Chapter 20 : The Formlings' Princess
Side Note : Happy 20th Chapter, Longest story so far, and you may be curious of the title, this next Chapter will be centered around Eric and Alex. . . also, this may or may not be the last chapter for a little while, for Computer reasons, and I'll try to keep working on these Chapters, but when they get added to the story may take longer than usual.
ItsYoGreenGirl : Fair enough, though sometimes I will say that Jay can be the most annoying Ninja, I feel a bit weird when you chose to have him be Liv's best friend, I mean I know Jay is best friends with Cole as well, but it seems like Jay can never stop getting on people's nerves, especially Mine, and while she was mostly around Seasons 8-9, if Harumi makes any appearances in another story if you write one, then I would definitely read it. . . anyways, Regardless over who it is, or what they might have done, Eric doesn't leave anybody behind, and you're right when Alex will pull through now that she knows Eric is okay, and with Akita in quarantine now also, that's gonna inspire Alex even more to stop the cause of the problem, and save her Mother. . . and sooner or later once the rest of the kids find out, they'll do the same, just to see Eric again. . . and I can see why Xavier and Hazel could have been the Favorites of that Chapter, definitely did a reference to the ending of Season 3 there. Also, like I said, if possible, I would probably get an inspiration or idea to use Liv in these times, so tell me what you think about that, it's okay if it's a yes or no, I had gotten Inspirations for these stories from The Young Ninjas, I don't see how I couldn't have gotten an inspiration for Liv from It Takes Two.
Previously on The Plague and The Pirates : The Young Ninjas arrive at Rubble Grove, when Charlie finds the Security Cameras and sees the dungeons were broken out of, and it was Eric breaking, Hazel, Captain Holden, and Alex out of there, and he had Captain Holden take Alex to the Hospital, and help them remove the bomb from her stomach, while Eric brings Hazel's drives to Cyrus Borg so he could fix her, and he does so, and Siddie has Opal and Nurse Rachet removed the Plague Disease from Xavier, and he heads to Borg Tower, While Eric has Landon and Harmony come with him to The Formlings' Kingdom for him to warn Queen Akita about The Plague Doctor, and he gets himself a new weapon in the process, when Akita tells, Zach, Clayton, and Via that even if she dies, she loves them, and will always be a part of them, before Clayton apologizes for his violence, and hugs his mother, and the Formlings leave, just as a Dr. Arthur Sanders appears, and Eric kills him to save Queen Akita, before Landon and Harmony take her back to the Hospital, and Xavier arrives at Borg Tower to see that Cyrus Borg rebuilt his girlfriend, as Samurai X 3.0, and Xavier tells Hazel, they will always be compatible. . .

September 14th, 8:35 a.m., Fort Lexington.
Eric arrived at Fort Lexington about an hour ago, and was waiting for Landon and Harmony, since they now knew Eric was alive, and so did Captain Holden and Averill.
Averill was already there, and was currently at Camp 494, which Paul put him in Command of, so Eric was just leaving the Fort to meet Averill at his post.
Just then, Eric's phone went off, and it was Alex.
Eric : Hello?
Princess Alex : I couldn't really tell from how much pain I was in, but what I saw was true Eric. . . you are alive.
Eric : I was the whole time Alex. . . that Venom sent me into a coma, it didn't kill me.
Princess Alex : I heard about The Formlings' Kingdom last night.
Eric : Yea, why they were after your mother is beyond me.
Princess Alex : Thank you for saving her though, I've almost fully recovered, and when I do, I'm definitely coming straight to you.
Eric : I'm at Fort Lexington right now, Via's apparently helping Siddie and Charlie find the keys to the doors in the Insidious Cave, and Zach is searching for The Oni's Maps.
Princess Alex : The Manuscript. . .
Eric : What?
Princess Alex : Those maps are contained in The Oni's Manuscript, it shows the location of all the Oni Masks, where and when in each realm.
Eric : Do you know who has it?
Princess Alex : Frederick Maul. . . one of the Plague Doctor's Generals, that's how he found The Oni Mask of Fear at the Museum.
Eric : Okay, I'll get on that and start tracking him soon. . . I really miss you Alex.
Princess Alex : I miss you too Eric, yesterday wasn't really reuniting, I could barely keep my eyes open, or even breathe.
Eric : Well you're okay now, when you get the chance, come to Fort Lexington again Alex, I really want to see you.
Princess Alex : The second Opal tells me that I'm going to be cleared, I'm out of here.
Eric : Good, and remember don't say a word about me still walking this realm.
Princess Alex : I won't, I promise.
Eric : Alright, I'll see you then, I love you Alex.
Princess Alex : I love you too, Eric.
Eric ended the call, and continued walking towards Camp 494.
Meanwhile at the Ninjago City Hospital.
Clayton, Via, and Zach were upset with that happened to their Mother, because they were at their home with her just a half hour before it happened, and while Alex hasn't fully been cleared, they let her downstairs with her siblings, but Nina seemed to notice that Alex didn't seem to be upset anymore.
Alex was smiling and humming, while she sat next to Brenden and Zach, and she was playing a game with her 2DS XL, and Zach was playing with his 3DS XL
Princess Alex : Rolled another 5, beat that Zach.
Prince Zach : It's not fair, why are you the Video Game expert?
Princess Alex : When it comes to Party or life sized Board Game types, It's my thing.
Prince Zach : I thought the Minigames were your thing.
Princess Alex : That too.
Nina walked over to Alex and sat down next to her.
Nina : You okay Alex?
Princess Alex : Yea, I'm alright. . . my Gut still hurts a bit, but I'm recovering.
Nina : I meant are you okay with your Mourning?
Princess Alex : Yes, It still hurts, and I was gonna say I still have my brothers and sister, but Eric was the only brother you had, but at least you still have your Cousins, and the rest of us.
Nina : Yea, that's fair. . . it just seems like you aren't upset at all right now.
Princess Alex : I'm just trying to hide it and look on the bright side.
Nina : Out of all boards, you choose Frostown?
Princess Alex : You can't blame me for liking the Snow.
Nina : Fair enough.
Brenden : Sweetie, what are you playing anyways?
Princess Alex : You know those games where it's like locations turned into a giant game board?
Brenden : Yes, played them several times.
Princess Alex : That's what this is, and I've seen people say they're developing a sequel to Prime Empire. . .
Nina and Jay : Oh boy. . .
Princess Alex : Figured that response would come out. . . what I like about this game, is that there is a Spirit living in each location, and some of them look partly see through, and have amazing snowflake patterns.
Nina : Interesting. . . I'm guessing you like the Cold?
Princess Alex : Sometimes yes, sometimes no, I guess it depends.
Nina : Okay, but where's Xavier?
Prince Zach : He's outside with his parents.
Outside the Hospital. . .
Xavier had his parents outside with him, and he was talking about when Cyrus Borg repaired Hazel yesterday.
Xavier : Then there was this Purple, Silver, and Gold light coming from the Factory. . . I went down there, and the Factory was rebuilding Hazel.
Pixal : Really?
Xavier : Yes, she said she wanted to be a better part of the team if the others would accept her, same way you did, Mother.
Zane : Where is she then?
Hazel : Right here.
The Nindroids looked down to the bottom of the small staircase, and saw a girl wearing the Samurai X armor that Pixal wore when Borg rebuilt her, only difference was the armor was secondary color was Amethyst, instead of Blue.
The Nindroid removed her Helmet, and they saw it was Hazel, and it seemed interesting to Pixal and Zane that her eyes were Purple.
Xavier : Grandfather rebuilt Hazel so she could be the next Samurai X.
Pixal : Well, from the looks of it, my father certainly did a good job.
Zane and Pixal looked at Hazel, and she smiled at them, and they did the same back.
Hazel : At least now I know your son and I are compatible.
Xavier walked down the stairs, and kissed Hazel, she returned the kiss, and hugged him, and Pixal and Zane smiled at the moment.
Xavier : So what do you guys think?
Pixal : Impressed, I know Hazel will do well as the next Samurai X.
Hazel : Thank you Mrs. Borg, maybe sometime you could show me more about the suit, or building vehicles for the others, since you did that for your friends.
Pixal : It'd be my Pleasure, Hazel.
Hazel smiled at Pixal, before her phone went off.
Xavier : You gonna get that?
Hazel : One sec. . . Hello?
Captain Holden : Hazel, it's Captain Holden, Averill needs you at Camp 494, were gonna move in on our next plan, you copy?
Hazel : Affirmative Captain, I'm on my way to Fort Lexington, Hazel out.
Hazel ended the call and looked at Xavier.
Xavier : Gotta run?
Hazel : Yes, but I'll be back.
Xavier : Alright, see you soon Hazel.
Hazel : Bye, Xavier.
Hazel waved goodbye, and ran off to heard towards Fort Lexington. . . but how, The Nindroids had no clue.
5 Minutes Later, inside the Quarantine Room. . .
The kids were watching TV, and playing with their portable video games, and Akita was talking to Lucas about what was going on during their time in the Realm of the Rivers.
Queen Akita : So he had the Commodore cornered at the top of hill, and only had one round left, as the Commodore was pointing his gun towards Averill's head.
Lucas : What happened last?
Queen Akita : He pulled the trigger once he had a clear shot, and the bullet hit the Commodore's right side, and just as Averill went towards the flag pole, your Father grabbed The Commodore and held him up to make the Commodore face him, he said our win was lucky, and then your Father gave his personal catchphrase.
Lucas : I make my own luck?
Queen Akita : Yes, and he then threw Commodore Reginald over the edge of the hillside, and he fell about 6 stories into the Rivers, and that's how we took The Green Mountain.
Lucas : Cool.
Just after a few Minutes, a breaking news broadcast had covered the show the kids were watching, and it was The Plague Doctor. . .
Gayle : This is Gayle Gossip reporting Live from the Market District of Ninjago City, as what appears to be evil Doctors and Nurses raiding the stores. . .
Felicia : Weren't they the guys we fought a few days ago?
Lucas : Yea, they were.
Just then Rachet and Opal came back inside.
Felicia : Nurse Rachet, are my friends and my brother still out there?
Nurse Rachet : Yes, Felicia.
Felicia : We need to talk to them now.
Nurse Rachet : Lancaster, go get them.
Opal : Yes, Nurse Rachet.
Opal went to get the kids, and they were directly outside the Quarantine Room.
Charlie : What is it, Sis?
Felicia : The Plague Doctor's back at it in the Market District, you guys need to go and get him.
Clayton : Well then let's take it to him.
Queen Akita : Clayton. . .
Clayton : Yea, Mom?
Queen Akita : I know I had told you this yesterday, but even so, I wanted to say that I'm sorry I wasn't giving you any attention, and I love you. . .
Clayton : I love you too. . . and I'll be back.
Princess Alex : I haven't been fully cleared yet guys, so I'm sitting this one out.
Prince Zach : We'll see you when we get back then little sis.
Princess Lydia : Let's Go.
The Young Ninjas leave the Hospital and head for the Market District where The Plague Doctor's Minions are, Cole and a few of the others went also, to make sure they don't all get infected. . .
Meanwhile, at Camp 494. . .
Eric was reinforcing defenses with Averill, and Hazel had just walked up the hill.
Hazel : Hi, Eric.
Eric looked over, and saw Hazel walking towards him.
Eric : Hey, Samurai X.
Hazel giggled at what Eric had said, and the two of them seem to be good friends since they saved each other's lives.
Hazel : You doing okay?
Eric : Yea, I'll feel better once Alex is here.
Averill : Alex is coming?
Eric : She already knew, so once she's cleared from the Hospital, her and the cute Light Blue, and Royal Yellow robes are coming straight to Fort Lexington.
Averill : Very nice. . . I saw Brenden sent me a picture of Alex wearing her robes, she makes those look good, seems like takes after Akita and Nya's styles, when it comes to that sort of thing.
Eric : True, and when it comes to her normal clothing, she seems to go to Empress Harumi, and Lydia.
Averill : Can't blame her, the Royal Family has taste when it comes to clothing.
Eric : The Formlings' are considered a Royal Family now also, even if Zach and Alex are the only royals stated in the Prophecy.
Averill : Alright.
Eric : I can't wait to see Alex again though, almost as if my whole life is a jigsaw puzzle, and she's the last piece, can't feel complete without her.
Eric smiled, thinking about his best moments with Alex. . .
Meanwhile at the Hospital.
Nurse Rachet and Opal walked over to Alex, who just stopped playing her game.
Nurse Rachet : Well, Injuries are taken care of, no more bombs, and no trace of the Plague Doctor's horrible disease, so you're all good, Alex.
Princess Alex : Awesome.
Opal : And here, your mother held onto this for you.
Opal gave Alex her Ninja suit, and Alex used her Spinjitzu to put it on, and she was wearing her robes once again.
Princess Alex : That's more like it.
Alex walked over to the window, and saw Akita in there.
Princess Alex : Hi, Mommy.
Akita looked up, and saw Alex smiling at her, and she saw her daughter was wearing her robes again.
Queen Akita : Hey, Sweetheart.
Princess Alex : Are you okay?
Queen Akita : I'm not sure yet, It matters on if your friends can find a cure for this thing, and soon.
Princess Alex : Is it wrong for me to go help them?
Queen Akita : I would say that for now Sweetheart, you just healed from the last time, and I don't want you getting sick.
Princess Alex : Okay.
Alex nodded and walked away, and so did Opal and Nurse Rachet, but what they didn't see, was Alex walking outside the hospital, pulling on her hood, and using her elemental dragon. . .
Meanwhile, at the Market District.
The Plague Doctor's Minions were just exiting a huge store with supplies before the kids got off their dragons and pulled out their weapons.
Charlie : Freeze!
Dr. Maul : Well, well, well, If it isn't the Young Ninjas, I wonder how two of them are doing.
Nina : Felicia and Lucas are in the hospital away from you.
Nurse Payne : No silly girl, we meant your brother and his girlfriend.
Prince Zach : Eric and Alex, why?
Dr. Maul : You kids still don't know. . . don't want to spoil the surprise.
Dr. Rogers : Get them, and use the Dart Guns if you have to!
They pulled out their Dart Guns, which had darts contaminated with the virus, and started shooting. . .
Clayton : Look out!
The kids then charged at the Doctors and Nurses, and began attacking, while Cole and Nya were dealing with Dr. Maul.
Dr. Maul : Your daughter will be ours. . .
Cole : So what if you do take her, Siddie never quits, and she sure as heck won't succumb to your virus, or your rule!
Dr. Maul : If you say so. . .
Nya : I would listen to Cole if I were you.
Dr. Maul : You heard what I said before right, not only do I wonder how Alex is doing, but I wonder how Eric is doing right now as well.
Nya : What are you talking about?
Dr. Maul : Question Hazel and Captain Holden, and then you will get the answers you seek!
They fired their Dart Guns once again, and shot Richard, Zach, Lydia and Via.
Their helicopter then came down, and the Doctors and Nurses grabbed hold of the Rope Ladders, and started flying away.
Dr. Maul : And give our regards to the rest of the Young Ninjas!
Nina : How do they know?
Siddie : Daddy, call Mommy right now, they got hit!
Cole : I'm on it.
Cole called Opal and Nurse Rachet, and told them at Richard, Zach, Lydia and Via were hit the virus, and they brought the ambulances to come and get them.
25 Minutes Later, at the Hospital.
Richard, Zach, Lydia, and Via were put in Quarantine with Felicia, Akita, and Lucas, but Akita is more concerned about Alex.
Prince Zach : Sickest, day, ever.
Richard : And not the good kind of sick.
Siddie : As long as you stay in there for the Meantime. . . and Mommy, how are they?
Opal : They seem to be doing better, since their fevers have gone down, and the rashes are gone.
Felicia : So can we leave now?
Nurse Rachet : Not just yet, Felicia.
Opal : This is good news though, we're getting somewhere.
Nurse Rachet : Lancaster, keep checking their symptoms, and refill the IV bags when you get a chance, I'll be right back.
Opal : Of course, Nurse Rachet.
After about 5 Minutes, Zach had remembered what they were talking about.
Prince Zach : So anyways, they knew we were sick?
Siddie : Yea, it seemed weird.
Felicia : But that doesn't make any sense.
Opal : Horses not Zebras, Felicia.
Everybody looked at Opal, and Cole smiled at her.
Cole : My girl and her medical terms.
Opal : I heard that.
Cole : I know, that's why I said it.
Lucas : What does that term mean?
Opal : It means instead of thinking hard, to think of the likeliest possibility.
Queen Akita : Those are actually wise words.
Opal : Thank you. . . and go on, pretend I'm not here.
Felicia : Okay, so let's thing, first Lydia and Alex went to the Museum and Alex was Captured, we then went to Rubble Grove, and we learn about Dr. Rogers, who is more idiotically known as The Plague Doctor.
Via : Saying he wants to take over Ninjago, and use the smallest weapon to do it.
Richard : Then mentioned, Occam's Razor, whatever that is.
Opal : Another medical term.
Lucas : What does it mean?
Opal : The simplest answer is often the easiest.
Siddie : So The Plague Doctor, wants to rule all of Ninjago, and he's using a small weapon to do it, because the smallest weapon is the deadliest. . .
Lydia then sneezed, and kept trying to blow her nose.
Princess Lydia : Man, this thing is killing me.
Empress Harumi : Sweetie, are you okay?
Princess Lydia : Sure, though Okay isn't the right word to use.
Siddie : That's it!
Felicia : What's it?
Siddie : My Mommy and Daddy were right, The Plague Doctor's the reason your sick and that's his plan, attempting to cover Ninjago with a fatal virus.
Kai : Again?
Nya : If he completes it this time, that would be bad.
Brenden : Yea, but the kids caused some damage to their Base when they were there, and we didn't let them get away with all of those supplies, so it'll be a while.
Just then Nurse Rachet came back and she seemed to be concerned.
Nurse Rachet : Okay, no clue how to tell you this, but it's gonna be shocking.
Nina : What is it?
Nurse Rachet : Well, we all thought Alex was gonna be okay, but now we've lost her.
Queen Akita : What?!
Nurse Rachet : Sorry your Highness, she's not dead, just missing.
Akita gave a sigh of relief, and so did her sons, and her niece.
Princess Lydia : Where did she go?
Nurse Rachet : I don't know, she's gone, almost as if she left the Hospital after you guys did.
Prince Zach : But we didn't see her anywhere in the Market District.
Clayton : Then where the heck is she?
Just then, Nurse Rachet checked her phone and saw it was 8pm.
Nurse Rachet : Visiting Hours are now over for the day, so you guys need to leave.
Empress Harumi : Very well, but don't let anything bad happen to the kids.
Opal : We'll try our best Harumi, and Sweetie, I'm gonna stay here and make sure your friends are alright, so just go with daddy.
Siddie : Okay, Mommy.
Cole then grabbed Siddie and carried her in his arms, and they left the Hospital, and had no other choices but to head home. . .
But they were curious, Where was Alex?
Meanwhile at Camp 494. . .
Eric spotted more ships heading towards the Harbor and warned Averill, and he was on his ship with Romolus in case they started to Open Fire, while Eric was at the top of the hill at Camp 494, to fire the Cannons to prevent the ships from reaching the city.
Just about an hour before, since for now, Nobody else could know that Eric was alive, Averill talked with Paul, and had Eric join the Resistance, whether it was Temporary or not, since Eric might as well be helping them defend Fort Lexington from the Pirates, since not all of them were part of Nadakhan's Crew.
Eric : See anything?
Averill : No, no signs of them engaging, or opening fire, it's weird, almost as if they aren't sailing in, but they are sailing closer.
Eric : Maybe they're trying to sail around another location.
Romolus : Where would they go?
Eric : Well since the other half of the realm is mostly livable now, since almost all the pits of Dark Matter are gone.
Averill : Except for that Gigantic one in the middle of the Island.
Eric : Yea, but since everything requires balance, you guys don't really have a choice but to leave it there.
Romolus : Anyways, where could they be going?
Eric : There's Camp Corozal, Mysteriosa. . .
Averill : Mount Canyon.
Captain Holden : The Black Ridge.
Eric : The Old Growth Forest, Old Normandy, which is the oldest village in this place that's still inhabited, then there's North Trinity, which is the village near the Plantation, but other than that, I have no clue where they could be going.
Harmony : Should we just come back up to Camp 494?
Eric : Yes.
Just then, Eric noticed a weird Blue and Yellow light was slowly getting bigger and coming towards Fort Lexington. . .
Eric : What the heck?
After 3 Minutes, The others came back up to the hill.
Harmony : Also Eric, I heard about The Plague Doctor's most recent attack, Richard, Zach, Lydia, and Via are infected now too.
Eric : Darn it.
Landon : That and I was overlooking the Plague Doctor's last attack, almost seemed like they were trying to tell your mother and sister that you were still alive.
Eric : If they know what's good for them, they'll keep their mouths shut.
Just then Landon and Harmony noticed the huge blue and yellow light, and they saw who it was. . .
They made Eric face away from the light and talked to him.
Harmony : So, before this whole mess, how were things going with your girl?
Eric : Do you really have to keep mentioning Alex like that?
Landon : It was just a question Eric.
Eric : Okay, and it was going well, I don't see how it couldn't have been, I love Alex, the only problem is how many more villains keep coming up, and trying to take us all back down.
Romolus : I wouldn't worry about that Eric, considering what Everybody saw back there with Nadakhan, no Villains could equal your wrath.
Eric laughed at what Romolus had said, and smiled at him.
Eric : Thanks, Romolus.
Romolus : Anytime.
Just then, a dragon landed on the hill, directly behind Eric, and Landon and Harmony smiled.
Harmony : Well, this day is going to get even better Eric.
Eric : How?
Landon : Turn around and you'll see.
Eric turned around and saw who it was, and tears formed in his eyes as he smiled.
Princess Alex : Eric!
Eric : Alex!
Eric walked towards Alex, while she ran towards him, and the two tightly embraced each other, and tears formed in their eyes. . .
Princess Alex : I missed you. . .
Eric : I missed you too.
Alex wrapped her arms around Eric's neck, and kissed him on the lips, Eric returned the kiss, and hugged Alex, glad that his girlfriend was back.
Princess Alex : No more sacrificing yourself to defeat evil pirate genies alright?
Eric laughed, as he smiled at Alex with tears in both of their eyes.
Eric : I promise. . . and nothing could ever keep me from you.
Princess Alex : I love you Eric.
Eric : I love you too, Alex.
Eric and Alex kissed each other, and shared their romantic embrace. . .
Landon, Harmony, and the others walked back down the hill, so those two could have their moment alone.
After about one minute, the two of them parted from their kiss, and smiled at each other.
Princess Alex : I'm so glad you're okay.
Eric : Me too, though it's my sister and mother I'm worried about.
Princess Alex : Fair enough.
Eric : By the way, over the few weeks, how's The Formlings' Kingdom expansion going?
Princess Alex : Actually pretty well, focused on diving the kingdom into villages or districts I guess, and it's been going well, maybe sometimes when this is over I could show you.
Eric : I'd like that.
Just then, a huge explosion happened in the distance.
Princess Alex : What the heck?
Eric : That was Mount Canyon. . .
Princess Alex : Well then let's go.
Eric and Alex pulled on their hoods and began heading straight for Mount Canyon.
Eric also noticed Alex's robes, looked the same as her mother's from Season 10. ( like I said, no golden dragon on the suit like the Legacy Robes did, and the color is Light Blue, and the secondary color is Royal Yellow. )
Eric : You seem to take after my Mother's style when it comes to ninja suits, Alex.
Princess Alex : Nya has taste when it comes to this sort of thing, who can blame me?
Eric : Nobody, suits you well.
Princess Alex : Thanks, it's my favorite colors.
Eric : Let's just go.
Eric and Alex used their dragons and began flying towards Mount Canyon.
4 Hours Later, at the Hospital. . .
Opal was doing her rounds, and looked into the Quarantine Room, and saw the kids and Akita had taken a turn for the worst. . .
They started tossing, turning, burning up, rapidly sweating, and hallucinating.
Opal ran inside to see if the kids were alright, but because of their hallucinations, they didn't seem to be.
Via and Lucas were both seeing Acronix, Zach and Akita were seeing Vex, Richard was seeing Morro when he was evil, Felicia was seeing Clouse, and Lydia was seeing Garmadon.
Opal : Lydia?
Princess Lydia : No, No, Stay away from me!
Opal then paged Rachet and Pierce, and they both hurried to Opal and saw the kids were hallucinating.
Nurse Rachet : Doctor, the antivirals aren't working anymore.
Dr. Pierce : Can they hear us?
Prince Zach : Stay away from my mother, you frozen menace!
Opal : Their temperatures are way too high, it's making them hallucinate.
Nurse Rachet : Lancaster, get some ice bags, now.
Opal : I'm on it.
Nurse Rachet : Their vitals are skyrocketing, their pressure's high, rising temperatures and irregular breathing.
Dr. Pierce : What the heck is this virus?
Opal came back with the ice bags, and placed them over the kids' heads.
Opal : Doctor, what should we do?
Dr. Pierce : Let's try some stabilizers.
Because Dr. Pierce left the Mini-Camera from inside Xavier on a table near the front door, The Plague Doctor could still see what was happening.
Dr. Rogers : It's only a matter of time before the kids fall to my precious virus.
Just then there was a knock at the door.
Dr. Rogers : Come in.
One of the Nurses came in.
Nurse : Sir, Dr. Maul is ready to begin his attack on the other side of Ninjago, and Nurse Payne has informed us that the Ray Guns are finished.
Dr. Rogers then got onto the Intercom which was connected on every commset channel
Dr. Rogers : Well everyone, with the virus now fully complete, and the Ray Guns are finished, there's one thing left to do before we launch our second to final plan, Prepare an antidote.
Nurse 2 : Antidote, sir?
Dr. Rogers : Of course, we can't let the Young Ninjas get the idea to Infect one of us.
The Doctors and Nurses agreed, and got to work. . .
Meanwhile at the Hospital.
The Young Ninjas were given their stabilizers, and were now sleeping, and Akita was awake, looking at her sons and daughter, since she stop hallucinating.
Dr. Pierce : There, we'll see if that helps.
Nurse Rachet : It better, I'm not gonna let his Hospital go down in history as the hospital that let the Young Ninjas die.
Queen Akita : That's not going to really happen, right?
Dr. Pierce : Your Highness, we're gonna do everything we possibly can, but for now it's wait and see.
Nurse Rachet : Lancaster, stay with them, and try your best to keep your emotions under control.
Opal : I'll be able too, it's not like my daughter's been infected. . . not yet at least.
Dr. Pierce and Nurse Rachet left the room, and Opal watched over the kids.
Opal : Please be okay. . .
Queen Akita : Opal.
Opal : Yes, Akita?
Queen Akita : Have you found my daughter yet?
Opal : No, she just vanished, I don't know where she is. . .
Akita sat in silence, thinking about Alex. . .
Meanwhile at Mount Canyon. . .
Alex and Eric arrived, upon hearing an explosion coming from Mount Canyon only about 10 Minutes ago.
They landed their dragons and saw Mary and Paul near a huge crater, about 400 feet away from the village.
Eric : Mary, Paul!
The two looked over, and saw Eric and Alex.
Princess Alex : What the heck happened?
Paul : That ship over there in the distance opened fire, that's what happened.
Mary was using binoculars to try and see who was on the ship, and somebody caught her eye.
Mary : Eric, look at this!
Eric grabbed the Binoculars and saw who it was at the wheel of the ship.
Eric : Frederick Maul. . .
Princess Alex : The Plague Doctor's General?
Eric : Yep, and The Shining King is over there, Paul get word to Averill and Romolus, that general is coming down now.
Paul : On it.
Paul walked away to get word to Averill and Romolus, while Mary had the citizens leave so they wouldn't get infected, and Averill and Romolus left the ship anchored, and came to Mount Canyon, while Maul's Ship came closer to the shore.
Princess Alex : Got any ideas here Eric?
Eric : Not really, we're winging this, but whatever we do, kill Maul, and get those Maps.
Romolus : Sounds easy enough.
Averill : Then you have no clue what easy means, Old Friend.
Princess Alex : Can you both please pay attention.
Mary : The Princess told you.
Princess Alex : Zip it, Mary.
The ship docked, and The Plague Doctor's Minions came ashore, and so did Dr. Maul.
Dr. Maul : Not a single citizen to infect. . . a shame, bigger shame is that the one that every Young Ninjas misses, is the one standing right in front of me.
Eric : Say that again, and the only thing I'll be standing on, is your neck.
Dr. Maul : Very well. . . Charge!
The Plague Doctor's Minions began charging at Eric and the others, and they charged as well. . .
Eric : Where's the Oni's Maps, Frederick Maul?!
Dr. Maul : The only way you'll get them is over my dead body.
Eric : Good point.
Eric kicked the evil doctor, and ran to higher ground, and Alex continued attacking the Doctor.
Princess Alex : Which one of you was the one who infected my Mommy?!
Dr. Maul : Queen Akita had it coming towards her, what kind of squalor does she think she's leading, she's nothing but a furry freak, attempting to lead a new civilization of her own, built on top of blood and mystery.
Princess Alex : The only blood. on those grounds, would be from the scalped flesh of the innocents, that you take the lives of, one by one, just to prove that you should not be messed with.
Dr. Maul : Yes. . . and we will not fail!
Princess Alex : The Plague Doctor may not fail.
Eric : But you will!
What the others didn't realize, was that Landon and Harmony were hiding behind some trees, with their camera, and we're broadcasting the fight to the Young Ninja's homes, and they and their parents were watching.
Especially Jay, Nina, and Nya, but because of the camera's quality, and the training robes, they couldn't tell one of them was Eric.
Maul looked up, and Eric used a sharp vaccine needle and sent it into the back of Maul's Chest, hitting his heart.
He then tried to get to his knees and run, while holding a book in his other hand.
Eric reached under him, and broke Maul's grip on The Oni's Manuscript.
Eric : I'll take that, you virus dog.
Dr. Maul : No, you have no idea what you are doing, you young fools!
Eric : Keeping the people free from your control!
Dr. Maul : How free will you be, especially you Young Princess, when your people undermine these squabbling realms.
Princess Alex : These Realms, would be far better off, with you villains trying to pull the strings!
Dr. Maul : Ha ha, we bring order to all of your chaos. . . and if everything you and your fellow Young Ninja do is permitted, then nobody is safe.
Eric : That may be, but now this world has one less Plaguing Snake in it.
Eric then swung his leg, and kicked Maul's head, which put him down.
Eric : And that's enough for me.
Alex and Eric walked away, and once everybody saw that Maul was dead, The Plague Doctor's Minions surrendered, and Eric and Alex went towards the ship they used.
Just as the Broadcast ended, everybody was shocked.
Nina : Well at least we know where Alex went. . .
Nya : From the one in the Gunmetal Gray robes, to what Maul had told us before. . . something about this mess doesn't add up.
Jay : Nya, what do you mean?
Nya : Maul. . . he said something about Eric yesterday, we asked him why he was curious of how he was doing, and he said he was surprised we didn't know. . . it's making me have second thoughts.
Nina : Mom, you think Eric's alive?!
Nya : This isn't adding up, but since that right there just showed Paul, Averill, Romolus, and Mary, we know Alex is at Mount Canyon. . . so we need to find her and ask her if she knows anything.
Jay : That and what they stole from Maul. . . The Oni's Manuscript, it's worrying.
Nya : Yea, especially since we recently saw a blue Oni Mask, so we definitely need to find Alex and get some answers.
Nina : We can do that-
Just then, Nya's phone went off.
Nya : Hello?
Opal : Nya, we need you guys at the Hospital.
Nya : What's going on?
Opal : The kids are taking a turn for the worst, their vitals started spiking, and they were hallucinating a while ago, we need you here now.
Nya : Alright, we're coming.
Jay : Hospital?
Nya : Yep.
Nina : Let's go then.
Meanwhile, at Rubble Grove.
A Nurse just walked into The Plague Doctor's Office. . .
Nurse : Sir.
Dr. Rogers : What is it?
Nurse : We got word from one of our escaped men at Mount Canyon, Dr. Maul is dead, and the Formlings' Princess took the Manuscript.
Dr. Rogers : Darn it.
Just then, Rogers phone went off.
Dr. Rogers : Hello?
Person : You promised me, the Oni Masks.
Dr. Rogers : I know, and I'll find them.
Person : Not if you do not have the only key to their Location, if you do not bring that Princess down, and take back that Manuscript, then I won't have any other choices, but to end this little partnership.
Dr. Rogers : Understood.
Roger crushed his phone with a hammer that was on his deck, and groaned in anger.
Nurse : Let us know what we must do Sir, and we will make it so, the antidote is being worked on as we speak.
Dr. Rogers : Very well, now get out of my sight. . .
Meanwhile at Fort Lexington.
Averill, Romolus, Harmony, Landon, Alex, Mary, and Eric were on the brig that The Plague Doctor's Minions had used.
Eric : Saved the rest of those bad guys for you.
Mary : Very thoughtful.
Landon : Maybe you are not completely useless, Eric.
Eric : Maybe not, and speaking of useless, those blockheads won't need this vessel anymore.
Averill : This thing, if you want her Eric, then she's yours.
Eric took off his hood, and smiled and nodded at Averill.
Averill : Now bring me back to my ship.
Eric : Understood.
Eric grabbed the wheel, and they began sailing back towards The Shining King.
Averill : So, first Charlie had gotten himself a ship, and now his cousin has one.
Eric : I would say stop sounding surprised, but I feel like this is something to be surprised by, even if the ship isn't that big.
Harmony : It's roughly the same size as The Bounty, I can't see many huge problems with that.
Eric : Fair enough. . . and for some reason, since the ship is already Light Blue, and White, and since Alex isn't paying attention, I know what I'm naming this ship.
Mary : What?
Eric : The Formlings' Princess. . . reminds me of Alex, She and I have become Inseparable from one another, we have the most in common, most Insecurity, but above all else, I love her.
Romolus : I'm sure she does as well Eric, just as much.
Just then, they got sights on The Shining King, and there were Gunboats shooting at it.
Averill : My Ship, They'll sink her!
Romolus : Let's put The Formlings' Princess to the test, Eric!
Eric : Well man the Cannons then, we need to bring these ships down.
Just then Eric saw a Blue and Gold Mech flying towards them in the distance.
Harmony : There's some sort of Mech flying above, it seems to be taking out the Gunboats.
Mary : Who is it?!
Eric : It's just Hazel. . .
Landon : Really?
Eric : I took her drives to Cyrus Borg, and he rebuilt her, and now Hazel's the next Samurai X.
Captain Holden : Impressive, hopefully the others accept her.
Eric : I'm sure they will.
Averill : They're still tearing my ship to pieces!
Eric : Fire!
Landon, Harmony, Alex, and Mary fired the Cannons, and continued sinking the boats, and Hazel took care of the rest of them.
Hazel hit a button the Mech, and sent it flying back to Borg Tower, while she landed on Eric's Ship.
Averill : Seems like this ship is battle ready after all, Romolus and I will return to what's left of The Shining King, we have some repairs to do.
Eric : Understood.
Harmony : We'll head with them Eric, and we'll see you later.
Eric : Alright, see ya.
Landon, Harmony, Averill, and Romolus then head back to The Shining King, and Hazel lands on the ship and took off her Jetpack, and her Helmet.
Hazel : Hi Eric.
Eric : Hey Hazel.
Eric looked at Hazel, and saw her armor was Cerulean.
Eric : Not a huge fan of Purple?
Hazel : Not really, but it's my style, my choice, I guess.
Eric : Didn't expect you do that well straight off the bat Hazel, you're amazing.
Hazel : Thanks.
Eric : So, what did Xavier's Parents have to say?
Hazel : They were Impressed, and Pixal even said that she would show me more about the Samurai X Mech's abilities, or even helping design vehicles for you guys.
Eric : Cool, well I got myself a ship now also.
Hazel : Well that's another thing Charlie can't brag about anymore.
Eric, Alex, and Hazel all laughed at that joke, and they both stood beside Eric as he took the wheel.
Hazel : You aren't going to tell the others yet are you?
Princess Alex : Why not, I mean that was totally incredible, and seeing all of this-
Hazel had a worried look in her eyes, and it made Alex sigh.
Princess Alex : Of course we won't say anything.
Eric : Yea, In the Meantime, you and Alex seem like you two could both stop villains you come across, having the elements of Time and Surprise on our side.
Hazel then smiled nervously, as she looked at Eric, and fist bumped his shoulder.
Hazel : Girl Power.
Princess Alex : So where to now, Eric?
Eric : Would make sense to head back to Ninjago, and take a look at the Oni's Manuscript, wouldn't you agree.
Princess Alex : Wise words Eric, wise words. . .
Next Time on The Plague and The Pirates : Eric returns to Ninjago with Hazel and Alex, with hopes of locating the Oni Masks, with the Oni's Manuscript, before his friends, or The Plague Doctor's Minions try to steal it back, and Xavier and Queen Akita are curious of where Hazel and Alex are, since they've been missing for a while. . . while Nya talks to Jay, Nina, Charlie, Skylor, Maya, Ray, and Kai about what Dr. Maul had told her, and she thinks Eric is still alive, but if that's true, then the question is, Where is he Now?
Will Eric find The Oni Masks? Will Xavier and Akita find Hazel and Alex? Will Nya discover her Son's survival?
