Hi Guys!

A few things that I should mention before you get reading so this is important!

I am not sure if you have noticed but I have changed my user-name. So, its still the same person, me! But you can call me Dusk! (If you want to check out my YouTube Channel feel free just search up Dusk Draws, I have 17 videos on there, if that helps?) I plan on eventually posting video content based on this story, so that will be exciting!

My next point I have never mentioned this but if you have put a review on my story I have probably PM-ed you back explaining something or justifying whatever you may have said. (Or thanking you, I do a lot of that too! XD) So if you feel I may not have listened to you, I probably have if you haven't checked so if this is you please check!

Anyway guys, thanks so much for getting me this far and I plan on trying to update at least every Saturday! Bye.

-Dusk

I cautiously look at him, and give him a look that says, 'I will find out sooner or later.' He nervously looks at me and laughs. A slender dragon with a large salmon walks up to our table and gently places it down. Buckets eyes light up and he looks at all of us with a grateful smile,

"Thanks so much guys! So much more than I could have ever asked for."

"Awwww, its okay you cute fluffball." Typhoon says and walks around the table sitting next to Bucket. I look up at both them and realize Bucket has grown a lot from when we first met.

"What?" he says.

"Nothing, you have just grown a fair bit since we first met, I haven't noticed it until I look at both of you sitting next to each other." Typhoon and Bucket exchange glances, Typhoon looks slightly grumpy now, Ivy looks them both up and down and she nods, I move to the other side of the table with Ivy and we look at them who are now comparing heights.

"I am still taller." Typhoon protests, we all start laughing at how seriously he has taken this, "What?! Let me prove it, Bucket come here." Bucket gets up from the side table and walks over next to Typhoon they both stand up straight, Typhoon still is about a head taller but I see him trying to secretly elevate himself.

"Hey, Typhoon that cheating, Ivy and I will discuss who is taller." Typhoon flaps his wings out in protest but is quickly shushed by us. "Okay, Typhoon is definitely taller, but we are going to say Bucket is taller okay?" Ivy nods and giggles a little bit.

"We thin Bucket has it in the bag." I announce, Typhoon looks flabbergasted, once again he flaps his wings out in protest and looks us both in the eyes and says,

"I am definitely taller, here just have a look, my head sits higher than his, his wings are lower than mine and even when he is standing as straight as he can he still isn't as tall see?" Typhoon rebuts,

"No Bucket is definitely taller, see he has longer limbs than you." Typhoon looks straight at Buckets legs and shakes his head once again,

"No, nope, I am definitely taller. Stop lying its annoying." Typhoon looks genuinely upset now, I walk over to him and say,

"Its okay to be small like me." He tosses his head back and laughs,

"But I am not small, I am still the biggest one okay?! Come on have a good look it is me for sure!" Bucket grabs his stomach and starts uncontrollably laughing, Ivy joins in and I look at Typhoon, who is looking livid.

"Typhoon they are just messing with you of course you are still taller." Bucket grabs Typhoon's shoulder, Bucket receives a nasty look of anger and disgust. Typhoon scowls at all of us and plops himself down next to Ivy who has kindly stopped laughing unlike Bucket and myself. After a few good minutes of calming down we both sit down on the other side of the table. We start slowly eating the food, not as good quality as I could have hoped but it is good enough for the sand-kingdom.

"So, how did you guys plan this whole thing." I go to speak before I am interrupted by a livid Typhoon.

"Well, we found your favourite food and figured we could take you here." Typhoon says in a bit of a prouder manner.

"So was Ivy in on this plan as well?"

"Yeah! Of course, I made it all possible, I was secretly following you around." A concerned look crossed Buckets face and he laughs awkwardly.

"All day?" He asks nervously.

"Yes, haha. Don't worry." Ivy says with a small smile, I look at them both intently seeking answers.

"Nope, you won't here a word from me." Ivy says as Typhoons and my eyes bore into her and immediately I know she isn't going to crack. But Bucket on the other hand may spill the beans, I will pester him later. Bucket nervously laughs again, and Typhoon smartly decides to hand Bucket his present. I am not sure what Typhoon got him, Typhoon refused to say he said it was a, 'surprise.' It is wrapped in a little cardboard box the size of my paw.

"Really you didn't have to get me anything Bucket says while ripping through the cardboard outer-shell. We all look at Bucket who is about to unravel the mystery gift, a satisfied look lines Typhoons face. As Bucket finally takes off the cardboard inside is a little pouch, Bucket wraps his claws around the draw strings and gently pulls it open. Inside was a triangle looking thing, Bucket inspects it and Typhoon snickers.

"One day you will figure out how to use it." Typhoon says, we all look at him seeking answers, he pretends to zip his mouth shut and his eyes keep laughing.

"Um, do I click on it or something?" Bucket asks quizzically.

"I dunno, you will figure it out within a month or two and by then you will be amazed at what it really does." Typhoon says mysteriously sitting back in his chair with a smug look hanging off his face and his paws crossed.

"Well thank you, you have me on the hook, I am seriously not going to stop, I really want to see what it is." Bucket says holding up the items and playing around with it.

"Can you tell me?" I ask hopefully.

"Sorry Disco-ball, not today." He says belittling me; I grumble a bit at him but he just shrugs. Ivy is next to pull out her present, she hands it to Bucket. Bucket unwraps this one a little quicker, and inside is a medium sized book. On the front cover engraved in gold it says, "Marine biology design booklet."

"So pretty much it's a book that you can use to sketch out what you have seen and the depths and stuff like that. I would talk more about it but its more fun to find it out yourself, I had a booklet like it when I was designing some new houses for the rainforest and it was really helpful." Ivy explained. Bucket gratefully held it and says to her.

"Thank you, I definitely am going to use this, I am just really annoyed that we are in the middle of the desert right now, because I really want to go use it, like really badly, hmmmmmmm." Ivy laughs at Bucket and he begins to laugh with her. I notice Typhoon's attention swerve to me, I laugh at him because I know exactly what he is thinking, where the heck is her present? After a few minutes of talking, I notice Ivy take a few quick looks at me and around me trying to see if I have a present.

"I am doing a Typhoon for my present; I am going to give it to you Bucket when you are least expecting it." Typhoon looks annoyed and starts looking me up and down, "Karma is like liking a spiny cactus Typhoon." I laugh evilly and he just stares at me.

"None of you even had to give me a present really! I am just glad to be all of your friends, you all mean so much to me and I am lucky to have you all." We all smile at him and his Bucket-y-ness.

"Thanks for always being here for me and thinking I was a sea creature." I say with a smile and a laugh, Bucket blushes with embarrassment and says,

"How, wa um, I am sorry I couldn't see –"
"I am just kidding I couldn't care less, I am just having some fun." He breathes a sigh of relief.

"How did you know I said that though?" I look over at Typhoon who is playing with a splinter on the table completely unaware of what I just said.

"Typhoon, TYPHOON!" Bucket hisses, Typhoon looks up unamused and mumbles,

"Huh?" Bucket grasps his face in his talons and shakes his head, "What, what did I do? Do you guys have an issue with me playing with the splinter or something?" He genuinely has no idea what is going on.

"Why would you tell her that I think she looked like a sea creature?" Typhoon starts laughing, his beautiful smile reflects in the light and the blue pigment of his scales reflect into my eyes.

"I dunno, for a laugh. It was funny and she isn't in a mental break down state I don't think anymore." I look over at Bucket who also has made eye contact with me, we both look away at the same time and Typhoon starts talking about something random that I can't concentrate on. You are okay Shimmer, not great but just pretend to be fine. Doesn't matter what has happened you just have to be there for your friends. I take in a deep calming breath and feel myself relax a little. I notice that the sun has almost set, and I have nearly completely lost track of time. I can't just drag him out because I want it to be a surprise, but we need to get out soon. Luckily Typhoon looks around and notices there are not that many people around and decides to go and pay. We clean up our stuff and thank the dragon that kindly served us.

"Well that was great thanks so much guys!" Bucket says thankfully. I nod and Typhoon bows while Ivy just smiles and says.

"Anytime I am sort of glad it was a surprise." We all laugh at this and walk back to the rooms in which we are staying in. There are still few dragons out roaming the streets but the cool air and the stars have almost silenced them. We walk back in a peaceful silence. Making our way through the corridors into the hallway where our rooms are.

"Goodnight guys." Typhoon says walking into his room. I wait next to Bucket sort of waiting for everyone else to leave to I can go and show him his surprise.

"Goodnight," Ivy whispers slowly closing her door. I look at Bucket who is watching me shift around awkwardly. Her blue scales close behind the door and I finally have my chance to take him to my present. I mean its not something he can take but its something he can come back to and enjoy. I hope he likes it.

"Okay, now for my present follow me." I say pulling him by the talons. He follows me with a smile on his face. We make our way through the back door and out of the gates. I start flying and motion for him to follow me up into flight. He looks like he wants to say something but decides against it. I swerve down to a patch of small cacti and succulents. In the middle I have placed a rug and have a small fire burning. I flap down to the ground and look at the handy work I have completed planting they plants around.

"What's this?"

"I planted these this morning and I was thinking it could be our little spot. Nobody else will know but us, and these plants should grow for many years to come and someday when we are older we can come back to this spot and remember everything. I nuzzle my head into his shoulder and he softly laughs and says.
"I already have had the best present in meeting you." He wraps a wing around me and I carve a spot in-between his body and wings. He softly strokes my head and places his paws around me. "I love it, it means a lot to me I hope you know that."

"I would offer to hug you, but there is no point in even trying." I say quietly.

"Hey, I don't mind there could be worse things."

"Yeah, yeah there could."
