Hello! This is just a quick update, that will be deleted when I update this story! Someone had recently asked if there would ever be a Chapter 18, and yes, there will be! In case anyone has skipped over the Author's Note in Chapter 16, I did briefly touch on why I wouldn't be updating anytime soon.
Recently, I have started a couple new stories I've been working on. The first story is about 13 chapters in, though it's nowhere near complete yet. If I were to guess, that story might have up to around 30 chapters, as it's going to be pretty long. The second story is only about 9 chapters in, and while this one isn't as planned out as the first, I have been working on it in my spare time. I had also planned to do a third story, but that's not set in stone yet.
I'm currently working with my old laptop, as my other one was having problems with one of the keys. I had taken it into a shop on August 21st to get it looked at and had left it there. I was told I would be getting a call to update me on the 26th, however that never came, so I called a day later. The worker confessed that he was swamped, so I gave him one more day, but he still never got back with me. So Monday, August 31st, I will be going to pick it up as I feel like it's just taking too long. After that, I will be transferring the second story over to my primary laptop (as I've started writing it on this old one), and I will be hoping to continue and eventually finish the first story. Until then, I will be working on the second story on this old laptop.
I do have a one-shot saved to this laptop that was originally going to be published, but I ended up setting it to the side to work on requests and never got back to it. It's a Eunice X Hal one-shot, and though I can't promise the chapter will be as long as some of the others once I finish it, it will most likely be the next story to be posted. I won't be giving out any estimated times, however, as I still don't know how long it will take to finish the projects I have now. As stated before, the first story is going to be long, but it is thought out about 90% of the way. I just require my primary laptop back in order to work on it. This second story, however, isn't as planned out. It originally started as a "what if" sort of thing that I started to work on. I'm hoping that, if I run into any troubles with that story, I'll be able to try and work on some one-shots for Sucker.
As for requests, they're still closed for right now. I would like to focus on my projects, and then do the stories I had originally listed before. After everything is done, I hope to get back into the swing of things and reopen the requests for Sucker then, but again, I can't give a time as to when that will be.
The two stories will eventually be posted to Wattpad, however I will only start to give Sucker more of a thought after the first story is fully complete and whenever I hit a block on the second story. I wanted to do a different approach with these two stories, by writing them and then keeping them in their own folder, working on them until they're fully complete. I didn't want to post them, then have to go back and edit and everything. So, if anyone would like to know what those stories are about, or if you have any questions about upcoming stories for Sucker, feel free to just PM me! I normally try not to go into too much detail because I do like keeping things secret so that way when it's published, it's more of a surprise.
