The days passed by quickly, and Ben saw less and less of Rey. He knew that she was out on missions, but it was still hard on him. He felt like all he could do was pace his room, listening to the updates from Hux's mission and worrying that his mother and the resistance may not make it out in time. It left him with a lot of time to think about what he had done over the years and he was coming to the conclusion that if he didn't make it out of this battle, then that may be for the best. It wouldn't equalize any of the things he'd done, but it would save his mother from having to make a difficult decision. It would also give Rey a chance to start over. He knew she would follow him to the ends of the galaxy, but he didn't want her to throw away her life, her future, for him. Not when he knew she had a great support system. He couldn't ask her to trade all of her friends and new-found family for him. He sighed, raking his hand through his hair as he laid on his bed. She deserved so much more, and she could do so much better than him. His mind raced quickly around all the different possibilities of what could happen to him... to them after all the dust settled. Sleep wasn't going to come easily for him today.

Rey paced back and forth in their dream world. She had tried to copy the setup that Ben had of what he thought their house would look like. She changed a few colors here and there, but didn't do anything too drastic.

"What is taking him so long?" She muttered. She hadn't seen him in days. Her sleep schedule was so messed up from all the traveling she had been doing with Finn and Poe. Part of her had debated on going to see what was happening with him, but she decided against it. He would be there soon. She knew it. She just had to be patient. She sat down on the couch and puffed out her cheeks, holding a pillow to her chest.

"Ben, where are you?" she murmured.

Ben finally let the sleep claim him, seeing Rey sit on the couch. He had heard her and sighed.

"I'm right here, Sunshine," Ben replied, scooping her up in his arms.

"Ben!" Rey said in delight before wrapping her arms around his neck and pulling him close. "I know I haven't seen you in days. It's just... the missions have been all over the place and I-"

Ben cut her off with a kiss. She sighed into it before he pulled back and rested his forehead against hers. "It's okay, I know."

Rey rested her head against his shoulder, looking up at him. "Can I ask you something?"

"Of course," Ben smiled.

"Would you be able to get away to meet me the day before the battle?" Rey asked, hopefully.

Ben smiled. "I actually meant to tell you about that last time. Naboo is halfway between the two of us," he replied as he stroked her cheek. "We could meet there."

"That would be perfect," Rey replied, "Would you stay the night? Your mother gave me permission to leave as long as I was back to the fleet before the battle began."

Ben looked down at her, "Would you me to stay the night?"

Rey bit her lip and nodded, looking up at him. "I would."

Ben swallowed, thinking of all the implications of those two words. "Okay, then I'll stay the night," he nodded. "I'll meet you there the day before."

He smoothed her hair back from her face, just holding her in his lap. He could feel her breathing start to slow. He knew she was tired, and he loved her enough to let her sleep instead of trying to keep talking to her for his own amusement. Just being there, holding her like this, was enough. He rested his cheek against the top of her head and let her presence sooth him into sleep.

Rey woke with a start, to a pounding on her door.

"Time to wake up, Princess," Poe called through the door. He was smirking at himself at the use of the new nickname he had given her. Everyone treated her like she was royalty because she could use the force. "Wheel's up in 20."

Rey groaned, pulling herself out of bed and opening the door. "Poe, we just got back."

"I'm aware, but in case you've forgotten, you and your boyfriend decided to end the war in less than two weeks. That does leave a lot of work to be done and a lot of supplies to be gathered," Poe replied with a smirk.

Rey rolled her eyes, "Fine. I'll be out in ten."

"Five," Poe corrected.

"You're killing me," she groaned.

"You're the one who stopped to complain. You could've been dressed and ready to go by now," Poe teased.

Rey slammed the door in his face and quickly changed her clothes before heading back out to the ships. She reached the Falcon, powering up the ship.

Chewwie looked at her sideways.

"Look, I know I look like terrible. I haven't had a normal night of sleep in a week," Rey remarked.

Chewwie shook his head and started his pre-takeoff checklist. After they both were positive that they were ready, she commed for Poe and Finn.

"Ready when you are," Rey told them.

The two of them rolled up to the bridge and sat down in the chairs behind them.

"You checked the hyperdrive?" Poe asked.

"Mhm," Rey replied.

"How about the accelerator?"

"Already done."

"And the fuel?"

"Poe, do you just want to pilot this yourself?" Rey snapped.

Poe shrugged, getting up from his chair, "Well, I wouldn't want to impose..."

"Sit down! That was not an offer," Rey chuckled. "You have your X-wing. The Falcon is mine and Chewwie's. We've been over this."

Poe sighed, "Yeah, yeah..."

Rey rolled her eyes and prepared for take off. She was grateful that today was the last day of supply runs before they started stocking the ships. Then, in three days she would be shipping out to see Ben, and then... then they would be ending a war and making history. She shook her head a bit as she flew, she knew it would be fast when they moved the time table, but the days have been flying by. She felt like she was constantly in motion. After all this was over, she was looking forward to just being in one place for more than a couple hours. She couldn't lie to herself, though. She was nervous about Ben. She didn't know what would happen to him after this was all over.

"Are you okay, princess?" Poe asked, "You're usually more talkative."

"Can I ask you guys something?" Rey asked, looking at their faces in the window glass.

"Of course, Rey," Finn replied.

"What do you think will happen to Ben after all of this?"

Poe let out a breath, "Shit, princess, I mean, if he survives the battle... he'll probably be taken into custody. Then, it'll be up to a military tribunal to decide his fate."

"But, what options would there be?" Rey asked, her brow furrowed.

"Well, when it comes to war crimes, it can be anything from jail or exile to execution," Poe responded.

"What do you think will happen?" Finn asked.

"Honestly, hon," Poe sighed, "I don't know. If you had talked to me a week ago, I would have said execution, but if he can prove that he can he has changed and that he is sorry for what he did, then you'd get jail or exile. But, if he were to be exiled then there's the trust issue. We'd have to trust that he wouldn't try to do anything drastic."

"What if... there was a check? A way to make sure he won't do anything drastic?" Rey asked, slightly hopeful.

"You mean you? Would you be willing to spend your life trapped on one planet so that you can babysit him when you know the world is out there?" Poe asked.

"I'll already have the world if I just have him," Rey murmured.

"How come you never say anything sweet like that about me?" Finn asked Poe.

"I say sweet things all the time!" Poe deflected.

"Yeah, but not like that," Finn replied.

Poe rolled his eyes, "But, Rey, the problem would be convincing whoever is in charge of the trial. It wouldn't be Leia. She's too close to the situation."

Rey nodded as she sighed, "I was afraid of that."

"Well, there's nothing we can do about it right now. Planet's coming into view. Everyone ready to do this?" Poe asked, grabbing his blaster. This planet was controlled by pirates. Leia had promised them that it would be a peaceful deal, but Poe knew from stories that he shouldn't go unarmed.

"Let's do this," Finn said, slapping his hands together.
