Chapter 17
They both lay, staring at the ceiling, processing what had just happened. Adrien couldn't believe how amazing that had felt. He really hoped she had enjoyed it – he would definitely want to be doing that again! He turned his head to the side to look at her. She turned hers to meet his gaze. They looked at each other, saying nothing. Then they both broke out in a giggle.
'That was...er...yeh,' said Marinette, smiling.
'Yeh...it was...' Adrien replied. He looked back up at the ceiling again.
'I meant what I said, Marinette,' he said seriously, turning to look at her again. 'I love you.'
She covered her face with her hands and giggled.
'What?' he laughed. 'Too mushy?'
'No, it's...just...that I've fantasised about you saying that and, er, doing...this...' she gestured across their naked bodies with her hand. '...since, oh, the first day I met you! It may take a little time to sink in...'
Adrien propped himself up on his elbow.
'Well, I guess we can pass that time it'll take to 'sink in', with another kind of 'sinking in'...' he grinned and wiggled his eyebrows.
Marinette laughed out loud.
'You did not just say that! That's probably THE worst line I've ever heard!'
'Then you'd better stop me from talking anymore by kissing me, hadn't you?'
'Anything to shut you up,' she smiled playfully before she rolled on top of him, pinning him with her arms and sinking her lips down on his.
She straddled him, still pinning him down and nipped gently at his earlobes. He growled in appreciation and his cock began to twitch just behind her ass. She looked at him and raised an eyebrow, wantonly.
'Feels like someone is ready to go again..?'
Adrien gazed into her eyes and nothing would have pleased him more than taking Marinette once again – and hopefully letting her enjoy him for longer this time. He looked at her seriously.
'There's something I need to say to you first, Marinette.'
She sat back and frowned.
'I know I only realised how much I want you pretty recently...but, actually, it's something I should have realised a long time ago. You're the most amazing girl I've ever met and I want to do everything I can to make you happy for...forever. Is that something you want? Us together?'
She nodded.
'Yes. Yes, I want you and me...together. I've always wanted that.'
She moved to take his mouth in hers again, but he stopped her with a finger to her lips and rolled out from under her.
'There's something I have to tell you. It's...kind of important...' He began to look extremely nervous and Marinette held her breath, bracing herself for...she didn't know what.
'It's kind of a big deal...and it may be a dealbreaker for you...but I just can't keep my identity from the girl I love.'
'Identity..?' began Marinette, frowning in confusion. Her thoughts were interrupted by Adrien uttering three words.
'Plagg, Claws Out!'
In a split second, before Marinette could begin to react to the words, a small black blur shot out of the pocket of the jeans crumpled on the floor and was sucked into the ring that Adrien wore. Before she could even blink, Chat Noir was standing at the side of the bed.
Marinette's eyes shot wide.
Ok...this I was not expecting...
In a few seconds a multitude of thoughts flashed through her mind. Her inexplicable attraction to Chat; Chat's love for Ladybug; Adrien's other 'girl he's in love with'; all her rejection of Chat because of Adrien...the allergy to feathers – seriously, how did she not see that?! The four years spent dancing around when they had been in love with each other the whole time.
She could do nothing else but face-palm as she burst out laughing at the folly of it all.
Chat's face fell.
'I guess that's that, then...' he said sadly.
Marinette raised a playful eyebrow at him.
'Tikki, Spots On!'
Chat's eyes nearly popped out of his head as a small red blur flew out of Marinette's pocket and Ladybug materialised before him.
The same flashes of realisation rushed through his mind.
'Ok, yeh, it is pretty funny,' Chat admitted, now laughing himself.
'I guess, now I think about it, we did show up to save the day very quickly from inside a sealed building on more than one occasion...' said Ladybug, scrunching up her face in a mock-frown and tapping her chin.
'So, you've been rejecting...me...all this time because you've been in love with...me?' smiled Chat taking Ladybug in his arms.
'And you've been too caught up with being in love with...me... to realise that you were in love with...me?' returned Ladybug.
'When you say it like that it does sound a little ridiculous,' said Chat.
'Utterly ridiculous!' laughed Ladybug as she she grabbed the back of Chat's head to pull him in for a kiss.
Chat pulled away.
'Can I ask you something?' his voice was serious again.
'What?' asked Ladybug, a note of concern in her voice.
'Can you promise me that some time you will tie 'Adrien' up with your yoyo and ravish his body?'
'You'd like that?' she asked, raising her eyebrows.
'It's one of the many, many fantasies I indulged in while lying in bed with my cock in my hand...' he winked.
'Well, mister, we have a lot of lost time to make up for, so there's no time like the present...'
Chat could barely say 'Claws In' fast enough as he gazed, enthralled by his lady.
Adrien woke up the next morning, his entire body feeling like he'd done the most intense gym workout of his whole life. He looked down. Marinette was sleeping, curled up into his body. His mind revisited the many, many events of the afternoon, evening - and several points through the night - of the day before. He couldn't believe that his life had changed so much in twenty four hours. Still less the previous five days. Was that all it had been? Less than a week for everything he had ever known to turn upside down and all his dreams to come true. He couldn't even begin to articulate how elated he was that Marinette had turned out to be Ladybug all along. It was kind of obvious now he thought about it. The two women he had loved with all of his being were one and the same. It was unbelievable. Surely no one got this lucky?
He looked down at the beautiful, still, porcelain face lying next to him. This was how he wanted to wake up every morning for the rest of his life. She murmured a little as she stirred and squiggled about. She wrapped her arm around his body and let out a small, satisfied moan. Her eyelashes fluttered as she awoke. She looked around her, seemingly a little confused, then looked up into Adrien's face and smiled.
'Hey,' she said.
'Hey,' he replied.
She snuggled into him again and kissed his chest. Then she nibbled his nipple. Then she drew a fingernail down his stomach. Then she disappeared under the duvet and proceeded to take Adrien's already hard cock into her mouth.
'This is definitely how I want to wake up every morning!'
Carmen didn't seem in the least bit surprised when the two of them staggered into the kitchen dressed in the clothes they'd had on yesterday, to get a cup of coffee each. She merely smiled knowingly and murmured 'good morning' before drawing her attention back to her paperwork on the counter.
A little later the couple left the flat hand in hand in search of a breakfast more substantial than coffee.
They walked along the streets of Paris glancing in at shop windows as they passed. Marinette pulled up at a pet shop window. Her face filled with adoration as she watched the hamsters scuffling about in their cages.
'I want one of those one day...' she cooed.
'No kidding,' exclaimed Adrien, putting his arm around her shoulder. 'I love hamsters, too. What would you call it?'
'...
FIN
I can't believe it's over! I actually started this story back in the summer of 2019 when my kitchen was being renovated. I picked it up again at about chapter 5 at the end of May 2020 and my husband and children had to forage in the hedgerows as I sat at the kitchen table for two and half solid weeks letting the writing consume me XD
Thanks for all the love and reviews - it's really helped keep momentum going - and hopefully I'll be back soon with some more!
