Diana and her friends are still at the house right now. The heatwave is about to end as a matter of fact. They are about to have another thunderstorm. "The heatwave is still going on, Di" said one of her friends.
"It sure is, girls" said Diana. "In fact, we have got a lot of heat all day"
"The heat has to stop already" said her other friend.
"I know, girls" said Diana. "Hopefully the heatwave will be over soon"
"I hope so too, Di" said one of her friends. "How long did we have a heatwave?"
"About 4 to 5 days" said Diana.
"That's almost a week, Di" said her other friend.
"That is true, girls" said Diana. "The good thing that the air conditioner is fixed"
Diana and her friends saw the rain clouds covering the sun.
"Look, Di" said one of her friends.
"What is happening now?" Diana asked.
"The rain clouds have covered the sun" said her other friend.
"It looks like that the heatwave is now over" said Diana.
"It is, Di" said one of her friends.
Diana and her friends saw a raindrop coming from the rain cloud.
"Did you see that, girls?" Diana asked.
"We saw it, Di" said her other friend. "It was a raindrop"
Diana and her friends saw more raindrops outside.
"It is starting to rain" said Diana.
"That is a lot of raindrops" said one of her friends.
"We can stay home during the rain" said Diana.
"That is fine with me, Di" said her other friend.
"It will rain for the rest of the day" said Diana.
"Good thing that we are not going outside today" said one of her friends.
"We can wait until the rain is over" said Diana.
"Okay, Di" said her other friend.
