Kei-Kei Yuki: So this chapter was inspired by a clip I saw of Hinata and Naruto, after the war and preparing for their wedding. I'll try and add more chapters showing them as a couple before they got married.

Pairings: Naruko x Sasuke, Fem!Iruka x Kakashi, Sakura x Lee, Hinata x Kiba, and the rest are canon.

Your Happiness

Walking down the village main street was a woman of average height, long brown tresses strung up in a low ponytail. The long forest green dress she was wearing could not hide the swell of her large stomach. There was a smile on her face as she actively listened to the shorter blonde walking next to her. The younger woman was running her mouth as usual, tan cheeks puffed out as her story had something to do with that fiancee of hers.

"I'm telling you, Ruka, every article of clothing I own he modified with the Uchiha symbol. Even my underwear and look!" Turning her back towards the brunette, the woman was both shocked and amused to see the proud and mighty Uchiha clan symbol on the back of Naruko's orange sweat jacket. The two were casually spending some time together, seeing as Iruka could use the exercise.

She was sick and tired of being stuck inside the house and guarded by Kakashi's dogs. Even though Iruka loved the man-proof of that was the ring that, as long as they both loved and cherished one another, would forever sit on the left hand of her fourth finger- the man's protective instincts, especially once he learned of Iruka's pregnancy, was annoying. Now Iruka knew that Kakashi loved her, but why were his ninkens scattered throughout their house?

She couldn't even go to the bathroom without encountering one of them. Iruka couldn't complain, finding his efforts of at least trying to cater to some of her needs cute, despite the heavy responsibility that came with the seat of being voted the sixth Hokage. A part of him would always be dedicated to providing Iruka and their unborn child the best in the world.

Seeing those sweet and foolish actions of his made her want to laugh and slap some sense into the man. Iruka would never forget the one morning where she woke up hungry for breakfast. Since Kakashi couldn't cook, skills worse than Sasuke's, the man had the balls to kidnap Naruko. Might she add that this was early in the morning, so Naruko was still groggy with sleep when the seal master found herself in the newlywed's apartment and not in her own lying next to Sasuke.

Seeing as his two year self-redemption journey was finally over, as he had stated to her that night that the man he was before, the one she'd beaten and brought back, was not fit to stand at her side. Saying how he needed to cleanse himself and that the man he was now, even though he was not perfect, was ready to try and be someone deserving of her love and respect.

It was the longest conversation Naruko had ever had with Sasuke since she brought him back, and honestly, she would have thought that their epic moment on the moon would be enough to show him just how much he meant to her. No matter how bruised or broken, she would open her arms out to him and embrace him.

Hell, they were the soulmates of two ancient gods, if he hadn't forgotten, but anyway, back to the main story, which would conclude with an angry Uchiha invading their home and getting into a fight with his ex-sensei. Iruka was not happy when they destroyed her vase of agapanthus, which was the wedding present Naruko had given her.

When that vase smashed to the ground, everyone came to a halt as at that moment, Kakashi knew he had fucked up. It was on this very same day that Sasuke came to fear the woman who now went by the name Hatake Iruka and finally understood how out of everyone in the village, only this sweet and caring chunin teacher was able to get an unruly and stubborn girl like Naruko under full control.

Back in the present, they could make out the visual figure of Sakura and Ino ahead of them and now walking towards their direction.

"So, Naru-chan, are you ready for your big day~!" Ino stood in front of the blonde, a teasing smile on her face as she watched the shorter girl begin to blush and embarrassingly puff her cheeks out in halfhearted anger.

"E-Embarrassed of w-what?! I'm just t-tying the k-knot with that annoying teme!" Naruko folded her arms across her chest, trying to act like her usual self but failed thanks to all the stuttering. Seeing this, both Sakura and Ino couldn't help but giggle and poke fun at the blonde.

"Sorry, but I'm a bit shocked at the fact that you and Sasuke are the first to get married out of the rookie nine," said Sakura, to which Ino agreed with a nod of her head.

"Yeah, I thought it would be Shikamaru and Temari first, then you guys second! But oh well, that sack of lazy bones still hasn't popped the question yet," complained Ino, hands resting at her hips as she tsked her tongue at a certain Nara who funnily enough was on a date with Temari when out of nowhere he sneezed.

"Wait! Me and the teme were ranked second place? Shouldn't it be shocking that we even ended up together in the first place?!" exclaimed Naruko, only to be met with blank stares from Sakura, Ino, and even Iruka.

"You're kidding, right? It was somewhat obvious you two would be together. I mean yeah as fangirls we were blind, but come on, Sasuke could only tolerate you, Naruko! While the other girls were all ignored." Secretly, Ino had to also give credit to Shikamaru, the responsible party for waking her younger self up to her false dream involving the handsome Uchiha. Don't even get Ino started when Sasuke had left; seeing the state the Uchiha left both Sakura and Naruko in had destroyed any lasting affection she had for him.

"Besides, Sasuke-kun only came back because of you, Naruko, and let us not forget about your romantic moment on the moon. I think it ended with a k-"!

Jumping in before the sneaky pink-haired medical ninja could finish, Naruko interrupted with a loud shout, face flushed with embarrassment, waving her hands in the front of Sakura's face. Seeing such an adorable expression come from their reckless and tomboy friend who rarely showed this cute girly side of herself issued more teasing from both Ino and Sakura. The flustered blonde was weak against their assault, especially when they brought Sasuke's name into the mix.

Iruka stood there on the sidelines, eyes on the three girls standing before her, and felt a sense of nostalgia hit her. The young Yamaka heiress had grown out of her fangirl ways, having grown into a refined and beautiful kunoichi, valuing the bonds of friendship and becoming an excellent leader of the Yamanaka Clan. Moving her eyes off Ino, Iruka placed them on the woman standing beside her.

Gifted in the art of healing and blessed with intelligence, Sakura was no longer that shy child, head filled with naive thoughts pointed only towards romance. Over the course of time, she had truly blossomed into a splendid woman after having experienced the heartbreak and trails of both life and love. Standing there next to Ino, pink strands of hair resting down her back, eyes bright like emeralds, Sakura was finally in full bloom.

Speaking of Naruko, the blonde was in her orange unzipped sweat jacket that she wore pushed down on her shoulders; a plain white t-shirt could be spotted underneath, which she paired with black shorts. Even after maturing into a grown woman, Naruko's love for orange still had not died. The little girl she picked up off the streets and raised in her home had finally left her nest, preparing herself for the next journey of her life shared with the person she fought tooth and nail to bring back.

Naruko had suffered a lot when Sasuke defected from the village, even though she smiled, joked, and acted like her usual stubborn and reckless self. If one were to take a closer look, they could see the pain in her eyes. How at night she would always look at the moon while holding Sasuke's headband. There also times when she thought no one was looking, she would sometimes look towards her right, expecting a certain someone to be standing by her side, only for her eyes to dim when she saw nothing but a vacant spot.

Life had thrown many hurdles towards her sweet little Naru-chan, but Naruko wasn't one to stay beaten and defeated. She faced them head-on and ran towards her dreams. If Iruka was honest, she hadn't forgiven Sasuke for all the things he had done and was still upset with him, but he was the man Naruko had chosen, and Iruka was going to stick by her side.

Because this was Naruko's life to live and Iruka wished for nothing but for her daughter to be happy.

End of Your Happiness!
