A/N: Hey, guys! In the previous chapter, Fox passed Area 6 and destroyed the Gorgon, the final defense weapon! Now, he and his team can reach Venom. Let's start!

At Corneria, Beltino was a little anxious. He knew that his son knew how to look after himself, but that didn't stop him from worrying about him. Grippy noticed it.

''Everything OK, Beltino?'' he asked.

''I'm fine, Grippy. I was thinking about Slippy. He has never been so far from the planet, let alone for so long. If he misses us, I don't blame him.'' said Beltino.

''I'm worried about Slippy too. The only thing we can do is wait.'' said Grippy, putting a hand on his brother's shoulder.

''How about calling him?''

''Sure. I hope he's all right.''

Meanwhile, on the Great Fox, Slippy has almost finished repairing the Arwings. To do this, he had to work a full day, so Peppy helped him finish. Suddenly, he heard a sound from the nearby screen.

''Slippy, I think there is a call.'' said Peppy.

The bullfrog checked and saw that it was from his father and uncle, and asked his friends to stay close to him before starting the call. ''Hello?''

''Slippy! Are you all right, nephew?'' said Grippy.

''Dad! Uncle Grippy! We just successfully passed Area 6, and we will soon be able to reach Venom. We're almost there now!'' he said.

''Great! I see that your friends are also with you!'' exclaimed Beltino. ''Are you OK, everyone?''

''It was very tough, Beltino. Our Arwings have suffered a lot of damage, but since Slippy has almost finished repairing them, we will leave shortly.'' said Peppy.

''Take care of him, okay?'' Grippy asked.

''Sure. That's what friends do.'' replied Fox.

''OK. I'll leave you guys. Good luck!'' said Beltino.

''Thanks, Dad! We will defeat Andross! I promise!'' said Slippy, and the call ended.

Shortly thereafter, Slippy finished repairing the Arwings.

''This is it, guys! This mission will be the showdown. It's time for Andross to pay for what he did and for those who died because of him!'' shouted Fox, and everyone cheered.

''Well said, Fox! I can't wait to take him down!'' cried Falco excitedly.

The four began to walk towards the docking bridge, then slowly began to pick up speed and run faster and faster, reaching the door and entering their Arwings.

''Everyone's ready!'' said Slippy.

''You can do it, Fox! It's time for you to finish what your father started!'' said Peppy.

''Ready to go! Venom, here we come!'' Fox shouted, determined as never before. The Arwings left quickly and entered the surface of Venom. The place was dark, but luckily Slippy had modified the systems to better see the dark surface of the planet.

(''FIGHT! Ver. 1 - Grandia 2 OST'')

A lot of enemies appeared out of nowhere and attacked the Star Fox.

''They're everywhere! I don't see anything!'' shouted Peppy, who was hit by some shots that reduced his shield gauge to 89%.

''It's time to show these monkey who's boss!'' yelled Falco.

''There are so many! They seem to never end!'' said Slippy, worried.

A minute later, all enemies were eliminated, allowing Fox and the others to continue.

''Fox, don't you die, okay?'' asked Falco.

''I will not die. Not today. We will win the war, I am sure of it.'' replied the fox.

''We must stick together! Let's work together!'' Peppy remembered, while defeating some enemies.

Slippy chased six more enemy fighters. ''You'll be sorry, you punks!'' he yelled, before defeating them.

Shortly thereafter, the group reached a crossroads that led to what looked like a maze.

''Let's split up. We will cover more ground.'' Fox commanded. ''I'm going to the left.''

''I'm going to the right.'' said Peppy.

"I'll take the left.'' said Falco.

"I'm going left. said Slippy.

The four, although separated, managed to get away with it. After the first part, Fox, Slippy and Falco went to the right, while Peppy took the left.

The rabbit sensed something towards Fox. ''Be careful, Fox! A trap!'' he shouted. Rock pillars sprouted from the ground, but Fox avoided them without problems. Lots of metal cubes also appeared, but the young leader managed to dodge these too.

When everyone got together, a pile of pillars appeared.

''Oh-oh. This looks bad. Can we make it?'' asked Slippy nervously.

All began to shoot and break down all the pillars, allowing Fox to avoid them. Andross sent them a threatening message. ''You can never defeat me! You will die here!'' he shouted.

''It's certainly Andross! Slippy, how far is it?'' asked the fox.

''I would say that we have almost reached his lair. It seems to be beyond that temple. We will fly over it and wait for you on the other side, while you check if there is something strange. Good luck!'' replied Slippy.

(''Boss Battle! - Pokémon Mystery Dungeon OST'')

After a short time, Fox saw what appeared to be a huge stone golem, which was... running away?

''There is a golem over there. But it seems it's running away. I don't understand.'' he said.

Slippy started a remote analysis. ''It's Golemech. Almost nothing is known about it, only it is a golem of ancient origins. Maybe it's a clue to the presence of ancient tribes, but I don't know. With its fists, it can make pillars collapse and hit the walls, altering the tunnel and narrowing the free space, so avoid all obstacles and fire at will. When it is damaged enough, its mechanical components will be exposed. It seems to be the last defense before reaching Andross' lair.'' he said.

''Go after it, but don't get too close, otherwise its fists will hit you!'' said Falco.

By avoiding all the obstacles, Fox managed to destroy the organic compositions of the Golemech, which was now even more aggressive.

''Watch out, Fox!'' Peppy shouted.

The young fox noticed it, dodging all the stone walls and shooting the mechanical parts of the golem, then destroyed it with a bomb in the back and joined the others.

''Here I am!'' said the leader.

''You made it! Are you okay?'' asked Slippy.

''Not even a scratch.'' said Fox.

''Nice, son. Andross' lair is right up there.'' said Peppy.

''Say your prayers, Andross!'' said Fox, determined to put an end to the Lylat Wars.
