Bloody Roar: Loud Ch. 18 (Race Against Time part 3: Iron Mole)

Also, possible Harem/Polygamous relationship implied. That said, I don't want anyone making OTP ship wars since all ships are treated equally. Also, as per rules of AU (Alternative Universes), some events may or may not take place as such, some characters may or may not appear also (just like the Arrowverse, Marvelverse, DCU, etc… you get the point.)

[AN: This is the third part of the season finale. Whereas, our heroes will now be fighting against the Chameleon Zoanthrope, Hajime Buzusima. There they will decide the fate of Royal Woods, if it is towards peace or utter chaos. This season may not be the last time we see this treacherous reptile but this is where he will finally face justice against his crimes. Not only that but this will spark the day that the whole Royal Woods populace will be another Menagerie due to Zoanthropes appearing left and right. It will be up to Lincoln to deal with the situation but that will be for another season. For now, let's get to the season finale. And as the title suggest, a new challenger will face the heroes of this story and Clyde will be the viewpoint of it.]
Lincoln and his group had reached the Renaissance Center, where the Chameleon Zoanthrope is waiting as he fulfil his plans of turning the whole Michigan state into a world of chaos, run by Zoanthropes. His plan to dominate and usher an era of Darwinism, where the strong eats upon the weak and Zoanthropes running rampant without laws, teachings or restrictions. Our heroes are now doing what must be done for this evil purpose to be stopped. As they stepped into the entryway and looked around the empty halls, they are greeted by a figure of red armor and kabuki mask.
Lincoln: Be careful, everyone. Buzusima is prepared to do whatever it takes to succeed.
The humanoid figure then suddenly had a red glow on its eyes, signifying activation. Then it assumes battle stance, a stance that Clyde is familiar with. From the jumbotrons of the halls, then switches on and reveals Hajime Buzusima.
Buzusima [on-screen]: Hello, little rascals. You really think I did not come prepared. Although I'd like to send most of my samples there, I figured you from the WOC would send little cubs and puppies so let's just say, I'm underestimating you. All of you are not worth my army. Alas, I still have proper security left in me. Meet project Koryuu!
Project Koryuu, a humanoid/android created by Tyron but discontinued due to instability. Buzusima had stolen one of Tyron [Dr. Tucker's] projects and created a weapon to protect himself. It was said that the project needs a body and proper programming.
Lincoln: You stole one of the doctor's precursor and continued the bio-engineered weapon! You really are a madman!
Buzusima: Sticks and stones, little pup! But have you noticed anything familiar of this one successful humanoid? Unlike those useless prototypes that failed, this one is more powerful and more capable than a real human. Not only that but it is also empowered by Zoanthrope DNA so it can basically transform as well. The alloy I used is made of transformium ore, which a very enigmatic yet unique polymeric metal. Now go Kohryuu, destroy them!
The jumbotron then screens off as the android then moves into more human like. When it charges at the group, Lincoln and the others split into pairs to avoid getting attacked. Clyde notice something familiar of the humanoid.
Clyde/Bakuryu II: It can't be… master Bakuryu!
Chloe: What!?
Lincoln: That can't be!
Clyde/Bakuryu II: His stance, his movements, there's no denying it! He also uses the Kato-Ninjutsu, which means one thing. He took some of master's molten remains and fused it into this abomination! That rotten!
Ronnie: What's the plan then?
Clyde/Bakuryu II: Lincoln, you and the rest may go! I'll take care of this one!
Chloe: Wait, let me stay with Bakuryu (II). At the very least, he should have a backup!
Lincoln: Alrighty then. I'm counting on you to survive, Bakuryu (II)! Defeat this thing!
Lincoln and the others left for the staircase and entered the elevator. Clyde/Bakuryu II and Chloe are left to stop Project Kohryuu at the first floor.
Clyde/Bakuryu II: Wait for me master. I promise that I'll put you to rest.
Chloe: I'll help as much as I can.
Clyde then charges at Kohryuu but was met by a backhand strike. Clyde fell backwards as Chloe caught him from going to far.
Chloe: He's too strong!
Clyde/Bakuryu II: What did I expect? This monster used my master's DNA to fight me. He's strong, but not as crafty since he had no soul!
Chloe: What should we do?
Clyde/Bakuryu II: Give it our all!
Clyde channels his Zoanthrope energy to attack as he creates mirages and duplicates of himself. He once again charges and performs an aerial attack but the android blocks the assault. The other duplicates then sneaks on the android and threw explosive blades at the humanoid. The attack is successful and Chloe used her partial Cat energy to put a dent on the android.
Clyde/Bakuryu II: I suspect as much. The mechanics of its eye is a heat seeker but doesn't know that the clones can still do physical damage. Master would always use this technique for espionage and sneak attacks but since you can only do partial of the Kato-Style Ninjutsu, I can win by outwitting this monster!
The android then morphed its body with it's nose similar to a drill. The hands and feet became claws and still assumed Ryuzen/Bakuryu I ninja stance.
Chloe: It can transform!
Clyde/Bakuryu II: I think we ticked him off and finally decided to use its Zoanthrope form. Now we're gonna have to get serious too.
Chloe transformed into her Cat form as of Clyde with his Mole form. Clyde then charges at the Iron Mole and are locked in a struggle. Clyde punches to the right while the Kohryuu blocks from the side. The Iron Mole parries with a punch but Clyde leans back to dodge. Chloe uses a Cat Punch and knocked the Iron Mole forward. But when the Iron Mole notice the impact, its head twists back to Chloe which scared her for a bit. The Iron Mole then uses its power to spin like a tornado while grabbing Clyde. This attack smacked Chloe away and made Clyde dizzy as he was thrown to the air. The android then transforms its hands into drills and tunnels to the ground. Clyde does the same while leaving Chloe to watch what is happening. From every time they appear, the rushes and clashes with each other but the android doesn't seemed to get tires as Clyde is receiving wound. Another clash left Clyde launching to the ground towards Chloe and exhausted from the battle.
[AN: I seriously didn't put Kohryuu's Beast Drive because Kohryuu might not be a prominent character since he's just a clone of Clyde's master, Ryuzen "Bakuryu I" Shikigami. Only exception is that he's an expendable android and will not hold too much significance on the story. However, I did have something soon for him…]
Chloe [Cat]: He's too strong. He really is not human anymore.
Clyde/Bakuryu II {Mole]: While I was fighting from left and right, I noticed something. The alloy is strong but enough force can dent it. Another thing is that the machine will always have a core or a source and I located it on its chest. That's where the main body or heart is. I I can strike it down then…
Chloe [Cat]: You can finally beat it and let your master be at rest.
Clyde/Bakuryu II [Mole]: Alright, so this is the plan…
Clyde then whispers something to Chloe before both standing up. Then they split up and Chloe took the initiative by charging at the android. She gathered a lot of her Cat energy to deal with a powerful dent at the chest area. Although due to the alloy, the dent will slowly recover but the attack was enough to expose the core. Clyde then took off and the Iron Mole swiped Chloe away as it revert its sights at Clyde. The Iron Mole then focus and Clyde and both rushes to each other once more.
Clyde/Bakuryu II: This is for you, master! Please… be at rest.
When the secured enough distance, they both clashed blades in a very blindingly flashy quickness. Both then paused at their opposite ends and from a couple of seconds, Clyde fell down and realized his wounds. But as soon as the boy fell down, he took one more glance at the android while covering his wound. The android then moves towards CLyde but soon paused from its movements.
Clyde/Bakuryu II: One of your lessons is to always ensure for the killing blow… Kato Style, Ninja Art - Explosive Assassination.
It turns out that the daggers that Clyde uses was implanted at the core to delay its regenerative factor. The daggers contained bombs and Clyde's Mole Zoanthrope energy that exploded into a fiery blast. The whole android soon then detonates and scatters its remains. The core of the android ceased to function and as it fell, broke into pieces. A sturdy container that holds the liquefied remains of Ryuzen fell next to the door. Clyde then faints after exhausting his Zoanthrope DNA while Chloe used her remaining powers to heal herself from the wounds and rest for a while.
Chloe: You did it. You finally did it.
A soldier then entered the first floor and contacted his comrades.
Soldier: We found two of our fighters, knocked down. We also found the target item. Requesting for medic and backup for retrieval.
The soldier the received an approval as he waits for the medical team and backup to arrive. He then tends to the two to see if their injuries are severe or minor. Luckily that the Zoanthrope fighters are recovering but the fatigue they've experience will hinder them from other movements. The soldier then used some kind of syringe that contained first aid for the two and brought them near to the exit as he collects some scraps of transformium and the sturdy container.
Soldier: Professor Tucker will be pleased to have his toys back to its rightful owner. I'm sorry but this DNA is proven to be important for the Project. I guess you won't be resting in peace for a while.
Meanwhile, somewhere at the higher floors.
Lincoln: That explosion… could it be?
Ronnie: Hey, Lame-O! we have to go!
Lincoln: Right! Coming there!
Haiku: We found some supply rooms and it contained some first aids and blueprints.
Tabby: Now that's a way to prepare.
Giggles: Look it here, it also contained a map of each floors.
Polly: Aw men, so much for not using the elevators! And I was just getting warmed up.
Lincoln: No time for games. We need to stop this creep before it's too late. We'll take the path to the next elevator.
Lincoln and his group will be lead to another empty hall that will lead to another elevator to take them to the rooftop. They must continue their mission to stop the Chameleon Zoanthrope before Michigan becomes a zoo of utter chaos.
Somewhere outside the building, Jenny had escorted a particular blue/indigo armored man.
Jenny: You've got a stabilizer. Now you won't die even at using your powers. The effects however is not permanent but it is still much more potent than the one that Buzusima had once.
Stun: It's… alright… I can… still last. This… is… much… better… than… taking… human…blood.
Jenny: Still though, are you sure you're up to this particular murder mission? Buzusima is wanted, dead or alive, and preferably alive since the doctor needs information of the one that he stole.
Stun: I care… not of… his projects… but if… those… things… will bring… only ruin… I must stop him… afterall… What more could I lose?
Jenny: I see. You've lost so much, old friend. You're still given a second chance but it will still be a tough one. Once we got him to talk, then you can kill him. That way, all those that he caused sorrow will finally be at rest.
Stun: Wish… me… luck.
Jenny: Godspeed, Steven Goldberg. Or should I call you "Stun" from now on.
With that, Stun then transforms into a Beetle Zoanthrope and took off to an open terrace. He cannot always transform or his bloodlust will corrupt him but he can at least remain stable thanks to his medicine. He walks to the entrance that will lead to a foyer and a different elevator. It seemed that Lincoln and Stun will be destined to meet once more.

AN: And that's a wrap. I was planning on not involving Kohryuu to have Clyde remain but what better to include the newest addition [or improvement of Bakuryu] to the plot than now. I didn't include Kohryuu's Beast Drive considering that he's just an android clone of Ryuzen/Bakuryu I. He does have a Beast Drive but not for now. I still planned something for the Iron Mole on something for the future just as Buzusima. Meaning they'll have either major or minor roles that will play out in season 2. Also, the transformium allow is a reference to the Transformers Movie series (by Michael Bay). Iron Mole is both a and not a Zoanthrope. Why? Well a definition of a Zoanthrope is a Beast-Man or a human that can transform into an animal or Chimera. But Iron Mole isn't an animal. Sure he transform into a mole made of metallic alloys but that because the transformium alloy is commanded by the android's host to take its form [Ryuzen's DNA].
Also, Dr. Tucker is taking back all of his stolen project. What does he have in planning? Will he still be helping the heroes or not?
