AN: I have been away for far too long. I won't go much into detail but I've been going through a lot these years. But I found my old writings of my stories and I want to finish them. Maybe after I start a few new ones. So without further ado I give you the next chapter.
Chapter 19
12 hours part 2
Sherlock POV
With just the two of us left I was determined to finish this date on a good note. If we weren't already unnaturally attached to each other, I would have extended my hand out to her. A gesture in the hope she would gently put her hand in mine with acceptance, something I wanted her to do willing and without thought.
"Let's continue this-
Internally sighing as my phone started to ring. And when it rang a third, fifth, sixth time my sighs turned into murderist disgust. Once I took my phone out and answered it this date would be over. Due to our predicament Molly would be right there but it wasn't the same it wouldn't be a date anymore.
"Are you going to answer that? Sounds important, "Molly inquired with concern.
Squeezing my eyes painful tight I pulled out my phone quickly answering it.
"Yes," I growled low, sending a small message that it better be important.
In a voice too high pitched and cheery a man spoke. "AH Yes Mr. Holmes we've been trying to reach you to tell you we got the solution to separate you two."
How I wished this man's voice wasn't so loud, clearly Molly had heard because her eyes shined bright and her body started to shake as if she wanted to dance around happily if she wasn't attached to someone. I on the other hand could not move and it was painful to force a smile.
"So make sure you come by as soon as possible," the man chirped.
"Understood. We'll be there shortly," I replied before hanging up.
Getting into the back of the car despite our hands being super bond together I grabbed her hand tighter. In all honesty I didn't like being around anyone for a long time even John and my family was no exception but with Molly it was different. I wanted to spend every second with her, something you read in those cheesy stories about love. And just like that I knew. It was more than I originally thought it was. We hadn't gone fully on a first date yet and I was in love and it scared the ever loving shit out of him.
"You seem really calm. I'm a bit nervous. I hope it works with no weird after effects." Molly spoke.
Looking down at her and my brain was about to explode every part of my mind started to see more details. It was as if realizing I love her made her too beautiful to bare.
"It's fine. Don't worry," I squeaked, surprising even himself and catching Molly a little off guard.
Her eyebrows quirked up and one side in concern damn if that wasn't unbelievable adorable. "Do you need water," she asked, already handing me a water bottle before I could reply."
Grabbing it I nearly spilled over half the contents with my shaking hand. What was it? Did saying the word love active something. What made me increasingly nervous was after we were detached what happened.
What if she doesn't want to continue to date?
What if she doesn't want to be around me?
What if she quits?
What if she doesn't like me?
Or doesn't love me?
What if she falls in love with someone else.
And then she marries, has sex before and after marriage, and they have kids making their bond closer. They fight which is great but it leads to passionate angry sex which is bad. Then live their life together with gross gestures of love and devotion.
These would only be acceptable with me, a small voice in my head screamed.
"We're here!" Molly shouted, pulling me from my thoughts and pulling me out of the car with her.
It wasn't long before they dipped our hands in a solution. And within a few minutes I could feel our hands starting to separate until we were no longer bound together.
"Your hand might be a little red for a bit and weird to move but everything should go back to normal. Now go wash your hands and you are all set." One of the workers instructed.
Once we washed our hands Molly took no time in celebrating.
"I missed you so much. I love you so much!" Molly exclaimed, kissing her hand and rubbing her cheek to her hand.
"Molly are you done celebrating?" I laughed.
"Yes." She retorted. Then turning back to her hand she whispered seductively. "We'll celebrate later on tonight."
Making everyone including myself turn red. Quickly I went over her reaching for her hand to grab it to walk out of here and away from lingering eyes. But to my utter shock and disappointment she moved her hand away quickly before I could hold them moving severely feet away.
She must have seen the look on my face cause she quickly replied. "Sorry force of habit making sure you have nothing in your hand that might attach us again," she teased.
Still I couldn't remove the look of rejection from my face. With a huge sigh she marched over to me extending out her hand palm up for me to put my hand in. "Let's go continue our date," she smiled so big it reached her eyes."
Not quite how I imagined it going but most things with Molly are never what I predict. Placing my hand in Molly's we walked out hand in hand out of this place and this time it was both by choice.
AN: Finally here's another chapter. Not sure if people are still following but I hope you enjoy it. I'll try to have more chapters as soon as I can.
