Danny dodges a harpy as it swipes its claw at him. He spotted another charging at him before it was hit by Damn. He turns back to the harpy that he was fighting and fires an ectoblast that knocks it out of the air. Witcha flew through the air on her broomstick as three harpies chase her. She looks back and smirks. She pulls out her wand and fires a spell that knocks all three out of the air. Down on the roof, Leo crosses his arms in front of him as the Harpy swipes at him. It kept trying to break through before Leo caught it's talon and threw it into another harpy. Vampirella jump back and threw some bats at the harpy was that was attacking her. The Harpy try to shake them off before Vampirella appears behind it and bit its neck. Vampirella then grab it and threw it into another one. Slimy stretch her arms to punch some of the harpies in the air, before seeing one charge at her. It pow through Slimy and crash on the roof as it was cover in her slime.
The Six kept fighting as Shaft watches from afar. He notices how the six would back each other up and fight to keep their deaths small. But he notices that the ghost boy was very uneasy about killing some of the harpies and thought this was something he could inform the others about.
Soon the harpies retreated and the six regroup.
"Gezz, and here I thought we were having a nice time," Witcha said.
"I know. But this is Dracula's Castle. Something tells me we have to stay on our toes all the time." Damn said.
"Is it too much to ask for a break every once in a while? I haven't been in my ghost form this long before." Danny groan.
"I'm sure we can find a place to relax at some point," Witcha said.
Danny nodded and sighs. The others knew what Danny was feeling. Unlike them, killing was never his strong suit. Leo grew up in a pack for the earlier years of his life and killing wasn't a big deal to him. Damn hunts dead souls, which isn't the same, but after seeing so many, killing doesn't bother him anymore. Slimy was taught by the other slimes that sometimes she might have to kill to protect herself and isn't too off-putting on it. Witcha was told to kill opponents as a last resort. But Danny, he never once kills anyone until he reaches the castle.
Witcha floated close to him and puts a hand on his shoulder.
"Danny?" She asked.
"I'm fine, it's just..." He tries to say.
"We know." Everyone said.
None of them could blame Danny. In their eyes, he was still a hero. The six walk down the roof before seeing another door. Knowing that they were going to head back inside, Danny, Witcha, and Damn took one last flight together to enjoy as much as they can before landing next to the others. They open the door and walk-in.
Vlad sat back at his mansion and was watching from his spy camera he left behind and watch the six monster teens fight together. He notices Daniel looked down about fighting and places together that he might have killed some of the creatures.
"So, young Daniel never kill before? I must admit I do feel sorry for him to experience the life he has taken. But sorry Daniel, but you had to learn that you can't save everyone." He said.
He turns and looks at his new guests in his mansion.
"I must admit, I didn't think some of you would join me." He said.
"Damn is going to pay what he did to me." Hellfire said.
"And how did you get out of hell?" Vlad asks him.
"We demons have our ways." Hellfire said.
"And you, my dear?" Vlad asked the slime.
"I just wish to see my daughter in action." She said.
"If you say so Slimina," Vlad said.
"To see that she tap into her slime cross powers. I did try to absorb a heal slime, but I only got a piece of it." Slimina said.
"And how in the world did Damn turn into a more powerful Demon?!" Hellfire shouted.
"Now, now, calm down. It might have something to do with them sensing Dracula's power." Vlad said.
"That you woke up!" Hellfire yelled.
"Enough!" Slimina yelled.
Hellfire huff and turn away. Slimina turns and looks at her daughter and smiles.
"She's becoming more powerful than I thought. I can't be more proud of my little slime." She said.
"Sounds like you still want to be her mother." Hellfire said.
"She is my daughter. I may not like how she is helping humans but at the same time, I can be proud of the things she does." Slimina said.
Vlad smirks and looks at the group.
"If we are going to compete our plan we need a witch, werewolf, and vampire of our own." He said.
"Of course," Slimina said before walking through Vlad and his chair, leading her slime all over him.
Hellfire laugh as Vlad got up and went to change his clothes and shower for the third time today. Slimina smirks and looks back at the group.
"Keep fighting my little slime. Mommy wants to meet you." She said.
The group walk down the stairs and found themselves in a strange room. They all look around and were confused.
"Where are we?" Slimy asked.
"I have no idea," Leo said.
"Are we still in the castle?" Vampirella asked.
"I think so," Damn said unsure.
"Guys, I'm picking up some powerful magic," Witcha said.
"Really? How?" Danny asked, remembering it was Leo that pick up magic before.
"I... don't know," Witcha said.
Ever since she enter this castle, she felt different. As if there was a part of her trying to wake up. She didn't understand it. The group walk through the strange room and was surprised to see no monsters attack them. Almost as if someone knew they were coming. They walk on and kept an eye out for anything. Then something indeed appears in front of them and it was Medusa.
"Medusa?! I thought Slimy deal with her!" Danny shouted.
Slimy quickly turns into her monster form and threw a punch at Medusa. Her fist went through Medusa and she faded.
"Huh?!" Slimy asked shock.
"An illusion!" Witcha shouted before spotting the Succubus.
"Damn!" She shouted.
Damn turn into his monster form and threw his fire at the illusion. The Succubus faded and the group stood ready for any other trick. The then saw a giant bat swoop down at them. Vampirella jumps at it and threw a kick that case it to fade. Leo spotted a mummy and drove his claw through it making it fade as well.
"Someone is making us see the past enemies we defeated," Danny said before they all spotted the Golem.
Danny fire an ectoblast at its head that made it fade away.
"There something about this room! Give me some time to break the spell!" Witcha said and pulls out her wand.
The rest saw even more of the monsters they had defeated and stood around Witcha to protect her.
"Guys, don't let a single one get to Witcha!" Danny said.
"Right!" The others said as the illusions charge at them.
Witcha held out her wand and try to summon a spell to break the illusion that she and her friends were trapped under.
'Come on, Aunt Georgia taught me some spells to break through Illusions.' Witcha thought and try to summon the spell.
Her wand started to glow and Witcha felt two hands touch hers. She opens her eyes to see that her friends were still fighting the illusions and there was no one there.
"Don't give up."
"We know you can do it."
Witcha's eyes widen when she heard two voices. They sounded familiar... She shook her head. She raises her wand in the air and fires the spell. The illusions fade and the room turns into what appears to a chemicals lab. Witcha lowers her wand and looks at her hand. Slimy and Damn turn back to normal as everyone turns to her.
"Witcha? Are you okay?" Danny asked her.
"I don't know anymore. Ever since I enter the castle, I feel different." She said.
"Different how?" Leo asked.
"Like there something inside me that trying to wake up. Something that been sleeping for a long time." She said.
"Maybe it's your monster form?" Slimy asked.
"No, this isn't like how you and Damn unlock your forms. This feels like a part of me is trying to be whole again." Witcha said.
Danny thought about it and could understand what she was saying. Even since becoming a halfa, he learns that both sides need each other. It possible that Witcha could be a halfa of her own right. But it was unknown what was trying to become part of her again.
"What does it feel like?" He asked her.
"Um, the best I can say is that I feel some kind of magic that part of my normal one, but I can't make out what it is. All I can tell is that it feels like light." She said.
"Wait light? As in Light magic?" Vampirella said.
Witcha thought about that and could see her point, but there was one problem.
"But you're a Dark Witch! You can't have light magic." Vampirella said.
"What if she a halfa like me?" Danny spoke up.
"Huh?" Everyone asked.
"As you all know, I'm a half-human/half-ghost hybrid. But what if the word halfa just isn't for what ghosts call me. What if Witcha is only half Dark Witch?" Danny pointed out.
"Half Dark Witch?" Vampirella asked.
"As of now, I'm just guessing. But its something we should look into. Maybe your aunt knows something." Danny said then turn to Witcha.
Witcha thought about it and nodded. Maybe she could ask her aunt when she returns home.
"So, another subspecies? That three of you so far."
Everyone turns and saw Shaft floating not too far from them and stood ready to fight.
"Danny, Phantom, Witcha Spellborn, and Slimy Slime. I'm sad to say that my offer to take you to my master is no longer an option. Subspecies are not welcome to this world." He said.
"Wait? How do you know my last name?" Witcha said.
"Spellborn? I met a powerful wizard who I try to join my master case. But he refuses and stated that the Light Wizards will never use their power for evil. His name is still in my mind. Hector Spellborn." Shaft said.
"Hector Spellborn!" Witcha shouted.
"Who's that?" Danny asked.
"A very powerful Light Wizard that people say he could match Dracula in power! But why do I have his last name?" Witcha asked.
"It took a while, but I can see it. It appears that he had a child, You." Shaft said.
"But Witcha is a Dark Witch!" Vampirella said.
"So he had a child with a Dark Witch. Tell me, what is your mother's name?" Shaft asked Witcha.
"Mima," Witcha said.
Shaft looks surprised before laughing.
"The all-powerful Light Wizard fell for Mima Deathbringer? The world weakest Dark Witch?" He said.
"Hey! My mom wasn't weak!" Witcha yelled.
"Wait, Deathbringer? I heard of that name before." Vampirella said.
"Of course you have. A dark witch with that name is said to be powerful enough to take over the world. But Mima never wanted to. It was said that she loves the world too much to take it over. A foolish decision." Shaft said.
"Hey! If my mother loves the world so much then she made the right choice!" Witcha yelled.
"We never met Witcha parents, but I bet if they were here and are just like you said, they would be proud of her!" Danny said.
Witcha blush at Danny's words and nodded. Shaft just look at Danny and smirks.
"To think a human would get the powers of the dead. I can see that you don't like to kill and try everything that you can to avoid it. But let me ask you something, Danny was it? Do you really think that you can save everyone without killing?" Shaft said.
Danny looks away from Shaft and Witcha places her hand on Danny's shoulder.
"It's doesn't matter! We see him as a hero. He might not kill or be used to it like the rest of us but we still see him for who he is. He's a monster and also a hero!" Witcha said.
"So, keep your mouth shut about the things you don't know!" Slimy added.
Shaft just smirks and summon a force field around him.
"Well then, maybe I should take back the offer for all of you. I will destroy you all here and now." Shaft said and fire a powerful spell.
The Monster Heroes jump away and Danny turns to Witcha.
"Okay, Witcha, magic is your thing. Got any ideas on how to stop him?" Danny asked her.
"From what I have seen so far, he a highly advanced wizard. He has no wand or a shaft to use his magic. Taking him down won't be easy." Witcha said.
"Noted," Danny said and fire an ectoblast.
His blast boucle off the force field and Shaft turns to them.
"I don't think that's going to work!" Witcha said.
"Also noted!" Danny said as both he and Witcha dodge a magic beam.
Shaft turns and notices that Damn and Slimy had transformed back into their Monster Forms and started to rush at him. Damn threw his fist and it knocks Shaft back a bit. Slimy then threw her own punches and was started to beat the force field. Shaft groans as he held his shield up and spotted Vampirella and Leo charging at him. He teleported away leaving Slimy to hit her friends instead.
"Leo! Vampirella!" Slimy shouted and stop her attack.
Shaft appears behind the two power-up monsters and fires a magic blast that knocks the two in the Werewolf and Vampirella. Shaft fire another magic blast but Danny flew in front of them and place his own shield in front of it. He tries to hold the magic back, but his shield broke and was knocked into the others. Shaft fire another blast, but Witcha got in front and fire her own blast from her wand.
"Do you really think you can stop me? I'm am the most powerful wizard in the world. You are nothing more than a weak little witch." Shaft said.
Witcha closes her eyes as she tries to keep the spell at bay, but it started to overcome her magic and Witcha was cover in Shaft magic.
"Witcha. Wake up Witcha."
Witcha opens her eyes and notices a Dark Witch standing over her with a smile. Witcha blink and notices the Dark Witch eyes were the same color as hers, hazel.
"It has been a long time my little witch." She said as she helps Witcha to her feet.
"Who are you?" Witcha asked.
The Dark Witch looks surprised before laughing.
"That's right, you were just a baby the last time I saw you." She said.
"Baby?" Witcha said.
"I'm Mima Deathbringer. A Dark Witch and your mother." Mima said.
"My mother?" Witcha said shock before she started to sniff.
Witcha couldn't hold back and hug her mother crying.
"MOM!" She said unable to stop the tears.
"There, there, my little witch. It's alright." Mima said as Man in white robes walks up.
"And what about me?" He asked.
Witcha turns and knew who he was and what he was.
"Dad." She said and hug him.
Hector smiles and hugs his daughter back. Witcha couldn't stop crying as both her parents try to calm her down. After what felt like ten minutes Witcha calm down enough to wipe the tears out of her eyes and look at her parents.
"Mom, dad. Where are we?" She said.
"Somewhere we can talk," Hector said.
"Don't answer her question in riddles! I hate it when you do that!" Mina told him.
"And yet you love me all the same," Hector smirks.
Witcha looks confused before Hector turns to her.
"Witcha, your mother and I have been watching you. We are both proud of the things you have done." He said.
"And you made wonderful friends," Mima added.
"I..." Witcha didn't know what to say.
"Witcha, we are proud that you continue to be yourself and never let others say things about you," Hector said.
"We are proud that you are going out of your way to protect the world. Like I did." Mima said.
"Aunt Georgia always told me that you love the planet and she refuses to take it over because it would make you sad." Witch said.
"That's my sister. Putting family first. Though I don't like how she keeps you lock up." Mima said.
"Now, now, Mima. You know she just looking out for our daughter." Hector said.
"Maybe! But she knows that I disapprove of locking up others without a reason!" Mima shouted.
"I'm glad you didn't get your mother's temper," Hector said.
"Is that why her last name is Deathbringer?" Witcha asked.
"Witcha, my family name is far more than that," Mima said and knees down to her.
"Deathbringer always means the same thing, Brings Death to all. But that doesn't mean you have too. When I met your father, he saw me as the beautiful witch he still does and treated me like I wasn't a Dark Witch. I told him how much I love the planet and how I want to see it grow and flourish. He tries to talk me into becoming a Light Witch, but I want to be who are was." Mima told her.
"I learn to love your mother the way she is and after some time we started to think that Light and Dark are the same," Hector added.
"And that's what you are. You are Light and Darkness in one." Mima said.
Witcha pulls out her wand and looks at it. Hector knees down and places his hand on her wand.
"Witcha, you might be trained in the dark arts of magic, but you have light magic inside of you as well. You need to use both instead of one." He told her.
"How? I have only been using Dark Magic my whole life." Witcha asked.
"Witcha, light, and dark might be opposite but they are also the same. Using Light Magic is just the same as Dark Magic." Mima said.
Witcha looks down and Hector lifts her head back up.
"Witcha, know that we love you. And it doesn't matter what you are. You are our daughter and we are very proud of you." Hector said.
"No matter what," Mima added.
Witcha started crying again and hug her parents once more. They hug her back before she backs away a bit.
"Our time is almost up. We will be leaving." Hector told her.
"But I miss you," Witcha said.
"We miss you too. When you get home, can you tell Georgia something for me?" Mima said.
"Don't keep me lock up?" Witcha joke and her mother laugh.
"That and I very happy that she keeping her promise." She said.
"Now you have friends to help and an evil wizard to stop," Hector said and rub her hair.
Witcha smiles before her mother leads down and kisses her forehead.
"Remember, we love you." She said before she and Hector step back.
Witcha watches as they slowly disappear and almost wanting to beg them to not go but stops herself. She looks at them and smiles.
"I love you too!" She said.
Witcha found herself back in front of Shaft's spell and sat it was about to overcome her. Witcha remove one of her hands from her wand and it started to glow with magic. She fires the beam that started to push the beam back. She drops her wand and fires another blast that pushes it back even more. Witcha started to let out a powerful yell as her dark and light magic started to cover her. Witcha's robe turn half black and half white and even gains the Ying-Yan symbol on her chest. Her hat remains black but it had a tiara that shines brightly.
She even had black and white orbs of magic floating around her. She pushes back Shaft magic and he barely dodges his own attack. He turns and saw her new form.
"So, you tap into the power that your friends have." He said.
"And learn a lot about magic," Witcha said as she held out her hand for a dark orb to land in.
The Orb forms into a long shaft and she points it at him. It fires a bolt of lightning that knocks Shaft into the wall and even cracks his force field.
Witcha lets the shaft forms back into the orb and grab a light orb that turns into a sword. She rushes up to him and started to strike the force field very fast. Shaft could feel the blows through the field and saw more cracks. Witcha stabs the sword through the Force Field, breaking it and stabbing Shaft in the shoulder.
Shaft cries out in pain as he used a heal spell to heal his shoulder. But Witcha turns the sword back into an orb and grab another dark orb that forms into a whip. A whip that looks very familiar to Shaft.
"Is that the..." He started to say before Witcha whips him across the face.
Witcha then threw her whip around his leg and pulled him back and slam him against the wall. Shaft spit-up blood as Witcha pull him into the air and brought him back down. She then threw him up and pull her towards him. Witcha grabs another white orb and let it form into a sword and stabs him through the chest. Shaft gags as he looks down at the powerful Witch. Witcha just stares at him before pulling out her sword and let both weapons turn back into orbs.
"What kind of witch are you?" Shaft asked.
"The kind you don't want to mess with. I'm Witcha Spellborn. Daughter of Mima Deathbringer and Hector Spellborn. As long as I live, Light and Dark will be until as one." Witcha said and walks past him.
"You bitch. I'm the most powerful Wizard in the world." Shaft said and started to stand up.
"You're no witch! You just a lower class that doesn't know anything!" Shaft said and fires a magic blast at her.
Witcha turns around and threw her hands forward. Her orbs started to float in front of her and spin around as she fires her own magic blast that overpowers Shaft's magic. He screams as the Light and Dark Magic overcame him and burns him away, ending the twisted wizard once again.
Witcha lowers her hands and her orbs floated back behind her as she turns to her friends.
"Witcha?!" Vampirella said shock.
"Yep! What do you think?" Witcha said.
Now that everyone could get a better look, they saw that parts of Witcha's new robe were moving as if the light and dark were mixing with each other. They look at her tiara and saw a black crystal in it and there was a white crystal on the top of her hat.
"I like the new robe," Vampirella said.
"Thank you and Danny is right. I'm a Halfa too!" Witcha said.
"So, it was your light magic that was trying to wake up," Leo said.
"That means half of us have unlocked our Monster Forms," Damn said.
"That means Danny, Vampirella, and Leo are left! Hurry and unlock yours!" Slimy cheer.
"Whoa easy there Slimy. It not that easy." Leo said.
"Yeah, we unlock ours in due time," Vampirella told her.
"So, Witcha, how did you unlock that?" Danny asked.
"Let's just say, I got to met my parents," Witcha smirks.
And there ends the fight with Witcha and Shaft. So about that little touching moment with Witcha meeting her parents after so long. She now knows she a Light and Dark Witch and the orbs she has can form different weapons. Witcha Monster Form did come from Dragonrule. I try to mix his and my ideas but it appears I just went with his, mostly. Can any guess what Whip Shaft through he saw? Anyways, there are three generals left and they are the "Lords Of Shadows" So the general that is next is Cornell. So it will be Leo Vs Cornell next time and his monster form will be unlocked. I do have some bosses for the next chapter so I have an idea of what to write next. I might go back to two bosses for the next few chapters. Just thinking on which ones to use.
Also, Vampirella's Monster form is still up the air. Ideas are welcome.
