Ben is opening the boom tube followed by Zatanna, John Constantine, Deadman, Etrigan, Black Canary, Captain Atom, Starfire and Blue Beetle. While Cyborg is opening the boom tube followed by Batman, two Green Lanterns (John Stewart and Jessica Cruz), Superboy, Wonder Woman, Black Lightning, Green Arrow, Flash, and Red Tornado.
The whole team arrives in Cairo. where Hex is in the middle of his magic transforms into a gate at a mystical shrine, allowing Dr. Destiny to travel to Earth to unleashed his full wrath.
The whole team are about to strike the mystical shrine, but some of the Justice League members who are still being possessed by Shadow demons, Superman, Supergirl, Robin (Tim Drake), Nightwing, Scarlet Speedster (Wally West), Kid Flash (Bart Allen), Aqualad (Kaldur'ahm), Green Lantern (Guy Gardner), Shazam, Wonder Girl (Cassie Sandsmark), and Troia (Donna Troy).
Ben: We don't have time for this! We need to get in the shrine now!
Ben transforms into Ghostfreak
Batman is upgrading his suit into nanotech suit, which has rocket boots, enhanced strength, and other available arsenal. He duels against Superman. Once Batman grabs Superman, he secretly had a Kryptonite sword.
Batman: I'm sorry Clark...
Batman uses the Kyptonite sword to stab through his thighs. At the air, Batman and Superman fell while Superman breaks free from 's possession.
Batman: You'll be fine, you'll heal
Superman: I know...
Shazam charges towards the team, then Zatanna uses her spell to stop Shazam
Zatanna: Trulb tuo "Mazahs"!
Shazam: SHAZAM!
Zatanna uses her spell to make Shazam shout "Shazam!" It turns Shazam into Billy Batson. Then Wonder Woman binds Billy with her lasso break him free from Trigon
Wonder Woman: The lasso compells you to obey my command!
Billy: Gaaaahhhh!
Bily finally breaks free from the Shadow demon
Then Ghostfreak and Deadman possessed Nightwing and Robin to break free from Trigon's control.
After couple of fights due to the attempts of Wonder Woman lasso, and Ghostfreaks and Deadman possessing, Superman, Supergirl, Robin (Tim Drake), Nightwing, Scarlet Speedster (Wally West), Kid Flash (Bart Allen), Aqualad (Kaldur'ahm), Green Lantern (Guy Gardner), Shazam, Wonder Girl (Cassie Sandsmark), and Troia (Donna Troy) are all free from Shadow demon's possession. But it was all too late when Hex's spell is complete and breaking lose Dr. Destiny to possessed Hex to become an all powerful sorcerer
Dr. Destiny uses power shield to protect himself, even Deadman break through the shield. Then Ghostfreak transforms into Chromastone
Chromastone and the rest of the team are fending of Dr. Destiny (possessing Hex's Body) but protect by a powerful magical sheidl and it doesn't seemed to break at all. Yet he used to power magic to defeat the rest of the team.
Wonder Woman: Great Hera... (while injured)
Blue Beetle: We are so screwed... (while injured)
John came up with an idea.
John Constantine: Not exactly. (then turned his attention to Boston) Boston! I've got a plan
John steps forward to grab Dr. Destiny's attention
Dr Destiny (possessing Hex's body): You dare challange me mortal?
Dr Destiny uses his magic to grab John Constantine through the shield
Dr Destiny (possessing Hex's body): I will make you beg for-
John Constantine: Can I beg you to stop talking? You chatter like my grandmother at the book club.
Dr Destiny (possessing Hex's body): I will tear your soul apart!
John Constantine: NOW BOSTON!
Deadman appeared hiding inside John's body, then possessed Dr. Destiny because the trick works to get through the magical shield
Dr. Destiny soul fleeing Hex's body, leaving Hex powerless.
Dr Destiny (now a soul): Fool! without the Dreamstone, I can still-
Zatanna: Laever eht Enotsmaerd ot em
The Dreamstone teleported towards Zatanna by her magic
Zatanna: Oww I've come prepared...
After the Dreamstone was revealed, Etrigan summoned a sword from his magic and the breaks the Dreamstone
Dr Destiny (now a soul): Noooo!
Dr. Destiny soul is fading
Then Hex began to regain conscious. But the shroud spirits of Death are going to picking up Hex's soul
Hex: No. Nooo... Please, stay back!
The shroud spirits of Death: You're time is up Hex... (speaking to him in a ghouling voice)
The shroud spirits of Death picking up Hex's soul and dragging it to Hell, while Hex's body is dead
Hex (now a soul): No. NOOOOO!
Some of the heroes are felt the creep, even for Ben.
Ben: Okay. That's just way too creepy for me...
