves that made him look like a pro.

"What the hell," Shoto muttered.

Ochako heard what the half-and-half user whispered and decided to be a little nosy. "Something wrong, Todoroki?"

"Don't those moves seem a little familiar to anyone else?" The class turned their attention back to the screen and some of them caught on a little faster than others. "That's right. He's moving almost identically to the way the Hero Killer did."

Izuku chuckled to himself as he looked back and saw Sero. 'That interning in Hosu was perfect for this. Hosu was a big place with a great deal of space between each building. Field Gamma is like child's play compared to the real deal.'

'Don't forget about the tweaks Mei made. Impact softeners in the boots, made to reduce damage taken from use, but still hurt like hell when kicking someone.'

'Oh please. I'd never take credit for Mei's great inventions. And besides,' Izuku grappled over to another building, vaulted the guard rail, and landed in front of All Might. 'we're already here.' Izuku walked over to All Might who was bound by ropes and cut them.

"YOUNG MIDORIYA WINS!" yelled All Might.

Sero landed on the roof a couple of seconds later with a face of shock. "Who would've thought? The grappling hook to increase mobility, but the parkour was even more unexpected."

Izuku let out a chuckle before answering. "Just a little something I thought would help my mobility. Looks like I was right."

The others who participated in the exercise joined the first two on the roof moments later. All Might then extended his congratulations to all of them, despite the placements of some. "Young Midoriya may have taken first place, but you've all figured out new and better ways to use your quirks and abilities since starting school! Keep up the good work as you prepare for your final exams!"

"Right. Finals are soon." Izuku looked over to All Might who was about to take a leap back to the starting place. "But first, something more important." Before All Might could leap away, the voice of Izuku stopped him. "All Might, wait up!"

The Number One Hero turned around with a look of slight confusion on his face. "Need something, Young Midoriya?"

"Yeah, we need to talk. It's about the League of Villains."

All Might's face changed into a serious, understanding one. "All right. Meet me in the faculty room after class."

"So the Hero Killer, huh?" a shrunken All Might asked. "That must have been quite the confrontation."

"Surprisingly we all made it out in one piece," a slightly nervous Izuku spoke. "But would you believe me if I told you that wasn't the scariest part of last week?"

"I do find that hard to believe." All Might grabbed the cup of tea sitting on the table and examined it for a moment. After rotating the cup a couple of times, the lanky man finally took a sip. "A run-in with the Hero Killer is hard to match up to. The League of Villains you say?"

"More specifically, Shigaraki and the mist guy. I heard Shigaraki refer to him as 'Kurogiri'."

"Ah, yes. The two who invaded the USJ and gave orders to the Nomu I was fighting."

"Yeah, those two. Luckily, they weren't there to harm me, but they were there for something that was arguably worse."

"And what would that be?" a slightly confused All Might questioned. He placed the tea cup that he was sipping from down on the table. "What could be worse than them trying to kill you?"

"Trying to recruit me." It was a good thing All Might had set his cup down, because he immediately sprang forward in shock and began coughing up a lung. Izuku jumped over to the wheezing man and begin to pat his back.

"Sorry, sorry. Of all the things you could have told me, that was definitely one of the unexpected things." The skeletal man wiped the remaining blood of off his mouth with his handkerchief. "Listen, Young Midoriya. It's not that I don't believe you, but are you one hundred percent sure?"

"I'm absolutely positive. When I encountered him the second time, he said something along the lines of, 'Come willingly, it's what 'sensei' wants'. And that was after my run-in with the Hero Killer. After he removed my mask and paralyzed me, we had a little conversation. He said something about a voice coming through a laptop. He also said that they made a point to drop my name in the conversation."

All Might's fist slammed into the table, somewhat startling Izuku. "Damn it! This has to be the work of All For One. No one else is smart and calculating enough to do something like this." The scraggly man stood up from his seat and bowed. "Thank you for the information, Young Midoriya. I'll inform Principal Nezu and Police Chief Naomasa Tsukauchi of this development immediately. It should also go without saying to keep this knowledge between us."

"Of course, All Might," Izuku responded.

The Number One Hero looked down at his watch and back to Izuku. "You'd better hurry back. You've got thirty seconds before you're late to class."

"Crap, you're right!" Izuku shot off towards Class 1-A, but was stopped by All Might's voice.

"Young Midoriya…stay safe." The green-haired boy simply nodded and continued on his way back to class. 'What is All For One's fascination with this boy? There should be no interest since he's quirkless…unless.'

"So, Class, summer break is fast approaching." The bored homeroom teacher rubbed his eyes and opened a book, continuing the speech. "Of course, it would be completely irrational for all of you to take a whole month off. So to combat this, you'll be doing summer training camp in the woods."

The class instantly broke into a celebration, shouting things like, 'Truth or Dare', 'Fireworks', and 'Curry'. They were quickly silenced when Aizawa flared his quirk and glared with his red eyes.

"HOWEVER, anyone who doesn't pass the upcoming final exams is in for summer school hell!"

"Let's begin your practical exam," Aizawa spoke to the class. "It is, of course, possible to fail this exam. If you want to attend the training camp, then don't mess this up."

"Sure are a lot of teachers here," Jiro whispered to Hagakure.

"You're right," the invisible girl whispered back. "Five…six…eight of 'em."

"Knowing you guys, you probably asked, and you might think you have a vague idea of how this'll go."

The two bottom placers of the Final Exam exclaimed thinking they knew.

"It's a robot rumble, like the entrance exam!" Kaminari shouted in excitement.

"FIREWORKS! CURRY! TRUTH OR DARE!" yelled Mina, who was pumping her fists.

Principal Nezu immediately emerged from Aizawa's scarf to crush their dreams. "Not quite! Various circumstances have demanded a revision to the exam format!" The chimera slid down the erasure hero's scarf to specify the revisions. "From now on, we'll focus on battles against flesh-and-blood opponents. It is critical that our teaching simulates practical experience as closely as possible. As such, you students will be pairing up and fighting one of the teachers you see here!"

'Oh no,' Izuku thought to himself. 'I've got a bad feeling about this. UA never holds back when it comes to their education.'

"Your pairing and assigned teachers have already been decided," the principal continued. "Your battle moves, your grades, your friendships with one another, or lack thereof, were all factors in deciding who you'd be placed with and against. So without further ado, the first pairing."

Aizawa jumped in to continue where Nezu left off. "Midoriya…you're with Bakugo." A long silence fell upon the class as the two who were called processed the information. Aizawa let it sink in before revealing their opponent. "And you two will be up against…"

"ME!" Everyone looked up to see All Might smash down in front of the two with a very menacing look on his face. "You'll have to work together to win, so come at me, you two!"

"The rest of the pairings are as follows. Ojiro and Uraraka versus Snipe, Kirishima and Yaoyorozu versus Ectoplasm, Sato and Kaminari versus Cementoss, Mineta and Iida versus Midnight, Aoyama and Shoji versus Thirteen, Koda and Hagakure versus Power Loader, Ashido and Sero versus Principal Nezu, Jiro and Tokoyami versus Mic, and finally, Todoroki and Asui versus myself. You'll load the bus and be dropped out at your separate destinations. Good luck."

"Fight?" Izuku questioned. "How is a quirkless person with a hot-headed, uncooperative partner supposed to beat The Number One Hero?"

A vein visibly popped on Katsuki's neck as he swung his head in Izuku's direction. "Hot-headed?! Watch what you say, nerd, or I'll be the one you're fighting!"

"Is that so, asshole?!"

"Yeah! That is so!"

The two were about to charge at each other before All Might loudly coughed into his fist to gain their attention. "Now, now, boys. You two are supposed to be working together to fight ME, not each other. You didn't even let me explain the rules before pouncing at each other." The two boys stared each other down for a few more seconds before looking away and muttering a 'hmph'. "The time limit is thirty minutes. Your objective is to either get these handcuffs on me or have one of you escape from the stage!"

"So it's either fight to win or run to win." Izuku stated.

"YES!" All Might shouted. "Your decision-making is also being tested!" All Might reached behind him and pulled weights out of seemingly nowhere. "Given the rules and circumstances, you're probably thinking running is the only option. That's why we had the Support Course make these! Ultra compressed weights! This handicap weighs me down with a whole extra fifty percent of my body weight! They were created solely with the purpose to slow movement and reduce stamina!"

'Those are, without a doubt, created by Mei.'

'Yeah, I remember her trying to force me to wear those things. I couldn't even stand when I put them on the first time. They must be the updated version.'

"Trying to bring this fight down to our level or something?" a slightly pissed of Katsuki asked. "That's insulting."

"HAHAHA! We'll see!"

"STOP FOLLOWING ME!" Katsuki screeched at Izuku. "I'M GONNA BEAT HIM DOWN! NOTHING MORE, NOTHING LESS!"

"Listen to me, jackass," Izuku quickly responded. "If we want the highest chance of victory, we have to avoid battle at all costs."

"Shut your mouth, Deku! I'm going to destroy All Might, and I'm going to win, with or without you!"

"If that's your idea of a plan, then you're just asking to get steamrolled. Handicaps or not, there's no feasible way that you're beating him!"

Izuku barely had time to block as Katsuki's right arm swung around and collided with his own. "Stop talking. You're nothing more than a bug who doesn't deserve to be here."

Izuku's face dropped as the words came out of Katsuki's mouth. Before the quirkless boy could respond, he quickly lost control. "Nothing more than a bug, huh?" Faster than the explosive teen was ready for, Izuku placed his left leg in front of Katsuki's and swiped back. He then followed that up by pushing the blonde's head into the ground, still holding his right arm, putting him in a situation where he needed to use his quirk to get out. "If a bug could do this, I wonder what that makes you." The taken over teen released the louder one and backed up a few steps. "Careful, Katsuki. If you keep falling like that, you might catch some injuries before the fight even starts."

The aggressive blond picked himself up and glared daggers at the other boy. "Who the hell do you think you are? YOU'RE NOTHING MORE THAN A QUI-"

Katsuki was cut off as a tornado sized blast of wind knocked them over and destroyed the surrounding buildings. "Who cares about keeping this town intact?" A very evil-looking All Might questioned. "If you think of this as just a test, you're gonna a baaad time. I'm a villain, heroes. So give me your best shot."

Katsuki and All Might blasted towards each other as Izuku stood there half in control. 'I can't move! I'm half paralyzed from the intimidation and I'm half paralyzed because of you!"

'Don't go blaming me! I can't do anything either!'

'Wait…you mean?'

'Yeah, neither of us are in control.'

Despite these claims, Izuku's body began moving anyway.

'You, liar! You are in control!'

'I swear I'm not. If I was, I be doing the sensible thing by running away!'

After slamming Katsuki on the ground, All Might directed his attention towards Izuku. "There's also you, Young Midoriya. You gonna leave your teammate and make a break for it?" But to All Might's surprise, Izuku took out his escrima sticks and rushed at him. "Not what I expected, but I'll finish this quickly."

All Might lunged at Izuku with his arms spread wide, ready to bear hug the boy to death. With speed to rival the lunge, Izuku ducked under the giant arms, struck All Might in his weak spot with one of his escrima, and activated the shock mode.

All Might, who coughed up some blood in the process, jumped back and grabbed his wound. When he heard the sound of a grapple go off, he looked up to see both boys gone. But All Might wasn't fully focused on the fact the boys were gone. "Something's not right here. Young Midoriya should not have been able to move that fast."

Izuku landed on a nearby building and quickly dropped Katsuki's body off of his shoulder. The blonde stirred from his unconsciousness and bolted upright. "What the? Where's All Might? I didn't get finished beating him into next week!"

Izuku gained control of his body and fell to the ground on all fours, panting for breath. "What…the hell just happened?"

Katsuki stared at Izuku in confusion and annoyance. He walked over to the green-haired boy and grabbed him by the collar. "I didn't need your help, Deku. I'd rather lose than be saved by you."

Izuku's face was immediately replaced by one of anger as he slapped Katsuki's hands away. "If that's really how you feel, asshole, be my guest. It's not my grade on the line. But when All Might pummels you into the ground, don't come attacking me 'cause you failed."

"I wasn't plannin' on it!" The explosive blond blasted off of the building in search of All Might, yelling, "Come face me, coward!" Izuku just shook his head and pinched the bridge of his nose.

'You should probably head for the exit. Both members don't have to be there in order to receive a passing grade. Katsuki will only keep All Might busy for maybe a minute, but it should be long enough to make it.'

'Good idea. I'll make it there on foot to avoid alerting All Might, just in case he's waiting for us at the exit.' The quirkless boy traversed the buildings, eventually making his way to the exit. He was definitely surprised to see the All Might was not there. 'Good. I can make it through with no trouble.' Izuku slid down the wall of the building and made his way to the exit. Right before he made it through, All Might slammed down behind him, grabbed his arm, and threw him into a Katsuki who was shooting towards the exit as well.

"What the hell, Deku! Stay out of my way!"

"You think it was my choice to get thrown?! If it was up to me, I'd be through the exit already!"

All Might interrupted yet another argument with incredible speed. He appeared behind the two boys and snickered as they frantically looked around for him. Their attention was gained when he let out a hearty laugh. "HAHAHA!" The two turned around to attack, but were floored with speed to fast to be seen. He had Izuku on the ground, stomach down with a foot on his back and Katsuki dangling by one arm. "How disappointing, you two. Working together was just ONE of the prerequisites for the exam, and you two couldn't even manage to do that."

All Might was interrupted as Recovery Girl's voice came through a loud speaker. "This is an announcement. The first team to pass are…Ojiro and Uraraka."

"That's interesting. Two close combat users against a ranged quirk user. I'll have to hear about this later." All Might looked down to meet Katsuki in the eye. "Shall we announce you two as the first to fail?"

Katsuki struggled for a few more seconds before gritting his teeth. "LIKE HELL!" He raised his left hand and pulled the pin to his gauntlet with his teeth. "EAT SHIT, ALL MIGHT!" The Symbol of Piece was blasted away, giving Izuku and Katsuki and few moments to collect themselves. "Listen up, Deku, 'cause I'm only saying this once. It took actually fighting him to realize it, but we're not beating him. That speed is too much. Stamina and power too. We've got no chance against that pure, simple strength."

"What do you think I've been trying to tell you since the beginning?!" The quirkless boy responded. "He's too strong!"

"SHADDUP, I KNOW! IF YOU LET ME FINISH, YOU'D KNOW THAT I HAVE A PLAN!"

"OK THEN, GENIUS, ENLIGHTEN ME!"

"Well," Katsuki walks over and grabs Izuku by his collar again. "I'm gonna send you flying." The blond teen launched the quirkless one with an explosion powered throw, sending his barreling towards the exit.

'I just have to make it through. Should be ea-'

"NEW HAMPSHIRE…SMASH!" All Might emerged from the smoke and collided into Izuku's back, crashing the green-haired boy into the ground. His eyes fluttered for a couple of seconds before shutting for good. "Oops. Might have hit him too hard."

"Don't ignore me, All Might," Katsuki shouted while shooting towards the Number One Hero. His attack seemed worthless as All Might caught his hands, crushed his gauntlets, and slammed him on the ground.

"I'm impressed, Young Bakugo. You and Young Midoriya performed quite well despite making a terrible team. However, it wasn't enough. Sleep." The aggressive teen muttered something that All Might couldn't make out. It didn't matter though because he joined his teammate in a state of unconsciousness.

Izuku eventually came to in the infirmary of UA. He tried to lift himself up, but he found that he didn't have the energy necessary. He eventually settled for just lying there until Recovery Girl returned from where ever she was. He was glad to see the old lady open the door soon after he woke up.

"Ah," the old lady began. "So you've finally awoken. That's one of you at least." Izuku looked over and what he saw confirmed his thoughts. Katsuki was there too, but hadn't woken up yet. "If you're wondering, you two have been out for about an hour. You've also missed the results of the other students."

"If you don't mind," Izuku started. "can you fill me in on what I've missed?"

"Well…"

"Eep!" A bullet flew by Ochako's arm when she peaked from behind the pillar she was hiding behind.

"We can't keep this up," Ojiro whispered to her. "He's keeping us at a distance so we can't engage him. That's probably why they paired us up together."

"No kiddin'." Another bullet landed by where her foot previously was. "We're both close combat users against a more experienced long distance user. There's not a lot we can do."

"Unless…"

"I guess it's about time I end this," Snipe spoke. As he started walking closer, he saw Ochako and Ojiro break apart and run in two different directions. "What in tarnation? They're splittin' up so I'm either forced to pay attention to one, or split my attention between two different locations…pretty good. Too bad I'm a duel wielder."

"OVER HERE, SENSEI!" Ojiro shot fifteen feet in the air, calling the teacher's attention.

"I don't remember him being able to jump that high!" He aimed his pistols up in the air, ready to fire.

"NOW, URARAKA!"

Snipe turned his head to see the brunette emerge from behind one of the other pillars. "RELEASE!"

The teacher had no choice but to try and focus his attention on both of them at the same time. However, it proved fruitless as the two students struck from two different sides, attacking the teacher with multiple strikes and cuffing him on the ground. The two martial artists gave each other a well-deserved high-five.

Shoji and Aoyama were holding on to a railing for dear life as Thirteen walked closer with her quirk active. "My quirk allows me to absorb anything I want," she stated while still getting closer. Aoyama didn't believe her and shot light beams out of the pads on his knees. "Even light."

"This isn't good," Shoji stated. "She has us trapped."

"That she does," the blonde responded. "My twinkles keep getting absorbed!"

"That only leaves one thing." The octopus man took a deep breath, then let go of the railing. On instinct, Thirteen immediately closed the hole in her suit to keep from killing a student. Shoji, taking advantage of this, tackled the teacher with amazing strength, subduing both arms.

Aoyama soon followed up by blasting over with the cuffs in his hands. "Need an extra hand?"

"How are we supposed to make it out if he keeps destroying the floor?!" a slightly angry Toru screamed. Koda moved his hands in what the invisible teammate could only assume was his attempt at communication. Another section of the ground fell out in front of them as they kept running. "You think you can get us some backup?" He quickly began shaking his head, signaling 'no'. "Crap."

More holes began exploding in the ground, leaving almost no room to run around, let alone escape. Koda may not have been able to see the worry on his teammate's face, but he could definitely hear it in her voice. Wanting to pass the exam and help his teammate pass inspired him to do something he didn't think he'd ever be able to do. The boy hit the ground and quickly began to speak to all bugs and insects in his range. "Please help me out. The bad man is destroying your homes and making noise. Please put a stop to him."

On que, Power Loader emerged from the ground and stood at the exit. "You two just gonna run? You can't win if you don't at le-" The teacher's attention was quickly called to something else as bugs began climbing up his body and throughout his entire suit, biting and chewing wires and skin left and right. The teacher hit the ground and struggled to pull himself up. When he was able to lift his head, a pair of floating handcuffs were staring him in the face. "Hmph. Well done."

"She's blocking the exit," Iida spoke to his partner. "Her gas is there too, so I can't even run past her either. What do you think, Mineta?" A moment of silence passed and Iida received nothing in response. "Mineta?" The class president turned his head and was only slightly surprised at the sight before him. The grape-headed pervert balling his eyes out.

"HOW IS THIS SUPPOSED TO BE FAIR?! EVERYONE ELSE IS PASSING AND I GET SUCH A HARD TEST?! WHY?! I'M FIGHTING MIDNIGHT, AND SHE WON'T EVEN LET ME COP A FEEL?!"

Iida reeled back in shock, quickly recovered, and immediately began scolding his partner. "Mineta! We are in the middle of an exam and you are thinking such erotic thoughts?! As class president, it's my job to put an end to such behavior and make sure everyone is on their best behavior."

"That's easy for you to say! My quirk isn't made for combative fights like this! All my balls can do is stick to stuff!" He pulled off one of his grapes and stuck it to a rock as an example. "See?!"

"Mineta…that's perfect."

"See?! I knew you'd say something like that! My quirk is terr- wait, what?!"

"All we have to do is lure Midnight away from the exit! You can distract and subdue her with your quirk. After that, depending on the situation, I'll either help you and subdue her or make a break for the exit."

"Wait…you're using me as bait?" the short boy asked.

"Not bait," the taller boy quickly responded. "I'd say more of a tactical distraction."

"Ok. Let's do this." Mineta stopped using the rock as cover and began making his way over to Midnight."

"Well, well, well, Grape Juice," Midnight spoke in a sultry tone. "Took you long enough. Where's your partner?"

"I'm the one you're fighting!"

"Fighting? I didn't notice. You keep backing up and your aim is way off."

"Exactly what I was going for." A grin spread of the small boy's face. "NOW, IIDA!"

The speedster emerged from behind his rock and began sprinting towards the exit. "RECIPRO…BURST!"

"Not so fast!" Midnight slung her arm back and was about to thwart Iida's attempt to escape. When she couldn't pull her arm forward, she turned her head and noticed her whip absolutely covered with purple balls. "That was unexpected."

Before the teacher could attempt anything else, Iida was able to make it through the gate.

"Sero, get us out of here!" Mina shouted to her partner. "You can grapple to stuff can't you?!"

"Not in this situation!" Sero yelled back to her. "He destroyed everything that I could've attached to! What about you?! You have acid don't you?! Burn some stuff!"

"I can't! There's too much stuff, and it would take forever!"

Up in the control room, a maniacal Nezu was having the time of his life. "These two appear to be stumped. I can sip tea while casually obstructing their view and blocking the ways out! HAHAHA!"

"HEYYYYY!" Present Mic exclaimed in the direction of the two students. "WHAT'S TAKING Y'ALL SO LONG?!"

Jiro was still covering her ears while Dark Shadow covered the ears of Tokoyami. The girl released a sigh as the yelling momentarily stopped. "If this keeps up, my ears will burst."

"Oh yeah," the bird-man spoke. "Your quirk boosts your hearing, so you're really suffering."

Jiro took her hands off of her ears to point at Dark Shadow. "Can't you send him up ahead?"

Tokoyami simply shook his head in response. "Unfortunately, Dark Shadow can't go that far. Even if he could, the farther away he gets, the weaker he is."

"Oh." Another ear-piercing screech came as the two covered their ears yet again. "Wait a minute. What if you tried covering your body with him?"

"That's…actually pretty smart. I've never tried that before." Tokoyami took a moment to focus his attention on his quirk. After a couple of seconds, Dark Shadow slowly spread across his body.

"Nice job, dude! Now you just have to test it." Another shriek spread through the forest that made its way over to the duo. After it faded away, Jiro questioned her partner. "How was that?"

A smile spread on the bird-man's face. "It didn't block all the sound, but it was enough."

Jiro returned the smile with one of her own. "Onward, my trusty shield!"

"I can't believe these two still aren't here," Mic muttered to himself. "Let's give them some extra motivation." The teacher put his fist to his mouth and cleared his throat. "HEY! WHAT'S TAK-"

The loud-mouth was cut off as Tokoyami slammed into him, running at full speed. Before the teacher could recover from the impact, Jiro hopped off of Tokoyami's back and cuffed the teacher.

"Can you help me out here?!" Sato not so politely asked Kaminari. "These walls aren't going to break down themselves."

"I would help if I could," the nervous blonde replied. "But physical strength isn't really my thing."

"Well shock him or something! I can't do this by…myself."

"I can't shock him either! I'm a close range shocker! If I activate it now, it won't reach him and will shock you instead. Also, I'll turn into a worthless teammate too. Can't short circuit my brain just yet." Sato's punches began to slow down and his words started to slur. "Uhhh, Sato?"

"Too tired. Sleep time." The taller teammate ended his assault, fell to the ground, and began napping.

"Crud."

"A little help over here, Yaomomo?" Kirishima questioned. "It's getting a little tough to keep fighting these guys off."

"Sorry, Kirishima," the girl quickly said. "I can't come up with a plan when they keep coming out of nowhere." She swiped at another clone that dodged her sword. "They're faster than they look too."

"You just need to come up with a plan?" Kirishima broke through the horde of clones that were ganging up on Momo. "You're a lot smarter than I am, so let me be your shield! A shield that never breaks!"

A few stray tears leaked out of her eyes. She quickly wiped them away as her brain started coming up with ways to win the battle.

A few minutes later, Momo and Kirishima stood over the handcuffed Ectoplasm. "How did you break through my numbers?"

Kirishima crashed his fists into each other, activating his quirk. "I told her I'd be her unbreakable shield! A true hero stays true to his word!"

Momo let out a simple chuckle. "He ran through the crowd as I followed close behind. During that moment, I created enough flashbangs to blind all of your clones and us. As you probably saw, he and I were already wearing earmuffs before our rush. The only thing I had to create after that was something to shield our eyes. Luckily, as humans, we have a built in device to stop the 'flash' part of the flashbangs. Eyelids."

"I'm impressed," the teacher spoke. "Aizawa told me that you struggled in situations where you don't have time to think. In this exam you were put against a teacher who could exploit your weakness. You passing this exam means that you have overcome your weakness."

"Hell yeah!" Kirishima shouted. "We did it, right, Yaomomo?! Yaomomo?" The red-haired boy turned to see the taller girl wiping away a couple of tears. "Whoa, whoa, you okay?"

"I'm fine. I'm just so happy!"

"That was kind of surprising," Aizawa spoke to Todoroki. He currently had the half-and-half user strung up by his bindings on a light post. "When you told Asui to run, I wasn't expecting her to do it, but I was able to get you anyway."

"This won't hold me, Sensei," Todoroki gritted out. "I can break out of this easily."

"Maybe." The erasure hero reached into his pocket and pulled out a handful of objects. The objects were revealed to be caltrops that he used to litter the ground under Todoroki with. "It won't be a soft landing when you do break out. Now I'm going to find your partner." And with that, the teacher took off in the direction of the frog-girl.

The moment the teacher was out of sight, the dual-quirk user immediately began struggling with the bindings. By the time he managed to get back safely, Aizawa had returned with Asui in another pair of bindings. "You managed to get down, but that doesn't matter. I just have to get you again, and I win. You can't send any big attacks in this direction because I have your teammate. What will you do, Todoroki?"

Ice began appearing on one side of his body as fire engulfed the other side. "Fight, obviously." Todoroki and Asui had talked before the fight began. It wasn't exactly part of the plan, but each of them could only escape one time, and Todoroki had used his one time. What he had to do now was distract Aizawa until she broke free, and from the looks of it, she was working her way out now.

"Eyes over here." Todoroki barely managed to dodge to the side as he felt his quirk get sapped away and a scarf was sent flying his way. Before he could even think about where to dodge next, Aizawa's weapon wrapped around his arm and pulled him closer. Aizawa met the boy with a punch in the gut. "You two did well, but not well enough."

"Don't count me out yet, ribbit," Asui said. She hopped over and double kicked Aizawa in the gut.

Aizawa used his skill and experience to land on his feet, but he still held his stomach in pain. "How in the?"

"Sorry, Sensei," Todoroki interrupted. "But we have an exam to win." Aizawa's eyes were still on cool down after canceling out Todoroki's quirk, so he could only back up as a massive wall of ice shot up in-between him and the examinees. By the time he made it around the gigantic wall of ice, the two had already made it through the gate.

"So two other teams failed?" Izuku asked.

"That's right," the old lady responded. She walked over to a table and grabbed a bottle. After popping out two gummies, she handed them to Izuku. "Take these and head on back home. You should be good for today."

Izuku hopped off of the bed and stretched a bit. "I can only guess the words Katsuki and I will hear when we show up to class tomorrow."
