It didn't take Elena long to convince Elijah that she'd need Katherine's help, because honestly, Elijah couldn't say no to Elena, even if he tried. He was whipped and he knew it. Plus, he had someone, who was loyal to him without the need for compulsion, keeping an eye on Katherine the moment he had found her. This was how he knew that Elena had been with Katherine during the summer. So now the couple were on their way to Willoughby, Pennsylvania, a small town that Katherine had been in and had compelled the members of the town.

"Devious."Elena stated after hearing what Katherine had done to the entire township.

"Hmm."Elijah, who was driving, nodded in agreement and glanced at Elena."Are you sure you need-Yes, it states right here that two Petrova's, Witch or not, to do such a complex Spell."Elena cut Elijah off and pointed at where it clearly stated what Elena needed.

Elijah glanced at the Grimoire and her lap and sighed as Elena looked back at him."It's Blood and Generation Magic, Elijah. Blood Magic is dangerous enough on it's own, but Generation Magic? That normally means Father or Mother, and Son or Daughter."Elena stated, pursing her lips."It's risky doing it with Katherine, but at least I trust her more then I can trust Emily."

"And how do we know that Katerina won't use this information for her own gain?"Elijah asked, raising an eyebrow."What if she tells those pesky Salvatore's?"

"Have you forgotten that I have your word and Liah's word that you won't go after Katherine?"Elijah nodded, frowning and wondered where Elena was going with this."Rebekah texted me, telling me that Klaus will grant Katherine her freedom from him, Kol, and Rebekah, if she helps me do this, so obviously she won't risk that offer to tell the Salvatore's and the moment she finds out that we're linked, she'll be pissed off."Elena said knowingly."So why would she risk my life just so that she could see Klaus dead?"

"Fair point."Elijah grumbled, not exactly happy to admit that Katherine did adore and love Elena."There is just no arguing with you about this, is there?"

"Well, if you continue this argument, I can guarantee you that you will be sleeping on the couch."Elena stated in a serious voice, knowing how much Elijah liked cuddling up to her in the middle of the night.

Elijah's eyes widened."And this argument is now over."

Elena smiled."My thoughts exactly."Elena said, giggling.

"Bloody hell!"Kol exclaimed, dodging a lamp that came flying his way and said lamp hit the wall."What's got your panties in such a twist, Liah?"Kol asked, glancing around Liah's study."This place was spotless just hours ago."Kol added, frowning at the state of Liah's study.

He had just managed to clean up Liah's study earlier this morning while she had gone out to meet up with one of the local New York Witches. The twins had headed straight to New York after the whole fiasco in Mystic Falls and were at Liah's Mansion, well Liah's and Kol's Mansion now that he knew about it.

"Klaus."Liah growled out.

"What's Nik done now?"Kol asked while sitting down on what remains of the couch.

"He wants us to go to Denver."Liah growled out.

Kol raised an eyebrow."What's in Denver?"

"Other then Elena's kid Brother, Jeremy? Nothing."Liah said, frowning."There's not a single powerful Witch or Warlock in Denver, as far my contacts say. Not even a hidden Coven."Kol opened his mouth to say something."The last Coven died out nearly fifty something years ago."Liah quickly added, seeing the look on Kol's face.

"Then Nik must be planning something."Kol said, shrugging his shoulders.

"Well, he sure as hell didn't tell me what he's planning and I'm not going anywhere until I get some actual answers."Liah said, crossing her arms.

"You do remember that Rebekah is back in Mystic Falls with him, right?"Liah nodded, raising an eyebrow."And that we're still Linked?"

Liah groaned in displeasure."Fuck."

Kol just chuckled before Vamp-Speeding out of the way of an incoming book."I'm sure Nik will tell us why he wants us in Denver when we get there, so come on, Little Sister, pack your bags."Kol chirped as he walked out of the study, feeling Liah's heated glare burning into his skull as he walked away.

After arriving in Willoughby, Elijah got them a Hotel Room before telling Elena to wait inside the room while he went to go look for Katherine. It didn't take him long to find Katherine, seeing as she had only been a block away from the Hotel, feeding on a Human.

"Katerina."Elijah said coolly and watched as Katherine quickly pulled away from her meal and compelled the Human before turning to look at him warily.

"Elijah. I see you're up and about."Katherine looked around and Elijah thought, judging by the worried look in her eyes, that she was looking for Klaus, only to realise his mistake when she asked;"Where's Elena?"in a sharp voice filled with concern.

"Waiting back for us back at our Hotel room."Elijah said calmly."So if you'd be so kind as to come with me..."Elijah gestured ahead of himself and Katherine looked at him suspiciously."I mean you no harm, Katerina, you know this."Still looking at Elijah suspiciously, Katherine followed Elijah to the Hotel he and Elena were staying at.

Entering the hotel room, Katherine was tackled into a hug by the younger brunette, who Katherine quickly hugged back and inwardly sighed in relief. She knew Elijah wasn't one to lie, but if the situation suited him, he could be just as devious as his Siblings.

"Elena."Katherine breathed out, leaning into the hug."It's good to see you."Katherine said as she pulled away to look at the younger Immortal."And I'm surprised that Elijah brought you all the way here to see me. How are you?"

"You can talk later."Elijah stated as he closed the door and took off his jacket, putting it on the back of the couch.

Katherine glared at him, as he walked over to where the Grimoire was on the table, and Elena rolled her eyes."Elijah?"

"Hmm?"Elijah looked over at her.

"Couch."She warned him and he grimaced.

"Interesting."Katherine mumbled.

"Although he's right about us talking later."Elena suddenly said in a serious voice and Katherine raised an eyebrow."I need your help in doing an Ancient Petrova Spell."

"I don't have Magic, Elena."Katherine said.

"You don't need Magic."Katherine raised an eyebrow at Elena."I just need another Petrova to Channel."

"To do what exactly."Katherine asked and Elena and Elijah shared a look, causing Katherine to look at them with narrowed eyes.

"Alright, Nik, we're in Denver. Now what?"Kol asked from his spot in the passenger seat. The Mikaelson twins were sitting in Liah's car, at the park, in Denver.

"Good, listen closely, the both of you."Kol mouthed;"Told you so." to Liah, who rolled her eyes."I need you to find and befriend young Jeremy Gilbert."The twins heard the way Klaus said befriend and knew what he truly meant."Liah, you've met him, no?"

"Briefly."Liah stated, eyes narrowed.

"Good, you can point him out to Kol, without being seen."Klaus instructed them, sounding happy."Then, come home, Liah. I believe I've found a Spell that could possibly break the link. I just need you to confirm it."

"Fine, whatever you say, Nik."The twins said in unison before Kol hung up.

"Don't hurt him."Kol raised an eyebrow at Liah."Elena cares about him, he is after all her only blood Brother."Liah stated calmly and Kol nodded.

"You have my word that I won't kill Jeremy. Who knows, we might become actual friends."Kol said, shrugging.

"A White Oak Tree?"Katherine breathed out, looking between them with wide eyes.

"Yes, but you should listen to what we have to say before you start planning something, Katerina."Elijah warned the older Doppelganger, getting her complete attention."My Siblings, Elena, and I are linked, but that's not the problem, for you."

"What do you mean?"

"The problem for you and for all Vampires, Katerina, is that you're part of a Sireline."

"What's a Sireline?"

"It's kind of like a Bloodline."Elena spoke up."But the only difference is that while a Bloodline doesn't need it's direct Ancestor to live or anything Supernatural like,"Elena shrugged weakly at the lame answer."in a Sireline, you need the Original Vampire for the rest of the Line to survive, and if the Original dies, you will too."Katherine looked at Elena in horror before her face went blank at this new piece of information.

"What do we need to do?"Katherine asked coolly.

"Like I said, I need to Channel you."Elena said as she walked over to the Grimoire with Katherine following to look over the Spell.

"That's Blood and Generation Magic."Katherine stated after going over the Spell, frowning."We're distant relatives."

"True, but you're a Petrova Doppelganger, Human or not, which means that I don't need to use more Magic then one would have to when Channelling a distant relative."Elena explained and Katherine nodded in understanding.

"Ok, lets do this."Katherine held out her hands for Elena to take, which she did.

"Ukažte mi, co hledám, ukázejte mi, kde to je."Elena started to chant in Czech, rather then in Latin, which silently surprised Elijah.

Witches rarely ever use the Czech Language, but Travelers did. Elijah watched, worried, as the two gasped in unison before their eyes were pure white. The duo saw flashes of the tree, it being cut down, and a very familiar bridge. Their eyes returned to normal and they let go of each other's hands.

"Well?"Elijah asked, drawing their attention back to him.

"It got down and is now Wickery Bridge."Elena and Katherine said in unison.

Elijah grabbed his phone and speed dialled Rebekah's number."Rebekah."Elijah the moment the blonde picked up the phone."We found out what happened to the tree. It got cut down and is now-Wickery Bridge, I know. I found someone, who I trust, who could help me if Elena wasn't able to do the Spell."Rebekah cut Elijah off, glancing at Sage, who smirked back at her.

"Don't worry, Brother, we're heading for the Bridge now and we're gonna destroy it."Rebekah continued."Goodnight and tell Elena I already miss her."

Elijah chuckled."We miss you too, Rebekah and goodnight."Elijah said before hanging up and looked at Elena and Katherine, who already heard what Rebekah had said."Rebekah is already on her way to destroy the Bridge."Elena sighed in relief."And Rebekah misses you."Elena smiled at hearing that and Katherine smiled at seeing Elena look so happy.

"Now, I'm gonna text Klaus to grant you your freedom."Elena suddenly said, surprising Katherine, who looked at her in shock and watched as Elena walked off to get her phone out, which was in her bag, that was in her's and Elijah's room.

"My freedom?"Katherine breathed out and looked at Elijah for confirmation, which he gave with a simple nod of his head. Completely stunned, Katherine sat down in the nearest chair, trying to understand what just happened before a full blown smile spread across her lips in happiness, even her eyes reflected the happiness.

"Well?"Klaus asked impatiently as he hovered over Liah, who was reading the Spell.

He had just gotten a text from Elena a few minutes ago, saying that Katherine helped, now hold your end of the deal. It had left a sour taste in his mouth, saying that Katerina Petrova got her freedom and that he won't go after her again, unless she did something to anger him.

"It could work."Liah admitted, looking up at Klaus.

"Why do I sense a but here?"Klaus asked, eyes narrowed on his younger Sister.

"But we need a Bennett Witch's help, they, by allowing Esther to Channel their entire Bloodline, are needed in Unlinking us."

"Bloody hell, I was hoping I was wrong."Klaus growled out."Oh well, it's a good thing we sent Kol to Denver to look after Jeremy."Klaus suddenly added, smirking wickedly at Liah.

"If anything actually does happen to Jeremy, Elena will never forgive you, but you already know that."Liah stated knowingly and Klaus rolled his eyes.

"The thing about the word never, Little Sister, is that never is for a very long time and I'm sure Elena will get tired of being at odds with me."Klaus retorted wisely.
