17. Update 1

Hey guys, Digital Riot here! So recently on the fandom there has been a bit of controversy, regarding the author TheDrkknight12 and his story Gate: Worlds at War v2. Unfortunately, FFN took his story down. Now I know that there are a lot of rumors stating that it may have been a personal and direct attack against DrkKnight by another author (Who you probably know the name of, and if you don't, lucky you).

Rumor has it, one of the authors here reported his story because it supposedly had "Song Lyrics" in it. Again, it may have been him, it may have been a direct and targeted attack. They are just rumors. So I don't know. I'm currently working on figuring out, what exactly happened and why. I've Pm'd TheDrkknight12, and am waiting for a response so I could get some more info.

The reason I brought this up is because the last chapter contains multiple verses from a real song. Again, if it was a direct and targeted attack, then I probably don't have anything to worry about. But if it was a FFN mod who stumbled across it, then I'm in trouble. So I think I'm gonna go and rewrite the previous chapter, without the song lyrics (or not all of them at least) so that I'll be on the safe side. Just trying to look out for you guys, this is a very tight-knit community, and his story getting removed has an immediate impact on the authors around. Like I said, there are a lot of rumors, a lot of scandals, I don't know so I'm not gonna say for sure. But just in case, I'm rewriting everything.

So, I'll push back the date of the next chapter until next week, so sorry. But you did get our last chapter yesterday, so it balances out. I'm also gonna redo the intro, and add a new prologue, and maybe I'll clean up a few chapters in between.

So while I'm here, I guess I'll answer a few reviews.

semsas "Are you going to use the power of technoogy to decode the Guardians? The Sky Full of Thunder did that and it was satisfying too": I'm not familiar with that story, so I couldn't really tell you. But as far as the Guardians go, there isn't really anything to "decode". There is definitely a history behind it, and yeah If you are asking if NATO will conduct an investigation into them, I'd say that NATO definitely will try to figure out who they are. But as far as your question goes, there isn't really much that they could do in that regard.

xXBlazey101Xx "If We have learned ANYTHING about making deals, It never goes well": My momma always said 'never make a deal with the devil'. The Iscariots are playing with things even they don't understand. But as the story progresses, we'll see how that whole Guardians interaction pans out.
