Chapter 17 (Epilogue Part 1)

Edge of the World (Place between the Shinobi and Modern World)

"Tenten, wake up..."

"Tenten..."

A familiar voice calling out her name. She suddenly felt a strong tap on her right shoulder that made her wake up. She found herself lying on the ground- at the edge of a cliff- where she first met the shinobi Tenten.

"Finally you're awake." The familiar voice spoke again- getting her attention.

She sat up and look beside her and saw the shinobi Tenten- smiling at her while sitting next to her. Both of them wearing the same usual 'shinobi Tenten's white chinese-inspired uniform.

"Hey. Why am I here?" Modern Tenten asked.

"We died- physically. We are in the form of our soul." Shinobi Tenten simply answered.

Modern Tenten suddenly remembered what happened that made her smile.

"Finally, I've got to do our purpose. To protect and save our friends."

Shinobi Tenten nodded slowly, "Thank you for protecting our friends. I failed to do that myself."

"Well, you did now."

Shinobi Tenten just nodded again, her eyes focusing in the low clouds under the cliff.

"Did I... defied Neji's fate? I saw your memories of him dying in the middle of the war and your memories after he died." Modern Tenten said.

There was a long pause before Shinobi Tenten spoke.

"The memories I shared with you on the last minute was... was our first life. When I died in that life because of old age, and despite my attempts of killing myself... luckily, I was still sent in the Pure Land. The guardian of the Pure Land- out of pity, she had given me a second chance... a chance to live that life again and erase the biggest regret I had in that life... and you know what it was, it was not being able to protect and save Neji. But while doing my mission of changing his fate, you suddenly came- my future self from hundred of years later- taking my body in. Really, the fate was playing games on me. But the two of us- having the same soul, we share the same thoughts and purpose: to save and protect a friend." She started telling her tale.

For Modern Tenten, it was alot to take in. She was surprised hearing her story. And she remembered the reason why she was sent in the shinobi world was because of Neji. He called for them, for her- begged for their life when both Tenten were in the verge of dying. It was like he called their souls.

"You instantly died after being hit by multiple wood projectiles."

"Instant death, huh. How about Neji? I'm hoping he's alive." Modern Tenten commented.

"He... died as well."

"WHAT?! HOW?!" Modern Tenten exclaimed and looking at her other self with shocked expression.

Shinobi Tenten finally look at her, "He died saving you. He shielded you from the wood projectiles that pierced you still. I guess, it was really his time- his choice most especially, to die in that battle by saving Hinata and you- us. But you did our purpose and defied our fate, Tenten."

Modern Tenten was speechless. Shinobi Tenten smiled at her before standing up from sitting position, and offering her right hand for her which she immediately took.

"We need to go now." Shinobi Tenten said when Modern Tenten was already standing up.

"Where to?"

"You need to go back in your modern world, while I need to go back to the Pure Land so you will exist."

"But... Neji..."

"He promised that he will find us- in every world that exist. I'm wishing that he will find you in the modern world."

"But what if he didn't-"

"Belive that he will. He got no choice after all, he's tied to you and me."

"Tenten-"

"Tenten, thank you for defying our fate. All I wish for us in the future is to live the life we always wanted. A family, friends, marry, have children and grow old with the man we love. I wish we can make it." Shinobi Tenten said while smiling sincerely before pushing her off the cliff.

"Fucking Tenten!" Modern Tenten screams while falling.

Modern World

Konoha City

"Tenten, wake up..."

The first time Tenten opened her eyes- 2 days after she she had a cardiac arrest-, she was welcomed my multiple pairs of gentle crying eyes and warm hugs from her family. Kagami immediately hugged her and cried on her small shoulder while Shisui hold her hands tightly like his life depended on her. Both men whispering their thanks to the almighty heaven for making Tenten alive and awake.

"D-Dad... Shisui-nii... Sasuke..." Tenten called, her voice sounded raspy and strained.

Looking at Sasuke, who's standing on the side of her bed, just behind Shisui, the youngest Uchiha couldn't stop himself from crying like a child- telling her that from now onwards, he will never snatch the biggest piece of steak from Tenten- which made Tenten laugh- but immediately stopped from laughing- as she felt pain on her rib cage.

Seeing her pained expression, Sasuke immediately left the room and call for the doctors.

Tenten turned to look at her father and older brother's face. She couldn't believe seeing them again.

"I-I'm back..." she muttered, confusedly looking at her small family and their surrounding.

Tenten is sure that she's back in her modern world- in the Konoha City. All traces of her surrounding shouts modernization and luxury- where the old shinobi Konoha lacks. The air circling around her room in't as natural fresh air (like the shinobi Konoha have)- but a humified air.

'What happened? What made me come back?' She initially thought.

Then the answer for her questions, comes after. It's... 'Death.'

She suddenly remember dying in the middle of the war- protecting her friends... Tears start rolling down her face as she remembers her Team Guy, her Konoha 12 friends and the war she left behind. Her aches in longing and sadness for leaving them behind. She didn't even had a proper goodbye to her friends and team before she died. And the thought of Neji dying as well hurts her heart even more.

Kagami and Shisui started panicking when they saw their only girl crying. Kagami embraced her brokenness while Shisui followed Sasuke outside to call for the doctors.

"Ten, why are you crying? Are you hurting somewhere?" Kagami asked, panicky.

Tenten remain crying. She should be happy that she's finally back in her real world but she can't help but miss the family she made in that shinobi world. In the same time, feeling the warmth and love of her father and older brother took over her longing for that world.

"D-Dad... I... I miss you..." She cried, hugging her father and resting her forehead on Kagami's chest.

Kagami's hug tighten, and Tenten heard her father's sobbing.

"I miss you so much, everyday, darling. Thank you for coming back to us." Kagami cried.

When the door swung open and two Uchiha men came back together with Dr. Tsunade and Dr. Shizune and other few nurses, they watch the emotional scene between father and daughter. Shisui immediately went closer to them.

"Guys, don't forget about me." Shisui said and joined his father and younger sister, hugging them both.

Tenten looked up to her older brother and smiled gently at him.

"I miss you, niisan... I miss you both... Dad, niisan... you never left my mind. Thinking of you kept me alive." Tenten said looking at them.

"Tenny... sorry, niisan failed to protect you." Shisui cried.

Tenten chuckled with tears on her eyes, "Don't be sorry, niisan. It wasn't your fault... and I'm already okay." She answered.

"It's my responsibility as your older brother to always keep you safe-"

"Please don't blame yourself Shisui-nii. You always protected me eversince we were kids. I haven't tell you but you were the best brother I ever had."

Shisui chuckled, "Of course I am your only brother, I should be the best."

After their heart warming reunion, Dr. Tsunade and Dr. Shizune conducted a general check up on her. Tenten learned from her two doctors that she broke 8 of her ribs and had brain hemorrhage from the accident- and that she was in comatose state in the past 1 month. She couldn't believe the severity of the injuries she obtained from that accident- her body was good as dead.

"2 days ago you had cardiac arrest, we almost lost you but luckily you came back. For now, I can say that you're doing good and healing from the injuries. We'll just have to wait for the result of the scans." Dr. Tsunade informed them.

"How are you feeling, Tenten?" Dr. Shizune asked, her voice sounded so gentle.

Tenten remembers their counterparts in the shinobi world. Lady Tsunade, the Hokage and Shizune, her assistance (carrying Tonton with her). Both of them were medical kunoichis.

"I... I'm feeling better. Thank you, Dr. Tsunade and Dr. Shizune."

Both doctors smiled at her before they bid their goodbyes. But before they even turn around to leave the room, Tenten called them again, and both doctors immediately gave her a glance.

"What?" Dr. Tsunade asked confusedly.

"Thank you very much... for taking care of me multiple times." Tenten sincerely thanked them, with hidden meaning.

She's thankful the two doctors not just for taking care of her in this world but also in the shinobi world.

"Oh, you're welcome Tenten. We wish you fast recovery. If you need anything, just tell us." Shizune said, smiling.

Couple of hours after she gain her consciousness, her other family members visited her. Mikoto and Rin cried in happiness after seeing her finally awake. Fugaku's serious face- soften and Obito immediately tell her stories about how her Shisui and Sasuke argue (about her well being) in the past 1 month.

"That's because that brat gets under my skin!" Shisui said.

"Don't call me brat, you old man!" Sasuke uttered.

"What did you just call me, brat?" Shisui snapped, caging Sasuke's neck on his right arm.

Sasuke tried to break free, "Let go of me, old man! Niisan, help!"

Itachi shook his head and glance at Tenten, and immediately met her eyes.

"Itachi nii..." Tenten called, gesturingto come closer to her.

"Tenten." Itachi said as soon as he arrive beside her.

Tenten opened her arms widely and Itachi immediately hug her, caressing her hair playfully.

"I'm glad you're awake, Tenten. You scared us big time." Itachi said.

"I miss you too, Itachi-nii. I'm sure you watched over my men while I was unconscious. Thank you niisan."

Itachi pulled away from their hug and smiled at her, "Now that you're back, I'll give you back the duty of watching them."

Tenten nodded as an agreement.

An hour after her Uncles and Aunties arrived, Temari Sands alongside her two younger brothers Kankuro and Gaara arrived in her room. Temari ran towards her and reach for a tight embrace.

"Tenny! You're awake!" Temari said, tightening her embrace even more.

"Temmy, I can't... breathe..."

"You, stupid girl! What were you thinking? You're too selfless!" Temari said.

Tenten chuckled but she stopped when she felt her shoulder getting wet. She hugged Temari back.

"I know you were proud of me. I miss you so so much Temari!" Tenten said.

"Of course I am! You saved a little kid. I miss you so much Tenten! Don't leave us again." Temari whispered while crying silently on her bestfriend's shoulder.

Later in the morning the following day, a soft knock on her room grabbed Tenten's attention- pausing her from talking to her brother.

The door opened slowly revealing a familiar person- someone very close to her heart. Her jaw dropped watching the man entering her room with a smile pastered on his face while holding a bouquet of yellow roses.

"Hm... Hi, Tenten." He greeted shyly.

A tear escaped her eyes. She couldn't believe seeing him here in her world- her heart aches in longing. How she misses him badly.

Lee...

She couldn't help supressing her sobs and she broke down.

Shisui immediately embrace her while Lee looked at her with shock expression.

"I-I'm sorry... Did we scare her?" Lee asked Shisui confusedly.

Tenten shook her head, trying to calm down. She looked at him and smiled,

"I-I'm sorry, you just looked like my close friend." Tenten said.

Lee laugh, "I see. You must be missing your friend a lot."

Tenten nodded while wiping her tears away, "Yes, I am."

"My name is Rock Lee, by the way. And this is my wife, Azami and my son Metal." He introduced.

"It's nice to finally meet my son's saviour. Thank you very much, Ms. Tenten Uchiha. And we're very sorry, it was our fault why this happened to you." Azami said.

"His kid was the one you saved, Ten." Shisui informed her.

"Oh, it's fine. I don't blame you at all. It was my choice to save him."

Tenten smiled at them and looked at the kid, waving her hand.

Lee handed Metal the bouquet of flower and the kid walks towards her and quietly handed out the flower to her. Tenten chuckled before accepting the flower. She carress the young boy's bowl cut hair and reach out to carry him and settle beside her.

"I'm glad your son, Metal, is safe, Lee." Tenten said gently, while playing Metal's hair.

Tenten never regretted saving the kid, but knowing that the kid was Lee's son made her heart light- like she never regretted it twice much. She was glad that she had saved Lee's son.

Lee was surprised hearing his nickname from Tenten's mouth so comfortably- the person he just met personally for the first time.

Tenten glance at him, "I'm sorry, can I call you Lee?" she asked after seeing his expression.

Lee chuckled, "O-Of course, you can."

"Nice to meet you both Lee and Azami. Just call me Tenten." Tenten said offering her hand to them which they gladly took.

"Thank you very much, Tenten. We owe you a lot. If it wasn't because of you, our son wouldn't be here anymore." Lee sincerely said.

"It's fine, I'm glad to be a help." Tenten said and she felt Metal's small hand touching her left hand while looking at her with a wide smile.

"Oh, darling... do you like Tenten?" Azami asked gently.

Metal nodded, eyes focused on her with his smile growing wider, "She... beautiful... very... much..." the kid said, playing her fingers.

Tenten chuckled, "Thank you, Metal. I like you too..."

That day Tenten learned the Lee and Azami are both older than her by 3 years and they're 21 years old. They had Metal in an early age. Lee told her that he works in the Hyuga Hotels as one of the hotel's branch manager, while Azami works as a dance instructor. She also become friends with them by the end of the day and exchange contacts with each other to have a continuous communication.

Tenten stayed in the hospital for another 3 days before Dr. Tsunade gave her a 'go signal' to leave the hospital. When she went home with her father and older brother, she was welcomed with a small party consisting of her family and friends.

She saw the Sands siblings, Ino, Sakura, Shino, Shikamaru, Lee, Azami and Metal. Metal immediately ran towards her and hug onto her legs.

"Aunt beauty!" The kid greeted.

Tenten laugh and hold his small hand as she walk towards her friends.

"Tenten!" Ino and Sakura immediately ran towards her, behind them are Shino and Shikamaru.

Tenten hugged both girls while they whisper their happiness because of her being alive and well. Shino and Shikamaru hugged her as well whispering 'welcome back Tenten'.

The Sands sibling also went towards them and gave Tenten a hug.

Tenten introduced the Sands siblings to Ino, Sakura, Shino and Shikamaru. But Kankuro immediately cut her off.

"No need, Tenny. We already know each other. We met them couple of times in the hospital." Kankuro told her.

"Really?" Tenten asked, surprised.

"Yes! Whenever we pay you a visit, they're in your room. We also met twice in the coffee shop few blocks from the hospital." Ino added.

"That's good! I hope you guys be friends as well." Tenten commented.

She then saw Lee on the background and remember Konoha 12. Tenten called for Lee and Azami.

"This are Rock Lee and his wife, Azami, and this little kid, Metal, is their son. Lee, Azami... these are my friends, Temari, Kankuro, Gaara, Ino, Sakura, Shino and Shikamaru."

"Hi Lee and Azami. It's nice to meet you both." Sakura said.

Sasuke joined them as well. She noticed that Sasuke and Sakura were being too close. But what shocked her the most was seeing Temari and Shikamaru comfortably talking with each other throughout the night. She didn't expected it all from her snobby bestfriend and with Shikamaru of all people- laziest one who find female population so troublesome.

Ino told her that they passed the Elec1010, and got a grade of 100 for their project. Tenten was also informed after by Shisui that she have to take final exams in each of her classes so she can move up to the next level.

Lee's family went home first because of Metal. Next to them were Shino, Sakura, Shikamaru and Ino- and Sasuke joined them too (because of Sakura). While the Sands siblings will gonna stay in their home until they have to go back in Suna City the next week.

"Good night girls. Temari don't let Tenny stay up late, she needs to rest and recover." Kagami said.

"Oh okay, Mr. Uchiha. I'll try not to make her stay up for too late." Temari said.

"Good night, dad." Tenten said and gave her Dad a good night hug.

"Good night, darling."

Arriving in Tenten's room, Temari immediately lay down on her bed and patted the space next to her- which Tenten lay down on that side and both of them staring at the ceiling.

"I... I'm so happy to see well again, Tenten." Temari said softly, still staring at the ceiling.

Tenten's lips form a smile slowly. She knows that tonight, she'll finally hear Temari's inner mind. She remained silent and wait for her.

"I was really scared when I heard about your accident... and even more terrified when I got informed by your Dad that you were in coma. I thought we're gonna lose you days ago... I hated you for being so selfless- for sacrificing yourself for a stranger- looking at your unconscious body lying on that bed- I really wanted to kick your ass so you'd wake up... but you're Tenten- you're that selfless. You're being you and I still love you for that..."

Tenten saw tears flowing on Temari's temple- which she immediately reach for it and wipe her tears away.

"I love you too, Temari." She gently said.

Temari turned her head and faced her, "Tenten... can you promise me one thing?"

"Huh?"

"Can you behave once in awhile and don't get in trouble please? I don't want to lose you. We don't want to lose you."

Tenten silenty cry and hugged her bestfriend.

"I'm sorry for making you worried."

"Promise me, okay?"

"I'll try." She said sheepishly while wiping her tears.

"Tss..."

Tenten chuckled, "How about you tell me what's going on between you and Shikamaru?"

Temari immediately got up and cannot even look at her- that made Tenten laugh, her bestfriend is being shy. Tenten nudged her side.

"You like him, eh?"

Temari shot her a deathly glare, "Shut up Tenten and go to sleep!"

The following days, Tenten spent her time with her family and the Sands siblings. Her father's still didn't go back to work because he's looking after her and making sure that she's recovering better. He accompanied her during her check up 3 days after her discharge while Shisui works in replacement for their father- which Shisui find so unfair.

One week after her discharge, Temari accompanied her 2 consecutive days to the University, so she can take her final examinations. On the last day of her exam, they went to the coffee house to hangout. But upon entering the coffee house, she was very surprised to bumped into a familiar person she didn't expect to see. Her brown eyes widened after meeting his pale lavender eyes as her heart started to beat rapidly.

"I'm sorry, Miss..." The man spoke in strong but polite voice.

Her eyes roam around his figure. He looked exactly the same as she last saw him in the war.

"K-Ko..." She whispered.

The man looked at her in confusion. "Excuse me, do I know you?" He asked.

Tenten flushed in embarassment, "N-No... I'm sorry."

"Have we met before? You seemed to know my name..." He asked, started to get interested.

Tenten was speechless. She didn't know what to answer. To add to her embarassment, Temari nudged her side and asked if she know the guy- she asked that in front of him!

"No, I don't think so..." She half lied.

"What's your name?" Ko asked, suddenly getting interested.

Tenten blinked couple of times, unsure of what to answer, "Tenten... Tenten Uchiha."

"Pleasure to meet you, Tenten. Do you study in the University?"

"Likewise... Ah, yes..."

"I see... I need to go. I'll see around!" He said, smiling before leaving the coffee house.

Temari immediately pulled her to seat in one of the table while giving her teasing smile. Tenten rolled her eyes,

"Don't start, Temari. I don't like him. NO." She said.

If Ko exist here, then there's a possibility that Neji is here as well... Tenten thought.

Tenten spent most of the summer vacation with her family- where they visit the famous beaches of Kumo- in the Land of Lightning Country. They stayed in the Hyuga Hotels during their week-long vacation in the said country. Deep inside Tenten, she was very nervous being at the premises of the Hyuga. She wondered where could be Neji and Hinata too- she strongly believes that they are here in this world.

On their first 3 days, the young Uchihas (Tenten, Sasuke, Itachi, Shisui, Obito and Rin) went island hopping and kayaking. The boys also did deep diving and snorkling- were Shisui didn't allowed Tenten to join them because of her still-healing injuries. While Kagami and Sasuke-Itachi's parents stayed in the hotel's beach.

During the nights, they enjoyed bonfire parties and outdoor bars- and Tenten being not allowed to drink alcoholic beverages. Sasuke handed her secretly a Margarita but Itachi caught them.

On the fourth day, Sasuke didn't joined them on their adventure because he met his bestfriend, Naruto who lives in Kumo. While Tenten and others checked out the souvenir shops and other day store within the island together with their parents.

On their fifth day, they went mountain hiking with Naruto. Tenten was happy to see him (eventhough they weren't close in this world) and remembered how she save him for the war- Tenten hopes that Naruto in the shinobi world survived the war and lived fo so long.

"Wow, I didn't quite recognize you, Tenten. It's been what... 10 years since we last saw each other?" Naruto told her.

"Just 8 years, you dope!" Sasuke chimed in lazily.

Tenten smiled, "Yeah... It's been awhile, Naruto. You've got taller."

"Of course I did!" He then went closer to her ears and whispered, "I took height growth pills during adolescenthood, that's why." before chuckling.

Tenten laughed at his remark. He's still the same funny guy she used to know.

"Oi Naruto! What are you whispering to my cousin?" Sasuke asked, eyes in slits, as both of them ignored the cranky Sasuke.

Naruto stayed with them until the last day of their vacation in Kumo. He toured them around the place during those days.

"Too bad my friend isn't here at the moment, it would be fun to meet him. But, maybe next time, I'll introduce you guys to him. I'll see you on Konoha soon!" Naruto told them before bidding a goodbye.

He and Sasuke talked for couple of minutes before they flew back in Konoha City.

"Tenten, my favorite kohai! You're back!" Kotetsu said, while running towards her as soon as he saw her entering the Engineering building.

"Kotetsu senpai!" Tenten called, smiling at him.

Kotetsu grabbed Tenten's both hand ang clasped it with his, "I heard what happened about you, I'm sorry I wasn't able visit you those times, I was doing training in Kiri. How are you, kohai?"

"I'm doing fine, senpai."

"Tenten, welcome back!" Izumo told her as he went closer to them.

"Izumo senpai." She greeted with a nod and smile.

Izumo and Kotetsu, similar to their shinobi counterparts are best of friends. They are Tenten's seniors in Mechanical Engineering program.

"Oh God Tenten, I didn't know how you survived that accident. You're a heck of a strong woman. Still, I'm glad you're safe." Kotetsu commented.

Tenten flexed her arms and showed them her biceps, "Strong." Tenten sheepishly said.

Kotetsu and Izumo laughed at her remark and all three of them walked together inside the building.

"Ready for second year?" Izumo asked.

"Hmm, yes senpai."

Tenten's life came back to normal. She attends school and study, hangout with friends, and spends weekend with her family. She also left her apartment and went back in his father's home- as Kagami and Shisui's request after her accident.

She have a constant communication with Lee and his little family. Every thursday, she spends her night with Lee's family to have supper together. A new routine for them.

"Uhm, Tenten..."

"Lee?" Tenten answered, glancing at him.

Lee scratched his head and gave her his famous big grin, "I just wonder... do you... perhaps feel something about me?" He asked one time, while sending her off his house.

"What are you talking about, Lee! You're married already!"

Lee laughed in embarassment, "No... T-That's not what I meant, Tenten. What I meant is like a connection. Because... I feel something like that with you. Like you're a family."

Tenten's eyes widened in surprised and slowly her lips formed a smile. She nodded as her answer.

"Yes... I feel like you're my brother." She admitted.

"Isn't it strange? I feel like you're my soul sister." Lee commented while grinning.

"Maybe we are..."

"I'm so happy to know you, Tenten." Lee said and hugged her.

"Where are you? I'm already in the parking." Sasuke asked her from the other line.

"What? I told you to fetch me in 30 minutes not in 3 minutes Sasuke!" Tenten aswered while putting back her notes inside her bag.

Sasuke tsk-ed, "What's the difference? I'm still gonna fetch you right? Hurry up."

"Sasuke!"

"Just hurry up, Ten. I have a date."

"Sakura?"

"Of course with Sakura! Who else do you think?"

Tenten chuckled, "Naruto?"

"Start walking from here to your house. Bye." Sasuke said ending the call.

"Geez, Sasuke!" Tenten said in frustration and put her things inside rapidly and head out of the classroom.

She ran faster, not minding if she's already bumping with other people. But she kept of apologizong to whoever she bump with.

When she finally out of the engineering building, she bumped with another person-

"I'm sorry I'm in a hurry!" She said while continue running.

And because she was hurrying, everything on her surrounding seems blurry and only got a glimpse of his face. When she was almost near where Sasuke was parked, she remembered the person she just bumped into awhile ago. She abruptly stop and looked back at the direction of her department. She felt suddenly nervous and her heart boomed loudly against her chest.

Wait... Was it Hyuga eyes? She asked herself.

"N-Neji...?" She realized. "Damn it, was he Neji?!" She asked herself again.

Tenten took a step back before deciding to ran back the building to find the answer. But when she arrived the exact place and position where she bumped into that person, she found no one standing there. She looked around her and checked if there was a person who looked like Neji surrounding her.

And there- in a far distance, she saw a tall man- probably at the same height as the shinobi Neji with a similar posture and long brown hair, his back facing her, walking towards the Art Department. She ran immediately to that person and grabbed his arm to stopped him from walking further away.

"N-Neji..." She called.

The man looked at her with confusion written on his face.

"Who are you?"

Tenten blinked when she met brown eyes, "I-I'm sorry, I mistook you for someone else." she said letting go of his arm.

The man just nodded at her before resuming walking. Tenten felt a heavy thing loaded on her chest, squeezing her heart hard- at the same time, her eyes started to get teary. She looked up in the sky and saw a group of white doves flying together.

"Where are you, Neji?" She whispered in the air- hoping that those words would reach him.

She really hope Neji would find her.

Time flies so fast and Tenten didn't imagine that the school year is ending. She just finished her final examination and will now only wait for her final grades.

After her exams, she went in the coffee house outside the university to wait for Sasuke- who's still taking his exams. She ordered first before settling at the table on the corner.

She's in the middle of browsing her phone when a staff announced an order.

"Blossoming rose tea latte for Hyuga." The voice said, immediately grabbing her attention.

Her heart beating rapidly upon hearing the Hyuga surname.

"Iced chai latte for Ten." Another staff announced.

She immediately stand up, and walks towards the counter. Her eyes looking everywhere the place to see, looking for "who" will claim for the order named to Hyuga. She reached for her order and waited for the other order. Tenten is started to get nervous every passing seconds. The staff announced the order for Hyuga for the second time. Until a bubbly Hyuga appeared beside her.

"That's mine. Thank you." She bubbly said before getting the order and walked away from the counter.

Hanabi. Hanabi Hyuga.

Not the Hyuga she was hoping to see. Tenten sighed, and decided to leave the coffee house with her heart broken for the second time.

Tenten didn't know that right after she left the coffee house, another order was called.

"Iced chai latte for Neji."
