17. Update Notice

This isn't the update I know some of you wanted to see, and it's not one I wanted to give either.

First things first, this isn't me cancelling the story or anything like that. No way. I'm not to do that again, I intend to finish the story this time around and I will do that no matter how I have to. In fact, chapter 17 is almost halfway completed.

However, circumstances have changed for me so rapidly in the past three hours that I don't think it's the right move for me to continue writing for the time being.

This isn't so much an "update" but more of a notice that I'm probably going to be away from the site and Fanfiction as a whole for a while. Something that isn't my place to comment on has happened, and I would respect it if I'm left alone in all forms for a while, including PMs.

I don't know how long I'll be away for, it could be anywhere from a week to about a month. I'll still be periodically working on the next chapter, but this event has really shaken my whole family and it would be quite disrespectful, in my opinion, if I didn't devote nearly all my time to them these next few days or weeks.

So yeah. This is just how it's going to have to be. I'll remove this when the chapter is in its proper place, but for now, this is it.

I really didn't want to do this, but I'm bound out of respect for what happened to do so. I hope you understand.
