I need to apologise in advance for any errors, spelling, grammar or otherwise, this chapter is 37 pages long and I did my best, but I REALLY hate editing. So, yeah. Furthermore, I'm sorry it's been so long, I got really sick, then was involved in a serious horse riding accident that landed me in hospital (then got sick again) and 5 weeks on, I'm still recovering from my fall, so yeah, I haven't actually had all that much to actually write, especially with work being as busy as it has been.

Chapter Seventeen

An unexpected knock at the door made Anna begin to panic, her mind was racing, trying to figure out who was behind it. She certainly wasn't expecting anyone, their father was away, Elsa was at work and besides, neither of them would knock, they'd simply enter.

Taking in a deep breath to calm herself, Anna grasped the handle and pulled the door open

"Elsa?"

The blonde's appearance immediately took Anna's breath away. Her jaw dropped, her heart suddenly racing in her chest as she began to drool.

Starting at the pair of sleek, black heels that encased her girlfriend's feet, she slowly began to rake her gaze up those long, slim legs hidden beneath smart denim jeans. Anna's eyes lingered on Elsa's thighs before travelling upwards to the midnight-blue, skin-tight, off the shoulder shirt that hugged Elsa's chest and extended down her arms. The shirt had a navy corset hidden beneath an intricate lace pattern, the deep colour contrasting against Elsa's paler skin and set Anna's heart to racing as her gaze lingered there.

"Hi." Elsa purred smugly, obviously proud of the effect her outfit was having on Anna.

"Hi... hi, me?" The redhead stuttered, her brain turned to mush as she struggled to lift her gaze to Elsa's face rather than her bust... and was then, of course, greeted with a smirk and hiked brow. Mentally kicking herself, Anna gave a dopey grin and tried again. "Hi." Well, it wasn't as eloquent as she would have liked, but it was a start.

"Anna, would you do me the honour of accompanying me to dinner tonight?" From behind her back, Elsa presented Anna with thirteen red roses surrounding a single white rose.

"Oh, Elsa, they're beautiful!" Anna gasped as she accepted the bouquet. "You really shouldn't have." Dipping her head, Anna breathed in deeply, humming as the sweet scent flooded her olfactory.

"One for every year we were apart and one more for all the years we've yet to have." Elsa explained, smiling as she reached out with a delicate finger to caress the petals of the white rose. "This one reminded me of you."

Anna was sure she was swooning, if her heart was racing before, it was nothing in comparison to the gallop it was doing now. Lost for words, Anna reached out, cupping Elsa's face with her spare hand as she leant in and kissed the blonde tenderly. "I love them, Elsa." Anna whispered against Elsa's lips, their foreheads resting together. "And I love you."

Elsa smiled, her eyes shining brightly. "I love you too, Anna. More than you'll ever know." Another lingering pack and the pair slowly drew apart. "Why don't we get those roses in some water, hmm?"

With her voice lodged in her throat, Anna nodded and led Elsa inside. She gently placed the flowers on the kitchen bench before extracting a vase from an overhead cupboard. As she filled the glass with water, Anna's eyes kept darting over to the blonde, focusing on her chest as she greedily devoured the sight. Her heartrate picked up and a heat began to ebb between her legs as she unconsciously rubbed her thighs together.

Blushing, Anna turned her back to the blonde as she removed the paper wrappings from the roses and arranged them carefully in the vase, her fingers shaking all the while.

"Is everything okay over there?" Came Elsa's amused voice.

"Hmm, what?" Anna shook her head, attempting to clear her less than chaste thoughts. "Oh yeah, of course it's okay, why wouldn't it be okay?" Anna began to blather in reply, her voice jumping an octave or two.

"You seem nervous…"

"Nervous? Why would I be nervous? I have nothing to be nervous about, it's not like you're making me nervous or anything… I mean, I'm fine, everything's just fine… all A-Okay… fine and dan-…" Anna's ineloquent ramble was cut off sharply when Elsa grasped Anna's hips, the blonde's front pressed flush against the redhead's back. "…fine." Anna squeaked as her girlfriend's head came to rest on her shoulder, her warm breath tickling her ear.

"You look stunning." Elsa confessed softly before pressing a kiss to the hypersensitive skin behind Anna's ear.

The redhead felt her blush brighten as she gripped the countertop for support, a shiver racing down her spine. Gathering herself, she turned in Elsa's arms, finding herself face to face with that ridiculously sexy smirk. "Well you look…" Anna made the mistake of glancing at Elsa's attire again; "fine."

"Just 'fine' hmm?" Elsa chuckled, her loose, iridescent locks shimmering as they swayed when she rubbed her nose against Anna's. "I was aiming for beautiful or even sexy… but if this outfit is just 'fine' maybe I should change into something else?"

Elsa began to unwind herself from Anna's arms, stepping back as she hooked her fingers under the delicate lace of her shirt. Anna reacted immediately, wrapping her arms around Elsa's neck and pulling her back in roughly, crashing her lips into the blonde's.

The tension was immediate and left Anna shaking as she tried to restrain herself. She broke the contact and stepped back, panting, she knew if they continued, she wouldn't be able to stop herself. "Do we really need to leave the house tonight?" She husked, her voice trembling. "… I want you."

Elsa surged forward, kissing Anna fiercely, a moan rumbling in her chest. Her fingers dug into Anna's sides as she forced the redhead back a few paces until she hit the counter. Then, the kiss was broken briefly when Anna was lifted onto the benchtop with Elsa situated between her thighs and Anna's legs wrapped around her waist.

It didn't take long for things to pick up, Elsa's lips found Anna's neck and the redhead rolled her hips, blindly seeking out contact as her eyes slid closed and her head dipped back. "Elsa." She mewled, "Please."

Anna's request was filled almost immediately when Elsa's hands found their way onto her knees, slowly sliding up her thighs underneath her dress. Anna shivered as her breathing stuttered to a halt, those long, slender digits creeping closer to her throbbing heat.

Anna knew she'd already drenched her underwear, ruined them to the point she'd have to change, but she couldn't care less about that right now, not when Elsa's fingers were right there, discovering for herself, just how wet they were.

Anna gasped and fell forward, her grip tightening around Elsa's neck as the blonde found her clit beneath the fabric and used her fingertips to rub against it in circles. "F-fuck, Elsa." Anna moaned, far too close to completion than she would have liked, but far too gone to do anything about it now.

When Anna opened her eyes and looked down, there was Elsa, peering up behind thick lashes and hooded lids, watching her every expression, her every reaction as though she were a work of art.

A ripple of pleasure shot through her with one particularly rough brush, curling her toes and warping her spine. Anna's eyes slammed shut again as she gasped, her mouth gaping wide. She grunted in appreciation, words failing her entirely.

Anna was hurdling towards the finish, her core clenching around thin air as her hips jerked roughly against Elsa's hand. Her breathing became erratic as she panted, her grip tighter than ever around the blonde's neck.

That coil began to constrict, twisting tighter and tighter as a fire ignited in her belly, rapidly evolving into a raging inferno that threatened to engulf her and set her aflame.

And then, everything stopped.

"Elsa!" Anna cried furiously, glaring at the blonde that had the audacity to smirk at her. "What the fuck?!" She squawked. "I was right there!"

"I know." Elsa purred haughtily. "You, my love, need to learn about a little thing called patience." She drawled.

"But I was right there!" She exclaimed in frustration, desperately trying to pull the blonde's lips towards hers, hoping to convince Elsa to finish her off, once and for all.

"Yes, and now we're running late." Elsa raised a single brow and grasped Anna's hips, ready to help her off the bench. Anna pouted and Elsa leant in, husking against Anna's ear. "Besides, denial can be a very powerful thing." Her hands raked up Anna's thighs teasingly, sending a pleasant shiver up her spine.

"Ugh." The guttural grunt was all Anna could manage in lieu of a response. "You're killing me, here."

"Not fatally." Elsa winked as she pulled away, stepping back to give Anna enough space to slide off the bench, her knees almost bucking as her heels hit the wooden floor. "Come on, we really do need to get going or we'll miss our reservation."

"Alright, alright." Anna groaned, grabbing her phone off the countertop, "I'm coming."

"Not yet, I hope…"

Anna blushed vividly as she glared at Elsa. "Yeah, well, I should have come already, but nooo, someone decided to be a fucking tease and deny me my fucking orgasm." She grumbled under her breath.

Elsa stopped to shut the door behind them, then turned back to Anna, folding her arms across her chest stubbornly. "Keep moaning like that and I won't give you one later, I'll just leave you to rub it out yourself."

This time it was Anna who smirked, stepping into Elsa's personal space, forcing the blonde backwards until she hit the door. Anna leant forward, her hands resting against the wood either side of Elsa's head, pinning her in place. "You'd like that, wouldn't you?" She husked, deliberately lowering the timbre of her voice as she purred into a reddening ear. "Me, moaning as I touch myself." Anna paused, taking care to breathe more audibly, "Elsa…"

Elsa's gulp was audible, and Anna took great pride in watching her throat bob as she swallowed thickly. "Anna…" She replied in a daze, the redhead chuckling as Elsa leant in for a kiss, only for Anna to pull away and begin walking towards the car.

"It seems I'm not the only one that lacks patience." She gloated merrily, pleased with the pinkening of Elsa's cheeks and the way her chest now rose and fell more dramatically.

"Just get in the car." Elsa grumbled, rolling her eyes at Anna's smugness.

"You didn't really have to work today, did you?" Anna questioned once they were seated in the car with Elsa driving them to wherever they were going.

"You got me." Elsa chuckled, shaking her head slowly, "No, I didn't have work. It was actually Belle who called, not Ariel."

"Why?" Anna snorted softly, "It's not like our date was a surprise."

"No, but I still wanted to surprise you somehow." Elsa shrugged with a smile. "I wanted to make today a perfect day, so, I'm pulling out all the stops." Elsa grinned and reached across to take Anna's hand, kissing it softly. "Maybe I'm just a hopeless romantic that's in love with all the cheesy clichés and I wanted to spoil you."

"Why?" Anna rasped; her voice lodged in her throat. "It's not like it's my birthday or anything."

"Because I love you and you deserve to be treated like a queen."

Anna's heart fluttered softly, her face warming as she smiled. "Elsa…" She croaked, "You've already spoilt me enough this weekend… but, thank you." It was Anna's turn to kiss the hand she held in her own, "You really are amazing, you know that?"

"Only for you." Were the words whispered softly in reply. "So, are you excited?" Elsa asked, intentionally changing the subject.

"Excited, nervous, a little apprehensive… I still don't know where you're taking me."

"If I told you, it wouldn't be a surprise, now would it?" Elsa laughed.

Anna rolled her eyes, "Elsa, our life is already so full of surprises that if someone decided to write a book about us, the title would be 'Surprise'." She grumped, turning her gaze back out the window as she tried to decipher where they were headed from the scenery that flew past. They were driving towards the fjord, which, really didn't help Anna at all since there were many restaurants in the area.

"You are entirely too adorable when you pout, you know that?" Elsa commented with a grin, which of course only made the redhead pout more. "Alright, close your eyes, we're almost there."

"Seriously?" Anna grumbled, looking to Elsa who shot her a rather stern look. "Fine, but you'd better not be taking me skydiving or cliff jumping or anything like that… I'd throw you out of the plane and wave until you became this tiny little dot hurdling towards the ground."

Elsa laughed, bright and clear, "No, no skydiving or cliff jumping, just dinner… well, maybe not just dinner, but dinner first, at least."

Anna did as Elsa asked and shut her eyes against her will. She felt the car turn a corner and then another, and another and Anna was beginning to suspect Elsa was taking all these unnecessary turns just to throw Anna off course.

Soon, the car began to slow, Elsa pulling into a park before the vehicle was shut off. "Can – may – I open my eyes now?" Anna questioned, trying to squint through her scrunched-up lids.

"No, not yet…" Anna listened to the sound of Elsa unlatching her belt before she heard the car door open. A pair of heels clacked on the ground followed by the gentle rustling of fabric shifting and that door finally closing. She could hear the sound of footsteps coming closer before stopping right beside her and her own door was finally pulled open. "Give me your hand." Elsa instructed and the redhead complied with a small huff.

Elsa helped guide Anna out of the vehicle, gently shutting the door behind her as the redhead stood still, her eyelids twitching as she struggled to keep them shut. "Okay, just come this way a little…"

"Elsa!" Anna protested as she was blindly led away from the car, her steps cautious and unsure. She was then stopped as Elsa held her shoulders and turned her to the right.

"Okay, open your eyes…"

Anna blinked rapidly as her eyes adjusted to the sudden influx of light. She gasped softly in surprise at the tall structure stood proudly before her, boasting panoramic views through floor to ceiling glass windows. "The Ice Palace…" Anna whispered in awe. "This… this is where we had our first date."

Elsa laughed softly, reaching out to take Anna's hand. "It is." She grinned, "Can you see why I wanted it to be a surprise, now?"

Anna's lips blossomed into a full-blown smile. "I can't believe you remembered, it was so long ago and so much has happened since then."

"Anna." Elsa groused, turning to face the redhead, cupping her cheek tenderly as Anna leaned into her touch. "How could I forget? It was here that I knew I had met someone really special, someone that would steal my heart away… I fell in love with you in this very restaurant, Anna. I will never forget that."

Anna ducked her head, her face warming and heart fluttering. She tried clearing her throat, a thick lump suddenly obstructing it as she found herself uncharacteristically lost for words. All she could do was nod as her chin began to tremble and her eyes blurred with tears. Reaching up, she took Elsa's face in her hands, guiding her down until their lips could meet, after all, they do say that actions speak louder than words.

They broke apart with matching grins, dopey-eyed and blushing, a couple very much in love. Elsa licked her lips as she wiped the slightly smudged liner from Anna's eyes, "Come on," She said, nodding her head towards the restaurant, "Let's eat."

Elsa led the redhead towards the two glass doors, holding one open for Anna as they stepped inside. The building had had a facelift since they'd last visited, a large fountain stood in the middle of the foyer, a crisp-white desk resting behind it with two grand staircases spiralling upwards from either side.

The wall behind the desk was painted a blue ombre, white at the top before slowly darkening into a royal blue at the base. A large sign made from frosted glass rested proudly in the centre, 'Ice Palace', it read and below that was a banner, strung up between two white pillars, 'grand reopening'.

"I didn't know they'd closed down." Anna commented as they walked towards the reception.

"Mhmm." Elsa hummed, "They were closed for almost six months whilst they expanded. It's a hotel too, now."

"Oh, wow." Anna sighed in awe, "That was quick." She added and made a mental note to stay here with Elsa sometime.

Elsa's eyes twinkled as they reached the desk, a smile tugging at her lips.

"Yoo-hoo." An abnormally large man called from behind the desk, waving with one hand. "Big reopening tonight, ja?" He said through a thick Scandinavian accent, tapping his fingers together excitedly as he flicked his eyes up to the banner above. "Half-off your bill for tonight only and how about some lutefisk of my own creation for your table, ja?" The man pointed to a jar of pickled fish to his left, looking rather proud of himself.

"Oh…" Anna looked sideways at Elsa. "Um, maybe another time?" The redhead added uncertainly, she didn't want to hurt the man's feelings, but the lutefisk looked rather revolting in Anna's opinion.

"Okay…" The bulky strawberry blonde said slowly, pushing the jar aside. "You have a reservation, ja?"

"Ja- I mean, yes; we have a dinner reservation under 'Elsa'."

"Elsa… Elsa… ah! Yes, I see, Elsa. Dinner for two, ja?" He said as he tapped away at his keyboard, locating their reservation. "Okay, I'm Oaken, you'll follow me to your table now."

Anna's jaw dropped the moment the mountainous man stood. "I thought he was standing…" She hissed under her breath. Oaken was at least twice her height and three times as wide and Anna felt herself shrinking under his enormous size, she felt as small as a toddler beside him!

Oaken held out his arm, directing them to walk up the stairs… stairs that appeared to be made of glass and Anna held her breath as she began to climb, praying that they were reinforced somehow to hold the giant's weight.

To Anna's surprise, the staircase held the three of them with ease and soon they'd reached the next landing. There were wooden tables of all sizes spread about the room, each one covered in crisp-white cloths with delicate snowflakes embroidered around the edge. Oaken led them towards the back of the room and out through a set of glass double doors, seating them on their own private balcony that overlooked Arendelle's stunning fjord.

"Oh wow." Anna breathed as Elsa pulled her chair out, seating the redhead before walking around the circular table to her seat. "Look at that view!" The sun had sunk low as night rolled in. The cloudy sky painted with vibrant reds and dusty pinks that mixed with burnt orange as it kissed the horizon, casting a soft glow across the inlet and reflected off the angles in the glass windows.

"Quite exquisite, ja?" Oaken stated as Elsa sat, handing the pair a menu.

Elsa hummed softly, reaching across the table to take Anna's hand in her own. "Indeed, it is."

Smiling, Anna turned away from the view and the slowly setting sun to find Elsa gazing adoringly at her. She felt her face warm as she dropped her eyes shyly, biting her lip as she tucked a stray hair behind her ear.

"Ah, young love." Oaken chuckled beside them which only served to deepen Anna's blush. "I remember when my husband used to look at me like that." He sighed wistfully, his blue eyes sparkling. "I'll leave you to browse the menu, ja? A waiter will be with you soon." And with that, the over-sized man bent at the middle, giving them a bow before heading back inside.

Anna looked back up as Oaken left, meeting Elsa's dopey-eyed expression with one of awed disbelief and eternal gratitude. "Elsa…" She groaned lightly, "this place, these seats, the view… it couldn't have been cheap."

"It's nothing," Elsa waved her hand dismissively, "I'd give you the world if I could. The sun, the moon and the sky, I want it all to be yours. Besides, Papa may have chipped in a bit…" Anna raised her brows, "What? I just wanted to show you how much you mean to me, how much I love you. I am so lucky to have you, Anna, to be able to call you mine, it's a gift, one that I will cherish for as long as I live. You have changed my life so much, you've changed me, shaped me, helped me to grow. I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you, for us to grow old together.

"You deserve all this and so much more… this is nothing, really."

Anna narrowed her eyes, looking her girlfriend up and down, "You're not about to propose, are you?" She asked jokingly. As much as she loved and adored Elsa and desperately wanted to spend the rest of her life with the blonde, she didn't feel she was ready for marriage, not quite yet anyway. "I mean, it's a little too soon, don't you think?" She chuckled to herself.

Elsa's face dropped instantly, her ears a burning red as she withdrew her hand and shifted uncomfortably in her seat. "Oh my god." Anna breathed in disbelief, her stomach sinking like a pile of rocks tumbling into the sea. "You were, weren't you?" Elsa averted her gaze, biting her lip. "Fuck, you were!" Anna rested her elbows on the table, her head in her hands. "Oh my god, Elsa… I-I'm so sorry… I've just ruined everything, haven't I?"

Elsa's gaze flicked back to Anna's, her eyes glassy and wide with alarm. "No, god, no, Anna. You- you haven't ruined anything." She insisted, though Anna could hear the emotion in her voice. "You're right. It is too soon; I just… wasn't thinking straight."

"Well I hardly want you thinking straight." Came the obligatory response, Anna doing her best to lighten the mood and dig herself out of the gigantic pit she just fell into. She felt so stupid; it should have been obvious! The shopping trip, the roses, the location, the romantic view… how could she have been so oblivious?!

Elsa's eyes were closed, and her chin was trembling; it was obvious she was hurting. Groaning at herself, Anna picked up the hand the Elsa had withdrawn, bringing it to her lips as she kissed it lovingly, "Elsa, look at me, please." Anna waited until those shimmering blue orbs finally opened and locked on hers once more. "I'm not saying that I don't love you, because I do, with all my heart. And I'm not saying 'no' because I'm unsure in the relationship or because I'm wanting to keep my options open or anything like that; I want you Elsa. I love you; I adore you and I don't want anyone else but you. I am as committed to you now as I will ever be, no ring or piece of paper or ceremony is ever going to change that. And I do want to marry you, just… not yet.

"It's just… I feel like we've been on this crazy rollercoaster ride since the moment we met. It's been nothing but highs and lows filled with spiralling twists and sharp turns and now that ride is finally slowing down, and I just want to sit back and enjoy it for a while; the way that it is." Anna paused and drew a breath, sighing as she deflated. "Oh Elsa, please don't cry-" The moment that first tear began rolling down the blonde's cheek, Anna was out of her seat and squatting beside her, that tear caught on her thumb as she wiped it away. "I'm so sorry. I never wanted to hurt you."

Elsa hiccupped softly; a small smile curled her lips briefly before dropping away. She shook her head as she reached out with one hand, tenderly cupping the side of Anna's face. She opened her mouth to speak, but nothing came out, instead Anna found herself being pulled upwards, her head directed towards Elsa's until their lips met in a soft and soothing kiss. "My love is not fragile." Elsa whispered, "I have you. That's all that matters to me."

Elsa was smiling as Anna pulled away, that adoring gaze back once more. "You'll always have me, Elsa. Always. I'm yours from now until the end of time." She declared sincerely, kissing Elsa's palm as she blinked away the tears she was desperately holding back. "I'm not saying never, just, not yet."

Elsa leant forward, pressing her lips to Anna's in a short peck. "I know." Her voice was stronger now, though some disappointment still lingered. "I'm not going to stop asking, you know that, right?"

"Good." Anna stated firmly, poking a lightly freckled nose. "Because I don't want you to." She pulled back with a smile, stroking the side of Elsa's face tenderly, before walking back to her seat. "And who knows, maybe I'll ask you next time."

Elsa's smile brightened at that, almost stretching from ear to ear as she swallowed thickly. "Not if I beat you to it."

"Come on." Elsa said with a smile as they exited the restaurant, holding her hand aloft for Anna to take. "Let's go for a walk."

Anna grinned, her fingers interlocking with Elsa's as they began to stroll down the darkened street. The night was a relatively warm one, despite the darkening clouds that dotted the sky, the constellations peeking out every now and then. Soft music played in the distance; gentle melodies strummed on an acoustic guitar combined with a smooth voice drifting along the wind.

Elsa led them around a corner and as if by magic, the street sprung to life.

There were stalls and vendors lining the road, golden fairy lights had been strung between the canopies, glittering like stars in the night sky. Street musicians performed on corners, singing as they played their instruments. It really was quite romantic.

The roamed the streets for a while, investigating each stall and the local goods that they sold. Some were filled with clothing, others with pottery or jewellery, and all looked to be lovingly handcrafted, the owners of each stall grinning proudly at their products.

"Oh my god, Elsa, look!" Anna exclaimed as she raced towards a stall, pulling the blonde along behind her. "Isn't this just the cutest!" The redhead plucked a coat hanger off the rack, a tiny baby grow suit hanging off the arms. It was designed for winter with long arms and legs, blue in colour with miniature snowflakes falling from the neck. In the middle was a picture of a smiling snowman and the text underneath in white read, 'I like warm hugs.'

"That is rather adorable." Elsa agreed as she wrapped her arms around Anna's waist, her chin resting on her shoulder. "But I think it's a bit too small for you."

Anna rolled her eyes, shaking her head, "Har, har, har. Very funny." She groaned.

"I certainly thought so." Elsa teased, pinching Anna's sides lightly, earning her a light squeal as the redhead wriggled in her grasp.

Anna swatted the blonde's shoulder, rolling her eyes once more. "We should buy it…" She suggested softly, her cheeks warming a little.

"Anna… we don't know anyone with a baby, or anyone who's even pregnant… unless there's something you're not telling me." Elsa shifted, leaning to the side a little as she peered around at Anna, her brows raised, and lips pursed.

Anna scoffed, "Oh yeah, by the way, I'm pregnant… and it's yours." The redhead teased, lightly elbowing her girlfriend in the gut. She sighed lightly before placing the outfit back on the rack. "I just thought it was cute, that's all." She shrugged as they turned to walk from the stall.

They wondered around for a while, exploring the stalls and sampling the foods some had to offer. Anna's favourite was of course a chocolatier, selling handcrafted treats infused with decadent flavours of varying richness. She left cradling a bag of strawberry bites, drowned in creamy milk-chocolate, half of which had already been demolished before she'd even exited the stall. The blonde, on the other hand, had bought herself a bag of sweet honeycomb, drizzled with a rich dark chocolate and was taking the time to enjoy the delicate flavours, rather than wolfing them down like Anna.

They continued walking until they reached the end of the street which then opened to a grassed area, lit with more twinkling fairy lights, and had wooden tables and chairs dotted around its perimeter. Towards the back was a local band, all looked to be in their early twenties, playing soft pop songs that their audience could sway along with. All in all, it was a very romantic setting.

"I'm going to get a coffee; would you like one?" Elsa asked, indicating to a coffee van not far from where they stood.

"I'd love a hot chocolate please." Anna practically moaned at the thought.

Elsa chuckled, rolling her eyes playfully. "I should have known." She teased before kissing Anna on the cheek, "Don't you go getting yourself lost now."

"As if you could lose me." Anna laughed, waving as the blonde walked off in the opposite direction. She moved closer to the band, enjoying the calming atmosphere and soft melodies that drifted through the grounds. Anna found a patch of grass and sat, tapping her feet in time to the music. They were currently playing an Ed Sheeran song and as Anna looked around, she could see couples of all different ages and genders dancing slowly to the music.

Elsa had been gone for a while now and Anna was beginning to wonder what was keeping her. She looked to the van behind her, and whilst it was quite far away, Elsa's distinctive hair was nowhere to be seen. She began to worry that Elsa had gotten lost and had just pulled out her phone to call her when a low voice whispered, "Boo!" in her ear.

"Fuck!" Anna cried, dropping her phone and clutching her heart as the organ threatened to beat right out of her chest. "Elsa! Don't do that!"

The blonde laughed wickedly as she walked into view. "And miss the opportunity to see that reaction? Never!" Elsa handed the pouting redhead her hot chocolate, still grinning as she sat herself down. "Sorry." She apologised, sounding nothing of the sort.

"No, you're not." Anna grumped, taking a sip of her drink and feeling herself relax as the rich flavours slid down her throat. "What took you so long, anyway?"

"I bought you something." Elsa bit her lip and smiled, "Close your eyes."

Anna narrowed them instead, "You're not going to make me walk around blind again, are you?" She asked suspiciously.

"No." Elsa rolled her eyes, "Just close your eyes and hold out your hands."

Anna glared at the blonde before acquiescing, placing her drink on the grass next to her before laying her hands out flat in front of her with her palms up. "Alright, they're closed." She could hear the rustling of a paper bag before something soft was placed in her hands.

"Okay, you can open them now."

Anna blinked as her eyes adjusted before widening when she realised what she was holding. Sitting in her hands, was the tiny baby grow suit she'd cooed over earlier on in the evening.

"For later." Elsa smiled, wrapping her arm around Anna's waist and pulling her into a hug. "When everything has calmed down and we're married, maybe we can create a tiny little human to fit inside that adorable little outfit."

Anna began blinking rapidly, she wasn't about to cry, no, there was just something in her eye. "That sounds more like an ultimatum." She choked, clearing her throat as she supressed a sniffle.

"No," Elsa countered softly, pressing her lips to Anna's temple. "It's a promise."

After disposing of their drinks, the couple moved closer to the band, situating themselves amongst the other onlookers that were dotted about the green, gently swaying with the music as they enjoyed the romantic tone it set.

"They're quite good." Anna commented, leaning against Elsa as the blonde wrapped her arms around her waist. "But not as good as you." Anna's words made Elsa blush and the redhead kissed her cheek with a grin.

"You're just buttering me up, so I'll actually let you come tonight." Elsa chuckled into Anna's ear, revelling in the light shiver that followed.

"And you're just terrible at accepting compliments." Anna countered, reaching back to pinch Elsa's side lightly. "You should go up there, Els. Show them what you're made of."

"Ah, definitely not." Elsa stated defiantly, almost taking an instinctive step back, afraid Anna would drag her up there. "First of all, it would be extremely rude of me to hijack their performance. Secondly, I'm not prepared, I haven't even sung that much lately, and my voice wouldn't hold up and lastly – you know how I feel about performing in public."

"Come on, Els, please? You're amazing and I'd love to see you up there, it would be like my own personal concert." Anna begged, turning in Elsa's arms and staring at her with pouted lips and puppy dog eyes. "Besides, you sing all the time, don't think I don't hear you in the shower."

"There's too many people, Anna." Elsa commented, looking around at groups that still lingered. "Even if I wanted to, I don't think I could."

"It's only a small crowd." Anna countered, "Most people have gone home already."

It was true, Elsa admitted to herself, there were only a handful of people around, most had already left due to the impending storm.

"Anna I-" Elsa sighed solemnly, "I just… can't. I'm sorry."

Anna shook her head, "You can, Elsa. I know you can, you're just scared." She stated stubbornly as she removed herself from Elsa's arms.

"Wait – you're not mad at me, are you?" Elsa asked worriedly, grasping Anna's hands and turning her around again before pulling her in close. "I didn't mean to-"

Anna placed a finger on Elsa's lips to silence her, "No, silly. I'm not mad, I'm just going up there to give them a tip, that's all." She chuckled as she flicked Elsa's nose. "Stop worrying so much, it'll give you wrinkles."

"If this is what life with you is going to be like, then I'm afraid I'll be grey and wrinkled by the time I'm thirty." Elsa teased, earning herself a rude hand gesture in response.

Elsa watched Anna make her way through the crowd, nervous butterflies dancing in her stomach. She wrapped her arms around herself, telling the pests to knock it off and go back into their cocoons.

She would never tell Anna this, but part of her was jealous of those musicians on stage. She wished she had their confidence, their passion to share their music. Like she'd explained to Anna previously, she didn't want the fame or even the recognition, but there was a part of her that longed for the experience. She wanted to know what it felt like, to be up there, to perform to an audience – even if the thought alone was enough to make her want to run to the North Mountain and lock herself away forever.

Elsa was so lost in her thoughts that she didn't even notice Anna's return until the redhead called her name, a guilty smirk curling her lips. "What did you do?" Elsa asked suspiciously, narrowing her eyes as Anna's darted away.

"Nothing!" She chirped, that smirk only growing as she reached out and took Elsa's hand. "I gave them a tip, just like I said I would… come on, let's go to the front to get a better view." Anna pulled Elsa through the small group of bystanders that remained, practically having to haul her along as Elsa dragged her feet. "You should see that chick's electric guitar, it has a snowflake on it, Elsa! And that drum kit, damn it's loud!"

"It's the drums, Anna. Of course, it's loud." Elsa deadpanned.

The redhead ignored her, babbling on as if Elsa hadn't interrupted her. "And the keyboard, that dude's fingers fly over the keys, it's incredible. His hair is almost as long as yours, did you notice that? Actually, it would probably longer if he took it out of the dreadlocks."

"-Anna…"

"Oh! And the bassist, yeah, when he plays, it's like his mouth is the amp. His name was like Maori or Maui or something like that, you should see all his tattoos, he's covered in them-"

"Anna!"

"-I bet they'd let you play, if you asked. Actually, the guitarist kind of looks a little like you too, you know, if you squint your eyes and tilt your head to the side…"

"Anna!" Elsa yelled, grabbing the redhead by her shoulders and forcing her to turn and face the blonde.

"Heh…" Anna's blush was vivid, and that guilty look only amplified when Elsa raised her brow.

"You're rambling." She said pointedly. "You ramble when you're hiding something."

"I also ramble when I'm passionate about something, when I'm uncomfortable, when I'm embarrassed, when I'm-"

"You're rambling because you've done something you know I won't like."

"No, I haven't." Anna squeaked, her voice a least an octave higher before she cleared it.

"No?" Elsa queried, raising her brows disbelievingly. "Then why do you look like a kid that's been caught with their hand in the cookie jar?"

Anna opened her mouth to argue but closed it the instant the band paused to make an announcement.

"Thank you to everyone for coming to hear us play tonight, your support is greatly appreciated. We have had a special request from a member of the audience-"

"Anna…" Elsa growled, her mind piecing everything together.

"-and we would like to welcome to the stage…

"No…"

"Elsa Winters!"

"Anna!" Before Elsa could even begin her angry rant, Anna had grabbed her hand and was yanking her towards the stage, ignoring her shouts of protest. A low murmur broke out in the audience, people laughing, chatting amongst themselves, confused over Elsa's reluctance. A few of the band members helped drag the blonde up the steps before an electric guitar was thrust in her hands and everyone else left the stage.

Elsa threw a glare at Anna, the redhead smiling innocently as she gave her girlfriend a thumbs up. "Anna, I'm gonna kill you for this." She threatened into the microphone, the audience laughing, clearly, they were not taking her as seriously as they should.

Elsa took a deep breath, closing her eyes as those butterflies returned with a vengeance. It felt as though they'd bred and doubled in size since before, and now, she was worried about projectile vomiting all over the audience the moment she so much as opened her mouth. She slowly exhaled, opening her eyes, only to have her vision spin and she grasped the microphone stand to keep herself steady.

She could feel herself shaking as she looked around the green, her breath stuttering. Fuck, she thought, this was far too much for her to handle. She looked to the steps on her right, needing Anna's familiar face to help ground her, only, she wasn't there. Her panic only grew as people began to talk in hushed tones, everyone was looking at her, every eye was trained on that stage and on Elsa as she just stood there, far too terrified to move.

"Go, Elsa! Woo! You can do it!" Anna's ever familiar voice called out from below. "Yeah, Elsa!"

When she looked down, there was Anna, smiling broadly as she punched her fist into the air. Elsa allowed her eyes to close again, she focused on breathing deeply and grounding herself before slowly reopening them and zeroing in on the only person in the audience that mattered.

Anna was looking at her such hope and adoration that it made Elsa's heart skip a beat. She knew Anna would understand if she backed out, if she just handed back that guitar and walked off stage, but she also knew how much this would mean to Anna, to see her playing, to hear her sing; she would do anything to make Anna happy.

"Elsa, Elsa, Elsa!" Anna began to chant, riling up the crowd until they started chanting along with her. "Elsa, Elsa, Elsa!"

After one final deep breath, Elsa nodded, forcing a nervous smile as she slung the guitar strap over her shoulder and strummed a test chord. "Anna," She began nervously, desperately hoping her voice would hold up. "This one's for you."

The song was easily recognisable, and a few members of the audience cheered as she began to play.

"There are days
I wake up and I pinch myself
You're with me, not someone else
And I am scared, yeah, I'm still scared
That it's all a dream
"

Her voice was shaky, her feet stuck to the floor as she stood there rigidly, her hands only moving to strum each chord. Elsa kept her gaze firmly on Anna as she sang, blocking out the crowd, the stage and everything around her. In her mind, she wasn't up on a podium singing in front of a group of people, she was just Elsa, singing for her Anna, no one else.

"'Cause you still look perfect as days go by
Even the worst ones, you make me smile
I'd stop the world if it gave us time

"'Cause when you love someone
You open up your heart
When you love someone
You make room
If you love someone
And you're not afraid to lose 'em
You probably never loved someone like I do
You probably never loved someone like I do"

Elsa began to relax as she finished the first chorus and she chanced looking around at the crowd. Couples were dancing, friends swaying together, their arms wrapped around each other. Some people had even pulled out their phones, their torches lit as they waved them in the air.

Elsa smiled in spite of herself, slowly letting go of her fears as she allowed herself to relax in the moment. The sound of the crowd singing along with her felt incredible, they weren't booing her off stage or just listening politely, they were singing along with her, cheering her on.

When Elsa reached the final verse, she locked her eyes on Anna again. The redhead was staring at her with such pride, that Elsa almost forgot the next lyrics.

"All my life
I thought it'd be hard to find
The one 'til I found you
And I find it bittersweet
'Cause you gave me something to lose

"But when you love someone
You open up your heart
When you love someone
You make room
If you love someone
And you're not afraid to lose 'em
You probably never loved someone like I do
You probably never loved someone like I do
You probably never loved someone like I do"

Elsa blushed and dipped her head shyly as the crowd erupted into cheers, clapping as couples broke apart. But one voice was absent, one voice that would have carried above them all. Elsa looked down to find Anna beaming at her, tears streaking her face before she wiped them away.

"I love you, Anna." Elsa cooed softly into the microphone, almost forgetting where she was.

I love you too. The redhead mouthed back, grinning with pride.

Elsa looked to the right of stage as she lifted the guitar strap from her shoulder. She held it carefully and indicated to the guitarist to take it back, only, the woman shook her head and held up two fingers.

Elsa glanced back at Anna, the redhead shrugged before nodding, "Encore!" Her voice was raspy, Elsa could tell, even at a distance. "Encore!"

Soon the rest of the band was joining in, calling for an encore, though Elsa suspected they just wanted a break.

Shaking her head in bewilderment, Elsa turned back to the crowd. "Umm… do you want one more?" She asked them timidly, not really expecting the response she was getting. Another round of cheers (and a few whoops from Anna), had Elsa nodding in defeat.

One more it was.

"Umm, so this is something I wrote a few years ago, but you might have heard it before… though, probably not quite like this." Elsa spoke into the microphone, fixing the guitar to her back as she chose to walk to the piano instead. She played a quick melody to test out the keys before shaking her hands and settling herself in front of the instrument. "Sing along if you know the words."

Her fingers flew over the keys as she played the opening notes. Then, just as the first verse was about to begin, Elsa stepped back from the piano, grabbed the guitar by its neck, swung it around and began to strum.

"The snow glows white on the mountain tonight, not a footprint to be seen."

Anna's jaw dropped as Elsa began to play a rock adaptation of her favourite song.

"A kingdom of isolation and it looks like, I'm the queen.
The wind is howling like this swirling storm inside.
Couldn't keep it in, heaven knows I've tried.
"

As she reached the bridge, Elsa began to pick up the pace, strumming harder as she sang louder, once again becoming lost in the moment.

"Don't let them in,
Don't let them see
Be the good girl you always have to be
Conceal, don't feel, don't let the know,
Well, now they know

"Let it go, let it go
Can't hold it back anymore
Let it go, let it go
Turn away and slam the door
I don't care what they're going to say
Let the storm rage on!

"The cold never bothered me anyway."

Elsa had been so caught up in her own world, that she hadn't even noticed the rest of the band joining her on stage, it was only when the drums began to play that she realised she wasn't alone. It all felt so surreal, here she was, facing her fears and performing on stage in front of a growing audience, singing her song with a full freaking band behind her. Never in her wildest dreams would she have believed this would ever happen.

"It's funny how some distance
Makes everything seem small
And the fears that once controlled me
Can't get to me at all

"It's time to see what I can do
To test the limits and break through
No right, no wrong, no rules for me
I'm free
"

Beaming, Elsa looked down at Anna, the redhead had joined a random group of people and was dancing and singing at the top of her lungs. Flooded with confidence, Elsa took her own advice and let go of her insecurities. She began moving, dancing, releasing her fears as she rocked out with the band.

"Let it go, let it go
I'm one with the wind and sky
Let it go, let it go
You'll never see me cry
Here I stand, and here I'll stay
Let the storm rage on
"

The music began to build behind her, the crowd in front were jumping and pumping their fists in the air, some were even headbanging. Elsa felt like a Rockstar, performing in a band before stadium filled audience. Her energy levels grew, her voice mounting in power and she slashed the guitar strings with each swipe of her fingers.

"My power flurries through the air into the ground
My soul is spiralling in frozen fractals all around
And one thought crystallizes like an icy blast:
I'm never going back; the past is in the past!

Elsa sucked in a deep breath before belting out the final chorus, blood rushed to her head, her vision began to swim as she gave it her all, little white spots dancing before her eyes. The sound of the guitar slayed through the air, drowning out the other instruments as her voice rose above it all.

"Let it go, let it go
And I'll rise like the break of dawn
Let it go, let it go
That perfect girl is gone
Here I stand in the light of day
Let the storm rage on!
The cold never bothered me anyway.
"

Elsa staggered, her mouth dropping open in awe as the crowd erupted before her. She hadn't been paying attention to the audience, she had become so engrossed in the moment, that she hadn't even realised it had doubled in size. She couldn't help but gasp as people she had never met before, applauded for her, cheered for her. It was so overwhelming that Elsa felt herself becoming emotional.

This was a dream, it had to be a dream, it was too crazy to be reality. But the hand that clapped her on the back felt real enough and the brightness of Anna's smile as she beamed up at her certainly filled her with a warmth no dream ever had. So maybe, just maybe, this wasn't a dream after all.

Elsa had no idea how she made it off that stage, no recollection of handing over the guitar, all she was aware of was how tight Anna's arms were around her neck and how she still tasted of chocolate and strawberries,

"You did it, Elsa!" Anna cried, "I can't believe you actually did it! You rocked, Elsa, I mean, literally, rocked! I didn't even know you could rock like that! And oh my god, Elsa, you were incredible! Everyone loved you, I mean, did you hear them? They were all cheering for you, Elsa! You sang two songs, two! And you brought the fucking house down! I mean, did you see the people? They were all dancing and clapping and singing along and I-"

Elsa shut her up with a kiss, "You also ramble when you're excited."

Anna snorted, pressing her forehead against Elsa's, threading her fingers through blonde locks. "Yeah, well, maybe I'm just really proud of you." She admitted softly, lifting her head to peer up at Elsa beneath thick lashes.

"I wouldn't have gone up there if it wasn't for you… just don't ever do it again." Elsa chucked as she nuzzled her nose against Anna's, their lips brushing again.

"You know I ah… got a little um, starstruck when you were up there." Anna confessed timidly, her fingers tapping against Elsa's clavicle. "Kinda felt like I was dating a celebrity."

"Mhmm." Elsa hummed, "But you know, you're not just dating a celebrity…" she paused, leaning in until her lips rested on Anna's ear, "you're sleeping with one, too."

Elsa felt Anna's blush blossom where their cheeks were pressed together, felt the slight hitching of breath beneath her hands that rested on her back and the rumble of a groan as it vibrated through her chest. She could taste the spice of passion on Anna's tongue, the sweetness of her devotion on her lips. The fevered flame that burned everlasting as Anna kissed her like there was no one else around.

It was only when thunder rolled in overhead and a drop of rain splattered on her shoulder, that Elsa pulled away, the band playing behind them once more.

"Do you love the rain; does it make you dance when you're drunk with your friends at a party?
What's your favourite song, does it make you smile, do you think of me?"

"Dance with me?" Elsa murmured against Anna's lips as she smiled softly.

Anna grinned, her eyes widening in a mixture of disbelief and surprise. "I'd love to."

Elsa linked her left hand with Anna's right, holding aloft between them as she wrapped her opposite arm around her partner's waist. Ignoring the rain, they began to sway in time with the music, rocking side to side in a slow circle, their heads resting together.

Elsa could feel Anna's heart beating against her chest, the way it had sped up and pumped a little harder. Her smile growing, Elsa began to sing softly under her breath. "I'd spend ten thousand hours and ten thousand more, oh, if that's what it takes to learn that sweet heart of yours. And I might never get there, but I'm gonna try. If it's ten thousand hours or the rest of my life. I'm gonna love you."

Anna ducked her head shyly, that soft rogue still tinting her cheeks as Elsa sang to her. Her grip around Elsa tightened as the blonde pressed her lips to her forehead, lingering there for a moment before pulling away.

"When you close your eyes, tell me, what are you dreamin'?
Everything, I wanna know it all
."

The rain began to fall harder, but neither girl paid it any mind, too lost in the moment to care for ruined outfits or wet hair, it only added to the romance, anyway.

"I'd spend ten thousand hours and ten thousand more,
Oh
, if that's what it takes to learn that sweet heart of yours.
And I might never get there, but I'm gonna try
.
If it's ten thousand hours or the rest of my life
.
I'm gonna love you
."

"Marry me." Elsa whispered breathlessly.

Their bodies were pressed so close together that Elsa felt the gasp before it left Anna's lips, felt the tremble in her hand as it tightened around her own. She felt Anna's heart stop and stutter before leaping into a gallop, beating so hard, it hammered against her own chest. Anna's head flew up, her eyes widening in surprise. "Elsa, I-"

"I know." Elsa cut her off softly, resting her forehead against Anna's as she released the redhead's hand, bringing her own up to Anna's face. She pressed her thumb against trembling lips, tracing them as her eyes lingered there. "I just… I wanted to know what it would feel like to ask."

"And?" Anna asked over the sharp crack of lightning that flashed overhead.

Elsa chuckled softly, ducking her head to meet Anna's lips. "I'll let you know when I figure it out."

"Come on!" Elsa yelled over the thundering rain, offering her hand to Anna. "Let's take cover in the hotel!"

Anna nodded in agreement, allowing Elsa to take the lead. They began running towards the Ice Palace, ducking under the eaves of buildings as they weaved their way back towards the hotel. The rain was so heavy now, that Anna could barely see where they were going and was blindly trusting Elsa's sense of direction to get them back to safety. Bright flashes of lightning helped guide the way, though the thunder that boomed almost instantaneously after, made Anna nervous about being out in the open like this.

The pair were thoroughly drenched by the time they reached those glass doors, their hair dripping and clothes soaked; they took refuge inside. "You're shivering." Elsa observed, wrapping her arms around Anna and drawing her in close. "Let's go upstairs and see if someone will lend us a towel."

Anna nodded, her teeth chattering as Elsa led her into the glass elevator and pressed the button for the top floor. "Hey, we should sneak into one of the suites whilst we're up here… see what they're like." She looked almost conspiratorial with a cheeky grin and mischievous twinkle in her eyes.

"Elsa!" Anna squawked, elbowing the blonde in the gut. "We can't do that, what if we get caught?" She asked hesitantly, burying herself back into Elsa's embrace. She was admittedly very curious about the new addition and was dying to know what the rooms looked like, but she didn't want them to get into trouble for being somewhere they weren't allowed. A soft ding echoed as the lift slowed to a halt. "I mean, are we even allowed up here?" Anna poked her head out, looking both ways down the empty hall as Elsa pulled her to the left.

"Whatever happened to that feisty redhead who wasn't afraid of taking a risk or two?" The blonde questioned as she tugged a shivering Anna down the carpeted hall.

Anna bit her lip to stifle her scoff, "She started dating her sister." She laughed with a roll of her eyes. "Whatever happened to the good girl I once knew, huh? The girl who played it safe, who wouldn't ever dream of putting a toe of line let alone break into a hotel room just to check it out."

The blonde chuckled impishly, shaking her head as her smirk deepened and became predatory. Suddenly, Anna found herself trapped against a door, her wrists caught and pinned beside her head. She couldn't help but gasp in surprise; she'd forgotten how quickly Elsa could pounce.

Anna began to tremble for an entirely different reason now. Elsa was so close, her face just inches away, their noses almost touched as their heated breaths mingled in the tight space between them.

Elsa bit her lip in a way that set Anna's body ablaze, her eyes dark and lidded. She leant in until her teeth scored the shell of Anna's ear, her voice rumbling like the thunder outside. "She started dating her sister."

Elsa's lips were smouldering against her own, fierce and demanding and made Anna want to break into the room behind her for more than just a towel. She couldn't help the moan that rumbled in her chest as her fingers curled against her palms, couldn't stop her hips from rolling, seeking out friction that just wasn't there.

Elsa was purposely keeping herself just out of reach, her body canted on an angle that only allowed their mouths to meet. The lack of contact was driving Anna insane.

When Elsa pulled away, Anna was panting heavily, her vision was hazy and it took her far too long to remember she was in a fancy hotel hallway, pinned against a door to a room that wasn't theirs. Anyone could come out at any time and catch them like this and thought of that alone was enough to send a thrill down Anna's spine.

"And as for whether or not we're allowed up here, I think you'll find that this-" Elsa reached into her back pocket, pulling out a light blue key card and holding it up in front of Anna's face, "-means we are." Elsa held the card up to the reader on her left and the door instantly unlocked.

"Wait, what? El-" Anna was gently pulled away from the door as Elsa reached for the handle, pushing it open and revealing the opulent room inside. Anna's jaw dropped, her eyes buldging as she stood frozen in shock. "-sa-oh, my god…" Anna breathed as a single word.

Elsa grinned broadly as she walked into the room, leaving a shell-shocked Anna in the doorway. "Well, what do you think?" She asked, her arms outstretched as she spun slowly in place.

"Fuck." Was the word that tumbled from Anna's lips, she didn't know what else to say, 'fuck' seemed to sum it up perfectly. "I can't believe- I mean- you planned… we're staying here?" Anna stumbled over her words, her brain stuttering as she tried to piece a sentence together.

"Surprise." Came Elsa's low chuckle, her smile brightening as she watched the myriad of emotions flicker across Anna's face.

Anna managed to stumble inside the room just enough for the door to shut behind her, her mouth still hanging low as her eyes roamed the expansive suite. The carpet and walls were a light grey, with high ceilings painted white. To her immediate right was an open walk-in-robe that extended halfway across the length of the room. A polished concrete wall separated it from the rest of the space and inside were two suitcases, nestled beneath a plush, velvet bench.

Directly in front of her, was a cosy living area with an L-shaped couch that rested against the window and backed onto the rest of the room. An oak coffee table with sleek, matte-black legs sat between the lounge and matching entertainment unit, with a large television mounted to the wall above.

"Holy crap!" Anna exclaimed, her jaw dropping even further as she noticed the view from their room. The windows reached from the floor to the ceiling and spread across the length of the apartment, giving them an unimpeded view of the expanding fjord.

Anna forgot all about being cold as she walked to the window, pressing her hands against the one-way glass and peering out to the bay below. It was dark outside, and fog had begun to form upon the water's surface, swirling in the wind like magic flowing from an icy hand. In the distance she could make out the dark silhouette of the mountaintops and the freckled lights of the houses dotted within.

"Stunning, isn't it?" Elsa asked, wrapping her arms around Anna's waist as she kissed her neck softly.

"Incredible." She agreed. Anna turned as Elsa took a step back, taking a moment to observe the rest of the room. Directly opposite the window rested a lush, king-size bed, with soft grey sheets and an oak headboard to match the rest of the decor. The concrete feature wall behind it hid the walk-in-robe from view.

In the right-hand corner of the room, where the window met the wall, was a quaint sitting area with a circular marble table and two grey wingback chairs, complete with a vase of sunflowers resting in the middle. Just off to the side was a small kitchenette with oak cabinets and black handles, a mini bar and amenities hidden inside.

The room was incredible, warm and comforting, with modern touches softened with greenery dotted around the space. Anna wanted to move in. "This has to be the fanciest hotel I've ever stayed in." She commented in awe.

"Just wait, you haven't seen it all yet." Elsa grinned, taking Anna by the hand and leading her to another door by the lounge.

That door opened to a lavish bathroom with a dark grey tiled floor and polished marble walls. In the far-left corner was a shower big enough for two, with a large square showerhead and clear glass surrounding it. Directly in front of her, was a floating, polished concrete vanity with his and hers (well, hers and hers) basins and a large mirror with copper edging. To the left of the shower was another door that Anna assumed led to the toilet and on her right was a large, egg shaped spa bath, complete with jets, copper fittings and plush headrests. The tub stretched from one side of the room to the other and was situated right up against the full-length window, giving them another flawless view.

"Oh, my god." Anna moaned in delight, "this is amazing."

"I thought you'd like it." Elsa agreed, smiling at Anna in the mirror opposite. "Why don't you go and get a drink from the mini bar whilst I get this tub filled and we have a steaming bubble bath to warm you up?"

"I think you read my mind." Anna turned around to face Elsa, wrapping her arms around the blonde as she pulled her in for a kiss. "I can't believe you planned all this, Elsa. Really, I-I don't even know what to say…" Anna was lost for words, her brain short-circuiting. She felt like she was in a daze, a wonderful, wonderful dream that she never wanted to wake up from. The day had been so full on, filled with surprises at every turn and Anna was struggling to process it all.

Elsa brushed Anna's bangs from her face, her hand resting on her cheek. "You don't need to say anything." She smiled softly. "I just wanted to make you happy."

Anna tightened her arms around Elsa's waist, pulling their bodies flush as she began peppering kisses along a pale jaw. "Well then, let me show you just how happy you've made me…"

As it turned out, Anna didn't need the bath to warm her up, Elsa managed to find a way all on her own.

"Ngahh!" Anna groaned throatily as another orgasm tore through her. Her eyes slammed shut, her fingers clawing at the sheets. She arched her back as her toes curled and body quivered violently.

This, Elsa decided, was nothing short of art. The way Anna looked when she came, was beauty beyond compare. It's breathtaking and mesmerising and Elsa would give anything to see Anna lose herself to the pleasure she could bring her over and over again.

She circled Anna's clit with her fingertips, helping her ride out that high until the redhead's body began to jerk with overuse. She then slowed her touch until Anna managed to suck down a breath before slowly trailing her fingers back up that sweat-drenched body.

Elsa leant in and kissed Anna languidly, soothing her racing heart, her body still twitching with aftershocks.

"Fuck, Elsa." Anna breathed, giggling as she flopped an arm over her eyes. "You're insatiable."

Elsa chuckled and bit her lip, basking in Anna's afterglow. The redhead's hand tangled in her hair as the kiss deepened, the blonde sighing into the other girl's mouth. Anna trailed her fingers over Elsa's shoulders and down onto her chest, skimming them through the valley of her breasts, only for them to be caught and pushed back into the mattress.

Anna opened her mouth to protest, but Elsa cut her off with a stern expression and the hike of a single brow. She slowly began tiptoeing her fingers down Anna's chest, swirling them around each nipple before continuing their descent. The redhead inhaled sharply as Elsa nudged the hood of her clit before sliding through that slick and swollen flesh. She gathered up the lingering moisture, coating her fingers before trailing them back upwards, slowly circling that still-throbbing nubbin.

"Fuck." Anna hissed, her back arching. "I keep thinking you're finished."

Elsa chuckled deeply, the sound vibrating in her chest. She slowed her fingers, just barely grazing Anna with a feather-light touch. "Do you want me to stop?" She husked, swirling that flesh for good measure.

Anna groaned, her body trembling as her fingers flexed in the sheets. When she didn't respond, Elsa removed her fingers, slowly – teasingly – gliding them back up the redhead's body.

"Do you want me to stop?" She asked again, lifting her hand off Anna's abdomen entirely.

Anna grabbed Elsa's wrist before it could fully retreat, "No…" She breathed shakily. "Don't stop."

Smirking, Elsa allowed Anna to guide her hand back down between her legs. The redhead gasped and released that wrist as Elsa picked up where she left off. "Yes!" She hissed, biting her finger as she twisted her head to the side, her hips rising to meet Elsa's hand.

"I won't stop." Elsa purred into Anna's ear, nibbling on the lobe briefly, "Not until you come for me." She slid her hand further down, her palm taking over the job of her fingers.

She parted that swollen flesh, her digits sodden once more as she slowly entered Anna with one finger and then, after a low, pleading moan from the redhead, a second.

Elsa watched in awe as Anna gasped for air, her lips parted and panting, sweat running down her body. Each breath cut through the air like a knife, sharp and ragged, her heels digging into the mattress. Elsa curled her fingers, finding that rough patch within, her palm rubbing against Anna's clit.

Anna could do nothing but quiver and gasp, continuously biting her lip and releasing it as her fingers clawed at the sheets. A particularly rough brush made her arch and cry out, throwing her arms around Elsa's neck whilst her nails scratched at her back.

She curled inwards as she began to shake, her eyes heavy lidded and open wide, begging for sweet release. Her hand twisted in Elsa's hair, pulling at the strands as a series of strangled, half-formed curses tumbled from her lips.

Elsa stopped her thrusts, instead focusing on the pressure within and rapid movements of her palm.

Anna crumbled.

She threw herself back into the sheets, her hips jerking unevenly as she thrashed about on the mattress. Her hands flew back, tearing at the pillow beneath her head as she arched and screamed, Elsa's name reverberating off the walls.

The redhead struggled to breathe as Elsa coaxed her down, her body spasming from the light strokes of the blonde's fingers. Her hands left the pillow, clenching shakily in thin air, her abs twitching as Elsa slid her touch back up her body.

"F-fu-ck." She exclaimed breathlessly.

Elsa grinned, kissing Anna's shoulder as she snuggled up to the redhead's side, pushing her sweat-slicked hair from her face.

Anna focused on breathing for a few moments before weakly stating, "Okay… I think I'm done now."

Elsa snorted, dropping her head into Anna's chest as she laughed. "Good to know." She lifted herself when she felt Anna's arm trying to worm its way under her body, wrapping itself around her waist.

"Fuck, Elsa." The redhead sighed, running a still shaking hand through her hair. "I kept thinking you were done, but then you'd start up all over again."

Elsa lifted her head from where it had been resting on Anna's chest, "Are you really complaining?" She asked with a hiked brow.

"No…" Anna rolled her eyes, "But I was happy enough after round three." She laughed, kissing Elsa on the forehead. "God, Elsa. How many times was that? I think you've well and truly made up from before."

"I don't know, it's not like I was keeping count." Elsa groused, her fingers drawing lazy patterns on Anna's sternum.

"I love you, Elsa." Anna sighed softly, relaxing in Elsa's embrace.

"I love you too, Anna." Elsa lifted herself onto one arm as she leant forward and pressed her lips against Anna's.

They stayed like that for a while, kissing languidly as their hands explored with tender touches. Elsa sighed contently when they parted, brushing Anna's cheek with back of her hand, smiling at the adoring emotion in Anna's eyes. She rubbed her nose against Anna's before pressing a light kiss to her lips and settling back into their embrace.

Elsa closed her eyes as Anna drew soft patterns on her back, her other arm stroking up and down her bicep. She focused on the steady rhythm of Anna's heart pumping under her ear, its two-beat melody calming her forever racing mind. Her own heart swelled, her chin trembling as the atmosphere intensified, she could practically feel Anna's love for her flowing out of the redhead and into her own body.

She ducked her head, kissing Anna's chest as she rapidly blinked away her welling tears, though one still managed to escape, dripping onto Anna's skin. The redhead's reaction was instant, her hands stopped in their ministrations as the one that had been on her arm reached up to gently cup Elsa's chin, lifting her head until their eyes met.

"Hey," She started softly, concern tinting her tone. "What's wrong?"

Elsa sniffled, shaking her head as she forced a watery smile. "Nothing's wrong." She assured, "I just… I miss you."

"You miss me?" Anna questioned, cocking her head curiously. "But, Elsa… I'm right here?"

Elsa shuffled up the bed until she could rest her head on the same pillow as Anna, their noses almost touching. "I know," She sighed and paused, trying to gather her thoughts. "I just… I miss you all the time, whenever I'm at work, I'm thinking of you and what you're doing and I long to be with you. The nights I spend at Belle's are so lonely, that bed is far too empty, and I just can't sleep without you there. And then, when I wake up and you're not there… I just miss you. Always. I feel lost when I'm not with you, Anna, like there's this vital piece of me that's missing and that's you, you are vital to me, Anna."

Anna blushed, smiling shyly as she kissed Elsa softly. She wrapped her arms around Elsa's neck pulling her body closer. "Then I think it's time we had a chat with Papa…"

Elsa gasped lightly, her body jolting in surprise. "Really? You mean that?"

The redhead giggled, rolling her eyes as she nodded. "Of course, I do, Elsa. Besides, if I am going to marry you someday, it would make sense if we were at least living together first…"

The kiss that followed was nothing short of desperate. Molten lava leaping into flames that burned hot and furious, licking at their skin and setting their bodies alight. Elsa rolled on top of Anna, her hips grinding against the redhead's, earning her a delightful curse in response.

Elsa's wrists were then caught in a stronghold, Anna linking her leg over Elsa's before flipping their positions and pinning Elsa to the bed. Her expression was smouldering as she peered down through lidded eyes. "I think it's your turn now…"

Waking early was something Anna was firmly opposed to, but still being awake as the sun rose and greeted the fjord, dousing it in a fiery glow, was something she could get used to… though, the lack of sleep probably wouldn't agree with her.

Currently, the women were sharing a steaming hot bubble bath, with Elsa reclined at one end and Anna leaning against her. Sleep hadn't been a priority for either girl, though the bed had still had a thorough workout. Mostly, they'd stayed up talking, reminiscing about their shared childhood and swapping stories of their lives after separation.

"To quote Virginia Alison, 'Wrapped within another's arms further intensifies the divine beauty of a sunrise."' Elsa's voice whispered softly in Anna's ear, her fingertips tracing gentle lines up and down Anna's arm.

Anna smiled, snuggling further into Elsa's embrace as the blonde pressed a kiss to her temple. Elsa's arms held her tight, lulling her into a deep state of relaxation as she drew soft patterns on Anna's skin.

"How am I still alive, when you're always taking my breath away?" Anna rasped in reply, her face warming to match the awakening sky.

"Funny," Elsa's murmured thickly, "when it is always I who cannot breathe around you."

Anna shifted, her eyes leaving the orange hues to gaze upon a sight she believed to be much more beautiful than the one out the window. Elsa was smiling at her, soft and tender with an expression she wore for Anna and Anna alone. Her cheeks were tinted with a light pink, hiding her faint freckles from view. Her eyes, as ever, spoke volumes, and Anna could read them better than any words printed on a page. It was an expression Anna had seen more and more in recent weeks, and whilst she hadn't quite been able to decipher the message behind it before, now, Anna knew exactly what she was trying to say.

"One day." She promised, cupping Elsa's cheek with her hand, "One day." The distance between them was closed with just a hitching of breath, their lips speaking when their voices wouldn't.

After a few moments of peaceful silence, Elsa begun humming softly under her breath. The vibrations from her voice tickled Anna's back, the gentle melody of the song reminded Anna of a lullaby and set her skin to prickling with its familiarity.

"What's that song?" Anna asked curiously, "It sounds familiar, but I can't place it." The lyrics felt as though they were right on the tip of her tongue, a memory saved deep in the recesses of her mind yet lingering just out of reach.

Though she couldn't see it, Anna could hear the smile in Elsa's voice, "It's a lullaby Mama used to sing to us when we were kids." She explained softly, her arms curling around Anna as she cleared her throat and began to sing.

"Where the North Wind, meets the sea.
There's a river, full of memories.
Sleep my darling safe and sound,
For in this river all is found
."

It was like a warm blanket had been draped over her, the lyrics sparking memories Anna had long since forgotten. Closing her eyes, it was almost as if she was back in her mother's arms, safe and protected and so very loved. She could see the three of them on the bed, Idunn leaning against the frame with her daughters snuggled up to her chest, her delicate finger tracing lines down her forehead as she drifted off to sleep.

"In her waters, deep and true,
Lie the answers and a path for you
Dive down deep into her sound,
But not too far, or you'll be drowned.
"

Elsa's arms tightened around Anna's waist, her voice wavering as she sang. Anna took one of Elsa's hands and linked it with her own, lifting it to her lips, she kissed the skin softly before lowering it to her heart.

"Yes, she, will sing to those who hear,
And in song, all magic flows
But can you brave what you most fear,
Can you face, what the river knows
."

Anna could feel Elsa's chest stuttering where it was pressed against her back. Her voice had grown thick and cracked as she tried to keep singing. Anna squeezed Elsa's hand supportively before shifting her head and kissing Elsa's cheek. Her face was streaked with tears, her chin trembling, her eyes were closed, and nostrils flared, and the moment Anna's lips met Elsa's skin, her head dropped, and she broke, unable to finish the song.

Unlinking her hand from Elsa's, Anna reached up, she tenderly stroked Elsa's cheek with her fingertips before using her pinkie to trace a line from Elsa's forehead and down her nose. Though her memories were vague, the lyrics seemed embedded in her soul and so, Anna began to sing. As each word passed her lips, those memories grew clearer, it was almost as if her mother was beside her, whispering the lyrics in her ear as they sang together.

"Where the north wind meets the sea
There's a mother, full of memories
Come my darling, homeward bound
When all is lost, then all is found
."

"Oh my god, it's so warm!" Anna cried, the water sloshing around her in small waves as she settled her feet on the bottom of the pool. "C'mon, Elsa, dive in!"

Anna watched as Elsa dipped a toe into the water, testing the temperature for herself before taking a step backwards and pulling her shirt over her head. Her sapphire-blue bikini made Anna's breath catch in her throat. She really should have been used to seeing Elsa in all manners of undress by now, hell, they'd both been naked together just a few hours earlier, but somehow, seeing all that moon-pale skin, dotted with chocolate coloured freckles, still managed to set her heart to racing.

Anna swallowed a groan as Elsa stretched her arms above her head and dived elegantly into the pool. The water rippled softly as she jumped in and Anna watched as the blonde swam a lap beneath the surface before kicking off from the opposite wall and gliding back towards her. She looked like a mermaid, swimming peacefully in the ocean, her long, snowy hair shimmering in the broken light.

Anna squealed when her ankles were suddenly caught and yanked out from under her, one of Elsa's hands then pressed down on her shoulder, the other on her head, pushing Anna under the water as her arms flailed above the surface.

Elsa was grinning wickedly as Anna fought her off, she was then grabbed around the middle as Elsa pushed off from the bottom and brought them back to the surface. Coughing and spluttering, Anna wrapped her legs around Elsa's waist as she slung one arm around the blonde's neck and used her free hand to wipe her face free of hair and water.

"Elsa!" Anna coughed, giving the blonde a playful smack to her shoulder. "What was that for?"

Elsa's cackling laugh reverberated off the glass walls as she dug her fingers into Anna's sides, causing the redhead to squirm and shriek as she was tickled. Trying to get away, Anna pushed off on Elsa's shoulders, but the blonde's grip was too tight and only resulted in her being pushed under the water again.

"You know," Anna begun once she had resurfaced, "I was about to say you looked like a mermaid or a dolphin when you were swimming, but now I need to amend that statement because clearly, you are nothing more than a shark, preying on unsuspecting victims."

"A shark, huh?" Elsa questioned, her expression turning impish as she raised a brow and pursed her lips.

Anna knew that look all too well, usually it resulted in more tickling or a snowball to the face. She unhooked her legs from Elsa's waist and began wading backwards, the blonde following with her arms outstretched and a mischievous grin. "…Elsa."

"Duh-dun… duh-dun… duh-dun, duh-dun, duh-dun…"

Anna screamed like a child as Elsa surged forward and tackled her back under the water, but she managed to get away this time. She swam as fast as she could in the opposite direction, kicking her legs hard each time she felt Elsa's fingers try to grab her ankle. The moment she reached the ledge, Anna pulled herself out of the pool, before waiting for Elsa to resurface, and then, the moment she did, Anna jumped, tucking her legs beneath her as she crashed back into the water, right beside her gloating girlfriend.

This time it was Elsa that squealed as she used her hands to cover her face from the impending splash. "I'm gonna get you for that…" She threatened playfully.

An all-out water fight then ensued, with the girls splashing each other with both their hands and feet, seeing who could get the other impossibly wetter than they already were. Elsa dived beneath the surface again, though, this time, Anna was ready for her and lifted her feet just as the blonde reached for them. After taking a deep breath, Anna ducked back under and began swimming away from Elsa, just like she did before, only, it seemed Elsa had pre-empted her move and was right on her tail as Anna raced to get away.

Just as she reached the pool ledge, Elsa grabbed one of Anna's ankles, causing the redhead to twist around to face her as she pushed her feet off the ground and felt for the ledge behind her. Just as she was about to escape the pool, Elsa popped up in front of her and placed her hands either side Anna's shoulders, effectively trapping her in place.

"Thought you could outrun me, did you?" Elsa teased wickedly, that stupid smirk still plastered to her face.

Anna gulped. That smirk was ridiculously sexy at the best of times but combined with a dripping wet Elsa in a tiny bikini with far too much alabaster skin on display and Anna was done for. "Uh-huh."

Anna watched as Elsa's eyes darkened, her pupils dilating as a light flush began to spread over her cheeks and chest. Neither girl dared breathe as the mounting tension intensified, their faces slowly drawing closer.

"You caught me." Anna whispered just as their noses brushed, "What are you going to do with me?"

How was it possible for Elsa to steal her breath away every time they kissed? How was it, that every kiss felt like their first? Those butterflies never seemed to go away and that ever-present breathlessness... would their relationship always be this intense, or would those flames one day simmer down and die? Anna hoped that their passion would never fizzle out, that Elsa's kisses would always set her alight, that their flame would burn bright until the day, many years down the track, that candle was extinguished forever.

Anna wrapped her arms around Elsa's neck and her legs around her waist, gripping her tight as she trembled with want. The kiss deepened when Anna tilted her head to the side, Elsa's tongue brushed against her own as the water rippled around them.

Both women were panting heavily when they separated, the air thick with desire. Elsa rested her forehead against Anna's, she was shaking and kept biting her lip as she stared intently at the redhead's.

"Can you be quiet?" Elsa husked, her voice gravelly and deep. She slowly dragged her nails down Anna's thighs, making her intentions clear.

Anna shivered, her sharp gasp echoing off the walls. After a moment of deliberation, she gulped and nodded. "Yes…"

Elsa smirked and leant in, her breath warming Anna's ear. "We'll see about that…"

Her lips were like fire against Anna's own. Blazing hot and so intense, it was all Anna could do just to keep up. Elsa's hands grasped her hips, trimmed nails digging into rapidly heating flesh as those lips painted a trail down her neck and back up again before latching onto her earlobe and sucking it into her mouth.

Anna squeezed her eyes shut as she bit her lip to keep from crying out. Her fingers tangled in the wet strands of Elsa's hair, using them as an anchor to keep her grounded. One of Elsa's hands left her hips, sliding around to her front before dipping low under the waistband of her bather shorts.

Anna's grip tightened in Elsa's hair as a single finger slid over her clit. Her hips jumped; her legs squeezed the blonde's waist as she buried her head into Elsa's neck to muffle her grunt of approval. Anna's body felt alight with arousal, with want and desire. She could almost feel the electricity zinging over her skin, the buzz of pleasure that began in her toes and expanded over her entire body.

"Good girl." Came Elsa's approving praise, husked directly into Anna's ear.

The redhead shivered and ground her hips down, the water sloshing around them. Elsa's fingers dipped lower, sliding through that slickness between her thighs, her palm pressing against Anna's clit.

"You're so wet and I've barely even touched you." Elsa purred, her teeth scoring the underside of Anna's jaw.

Using Elsa's shoulders as leverage, Anna bobbed up and down, grinding herself against the appendage that was trapped between them, but the lack of space was making it almost impossible for her to get the right angle.

Elsa growled in frustration, her hand retreating, much to Anna's displeasure. "Turn around and spread your legs." She commanded gruffly, unwrapping Anna from her waist.

The redhead nodded and did as she was told. Her legs shook beneath the water and she planted her hands on the wooden decking to keep herself steady. Elsa pressed herself against Anna's back, her stiff nipples poking through her bikini as she draped her body over Anna's. Her hands clasped the redhead's hips, her nails digging into her skin.

"You look so fucking sexy, Anna." Elsa growled into her ear. "I wish I had packed the strap-on so I could fuck you properly." The blonde thrust her hips into Anna's, docking her from behind. "Would like that? Me, fucking you from behind like this? Pulling your hair as you pant and beg me for release?"

The redhead gasped, her fingers curling as the image formed in her mind. Elsa grasped Anna's hair in her hand, twisting it around her wrist before giving it a yank, forcing Anna's head back in a display of submission. "What did I say about being quiet?"

Anna whined helplessly, too afraid to open her mouth. Dominant, Queen Elsa was back, the one she'd only seen once before but was dying to meet again. It was as though she was possessed, taken over by this entity that only sought to dominate and consume. There was a wicked gleam in her eyes, in the darkness of her expression and timbre of her voice. Elsa looked like a predator on the prowl and Anna was her prey.

"I saw you watching me before. You were practically salivating over me before I'd even jumped into the pool." Elsa stated, one hand began tracing the line of Anna's spine before grasping her hip firmly as Elsa thrust against her again.

Anna's intake of breath was sharp, sharp enough to echo about the room, amplified by the glass as it reverberated off the walls. She couldn't help but push back, her hips seeking out those of her partner as she curled her fingers against the wood.

"Seeing how much you want me, makes me want you even more. There is nothing that turns me on more than knowing how much I turn you on. You hold a power over me, Anna. One I'm not even sure you know you possess yet it's a power you wield so expertly." The next thrust had Anna whimpering against her will, her head dropping as Elsa released her hair in favour of pulling Anna's hips closer.

"You make me want to devour you. Control you. Take you, over and over again until your body is spent and you're pleading for me to stop." Elsa nipped at Anna's jaw, pulling at the skin before releasing it and lathing it with her tongue. "I want to claim you, mark your body so that everyone knows that you belong to me. No one else will ever have you, Anna. No one." Elsa skimmed her teeth down Anna's throat before wrapping her lips around her skin and sucking hard.

Anna angled her head to the side, breathing staccato as she trembled beneath Elsa's touch. The blonde ground her hips into the redhead's backside, groaning roughly into Anna's ear at the friction caused by their clothing. Elsa's hands left Anna's hips and slowly began travelling up and down Anna's waist with her nails scratching at the redhead's skin.

Anna quivered, her body hypersensitive to Elsa's touch, everything the blonde was doing sent wave after wave of arousal shooting through her body before it settled in her core. She wanted to beg, to curse Elsa for teasing, to demand that she take her, right here, right now, but she feared there'd be punishment if she so much as opened her mouth.

She needed to convey just how desperately she needed Elsa, how much she longed for her touch, to be thoroughly fucked until her body could take no more. So, she reached up and back, tangling a hand in Elsa's hair, tugging at the strands until the blonde was growling against her flesh. "I want you to fuck me." Anna murmured lowly into Elsa's ear, "Fuck me, Elsa. Show me how much you want me." The blonde's breathing hitched sharply as her nails bit into Anna's skin. "Take me, Elsa. Make me scream."

The groan against Anna's shoulder was gruff and demanding, vibrating against her flesh as the blonde sunk her teeth into the join of her neck. Anna hissed at the pain, her fingers curling as she gasped when Elsa began to suck.

Within an instant her breasts were covered with Elsa's hands, the fabric of her bikini pushed aside as the blonde kneaded at the mailable flesh. Anna couldn't help but moan as fingers played with her nipples, her head dropping as she pushed her chest further into Elsa's touch. The sound of her voice echoing around the space reminded Anna that they were in public, but she couldn't bring herself to care, all she wanted was that high and she wanted it now.

Elsa's grip was anything but gentle, her teeth scored the length of Anna's neck, her fingers pinching and pulling at the hardened flesh in her hands. Anna could hear how heavily Elsa was breathing, she could feel each puff of moist, warm air as it washed over her skin.

Anna's head dropped forward, almost low enough to rest on her forearms as Elsa continued to tease her. She whined pleadingly when the blonde docked her again, her head snapping back up as she began rubbing her thighs together, needing that friction, that fill, something, anything to quell the throbbing ache between her legs.

Elsa's hands were suddenly on her hips again, leaving Anna's breasts exposed to the cooler air. She shivered as the water lapped against her mounds, soft teases tickling the sensitive skin – a stark contrast to the treatment they'd just received. One of Elsa's legs kicked Anna's apart again, spreading them further than before, forcing Anna to use her arms to keep herself upright.

"What did I tell you about keeping your legs spread?" Elsa growled against the nape of Anna's neck. "How am I supposed to fuck you, if I can't touch you?" A thigh was thrust between Anna's, the redhead gasping as she ground herself down upon the limb involuntarily.

Elsa's pleased chuckle rumbled against Anna's back, the redhead hissing as Elsa guided her hips into an easy rhythm, one that was both equally gratifying and still so frustratingly light. Elsa pushed Anna's hips down and forward before yanking them backwards, her own slamming into Anna's rear with each forceful thrust.

"Elsa…" Anna whimpered; her mind too consumed by the fog of arousal to remember to keep quiet. Another chuckle emanated from Elsa's lips that were once again resting against her ear.

"That's it," Elsa husked, her voice whiskey rough. "Moan for me, Anna." One of Elsa's hands left Anna's hips and began gliding up the middle of her torso, her nails scoring the redhead's skin. "Let me hear you."

Anna mewled as a teasing finger traced the underside of her breast, her hips still grinding upon the limb between her legs. Still, it wasn't enough. There were too many layers in the way, too little pressure, no matter how hard she ground herself down. Her clit was throbbing to the point of pain, her core clenching hopelessly around nothing but air, leaving her feeling dissatisfied and unfulfilled.

"You're intoxicating, Anna." Elsa husked, her teeth pressing against the sensitive skin just behind Anna's ear. The redhead quivered waiting for the bite that never came. "You're my addiction. My dirty little secret. My body yearns for you, always. I'll never not want you." Instantly, there was a hand down Anna's front, applying direct pressure to her clit as the other massaged her breast roughly.

"Fuck!" Anna cried, the water slapping against the side of the pool as she jolted. Her head snapped back; her eyes scrunching closed as her body screamed in satisfaction from finally having the attention it had desperately been craving.

Elsa hissed at Anna's cry and instead of retreating as Anna feared she would, her touch only grew firmer. "I love it when you're vocal." Elsa growled, her teeth tracing the shell of Anna's ear before her lips sealed around the lobe and began to suck. Anna was putty in her hands. "I want everyone to hear you, for them to know exactly what I do to you."

That thigh was gone but before Anna had the chance to show her displeasure, it was instantly replaced by Elsa's hand, dipping low and entering her with double digits, immediately setting a punishing pace. Anna's hands curled into a fist, her nails leaving crescent shaped marks on her palms as her legs shook beneath her. A guttural groan rumbled in her chest, her world spinning as her pleasure spiked, sending her hurdling towards the finish line at a hundred miles an hour.

"Anyone could walk past right now and the first thing they'd see is you, half naked and panting with that tell-tale look of desperation in your eyes." Elsa's hand left Anna's breast and twisted in her hair, yanking her head up, so that she was looking at her own reflection in the glass. "The next thing they'd see is me, standing behind you, fucking you as they watch, taking great pleasure in knowing they'll never get to touch you like I do." The possessive timbre of Elsa's voice had Anna keening, her core clenching around Elsa's fingers.

"Does that turn you on?" Elsa asked darkly, "The thought of being watched whilst your big sister plays you like an instrument?" Anna gasped as Elsa's fingers hit her front wall, the digits thrusting in and out of her body with a force that sent ripples of water flowing out around them.

"Fuck!" Anna cried again, pushing her hips back against Elsa's as the blonde's fingers abandoned her hair in favour of pinching her nipple roughly. "Elsa, oh, god, Elsa!" Anna chanted breathlessly as the blonde's thumb chased her clit in circles.

Her knees kept unlocking, her calves trembling as her body began to tingle. Anna could barely breathe as she clawed at the wooden decking, her arms were the only things keeping her from sinking beneath the surface. She couldn't think, couldn't speak, her body putting all its energy into focusing on the fingers that were slamming into her core, on the lips that were nipping and lipping and sucking at the hypersensitive skin on her throat. On the hand the pulled and tugged and massaged the mounds on her chest, all other functions were completely irrelevant.

Anna panted harshly, her hand slamming against the decking as she raced towards orgasm, her body jolting with each thrust of Elsa's fingers. "Don't-" She managed to gasp before Elsa twisted her fingers and hit another spot inside her. "Fuck!" Anna's scream amplified tenfold as it ricocheted around them. "-Stop!"

"Not until you scream." Elsa promised, tugging on Anna's earlobe with her teeth. "I want the whole world to hear you, Anna. I want them to know just how much you love being thoroughly fucked by your big sister." The words were growled against her flesh, three fingers now pounding into her heat. "Come on, Anna. Let it go."

Elsa's fingers hit a spot that had stars exploding in front of her eyes. That heat that had been building low in her gut suddenly exploded, the raging inferno expanding over her body from the tips of her toes to the top of her head and everywhere in between.

Time itself seemed to stand still, she couldn't move, couldn't think, couldn't breathe as that almighty pressure engulfed her. All Anna could do was feel.

Feel the way Elsa's fingers slammed into her core. Feel the moist breath on her neck and the tightening low in her gut. Feel the tingles that started in her belly, shooting outwards, making her toes curl as she clawed at the decking. Feel the way Elsa's lips moved against her skin, though as to what they were saying, Anna had no idea.

Everything narrowed down to pure sensation until at last that coil sprang loose and she was thrust into pleasurable oblivion.

"Elsa!" The strangled cry tore from Anna's throat as she arched and bucked, her hand reaching back to tangle in Elsa's hair. Fireworks exploded in Anna's vision, bright, white lights dancing before her eyes as she sucked in a breath and held it.

Before it even had the chance to fade, that pressure began to build again. Mounting rapidly as she fell forward, her hand pulling and tugging in Elsa's hair whilst the other clenched into a fist. The feeling within was so intense that Anna was sure she was about to pass out, that her body was about to explode and shatter into millions of pieces.

Her second high hit her like a freight train, robbing Anna of all her senses as she clawed at her own flesh, her nails leaving marks upon her skin. Elsa's teeth sunk into her shoulder, a low groan vibrating against her flesh as Anna gasped and shook until the world span and everything turned black.

It was only the arm Elsa had slung around her waist that kept Anna from collapsing as she fell forward. Almost instantly, she was cradled in Elsa's arms, the blonde scooping her up as she waded to the nearby step and sat down. All Anna could do was sob against Elsa's chest; her arms weakly wrapped around her neck as her body was wracked with aftershocks.

Anna was only vaguely aware that Elsa was talking to her, but all she could hear was the rush of her own blood, pounding in her ears. She could only twitch as Elsa stroked her back, her breath ragged and mouth dry, tears still streaming down her cheeks.

"You are so beautiful, Anna. I love you so much." Were the first words the redhead could comprehend, whispered against her forehead as a feather-soft touch wiped away her tears. "I am so lucky to have you, to have earnt your heart, I'd be lost without you."

Anna's fingers twitched as she curled them in Elsa's hair, wordlessly trying to convey that she felt the same way.

"I'm never letting you go, Anna, never. Nothing has ever made me feel as whole as you do, as wanted and needed as you make me feel." Elsa's words drew a harsh sob from Anna's chest, the world still spinning as she fought to draw breath. "There is nothing I want more than to wake up beside you every single day, to see you smile and hear you laugh. I feel so honoured to have you in my arms, to be given the gift of your love. You mean everything to me."

The Elsa that held her in her arms now was a stark contrast to the one that had dominated her just moments ago and whilst she enjoyed the commanding persona of before, Anna knew, without a doubt, that this Elsa, was the one she loved the most.

"Elsa." Was her weak, almost inaudible reply and Anna wondered whether her heart would ever beat regularly again.

Elsa's gentle touch rounded Anna's cheek, cupping her face so tenderly, that she began to choke up all over again. She felt her lips curve into a smile as her eyelids fluttered and ever-so-slowly opened and when her vision finally cleared, she was greeted with an expression so soft, so vulnerable and open that Anna just had to kiss her. She had to feel Elsa's skin beneath her fingers, to feel her heart the way it beat just for her. Had to taste her lips and hear her sigh and immerse herself in everything that was so fundamentally Elsa.

"I'm yours." Anna promised, her hand resting on Elsa's heart. "From now until the world ends, I'm yours."

"And that's the last box." Elsa proclaimed, dusting her hands off on the oversized sweatshirt that Anna had bought her. It was blue – what else? – and had the words "just let it go" printed in white. For some inexplicable reason, she had thought it suited Elsa perfectly.

The redhead herself looked deliciously adorable in her green plaid shirt with the sleeves rolled just above her elbows over the top of a tee shirt with the words "finish each other's" printed on a picture of a sandwich. However, it was the tiny little short shorts that she had donned that kept catching Elsa's attention, later for that, however, right now she was far too exhausted to do anything more than just blush and stare.

They had spent the day packing up Elsa's old bedroom with the help of Kristoff and Belle, stuffing her clothes into suitcases and her knick-knacks in boxes, it had been exhausting, but at least it was done.

"Has your room always been this colour?" Anna wondered as she slowly turned in place.

Elsa chuckled as she stood behind the redhead and wrapped her arms around her waist. "It has." She pressed a kiss to Anna's cheek before resting her head on her shoulder and sighing softly. "It looks so bare."

Anna hummed in agreement before turning to face her girlfriend, her hands reaching up to play with the stands of hair at the base of Elsa's skull. "How are you feeling?" She asked sincerely.

Elsa smiled softly as she brushed Anna's bangs from her face. "I'm okay, it's just… bittersweet, you know?" She may not have lived in the apartment for long, but so much had happened in such a short period of time that it felt as though she'd been there forever. "I'm thrilled to be moving in with you, but at the same time, I'm going to miss it here. Belle is my best friend and it'll be strange not having her around all the time… not that I've actually been here all that much recently. I'm going to miss living just a few doors down from Kristoff too, he became a really great friend and shoulder to lean on when we weren't talking, and it'll be odd not bumping into him in the halls."

Anna nodded as she stroked a hand up Elsa's arm. "I understand. It can't be easy, on the plus side, it's not like you're moving far away, it's only a few blocks."

"The plus side is you, Anna." Elsa rubbed her nose against Anna's as she chuckled lightly. "That I get to fulfill my dream of waking up next to you each morning."

"If you keep saying things like that, you're going to make me melt." Came Anna's breathless reply coupled with the pinkening of her skin.

Elsa grinned as she cupped Anna's cheek with her hand and leant in, "I thought I already had."

It never ceased to amaze Elsa how perfectly their lips fitted together. It didn't matter which way their heads were canted or what angle they were on or who was taller and who was shorter, they just fit. Like pieces of a puzzle; they were made for each other.

A soft knock on the open door prompted the couple to pull away, both of them smiling as they turned their heads towards the opening.

"Car's packed." Belle smiled, though Elsa noted that it didn't quite reach her eyes. "Kristoff's just gone to pick up the pizza, he won't be long."

Though she was putting on a brave face, Elsa could tell Belle was struggling behind the façade, years of friendship made her easy for Elsa to read. Pulling away from Anna, she held out her arm, wordlessly beckoning her to come in for a hug.

"I'm going to miss you." The brunette whispered thickly; her arms wrapped tight around Elsa.

Elsa felt herself choking up, her voice wavering as she spoke. "I'm going to miss you too." Her chest started quivering, her eyes welling up, there was a pain in her heart even though she knew she'd only be around the corner. "So much."

Belle was the first to brake, she began to sob as Anna joined the group hug, sandwiching the brunette between them. "I know- I know you're not going far, and w-we'll see each other all the time, it just- it won't be the same. You were so great and m-made it so easy and now you have to leave… and I have to live with a boy!"

Elsa laughed in spite of herself, tears falling from her own eyes as she held her friend close. Belle was like a sister to her, in some ways, more so than Anna. That one person that had always been there for her, that had taught her what true friendship really was. She'd held her hand through all the ups and downs, through the highs and lows and not once had her support ever wavered. She was Elsa's confidant and therapist and family all in one, and whilst Elsa was beyond excited for this next adventure, she couldn't help but admit that she was more than a little scared.

It's not like she was throwing herself into the unknown, moving in with Anna. She certainly knew what to expect from all the times she'd stayed over previously, but moving in, actually living with the person, was a whole lot more intense than just sharing a bed. She loved Anna dearly and this really was a dream come true for her, but she knew it would take some time to adjust.

Elsa wasn't afraid to admit that she liked her solitude, that she enjoyed her time alone. It gave her the space to think, to decompress and turn things over in her mind. She often found she couldn't write her music when there were other people around, any noise at all was a distraction and sometimes, what she needed most, was silence.

Silence certainly wasn't going to be easy to come by now that she was living with Anna, but she also knew she only had to be open with the redhead and communicate when she needed some space. And sure, it was going to take some learning on both their parts and it was inevitable they'd run into a bump or two along the way, but as long as they were honest with each other, she knew they'd be okay.

"Is Adam still moving in tomorrow?" Elsa asked softly as she stroked a hand through Belle's hair.

"Yeah, he is." She nodded, sniffling as she swiped at her face with her sleeve.

Elsa smiled and brushed her thumb over Belle's cheek, catching the last tears as they fell. "Good, I'm glad, I'd hate for you to be alone."

"Did someone order pizza?" Came Kristoff's voice from the doorway, the boxes balancing on his hands. "Oops, sorry… did I interrupt something?"

The trio broke apart, their eyes red-rimmed and puffy. "It's okay." Elsa assured, sending the other blonde a kind smile. "I don't know about you two, but I'm famished."

The other two women nodded in agreement and the group headed for the loungeroom. Elsa linked her arm with Belle's, bumping her hip with the brunette's as they walked. Once seated on the couch, Kristoff began handing out slices as they made light conversation with the television playing softly in the background.

It felt almost surreal to Elsa, knowing that everything was about to change, it almost didn't quite feel real and she found herself zoning out as she reminisced about her time in the house. It was odd, almost as if her perspective had changed. In a way, she felt like a stranger, despite sitting on the couch she helped pick out surrounded by the people she'd come to know as family.

Elsa was abruptly pulled from her thoughts when Kristoff cleared his throat and held up his can of beer. "To Elsa and Anna… thank fuck you finally got together. If you had just listened to me in the first place, you could have both saved yourselves a whole lot of pain. Sometimes you both really are too stubborn for your own good… guess it must run in the family…"

A chorus of laughter broke out, though Elsa's was decidedly more choked than the other occupants of the room and her face was almost as red as her sister's.

"I'm kidding, I'm kidding." Kristoff chortled, waving a dismissive hand in the air. "In all seriousness, I'm really happy for you two. Seeing you two together… well, it's how I always imagined it would feel like to fall in love and now that I have Sven, I know that to be true.

"Most people would feel like a third wheel when they're around a couple as in love as you are, but I've never felt that way. Seeing you together makes me feel whole, it makes me feel proud and warm and really, I couldn't be happier for you and I don't think there are two people out there more deserving of love than you are. Related by blood or not, you two were made for each other." Kristoff beamed, his chest puffing with pride as he raised his drink again, "To Elsa and Anna, may you live happily ever after."

"Hear, hear!" Joined Belle as they all clinked their cans together.

All too soon the meal was finished, the hour was getting late and the time had come for Elsa to say goodbye and begin the next chapter of her life. She could feel herself becoming emotional before she'd even began to head for the door. She kept telling herself that it was stupid, that she was only moving a short distance away and they'd still see each other all the time, but it wasn't really helping and she had to admit, her hesitance to leave was caused by more than just her fear of missing her friends.

Elsa stood from the couch, "I just want to have one last check of the room, make sure I haven't missed anything." She explained, jabbing her thumb towards the room in question, but before she could take her leave, her hand was caught by Anna who gave it a tug and turned her in place.

"But, Elsa, we were just in there. It's empty." Anna said with confusion, her head cocked to one side and her brows scrunched slightly.

"And it's not like you're moving countries, I can just drop anything off if you forget it." Belle added. "Besides, it'll give me a good excuse if I ever need a break from Adam."

"I know- I just... I'm gonna-" Elsa pulled herself free and hastened towards her old room, shutting the door swiftly behind her. The room looked so empty with just an unmade bed and side table. Everything that made the space her own was gone. Her instruments, the photos, her collection of snow globes and jewellery and papers and just… everything.

The emptiness of the room brought forward flashbacks from her childhood. Painful reminders of moving constantly and never really having a home to call her own. Sometimes, they'd have to leave so suddenly, that she had to abandon some of her possessions and after a while, she just stopped unpacking altogether. It was much easier to leave a space if it never felt like home to begin with.

She couldn't hold back the tears any longer and silently began sobbing as she dropped to her knees. It was all too overwhelming, too much to process. So much had changed in so little time and it seemed like it was all finally catching up with her.

There was a soft knock at the door before it opened slightly. "Elsa?" Came Anna's worried voice as she peered around the wood. Then, she was by her sister's side and cradling her in her arms. "Hey, what's wrong?" Her tone laden with concern as she wrapped her hand around Elsa's elbow and helped guide her to a seat on the nearby bed. "Are you having second thoughts? You don't have to do this if you're not ready. We can wait, I won't be upset."

Elsa shook her head, swiping angrily at her face as she sniffled. "No, I don't- it's not-" She let out a low, frustrated noise and willed her brain and mouth get it together and cooperate. "I've never felt so certain." She said finally. "All my life I've been torn, but not when it comes to you. I want this, I do, I just…" a sigh and the slumping of her shoulders, "I'm really not good with change." She offered as a weary explanation.

Anna, it seemed, had been holding her breath and finally released it in one low – relieved – sigh. "Change is never easy." She agreed, linking her hand with Elsa's. "Maybe instead of focusing on the things that are changing, you should focus on the things that stay the same. Like…" The redhead paused, looking about the room before peering down at their entwined fingers. "Like the feel of your hand in mine." Elsa smiled faintly when the aforementioned limb was lifted to Anna's lips, the petal-soft touch leaving even softer caresses on her skin. "Some things never change, Elsa, like the love that I feel for you. Focus on that. Focus on the things that are consistent, rather than the things that aren't." Anna lips pressed a kiss to the top of Elsa's head. "I'll always be here, holding your hand."

Elsa lifted her head from where it was resting on Anna's shoulder, using her free hand to brush the bangs from the redhead's face before wrapping around the nape of her neck and tangling her fingers in the fine hairs there. "I'm holding on tight to you." She murmured, her eyes slipping to a close as she brought their foreheads together. "I'm never letting you go."

"Good." Anna grinned, nuzzling Elsa's nose with her own. "Because I'm holding on tight to you, too."

"Well, this is it, I guess." Kristoff gave a dopey grin and shrugged, "I'm going to miss running into you in the halls, Snow Queen." Kristoff opened his arms wide, "Get in here." He said.

Elsa didn't need telling twice. The air was almost squeezed from her lungs as she was pulled into a crushing hug. "I'm going to miss you too, Mountain Man." She murmured into his chest before pulling away. "Thank you, Kristoff."

The other blonde cocked his head curiously. "For what?"

"For everything. If it wasn't for you, I don't know where I'd be right now. Anna and I are together because of you, because of your stupid meddling and inability to keep your nose out of other people's business." She forced a watery chuckle, she had to lighten the mood somehow otherwise they were all going to end up crying again. "I owe you the world."

Kristoff shifted his weight from one foot to the next as he cleared his throat and stared at spot on the wall. "Any time." He stated gruffly before releasing Elsa who was, no more than a second later, wrapped in an as equally suffocating embrace by Belle.

"Now look, I know you're all in love and still in the honeymoon faze and that you're wanting to spend as much time with Anna as you can, and that's totally okay and absolutely understandable considering how much time you've spent apart, but just... don't be a stranger, okay?"

Elsa returned the hug with just as much force, "I won't, I promise." Another squeeze and Elsa regrettably pulled away.

"I'll miss you."

"I'll miss you too." Elsa sighed, returning to Anna's side as they headed for the door.

Elsa rested her head against the window, sighing wistfully as the buildings passed by. Her anxiety over moving, or rather, the anxious feelings moving brought up in her, were slowly fading, though they still lingered slightly, niggling persistently in her gut.

Growing up, she had always been so different; normal rules did not apply. She had always struggled to relate to her peers, to those who had stable homes and happy families and close bonds with their parents. Most kids she knew didn't have to move every few months. They didn't have to pack a bag in the middle of the night and sneak away under the cover of darkness. They weren't kept hidden from the world or locked away behind closed doors because of some invisible danger that may or may not be after them.

They didn't have to keep secrets like she did.

"I think I need a hot chocolate after today." Anna commented wearily, one hand grasping the steering wheel and the other entwined with Elsa's as it rested on the centre console.

Elsa turned away from the window, "Some things never change." She mused with a smile and fond chuckle.

Anna's own smile was bright as she squeezed the hand in her own, "See, just like I said."

With another quirk of her lips, Elsa raised Anna's hand to mouth, kissing her knuckles softly. "I'm holding on tight to you."

The hand in her own squeezed again and Anna's smile brightened to a full-blown grin that had her eyes twinkling and made the skin around them wrinkle. "I'm holding on tight to you too."

A/N The version of Let It Go that Elsa performs I found on YouTube a few years ago by a guy called Srod Almenara and it's awesome, you should definitely check it out.

I would really love to hear what everyone thinks of this chapter. It was very up and down for me, there were parts that I loved and some that I just wanted to delete altogether. The smut at the end, for example, gave me more grey hairs and trouble than I care to admit, it was deleted, revised, shortened, deleted again (okay, that's kind of a lie, I NEVER delete anything, but it does get cut and then added to a 'deleted scenes' document of mine) and then I FINALLY found the inspiration to actually write it. And now... holy fuck, now I love it and I really hope you do too.

Thanks for your loyalty, guys. You're all amazing.

Until next time.
