Holy Hell! Was not expecting this chapter to be so dang huge! XD
Ah well, whatever works. Anyway, there's tons of stuff in this chapter, lol.
Also a little annoucment...I wasn't originall going to, but after working on this story so much its gotten me hyped up. Add in to the fact that one of my favorite arcs is coming up, I think THIS is gonna be the story I'm gonna focus on for a while instead of what I originally planned. Gonna try and make it past the Sports Festival and maybe a little after. We'll see.
But for now, I hope you enjoy!
"This isn't good…this isn't good at all." Currently, right outside of the apartment complex the Midoriya's lived at, All Might, Izuku, and Jaune were all sitting in a truck together. After All Might met up with the two boys in the woods, he had given them a ride home and during this ride Izuku and Jaune, but mostly Izuku, explained the events that had just happened in the woods and abandoned warehouse. Needless to say, everything brought a grim feeling to All Might. "One for All has been copied…"
"I'm…I'm so sorry All Might…" Izuku apologized in an incredibly guilt filled tone as he lowered his head as much as possible. "Its all my fault. I fell into that villain's trap. She tricked me and was able to use that mirror to make Dark Izuku."
"Young Midoriya, don't be so hard on yourself." All Might reassured his successor as he put a hand on Izuku's shoulder. Jaune also reassured his best friend with a hand on his back. "You couldn't have possibly known something like…that would happen. I mean a mirror that could create a 'darker half' kinda sounds like something from a fantasy novel."
"No one could have seen it coming." Jaune further added to cheer up his best friend. "You shouldn't blame yourself to much. I'm pretty sure I would have done the same thing as you."
"Still…" Izuku sighed out as he was still feeling a large pit in his stomach from everything that had recently happened. Not just him being tricked into creating Dark Izuku and by extension a copy of One for All, but also because of…other things. "Dark he…has One for All."
All Might let out a long sigh as he leaned back in his seat. The Number One hero running his bone hand through his hair as he said. "Yeah…that's not a good thing at all…" All Might didn't like a thing about that. Him and all previous wielders of One for All have done everything in their power to keep One for All from ending up in the hands of evil. "And from what you told me, Dark Midoriya seems to be rather unstable and destructive. And his very existence is unnatural, he's essentially artificial life."
"Well…I don't know about a few of those." Jaune spoke up causing both All Might and Izuku to look at him with confused expressions. "While yes he was admittedly …kind of a jerk. But when I got there, he said he didn't want to hurt me. And I could tell he was hesitating a few times during our fight."
"Really?" All Might asked with a head tilt. While he still was far from at ease from the situation, Jaune's words did leave the Symbol of Peace a bit curious.
"Yeah it was strange but…I think it kinda shows something." Jaune explained with the two in the seats in front of him listening closely. "I don't think he's an opposite of Izuku more like…a remix I guess."
"A remix?" Izuku questioned with a confused look.
"That's the best way I could put it." Jaune sheepishly admitted as he scratched the back of his head. "What I mean is…I don't really think he's an evil Izuku and more so just a bit of a 'no holds back' kinda of Izuku. Like Chaotic Neutral if that makes sense."
"What like from Dungeons and Dragons?" All Might asked making both 15-year-old boys eyes widen a little bit as they slowly turned to All Might.
"And…you would know that how?" Izuku slowly asked as he and Izuku locked their eyes upon the skinny form of the Symbol of Peace.
"…Even if that is true." All Might immediately moved away from the topic of D&D and got back to talking about Dark Izuku. Something that made Izuku and Jaune deadpan at the Symbol of Peace. "He does still have One for All. Plus young Midoriya's face. Could end up causing the real thing some trouble. I'll get my friend Tsukauchi informed about this as soon as possible so that they we don't end up in one of those cliché 'clone ruins the originals life' gotta catch this copy as soon as possible."
"Yeah…" Izuku breathlessly let out as that bad feeling in his stomach soon returned.
All Might sensed Izuku's unease and guilt and went back in to his muscle form and gave his usual All Might smile. Though he did have to duck a bit due to his head hitting the roof of the truck. "No need to worry young Midoriya! I promise this fake you will be met with justice! Just remember that you still revealed another member of the League of Villains and still gave it your all. This just gives you another reason to go Plus Ultra in your hero training!"
All Might quickly popped out of his muscle form but continued to smile at his successor with Jaune giving a brief laugh. Although Izuku still felt uneasy, the gesture did make him crack a smile and let out a small and quiet chuckle. "Yeah…alright." Izuku said with a nod.
"Now why don't you head home and get some well-earned rest." All Might said as he pointed his thumb to the apartment complex they were parked at. "You got a little sister to get back to as well. Speaking of which, would you mind taking her to UA tomorrow? Recovery Girl wanted to preform some more test on her and try to figure out what her quirk is."
"Yeah, no problem. I'm showing up early at UA for something tomorrow anyway." Izuku revealed to his friend and mentor who both raised an eyebrow. All Might was completely clueless to Izuku's meeting with Velvet at Quirky's and while Jaune knew of it Izuku didn't give exact details or say how Izuku would be meeting her at UA tomorrow. "Besides, I doubt Eri would wanna be separated from me anyway so this works perfectly."
"Is it she doesn't wanna be separated from you?" Jaune began with a bit of a teasing smirk. "Or do you not wanna be separated from her?"
"…Yes."
Both blonds in the truck chuckled at Izuku's answered with All Might saying. "Well don't wanna keep her waiting. I'll see you tomorrow young Midoriya."
"Yeah, see you both at school tomorrow." Izuku waved his friend and mentor goodbye before exiting the truck.
Both Jaune and All Might watched as Izuku jogged towards his apartment, and once he was out of sight Jaune turned to All Might again and asked. "So…do you play Dungeons and Dragons?"
"…Never tell anyone."
"Oh my Oum! Izuku are you alright?!" Quick to worry, the second Izuku entered his family's apartment and took off his signature red sneakers Inko was quick to notice the bruises on her son as well as the two holes in his shirt. "What happen? Are you being picked on again? I thought you told me everything at UA was going fine? Weren't you with your friends? Jaune came over and dropped Eri off and said you'd be back soon."
"Mom, mom, mom…I'm fine." Izuku quickly reassured his mother by putting his hands softly on her shoulders and looked into her eyes. "Really. I, um, got these because me and the guys did some…training. Y-Yeah! We were working on our quirks and got a little carried away. Its fine."
Inko sighed in relief, seemingly believing Izuku's story. Izuku always hated lying to his mother. He often lied about his past injuries caused by Bakugo and his gang beating him up and just giving random excuse like he fell or some other stuff. He didn't want to stress his mother out with stuff like that.
But in this scenario, what was he supposed to say? 'Everything's fine mom. I just got led into a trap by a villain who proceeded to clone me with said clone quickly picking a fight with me and now is on the loose somewhere.'
Yeah…this was for the best.
"Well that's a relief." Inko said as Izuku took his arms off his mothers' shoulders. "Although please try to be more careful next time. You're gonna give me a heart attack one of these days if stuff like this keeps happening."
"Yeah. I will." Izuku nodded with a small but tired smile on his face. "How's Eri?"
"Oh she's sleeping in your room right now. I even gave her one of your All Might hoodies to use as a blanket." Inko slightly beamed as she mentioned this. "Oh I can't put into words how cute she is! You'll just have to see it for yourself."
"Hehe, yeah. I could use some sleep myself." Izuku was utterly exhausted in more ways then one. Izuku quickly started walking over to his room eager to both see his little sister and crash down onto bed…but a lingering question brought unease into his mind. He put a hand on the door knob and was about to open up the door to his room…but he stopped himself and turned to his mom. "Hey mom can I…can I ask you something?"
"Of course sweetie." Inko instantly told her son. "What is it?"
"And…when I ask you don't sugarcoat it alright?" Izuku requested this as well from Inko which caused her eyes to widen a tiny bit. "I want a full honest answer please."
"O-Of course Izuku." Inko stuttered a bit as she now started to feel some of the unease her son was feeling and quickly grew concerned. "Is everything alright?"
Izuku felt really uncomfortable asking this question. Especially to his mother. Izuku was always one to try and bottle up his emotions and problems. Even to someone like Jaune who Izuku knew that, despite what some might think at first glance, actually had more self confidence than him. Granted the bar isn't very high on that one but still. Despite the fact that he was his best friend, there were tons of things Izuku never revealed to Jaune and hoped he wouldn't have to.
But after everything that just happened with Dark Izuku, this problem in particular was one he just couldn't try and ignore anymore and hopefully his mother, someone who has the most experience with Izuku, could hopefully help him with.
"Am I…Am I a good person?"
"W-What…" Inko…certainly wasn't expecting a question like that. It sent shivers up her spine and her heart clenched a bit as she looked at her son's face and saw just how much effort it took to simply ask the question. "Izuku what do you mean by-"
"Its just that lately I've been getting…bad thoughts in my head." Izuku admitted as he turned to his mother with a lowered head. He lightly trembled as he revealed more to his mother. "I try not to think them…I don't want to think them but…they just keep popping up…"
"Izuku…"
"I just…I just hate that I get them but no matter what I just can't stop it. And the worst part…sometimes I don't want to stop them. Its like a part of me is saying that that's how I should be thinking. How I should be thinking about everything and everyone…and I just hate myself for thinking that way.
"Izuku..."
"And sometimes it just gets worse and worse and with more people involved. My old teachers and classmates, my friends...even All Might and…and…and…you. I-I'm so sorry…I just…sometimes I can't stop them. How am I supposed to be a hero of any kind if this keeps I-"
"IZUKU STOP!"
Izuku was quickly cut off, not even realizing that tears were going down his eyes, as Inko, who also had gone misty eyed, quickly pulled her son into a tight hug. Izuku's eyes widened a bit with more tears coming out as his legs instinctively bent down so he was at his mothers' level of height so they could place their heads on the others shoulder. Izuku quickly wrapped his arms around his mother, eager for her embrace.
"Please…don't you ever say that about yourself!" Inko quietly but firmly told her son as her tears stained his shirt a bit, some hitting his skin due to the holes left by Dark Izuku. "Its ok, its ok, its ok."
"But…what about everything I just said?" Izuku's voice broke a little and was slightly muffled due to him burying his head in his mothers shoulder. "I just…I keep having these bad thoughts and I just can't stop them. Even about you…and I love you mom."
"I know you do sweetie. And I love you. And these thoughts you have, they're just as you said they are. Just thoughts. They just make you human like everyone else." Inko reassured her son as she put on a shaky smile while pulling away from him so they can look each other in the eye. "Izuku…getting these kinds of thoughts is perfectly natural. Everyone gets them. Heroes, students, even me."
"But I-" Izuku tried to say again but was cut off by his mother.
"What matters is choosing whether or not to act on these thoughts. And I'm sure maybe sometimes you have. Call it mothers' intuition but even I've gotten into my fair share of…incidents in my younger days." Izuku flinched as he remembered what Dark Izuku said about him enjoying the beating he gave Bakugo during training. But his mother's words were making him feel better and he even cracked a smile at the image of his sweet innocent mother getting into possible trouble when she was his age.
But then again…Mitsuki Bakugo, Katsuki Bakugo's mother, was her best friend growing up and considering how she usually is…he believed it.
"And having them about me…well…I can't say I don't deserve it." Izuku's eyes widened at what his mother admitted as Inko looked down in shame. "You wanted to be a hero no matter what and I…I did nothing to support you. All I did was apologize and wish that things would be different. And maybe…sometimes I tried to discourage you from it without even realizing it…sometimes I just…I just feel like I'm a terrible mother for not believing in you…"
"Mom, no! Please, don't ever say that about yourself!" This time it was Izuku's turn to reassure his mom as he wiped away some of the tears on her face. "You…You're the main reason I am who I am today. You did your best. Honestly I felt like a burden to you. I mean, d…dad left because of-"
"Izuku…don't. Even. Mention. That man." It always scared Izuku when he saw his mother angry. Granted she wasn't angry at him but still. "He was a scumbag that bailed out on you for no good reason. Don't blame yourself at all for him, he doesn't deserve anything from you." Izuku lowered his head a bit, but nodded. His mother was quick to comfort him as she cupped his cheek with her hand. "Look, I can't apologize enough for my behavior before. And those thoughts in your head, they're nothing but thoughts. What I see right now is my big strong baby boy who's attending UA and is gonna make the best hero. I believe in you Izuku, and nothing will ever change that."
Izuku sniffled loudly as more tears came down his face. But he still put on a shaky smile as he nodded at his mother. "I'll make you proud mom…"
Inko gave Izuku a sweet motherly smile before giving her son a kiss on the cheek. "You already have." Izuku's smile got a bit bigger as he wiped the tears off his face. "Now why don't you get some rest with Eri. You must be exhausted right now."
Izuku gave a small chuckle and nodded his head. "Very much so yes." It was Inko's turn to give a small laugh as Izuku turned back to his door. But when he put his hand on the knob, he told his mother one more thing. "I love you mom. And also…I think you should start dating again. You deserve to be happy and deserve someone as great as you." Before his mother could respond, Izuku quickly went into his room.
Inko was certainly got off guard by that last statement.
When Izuku entered his room, he let out a long-tired sigh as he leaned against his door. The fight with Dark Izuku took most of his physical energy and that talk with his mom took all of his emotional energy and then some. Yeah, he was an eager to get to bed.
But before he could he was met with one of the single cutest sights in possibly the history of forever.
Eri curled up on his bed using one of his All Might hoodies as a blank just like his mother told him. Eri even had a thumb in her mouth. Izuku just gave a small smile on the outside but on the inside was squealing a bit because of how cute his little sister was.
So, being careful not to wake her up, Izuku gently picked up Eri while keeping his All Might hoodie wrapped around her. He held her close as he then laid down in bed with his adoptive sibling and closed his eyes. "I love you Eri…" Izuku mumbled quietly to the white-haired girl.
"I love you to big brother…" Izuku opened his eyes a bit to see Eri still asleep, but with a genuine and sweet smile on her face.
Izuku's eyes teared up again as he pulled Eri closer and joined his little sister in slumber.
THE NEXT MORNING
"Its big." Eri's eyes were wide and full of wonder as she looked up at the incredibly big school building in front of her, U.A. Both Izuku and Eri stood next to each other, Eri holding Izuku's hand like usual, and were at the gate leading into U.A. High School.
"Yeah, I had the same reaction." Izuku chuckled a bit at the look on Eri's face. It almost perfectly matched his reaction when he first came to UA with Jaune to work on One for All. After last night Izuku still felt some unease, but after talking with his mom he also felt a lot better. And that smile Eri gave in her sleep last night was nothing but medichine for his heart.
And if he could make Eri smile more like that in the future, well…Izuku was sure everything would be fine.
"I know it can be overwhelming but I promise you there's nothing to worry about." Izuku reassured his little sister as she looked up at him. Eri briefly let go of Izuku's hand and raised her arms. Izuku knew this was Eri's way of asking to be picked up and the greenette had no objections to it and proceeded to pick up Eri and hold her close and tightly. "I promise the people here are really nice…most of them anyway." Izuku muttered that last part so Eri wouldn't hear it. A certain swearing ash-blond coming to his mind.
Welp, no avoiding it. Eri was gonna meet him as well as all of his classmates today. She's already met a couple so hopefully everything should be fine…right?
"Young Midoriya and Eri…ARE HERE!" Immediately as they entered the teachers lounge, they were met with the buff form of All Might greeting them. Izuku sorta expected this and simply laughed a little, but Eri was a bit different as she flinched from the greeting and buried her head into Izuku's chest.
"Good morning All Might." Izuku greeted his mentor while keeping a tight grip on Eri and lightly rubbing her back to reassure her that everything was ok. "Is Recovery Girl ready?"
"Indeed she is!" All Might confirmed as he pointed to a door on the side of the room. "I'll admit though you're here a lot sooner then I thought you'd be, I know you said you were coming in early anyway but it's still quite a bit before classes start. And where's young Arc?"
"O-Oh w-well I'm a-actually meeting someone h-here about the s-school newspaper." Izuku stuttered nervously with a blush on his face as he remembered who exactly he was meeting for that. "A-And I didn't w-want to wake Jaune up so e-early for s-something he's not involved in."
"Ah I see." All Might nodded in understanding. "Didn't know you were part of the paper either, how come you didn't tell me?"
"I-I-I'm not! At least n-not officially that is." Izuku quickly explained to All Might, not wanting his mentor to think he was hiding things from him. "S-S-Some o-o-one w-working on i-it wanted me t-to come in for q-questions about t-the U-USJ incident a-and I f-figured w-why not. E-Even if I-I did p-pass out in the end."
"Yes…passed out." All Might nervously cleared his throat after saying that. He hated that he was lying to his successor about what really happened to him at the USJ but knew it was the best. He wasn't sure how exactly Izuku would react to it. It was better to just keep it under wraps for now. "Anyway, its good to hear you helping and interacting with other students!" All Might then bent down a bit to get a better look at Eri who flinch a bit as All Might looked into her eyes. "And how are you enjoying your new family young Eri?"
"I-I r-really like it…" Eri said as she emphasized her words by holding on tighter to Izuku.
All Might chuckled a bit at the sight. Despite Eri's stutter and quiet tone, All Might could tell that Izuku already meant everything to her and didn't wanna leave his side. Even though she would have to briefly as right at this moment Recovery Girl stepped into the room and gave a kind smile as she saw All Might, Izuku, and Eri in the lounge. "Ah you're all here." Recovery Girl greeted them as she walked up to the three, syringe cane in hand as usual. The Symbol of Peace and Midoriya siblings looked down at the healing hero as she looked at Eri with a kind and motherly smile. "Hello there Eri, do you remember me?"
"Uh-huh." Eri gave a small nod as Izuku placed his little sister back on the floor but still held his hand tightly. "Hi Miss Recovery Girl."
"It's good to see you again dearie." Recovery Girl said to the 5-year-old Midoriya, kind and gentle smile still on her face. "I would actually like to speak to you in private if you wouldn't mind."
Eri was hesitant as seen by her backing up towards Izuku's leg. But her big brother quickly reassured her as the greenette placed a hand on her shoulder and gave his little sister a smile and nod. Nodding nervously herself, Eri was still very hesitant as she let go of her big brothers' hands and took the one belonging to the Youthful Heroine who proceeded to lead Eri to the other room.
"Don't worry Young Midoriya, she'll be fine." All Might reassured the 9th user of One for All as he noticed that Izuku seemed to frown sadly a bit when his little sister left the room. "So, how are you doing after everything that happened yesterday?"
"Well…I was taking everything pretty hard at first but after talking about some things with my mom I…feel a lot better." Izuku explained to All Might as memories of his conversation with his mom came to his mind. It still weighed a lot on him but finally letting at least a little of it out to someone felt a lot better. "And don't worry I didn't give her the specifics of Dark or One for All just…some things that have been going on lately."
All Might nodded in response, glad to hear that Izuku seemed to be doing fine. "Glad to hear it, always better to talk about your problems them bottling them up." Izuku flinched a bit at that. He was still bottling plenty up but…yesterday was some progress on opening up that bottle, right? "Anyway, I think its better to leave Dark Midoriya's existence a secret from your classmates. Leave them out of the trouble you know what I mean?"
"Yeah, I agree." Given how Dark Izuku talked and acted, no doubt Bakugo would probably at the top of his list of people's ass to kick. "What about your friend on the force? Tsukauchi?"
"Don't worry, he's already got the police and pro heroes on the look out for him. And incase he does use your face to start trouble, he said he'll make sure to come to me to make sure of your innocence." All Might explained to Izuku letting the greenette breath a massive sigh of relief. "Now then, let's not worry about that anymore right now. I believe you have somewhere to be! And it's a hero's job to always be on time!"
"O-Oh yeah you're right! I nearly forgot!" Izuku quickly remembered he was supposed to meet up with Velvet at...um…at…"By the way do you know the school paper is made? I kinda forgot to ask."
"Don't worry young Midoriya, its not far from here." All Might began telling his successor the directions to the school paper room. "Just keep going down this hallway and it's the fourth door on the right."
"Alright! Thanks All Might!" Izuku was quickly to go back to the hallway so he could meet up with Velvet. "Look after Eri until I get back!"
"You got it!" All Might gave a thumbs up to the retreating form of Izuku.
"Ok Velvet, just calm down, calm down, calm down…" Currently in the room where the U.A. School Newspaper was made, a medium sized with a few computers, high powered printers, newspaper clippings depicting various events that have happened around the city and even some beyond that, was none other than Velvet Scarlatina.
The bunny girls' ears were flat against the back of her head, visibly showing how nervous she was. And that's not even counting the fire red color her cheeks had. "He'll still show up right? Yeah, yeah, of course he will…then again he did seem pretty nervous when I talked to him…" Velvet was pacing back and forth as she was anxiously waiting for the arrival of Izuku Midoriya. Or at least she was hoping he was showing up as shown by what she was saying. "Oh no! Did I come on to strong? I did just kinda ask him out of the blue while he was hanging out with his friends. Oooooh, what if he thinks I'm weird?"
As Velvet kept over worrying, she held her cheeks while her ears twitched a bit as she remembered the day she first say Izuku Midoriya…
"Wow, those shades look really nice on you Coco!" Velvet said as she and three others were currently in the lunchroom walking over to their usual table with trays of food in their hands. One of these people was Velvet in her school uniform.
One of the three Velvet was with a 16-year-old girl also wearing a school uniform like Velvet. They had fair skin. Dark brown eyes hidden by a pair of black, wire-rimmed aviator sunglasses, short dark brown hair with wavy locks on one side of her face that's dyed with a gradient that starts as dark brown and transitions to a caramel color. And on her head was a black beret with a cocoa brown trim. This is Velvets best friend, Coco Adel.
The other two in their group were boys and as such had the male U.A. uniforms. One of these boys had dark skin and dark messy copper hair with a long fringe and a cowlick. He has a vertical scar on his lip and his white are a pure, faded white. This is Fox Alistair.
The last person of this group was a rather tall young man at 7 feet. He had tanned skinned and shaved-short black hair. He also had black eyes and tanned skin. This was Yatsuhashi Daichi.
"Hmph, thanks Velvet." Coco gave a smirk to her bunny best friend as she adjusted her shades. "What can I say, I can make anything work."
"You are the schools fashionista after all." Yatsuhashi complimented with a small smile on his face.
"Eh, if you're asking me you spend to much time worrying about what you wear." Fox commented with a shrug and amused smirk on his face. "In my opinion, I think you look good in everything you wear."
"Gee, thanks Fox." Coco sarcastically said with the roll of her eyes. She knew what her friend was doing and has heard it way too many times. He always goes for the blind jokes. "That means everything coming from you."
"What can I say?" Fox said with a shit eating grin. "I just have an eye for these things."
Velvet giggled a bit at Fox's antics as she looked forward again. "Well anyway, how did you guys think you did on the…math…quiz…." However, Velvet ended up letting her eyes wander around the lunch room and her brown eyes stopping and locking onto a table where a bunch of first year hero students were sitting. Particularly, her eyes falling upon a 15-year-old boy with messy green and black hair with green eyes.
"Uuuuuuuuh…" That was the only thing Velvet was able to let out as her eyes refused to leave the first year. From what she could see, he seemed to be a bit shaky and stuttered nervously when he talked. Because of her rabbit ears, she could hear pretty much everyone talking in the lunch room so she couldn't single his voice out. But she could read his lips pretty well. Plus the fact that she was often like that as well.
When it came to new people she wasn't used to, Velvet was usually a quite shy girl who would stutter. So she knew exactly what stuttering looked like. As for his looks, admittedly he looked kinda plain but also had a cute charm to him. His freckles were a nice and cute feature, his emerald green eyes were nice to look at and Velvet could only imagine how it would feel to run a hand through his curls…wait…where'd that last thought come from?
"Yo, earth to Velvet. Earth to Velvet." Velvet was suddenly snapped out of it and was brought back into reality by Coco snapping her fingers in front of the bunny girls face. But that didn't stop her pink cheeks or beating heart.
"H-Huh…" Velvet turned to see all her friends looking at her with a confused expression. Well, all except Fox who had his usual grin on his face. "Whats going on?"
"Is everything alright Scarlatina?" Yatsuhashi asked in a calm but concerned tone. "You kinda spaced out there."
"And I'm the one who's supposed to stare out into nothing." Fox joked as he waggled some fingers in front of his blind eyes.
"You're blind, doesn't count." Coco said as she lightly shoved Fox who simply cracked out a chuckle in response. Coco rose a brow at her best friend and asked. "So whats grabbing your attention bun-bun?"
"O-Oh…" Velvet stuttered as she moved her eyes to briefly glance at the greenette across the lunch room before looking back at her friends. "Um...nothing."
"Yeah right." If Fox could roll his eyes, he would have. "Even I can see something is up."
"Wait a minute…" Coco looked to where Velvet was standing and then point two fingers at the bunny girls' eyes and started directing them to the direction Velvet was just looking at. "in the direction you were looking...let me see...you were staring at that green haired kid?"
"What, no I wasn't." Velvet quickly denied as she looked away from her friends, the blush on her face turning a slightly darker shade. "Hehehe why would I do that..."
"Come on Scarlantina, we're your friends you can tell us." Yatsuhashi reassured the rabbit girl with a strong but soft hand on her shoulder as he gave her a gentle smile. "We won't tease you."
"Much." Fox added in with a grin only to earn a strong elbow from Coco. "Ow!"
"Ok..." Velvet admitted as her ears went back a bit in embarrassment. The four proceeded to sit down at the table they were closest to and decided to focus on this whether then finding their usual eating place. "Maybe I WAS staring at the green haired kid."
"Aaaaaww." Coco gushed a bit as she poked her friend's shoulder. "Does our little bunny have her first crush~"
"Pffft what? Don't be ridiculous." Velvet was quick to deny that notion, but the squeak in her voice, even deeper shade of red on her cheeks, and constantly twitch ears and even nose at this point gave it all away. "He's a first-year student. Why would I have a crush on someone like that. Hehehehe…..."
"I mean...YOU'RE techically a first-year student in the Support Course." Fox pointed out as Velvet was taking both the second-year hero course as well as the first-year support course this year. Technically making Velvet both a first and second year.
"Still…" Velvet mumbled embarrassedly as her ears pressed against the back of her head.
"…Ok." Coco shrugged her shoulders as she stood up. "If you don't have a crush. I guess I can just invite him to come over here."
"NO! NO! PLEASE DON'T!" Velvet immediately stood up from her seat to stop Coco. She waved her hands around frantically with her entire face now lava red and her ears standing up perfect straight a top her head.
Coco's already response was to smirk at her friend and put her hands on her hips. Velvet groaned in complete embarrassment as Fox was giving her a stupid grin and Yatsuhashi giving her a sympathetic smile. The bunny turned and faced forward as she grabbed her ears and used them to try and cover her face. "You're cruel Coco..."
"It's alright to have a crush, it's just a natural feeling." Yastuhashi told Velvet with no hint of mockery in his voice. "There's no shame in admitting it."
"Mmmmmm…" Velvet continued to hide her ever heating up face with her long bunny ear.
"Come on Velvet, why don't you just talk to him." Fox pitched to Velvet his advice as he started to eat. "I don't get why girls make such a big deal about this. Its simple. Just go up and talk to the dude…uh…no offense Adel."
"Oh no, none taken." Coco told her blind friend before turning back to Velvet. "In fact, I agree with you. Velvet, you got one week."
"H-Huh?" Velvet peaked through her ears to look at Coco.
"I'm not gonna let you turn this into some sort of soap opera or high school drama." Coco told her best friend in a firm tone. "I'm giving you one week, seven days, to talk to that boy or I'm gonna take things into my own hands."
Velvet could only gulp in response, knowing there was no way of getting out of this…
"Coco…why'd you have to drag me into this…" Back in the present, Velvet was continuing to try, and fail, to calm herself down. "Ok, ok, ok Velvet. Just…try and get it together. I mean he seems nice he's just…a little nervous! I'm nervous to! So…that's something we have in common! That's a good thing, right?"
Before Velvet could say anything else to herself, her bunny ears perked up straight as she heard the door to the room being opened. Her face quickly snapped towards the door as she watched it slowly open up with none other then the greenette himself stepping inside the room.
'HE'S HERE!'
"H-H-Hi M-Midoriya…" Velvet did her best to try and pull herself together when Izuku came into the room. It did reassure her a bit to see that Izuku's face also seemed nervous with some pink on his cheeks. "G-Glad you could make it. Was starting to think you might have forgot."
"Oh no, no, no! N-Not at all!" Izuku quickly reassured the bunny girl in front of him. "S-Sorry if I d-did arrive a l-little late. I-I had to l-leave my little s-sister w-with Recovery Girl is all."
"Little Sister?" Velvet questioned with the tilt of her head. She was about to ask about her, but then she remembered the other day when she saw and officially met Izuku at the mall and remembered a cute little girl with white hair and a single horn. "Oh! You mean that adorable little girl that was with you is your sister? I had no idea! She hardly looked like you so I just thought you were babysitting while hanging out with your friends."
"Hehe, yep she's my sister." Izuku confirmed with a nod and nervous smile. While Velvet seemed really nice and even shared some traits at him, he was still rather shaky around a majority of girls. And especially a cute bunny girl like Velvet…wait…where'd that come from? "S-S-She's a-a-actually a-adoptive s-so that's w-why we l-look so different." Izuku's stuttered even more with his cheeks heating up due to that stray thought entering his head.
"Ah that makes sense." Velvet said with a girl before gesturing to the room around her. "Anyway, welcome to the printing room! This is where I make the schools newspaper!"
"Huh, where's everyone else?" Izuku asked as he saw that they were the only two standing in the room. He'd thought that the rest of the staff behind the paper would be here but its just Velvet. "Are they not here yet or-"
"Hehe, well I did say this is where I make the paper…" Velvet sheepishly admitted as she scratched one of her rabbit ears. "I-Its kinda j-just me h-here…"
"O-Oh, I'm so sorry." Izuku apologized as he lowered his head a bit. "I guess it must get pretty lonely huh?"
"S-Sometimes." Velvet admitted as she frowned a bit. But her eyes came to Izuku and she quickly put on a smile as a blush came to her. "B-But I'm not lonely right now. You're here…"
"O-Oh…" Izuku's blush became even hotter and darker at Velvets words. Though it did give him a warm fuzzing feeling that it was him of all people helping keep Velvet company. "W-Well…I'm happy t-that you a-asked me to come h-here then…"
It was Velvet's turn for her blush to intensify but she still had a small smile on her face as she let out a giggle. "S-So its still a while before p-people start to show up f-for class. I know I brought you here t-to learn more a-about the USJ incident but…maybe we can learn more about each other."
"O-Oh, uh, y-yeah s-sure! I'd l-love to!" Izuku nodded with his usual stutter. While a part of him did wonder why exactly Velvet wanted to get to know him, a bigger part of him wanted to get to know Velvet herself so he went along with it. "S-So where s-should we start exactly?"
"…Here, I wanna show you something." Velvet then turned around and went over to a draw…and was about to do something that made her incredibly embarrassed. A piece of 'advice' Coco texted her the other day…
Coco: And hey, if you need an extra push to win him over maybe show him that fluffy tail of yours~
'I can't believe I'm actually about to do this…' Velvets face was practically glowing red at this point. So, taking a deep breath, Velvet proceeded to bend down way more then what was necessary to reach the bottom draw.
Izuku moved his head towards Velvet, unaware of what she was about to do, and his face exploded with red as he managed to see up her skirt. Thankfully she was waring shorts underneath so he didn't see her underwear…but what he could see was none other then a small and fluffy brown and white bunny tail. 'I-Its so fluffy…' Izuku's whole body was red and releasing steam. He tried to look away to respect her, but some reason his face was glued to the cotton ball attached the girl and he was doing his best not to scream out apologizes for peaking.
"A-A-A-A-Alright h-h-here i-it is…" Velvet finally stood back up straight after receiving the item she wanted to show Izuku. Looking to the boy, she couldn't help but feel a little…proud that she got that kinda reaction from it. It was kinda cute to see him extremely flustered honestly. Maybe she could do it again sometime…
'Not yet Velvet! Just…give it some more time.' Velvet told herself as she shook her head. If she did something like that to Izuku again she might end up giving him a heart attack from the way he reacted to just seeing her tail. Calming herself down, she put an excited smile on her face as she proceeded to show Izuku something she was extremely proud of. "Now…feast your eyes on…this!"
A camera.
"Huh?" Thankfully the rather…anti-climatic reveal of the thing Velvet wanting to show him being a simple brown and yellow flash camera. "So…what's up with this?"
"I know what you're thinking, this is just a simple camera. Right?" Velvet smirked a bit at Izuku who lowered his head a bit and apologized. Velvet reassured him it was ok as she's gotten that reaction from a few people…and always showed them that this little camera is more then meets the eye. "But check this out!" Velvet then pointed the camera's lens towards her hands and pressed one of the two buttons on top of it. A beam of light was projected from the camera and suddenly, appearing in Velvets hand, was a purple holographic outline of a weapon that looked like a cross between a blunderbuss and a battle axe. "Ta-da!"
"Woah! That looks like Professor Ports Blowhard!" Izuku said with immense amounts of surprise in his voice as he looked at the holographic weapons Velvet was actually holding in her hands. It matched the look of his hero's laws teacher. "How…how'd you do that?"
Velvet couldn't help but smirk at the reaction he had to her creation. "I call it Anesidora. This camera allows me to make a light copy of any weapon or piece of support gear I take a picture of. Think of them like holograms with mass. They only last a little while, but while I have them and combine them with my Mimic quirk I can use them to the exact same skill as the actual wielder."
"That's…That's amazing Scarlatina! That just makes your quirk even better then it already is!" Izuku was quick to complimented the bunny girl making blush, but also smirk a bit with pride. "How did you make something like that?"
"Trust me it wasn't easy. Can't even count the number of failed attempts I've had trying to make it." Velvet explained as she twirled around the holographic Blowhard in her hand. Velvet looked to the copy weapon and a small came to her face as a rather funny idea came to her mind. "Hey, check this out." Velvet then pointed the camera at her face and pressed the projection button again and Izuku watched and his cheeks puffed up a bit as a purple holographic copy of Port's mustache appeared on Velvet. "Ho-ho! No one can oppose me and manly mu-stache!"
"Pfffft…" Izuku covered his mouth and tried his best not to burst out laughing as Velvet lowered her voice and tried to do an impression of Professor Port.
"Haha! I am the manliest!" Velvet hopped around a bit until she was right in front of Izuku.
"Hehehe…" Izuku was started to crack and Velvet decided to go for the killing blow.
"Bow down to my facial hair!" Velvet twirled the holographic weapon in one hand and put some fingers on her other hand through the holographic mustache on her face.
"HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Izuku couldn't take it anymore and started laughing uncontrollably while clenching his stomach. Velvet couldn't help but join him in laughter as the holographic Blowhard and Portstache disappeared. "STOP! STOP! I CAN'T TAKE ANYMORE OF THIS!"
"Well…" Both UA students' eyes widened as they looked to the now open door to the printing room and saw a rather grumpy looking Professor Port looking at them. "Good to know you kids respect me so much. I'm going back to the teachers lounge…"
Izuku and Velvet watched as Port walked away with slumped shoulders in the direction of the teachers lounge. And once he was gone, "AHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Both Izuku and Velvet busted out laughing once more even harder than last time.
This went on for a solid minute before the two's laughter died down as they took heavy breaths to regain the air they just used up. "So, what more do you wanna know about me? Or would you rather go first?" Velvet asked as the two took a seat next to each other.
"I-I'd like you to go first." Izuku said as the two looked into each other's eyes. "If y-you don't mind."
Velvet simply smiled and giggled. "I'd love to."
"Oh my Oum! You used to pretend save your mom in an All Might onsie?" Velvet giggled as she and Izuku walked through the halls of UA towards the teachers' lounge.
"Hehe, yeah…" Izuku nodded as he sheepishly scratched the back of his head. An embarrassed blush and expression on his face.
"Aw, don't be embarrassed." Velvet reassured Izuku with a friendly smile on her face. "It's adorable!"
"Thanks…" Izuku said as a shaky smile came to his head. He had a nice and long conversation with Velvet as the two talked about each other's interest, hobbies, likes, and dislikes. They got to know a lot about each other. Although because of this they kinda forgot the original reason why Velvet asked Izuku to meet her here in the first place but if you asked them, they didn't really care. The chat they had was a much more fun time. "So I better pick up my sister and get ready for class. It was a lot of fun getting to know you Scarlatina."
"Same to you Midoriya." Velvet returned the gesture with a sweet smile that made Izuku blush again. "Maybe we could…do this again sometime?" After saying this, Velvet blushed as she pulled out a small slip of paper and handed it to the greenette.
Looking to the paper, Izuku saw that it was a number. A phone number. Velvets phone number. Izuku's face exploded with red as he looked up to Velvet who waved shyly at Izuku. "Call me sometime." Before Izuku could say anything, Velvet quickly turned around and started to cutely bunny hop away.
Izuku was frozen and silent as he continued to watch Velvet hop away. Only once she was out of sight was he able to speak. "Wow…" Izuku could swear she saw her tail again as she was hopping. After a minute or two, Izuku was finally broken out of the state he was in.
Turning to the door to the teachers lounge, Izuku opened it ready to pick up his sister and head to class-
"You left without me!" Jaune looked right into Izuku's eyes the second the greenette opened the door with narrowed eyes.
"…I can explain."
"Ok, I get why you had to do it, I would have taken the chance to talk to a pretty girl myself, but you still could have told me how early you were coming." Currently Izuku, Jaune, and Eri were walking through the halls of UA together heading to the teen's respective classroom with Eri going along with her big brother of course. And in Eri's mouth was a lollipop Recovery Girl had given her. Apple flavored of course. "I mean come on man, not cool just making me come here by myself. I would have gone to bed earlier you know."
"Sorry Jaune, next time I promise to tell you." Izuku told his best friend as he carried his sister through the halls of U.A. while she happily sucked on her apple flavored candy. A few students they passed gave Izuku weird looks as they saw him with a child but the greenette paid them no mind. "Just didn't wanna get you up for something that you might not have been interested in."
"Ah well, don't worry about. Past is in the past." Jaune reassured his friend with a pat on the back. "So, you doing ok after…ya know?"
Eri tilted her head a bit, wondering what Jaune was talking about as Izuku spoke up. "Yeah, I think I'm doing ok. A talk with my mom last night really helped." Izuku explained to Jaune who smiled at hearing that his friend was doing fine. "And I had a lot of fun talking to Scarlatina. I really had a fun time getting to know her."
"Oh really now~" Jaune said as he leaned in close to his best friends ear. "So when's your first date?"
"W-W-W-WHAT!?" Izuku exploded into red causing Eri to look at him with a confused look to why her big brother was acting like this.
"Hey just saying." Jaune couldn't help but tease a little as he rose his hands up. "A girl wanting to get to know you and being shy and nervous around you, sounds like she's wanting to ask you out on a date."
"C-C-Come on Jaune i-its n-not like that." Izuku denied with his face still fire red. "S-She's j-just a r-really n-nice girl t-that's a friend n-now that's all."
"Well whatever you say." Jaune said as he put a shoulder on his best friends' shoulder. "Guess know if you need any advice, just come to your old friend Jaune Arc. I'm…kind of an expert on that feeling of love." Izuku simply rolled his eyes at Jaune's statement, but still smiled as the two went to class.
Currently in class 1-A, most of the students were already there and waiting for class to start. The only students who seemed to not be here yet were Weiss, Tokoyami, Izuku, Iida, and their teacher Mr. Aizawa. A few students were just quietly waiting at their desk for class to start while others were chatting the time away and were invigorated to be back in class.
"Man, those reports out there are like leeches." Yang commented as she leaned back in her chair and crossed her hands behind her head. "They wouldn't leave me and Rubes alone. I swear if it wasn't for Mr. Hound Dog I would have start busting their heads myself."
True to Yang's words, currently surrounding the UA barrier were tons of reporters eager to get the scoop on the whole USJ thing. Luckily due to coming early, Izuku, Eri, and Jaune didn't have to face them when they came to school. Everyone else however…
"Ribbit, it does make sense though." Tsuyu croaked as she put a finger to her chin. "I mean this is the first time in decades U.A. has been attacked by villains. Especially on this scale."
"So wait, does this make us famous or something?" Kaminari asked with a grin on his face. "Because that's freaking awe-OW!"
Kaminari was cut off by Jiro who proceeded to stab the electric quirk user in the head with one of her earphone jacks. "I don't get why you're acting so happy about it." Jiro commented as she retreated her jack from the poor boy's skull. "Mr. Aizawa nearly died."
"Not to mention what happened to Midoriya." Blake commented with a frown on her face. Everyone that had witnessed Izuku's beserker rage had a shiver go up their spine at the memory of just how powerful and ferocious the out of control greenette was. "I hope he's doing ok after everything.
"Did he seriously just…freak out like that?" Momo asked as she was one of the students who didn't bare witness to Izuku's extreme power. While they talked about this, Bakugo was uncharacteristically silent. However, he was still tightening his fist and gritted his teeth as they talked about it. Mini sparks appearing in his clenched fist.
"Yeah, it was…crazy to say the least." Ruby explained with a sheepish smile on her face. "Remember everyone, we're not allowed to talk about it with him. That email said he has no memory of what he did and we can't tell him." The whole class nodded at the statement as they all got that email that required them to keep their mouth shut to Izuku about him going berserk.
"Well don't worry guys there's no need to worry." Kirishima reassured everyone with a shark toothed grin and thumbs up. "Me and a few other guys hung out with Midorbro the other day and we can all say's he's doing more than ok right now."
"Well that's a relief." Ochako breathed out a sigh of relief at Kirishima's news.
Just then the door opening up snapped everyones attention towards the entrance of their classroom. "And this is my classroom." They recognized the voice as Izuku's.
"The doors big." A soft voice pointed out. The class didn't recognize this voice and was wondering who it belonged to. Everyone except…
"Hey!" Kirishima said with a grin on his face, happy to see this person again. "You brought Eri!"
"Deku!" Uraraka happily chirped as she watched her friend come into the class. "You're ok!"
"Glad to see you up and at em green bean." Yang greeted Izuku with a smirk.
"Um, Midoriya?" Blake questioned with a raised brow and some pink coming to her cheeks. "Who's that little girl with you?"
The entire classroom became confused to Blake's statement, sans Kirishima, as they looked to Izuku and saw his little sister Eri hiding behind his leg and looking everyone.
Izuku's chuckled nervously a bit, remembering this would be Eri's first time meeting all his classmates. "T-This is E-Eri. She's my little sister." Izuku revealed to everyone with said girl shyly waving to everyone while still hiding behind her older brother's leg. "I got permission to bring her to school with me."
"You don't have a sister Deku." Bakugo narrowed his eyes at Izuku harshly. He couldn't believe that Izuku was hiding a quirk for him for the last 10 years. But no way was he hiding the fact that he had a little sister for, after evaluating how old Eri probably was, 5 years. Besides, they didn't look anything alike.
"I-I do know." Izuku informed Bakugo as Eri hugged Izuku's leg tighter, a bit scarred by the blond meanie. "My mom adopted her after the whole USJ things so know she's my little sister.
"Oh my Oum…" Izuku looked to the rest of the class and saw that most of the females have lost their color and were completely white as they stared at Eri.
"She's…" The white Ruby and Ochako said in unison.
"So…" The white Mina, and Yang said in unison.
"CUTE!" Tooru and Momo yelled as suddenly all six girls quickly started to swarm the Midoriya siblings with all the girls giggled uncontrollably at the unicorns overwhelming cuteness. Even the more reserved girls like Blake and Jiro were trying their best not to go over to the younger Midoriya and pinch her little cheeks.
"Your sisters adorable Midoriya!" Tsuyu, being one of the few females to not bolt from her seat to go to Eri, said with her usual blank face being broken as the frog girl grinned and blush as she looked at Eri.
"She's like an adorable little cinnamon roll!" Ruby gushed with her silver eyes sparkling at the maximum as she crouched down to Eri's level to get a better look at the girl.
"Mmmmm…" Eri's cheeks turned a bit pink at the constant compliments she was getting, but her shyness still took over her as she completely hid behind Izuku's legs.
Izuku gave his sister a reassuring smile as he picked the 5-year-old girl up and help her close to his chest with Eri burying her face in it but still managing to peak an eye out at all the girls surrounding her and her brother. "Aaaaawww." Ochako gushed at the girl's shyness. "She really takes after her big brother huh?"
"Heheh, yeah…" Izuku sheepishly chuckled as some pink came to his cheeks. "She's just not used to be around so many people at once."
"Aaaww, there's no need for that Eri. We're really nice!" Yang chimed in as she suddenly grabbed Eri away from Izuku and held the flinching girl up and looked right into the 5-year-olds red eyes. "Its nice to meet you Eri! My names Yang, but just call me your Auntie Yang!"
"Auntie…Yang?" Eri repeated as she blinked at Yang a few times.
Happy years built up in Yang's eyes as she proceeded to squish the girl into a bear hug. "Please don't care me anything else ever again." Yang said as she snuggled the girl.
"Hey! I wanna turn holding her!" Mina said as she took Eri away from Yang, with Yang glaring at Mina with her purple eyes turning red. The pink girl smiled bright at Eri but that smile increased ten-fold when she saw the horn on Eri's head. "Oh my Oum…she has a horn! She had a horn! Kirishima! We have a new horn buddy!" Kirishima simply chuckled and give a thumbs up, having met Eri already before he was already well aware of the girl's single horn.
"Midoriya, if you ever need some more cloths for Eri just tell me right away ok." Momo told the greenette with a bubbly smile on her face as Eri continued to get passed around from girl to girl. "I have some old dresses that would look absolutely precious on her!"
"Oh yeah, that'd be great actually!" Izuku quickly took Momo up on her offer. Although he and his mom got plenty of cloths for Eri, some more couldn't hurt. "Thank you so much!" Momo eagerly nodded and already started imagining Eri in some of her old little dresses.
"Midoriya, you have to bring her every day!" Ruby told Izuku in a begging tone as she grabbed Izuku's shoulders and looked him in the air.
"Yeah no problem Rose." Izuku said with a sheepish chuckle. He was then about to go over and get his sister back so they could sit on his deck, but a incredibly strong grip from his shoulders stopped him.
Looking back to Ruby, he flinched when he saw the girl with a dark aura around her and her silver eyes piercing right into his green ones. "I mean it Midoriya." Ruby said in a dead serious tone. "Every. Single. Day!"
"Y-Y-Y-Yeah!" Izuku quickly nodded his nod, not wanting to face the rose themed girls rath. "P-P-P-Promise!"
"Yay!" Ruby was back to her cheerful demeanor as she finally let go of Izuku and went back to where the girls had Eri. "Hey! I wanna snuggle with her now! Stopping hogging her Hakagure!"
"NEVER!"
Izuku simply sweat dropped as he watched the rest of the girls in his class fawn over his little sister. Even Blake and Jiro could no longer resist and went over to go check out the 5-year-old Midoriya themselves. Most of the guys in the class sweat dropped themselves at the display, although they couldn't really argue due to most of them agreeing that Eri was indeed super cute. Although Mineta was seen seething with jealously at Izuku due to the fact that all the girls were crowding around him earlier due to his sister.
'Guess I'll just let them have their fun.' Izuku thought as he continued watching the scene. He didn't want to face any of the girl's wrath if he tried to take her away from them. Plus, it looked like Eri was slowly starting to get used to it. 'Think I'll just head back to my desk and-'
"Midoriya!" Suddenly, stopping Izuku, was a pair of arms coming from behind and pulling him into a hug. Izuku was a bit surprised, but that surprise was only amplified as he saw who exactly was hugging him. Weiss Schnee.
Izuku's face exploded into red for the third time today as he saw the white-haired beauty of class 1-A actually hugging him with a small smile on her face. Even the rest of the class noticed this with many looking at the scene with a bit of surprise. Even the girls playing with Eri had their attention brought to Izuku and Weiss with Eri's eyes widening a tiny bit at Weiss.
After a moment or two, Weiss let go of Izuku and looked at the boy and couldn't help but giggle a bit at his bright red face. "Its really good to see that you're ok." Weiss told Izuku with a soft smile on her usual ice-cold face. "After the whole USJ incident I was really worried about you."
'S-She was…worried about me?' Izuku thought as his lava red face cooled down a bit from Weiss's words. He managed to send a shaky smile back to Weiss and said. "I was really worried about you too. When that hand villain touched your face I…feared the worst."
Weiss gave Izuku a reassuring look and put a hand on the boy's shoulder. "Don't worry. I promise you I'm fine." That news made Izuku happy. He couldn't be more glad that Weiss was doing just fine after everything. And Weiss was glad to see Izuku was both ok and no longer freaking out.
"Did…Did Schnee just hug Midoriya?" Kaminari questioned as the 'ice-queen' as most of the class called her was the last one most of them expected to show some affection to Izuku.
"Yeah, really strange." Sero added in.
"Lucky bastard…" Mineta muttered with jealously as he slammed his fist against his desk.
"Wow…" A soft and new voice go Weiss's attention as she looked forward and downward to see Eri looking right at her.
"Oh…my…Oum!" Suddenly Weiss was right in front of Eri, any trace of her usual demeanor gone, as she looked at Izuku's sister with big sparkly eyes. "Now who's this little cutie patootie!"
'CUTIE PATOOTIE?!' Everyone thought in unison, very much surprised to hear those words come out of Weiss's mouth of all people.
"Eri." Eri told Weiss her name, strangely no shyness coming from the 5-year-old as she pointed to Weiss. "You're the pretty lady from big brothers' notebook." Eri then pointed to Izuku.
"ERI!" Izuku yelled as he knew that Eri was referring to the picture of Weiss he drew in his notebook.
"Big brother? This is your sister Midoriya?" Weiss asked as she looked to where Eri was pointing. But then she realized exactly what Eri said and looked back to the 5-year-old with a raised brow. "Wait, what?"
"Izuku has a drawing of you in his notebook." Eri innocently said, not realizing how much she was embarrassing her brother. "You look really pretty in it."
Weiss blushed a bit as Izuku covered his face with his hands, wishing he could just disappear from the universe right now. "Making a drawing of her in that notebook of yours huh Midoriya~" Yang teased as nearly everyone in the classroom looked to either Weiss or Izuku. "Why don't you show her~"
"You're not helping the situation." Izuku told Yang with his voice muffled by his hands.
"Who said I wanted to help?" Yang winked at Izuku while sticking his tongue out.
Izuku just mumbled into his hands in complete embarrassment. 'Please whatever merciful being in the universe that exist give me some escape from this situation.'
"Apologizes for taking so long to get here everyone. Those reporters are like rabid dogs."
Everyone, despite the awkward situation going on between Izuku and Weiss, look to the door to see another one of their classmates entering. Most of 1-A simply gave a nod to their classmates, but the second Eri's fell upon the student…her blood went cold.
Fumikage Tokoyami.
"Oh, d-don't worry about it Tokoyami." Izuku reassured his bird headed classmates as Tokoyami entered the classmates. Eri's breathing became rapid and she started shaking as Tokoyami approached.
"And who's this?" He asked as his bird-like looked down at Eri who was only becoming more terrified.
"Oh this is-"
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!" Cutting Izuku off, Eri let out a high pitch shriek of terror as she quickly ran past Tokoyami as fast as she could and bolted out of the classroom.
"ERI!" Izuku called out to his sister as he quickly began to chase after her.
"Was it…something I said?" Tokoyami questioned with a sweat drop. But just then the birdman flinched as he felt a…foreboding presence right behind him and slowly turned to look at all the girls at of 1-A fiercely glaring at him.
"So, you like scarring cute little girls huh?" Yang said with red eyes as she cracked her knuckles. "Well we'll show you bird brain!"
And thus, the males of class 1-A bore witness to a massacre.
"Eri! Eri where'd you go!?" Izuku ran through the halls of UA in a desperate attempt to find his sister. It all happened so fast. One second Eri was embarrassing him in front of the whole class, the next Tokoyami enters and Eri just freaks out. "What was that even all about?"
"Eri? What are you doing here? And what's wrong?"
Izuku's eyes widened at the all too familiar voice. Quickly looking to the source, he saw none other then the class rep of 1-A Iida as well as Eri holding onto his legs like it was the only thing keeping her safe. "Eri! Iida!" Izuku called out to them as he sped walk to the two, Eri quickly ran towards her brother and jumped up to him. Izuku catched her and held her close to him as Eri buried her face in his chest, letting out fearful tears and whimpers. Izuku was quickly to comfort his sister as he gently ran his hand through her hair. "Its ok, everything's ok. I got you."
"Midoriya, why is your sister here?" Iida questioned as he walked over to the two siblings. "And what's wrong? She seems scared."
"Well to answer the first question I got special permission for her to be here since she doesn't really like leaving my side…kinda the same for me to." Izuku revealed to Iida who nodded in understanding. "For the second one…I'm not to sure. Tokoyami entered the classroom and saw Eri and she just…freaked out."
"Tokoyami?" Iida questioned as he put a hand to his chin. "Why would she be scared of him?"
Izuku hummed in response as Eri continued to treat Izuku like her lifeline. "Maybe…he reminded her of her…abusers." Iida gasped as Izuku revealed this to him. "I didn't mention this before but…I found Eri in the dumpster next to my apartment building. She was scared of me at first and after I calmed her down she didn't wanna leave my side and was scared of nearly everyone around her. She was even nervous around my mom and Jaune. Also…she has scars over her arms. Incision marks.
"How vile." Iida said with nothing but disgust in his voice after hearing Izuku's explanation. "To put a child through all of that. Truly there is no greater evil. So Tokoyami reminds her of them huh?"
"They had mask…" Both boys' attention was brought to Eri after she had managed to squeak out an explanation. Thanks to Izuku she had calmed down a bit, but was still very much on edge. "Kai…always wore a mask…it looked like his face…"
Izuku hummed a bit after hearing Eri drop that name again. Kai. It was obviously the name of her abuser but Izuku had no idea who that could be exactly. Not even All Might could find out when Izuku told him about. "Mask…and Tokoyami…" Iida had a hand on his chin as he tried to piece things together. "Its possible she might be referring to 17th century plague mask."
"Plague mask?" Izuku hummed in response as he tried to think of what Iida was talking about. Izuku then hummed as images of bird mask came into his mind. "Oh yeah I think I know what you're talking about. Uncle Oobleck showed them to me in a history book one time. Is that why you were scarred of Tokoyami Eri?"
Eri's only response was a whimper causing Izuku to hold her tighter. Not wanting to see her like this, Iida put on a calm smile and placed a hand softly on Eri's head causing the girl to peak at him. "I promise you Eri that you have nothing to worry about." The younger brother of Ingenium reassured the girl. "Tokoyami is a fellow classmate and hero in training just like me and your big brother here. I'd trust him with my life."
"R-Really?" Eri asked as she removed a bit more of her face from her brother's chest.
"Really." Iida nodded as he took his hand off of Eri and stood up perfectly straight. "Nothing will happen to you here. You have Midoriya, myself, and all our classmates and teachers looking out for you. Speaking of which, I believe its time for us to be getting into class wouldn't you agree Midoriya?"
"Yeah." Izuku said with a nod before looking down at his sister. "Iida's right Eri. I promise I won't let anything bad happen to you. I'll never let you go."
"…Thank you big brother." Eri said as she leaned into her brother's chest again. Now she was far less tense and calmer. Both 15-year-olds smiled at the results as they both proceeded to head to class.
"Good morning class." A few minutes later, everyone in class 1-A was now sitting in their seats with Izuku having Eri on his lap. However, Tokoyami was less sitting on his seat and more so laying unconscious on his desk as the girls of 1-A made sure to give him a proper punishment for scarring Eri has shown by the many head bumps he had. And not long after sitting down, the door opened again and from it stepped not Mr. Aizawa, but Glynda Goodwitch. "Glad to see everyone in their seats."
A few of the class wondered why she was hear right now and rose their hands, but Glynda simply walked to the front of the classroom and quickly got down to business. "For those curious Aizawa is still receiving treatment in the hospital. And don't you worry, he should be fine after a few more weeks." Many of the class sighed in relief at hearing that their teacher was going to be just fine. "So until then I'll be taking the place at your homeroom teacher. Now then, lets get right to the point. I hope you all aren't too relaxed after your extended vacation or think things will calm down after the USJ incident. You're fight isn't over yet."
"Our fight?" Bakugo asked with piqued interest.
"Don't tell me…" Ruby squeaked out with nervousness in her voice.
"Not more bad guys!" Mineta quickly panicked.
Glynda was silent for a moment before adjusting her glasses and giving a serious look to her students. "The U.A. Sports Festival is about to start."
"Alright!" Kirishima cheered with a pumped-up fist while a majority of the class…
"WHY WOULD YOU SCARE US LIKE THAT?!"
"Izuku, what's a Sports Festival?" Everyone's attention was brought to the ever adorable Eri as she looked up at Izuku from his lap with a curious expression.
"Midoriya, who might this be?" Glynda asked as she eyed the girl on Izuku's lap.
"O-Oh, this is Eri. My little sister." Izuku answered as Eri looked to Glynda. "I-I got special permission to bring her here. I-I hope that's alright with you."
"…" Glynda was silent for a moment, her stern expression still on her face. But, something no one in the class could have seen coming, was a genuine soft smile coming to Glynda's face as she looked at the younger Midoriya. "That's perfectly alright. Its very nice to meet you Eri, my name is Mrs. Goodwitch."
"Hi Mrs. Goodwitch." Eri cutely waved to the U.A. teacher.
"Yikes." Kaminari commented as he looked at the smile on the normally stern teachers face. "I didn't think she could smile."
"What was that Mr. Kaminari?" Glynda's head snapped towards the electric quirk user, her stern expression back in an instant.
"Um, nothing ma'am!" Kaminari quickly said with Jiro snickering at the situation her friend got himself into.
"Anyway Eri, the Sports Festival is like this." Yang was the one to speak up and explain things to the girl. Yang's expression was nothing short of incredibly excited as she was possibly the one most hyped up for the festival. "Basically all of us and all the other first years students are gonna compete in a bunch of different events to try and prove that we're the best!"
Eri nodded in understanding of the explanation before looking up to her brother. "Are you gonna be in it big brother?"
"Yep." Izuku nodded with a sheepish expression on his face. "Hopefully I won't end up just embarrassing myself…"
"Don't worry Midoriya! You're gonna do great!" Ruby cheered her friend one with a hyped-up expression on her face as well. "Oh this is so exciting!"
"Hold on, are you sure this is a good idea Mrs. Goodwitch?" Jiro questioned as she rose her hand. "I mean a bunch of villains just snuck inside a U.A. facility."
"They could attack once we're all in the same place." Ojiro pointed out.
"It does seem kind of reckless." Blake commented as she put a hand to her chin. "I mean everyones still on edge about the whole thing. Wouldn't it be safer to reschedule the event?"
"All good points students but the administration thought it would be a good way to show that the treat had been handled." Glynda explained to the students. "Security is also going to be raised to an all time all with many pro heroes and police scouting around the area to watch after things. And villain attack or no this event is a huge opportunity for everyone who goes to this school. You only get three chances at it in a lifetime so no one can afford to miss it for any reason. Nothing a few villains can lead us to cancelling."
"Um, I'm sorry but why now?" Mineta questioned with a terrified expression on his face. "It's just the Sports Festival."
"Huh?" Izuku hummed as he turned around to face Mineta with Eri poking her head out at him. "Mineta don't you know how important this competition is?"
"Of course I do!" Mineta yelled to the greenette. "I just don't wanna get murdered."
"Wow, a perv and a coward." Yang commented with the roll of her eyes. "And here I thought you couldn't get more unrespectable." Mineta paled and laid his face against his desk in response.
"Anyway students, the Sports Festival is one of the most watched events in the entire world." Glynda continued her explanation of the event. "It's essentially the replacement for the Olympic games which died out soon after quirks started to appear in the world. This event is not only where people go to watch intense competition, but also where heroes and their agency's watch and scout for future potential."
"She's right." Weiss nodded as she took in all of her teachers' words. "Top heroes from the entire world are watching. This is where we get scouted. We can't afford to miss it or do anything less than our absolute best."
"Yeah! After graduating a lot of people join pro agencies as a sidekick!" Kaminari explained the benefits of the Sports Festival. Do well enough and agencies are eager to take you on as a sidekick, officially beginning one's career as a hero.
"Yeah, but that's as far some people go." Jiro pointed out as she turned to the electric blond. "They miss their chance to go indie and stay eternal sidekicks. Actually, that's probably where you're heading. You're kinda dumb." This got a few of the students to laugh at Kaminari's expense.
"He does have a point however." Glynda pointed out as she cracked her wiping crop against the desk she was in front of to get everyone to quiet down. "Many top agencies watch this event and scout upcoming heroes such as you. This can lead to you working under then and gaining new experience and knowledge. That's why the festival matters. If you wish to go pro, then this event could open a path for you. So you students better not slack off on your training."
"Yes ma'am!"
"Well…talk about no pressure." About an hour later, Izuku, Eri, Jaune, Iida, Uraraka, Blake, Yang, Ruby, Weiss, Pyrrha, Ren, and Nora were all walking together towards the lunch room. Similar to 1-A, 1-B had gotten the same announcement about the sports festival with the class members reactions ranging from hyped up to nervous. Jaune being on the latter end of that spectrum. "Kinda nerve wracking huh?"
"What no way!" Nora, with her usual endless amounts of energy, said as she popped up next to her class rep and began flexing her arms. "We're gonna be competing in thee sports festival! Its time to get psyched! We're gonna crush the opposition!"
"Um, we'll all competing against each other." Blake pointed out to the ginger. "So all of us all the opposition."
"I know what I said!"
"Well I can definitely say I'm both nervous and excited." Ruby spoke her piece. "I've been watching the Sports Festival since I was kid. Getting to actually be in them is a dream come true. But it also makes me want to do as good as everyone who's been in it before."
"Don't worry sis, we're all gonna do great!" Yang cheered as she wrapped an arm around Ruby's shoulder. "Its time to kick some serious as…kick some butt…yeah."
"Thank you for that." Izuku gave Yang a sheepish smile at her attempts to not swear in front of Eri. "We really gotta amp up our training for this event. Can't afford to slack off even for a second."
"Well me and Jaune are more then willing to help you out Midoriya." Pyrrha told the greenette with her usual kinda smile. "He told me you wanted to train with us and you're more than welcome."
Izuku gave the amazon a nod as thanks as Ren put a hand to his chin. "Although it is important to train every single aspect of our bodies and quirks." Ren pointed out as everyone looked to him. "We don't have any information on what the various events could be. Some could focus on strength, others on stamina, and so fourth. We should focus on training every aspect of our bodies for the best possible odds."
"I quite agree Ren." Iida nodded at 1-B's ninja's words. "For all we know there could be an event where our quirks would be more of a drawback then a benefit. We have to stay sharp."
"Aw come on you buncha spoil sports. We can't also forget to have fun!" Nora told everyone as she bounced around the group with a giant grin on her face. She finally stopped around she was in front of Eri and crouched down to the 5-year-olds level. "Especially you Eri! Oh my Oum I can't believe how cute you are! You do know how cute you are right? Do ya? Do ya? Do ya? Do ya?"
"Nora stop." Ren told his ginger haired friend. "You're scarring her." Sure enough, Eri was hiding behind Izuku's leg due to Nora's little…outburst.
"Aaaww, don't worry Eri." Weiss was quick to comfort the scarred child as she knelt down to the girl's level and put a hand on Eri's hand. "The big mean girl won't hurt you." Nora puffed out her cheeks our Weiss with a few in the group snickering.
"Your sister is awfully adorable Midoriya." Pyrrha commented as she looked down at Eri with a motherly smile. "Ooooooh, I can't wait to get my hands on those little cheeks!"
Izuku chuckled sheepishly in response before turning to Uraraka. "Well you should have seen Uraraka earlier." Izuku pointed out making said girl flinch and nervously scratch the back of her head. "She was…oddly pumped up for the festival."
"Hehehe, sorry about that…" Uraraka nervously apologized. "Guess I just got hyped up is all."
"Hey that's how you should be feeling!" Yang encouraged with a giant grin on her face. "It's the freaking Sports Festival! Get psyched girl!" At this last remark, Yang proceeded to do something that surprised their entire group and proceeded to smack Blakes butt.
"YANG!" Blake yelled with a beet red face.
"You liked it~" Yang shot back with a smirk.
"Eeeeh, should you really be doing that stuff in front of Eri?" Jaune pointed out as Yang and Blake looked to Eri and saw that Weiss was covering her eyes and glaring at the black and yellow themed girls.
"Um…anyway…" Izuku awkwardly cleared his throat to try and get everyone to move away from the awkwardly situation. "Uraraka there's something I wanted to ask you. Why exactly do you wanna be a hero? That's questions always kinda been on my mind."
"Oh, uh, well…because…" Uraraka nervously began as she rapidly started scratching the back of her head. "I…want money."
"Oh…" Izuku let out with everyone turning to Izuku.
"…Well that's kinda boring." Nora bluntly said earning a soft push from Ren.
"So…you only wanna become a hero for the money?" Blake rose a brow at Ochako with a bit of a…displeased expression on her face. She was expecting a much more…noble reason for someone to become a hero.
"If we're cutting to the chase then yeah…" Uraraka confirmed as she refused to make eye contact with anyone. "I'm sorry if it sounds greedy! You all have such admirable motivations. I hope you don't think less of me now."
"Hey, nothing wrong with that. Girl wants her cash" Yang shrugged with a smirk on her face before turning to Weiss. "Ain't that right ice queen?"
"Beg your pardon!" Weiss snapped at Yang while holding Eri in her arms.
"Yeah there's nothing wrong with that Uraraka." Jaune was quick to reassure the Gravity Quirk user. "I mean money's a reason why people usually get jobs. Not much different here."
"Exactly! Your goal is to support your wellbeing." Iida added in while making his usual hand gestures. "That is a perfectly admirable ambition to have."
"Mm-hm." Izuku nodded. "It's just kinda surprising."
"I'm sure there's a specific reason for wanting money in the first place." Ruby pointed out as she walked next to Uraraka and put a hand on her shoulder. "Care to elaborate?"
Ochako sighs and nods at Ruby's words. "Well, you see…" the gravity girl started to explain. "My family owns a construction company but we haven't gotten any work lately, so we're flat broke. I wanna get my hero license so I can help them with my quirk but they always tell me not to worry about it. But still…I wanna give them a good life. So when I become a hero I'm gonna make lots of money so I can help support them and pay them back for supporting and raising me my whole life."
Ochako looked down after explaining everything to her friends, worried what their reactions might be. But finally breaking the silence was Iida was he started dramatically applauding the girl. "How noble! Bravo! Bravo! Bravo!"
"That's a perfectly just goal for wanting to be a hero." Ren complimented Ochako with a small smile on his face and a fist to his heart. "You should be proud." Blake nodded in agreement with Ren as she gave a similar smile and nod towards the girl.
Ochako's eyes teared up a bit as her friends complimented her and her goal. But the real icing on the cake was Eri who rose up her fist and told the gravity girl. "You can do it miss Uraraka."
"ERI!" Ochako happily cried out at the small girls cuteness.
"HAHAHAHA!"
"Uh, you guys hear that?" Jaune asked as Blakes cat ears twitched a bit.
"Young Midoriya, Eri, and Arc are here!" Suddenly All Might appeared before everyone and pointed to the three people he had mentioned.
"A-All Might!" Both boys All Might called out to let out in unison. "What's up?"
"Lunch." All Might said as he pulled out a wrapped-up bento box. "You three wanna eat with me?"
"THAT'S ADORABLE!" Ochako and Ruby let out at once at seeing the bunny rabbit pattern on the wrapping to All Might's lunch.
"Yeah sure." Izuku nodded along with Jaune as Izuku went picked up his sisters but was meant with whimpers from the girls.
"Does she have to go with you?" Pyrrha asked with puppy dog eyes, not wanting the cute child to leave her sight.
"Well…um…" Izuku looked at all the girls sadden faces before looking down at Eri. "Eri, do you wanna come with me or is it ok if the rest of the girls take you for lunch?"
"Um…" Eri hummed a bit in thought as she looked at the girls in front of her. Specifically, the pretty one Izuku drew in his journal that her big brother seemed to be fawned of. So, releasing herself from her brother's arms Eri walked over to the group in front of her.
Pyrrha smiled widely, thinking Eri was going over to her, but quickly sulked and whimpered as Eri went to Weiss's side and grabbed her hand. "Yes." Weiss quietly said in a victorious tone.
"I'll be ok big brother." Eri reassured Izuku.
"Alright Eri." Izuku smiled at the scene of his little sister holding Weiss's hands. "We'll be right back." And with that, Izuku, Jaune, and All Might all made the trip to the lunch room together.
"What do you think All Might wanted with Midoriya and Arc?" Ruby asked as currently she, Yang, Weiss, and Blake were all standing together in line for lunch. Along with them was Eri who Weiss was holding and trying to hide herself from all the people in the lunch room. Iida and Ochako as well as Ren, Nora, and Pyrrha were all in different lines as well.
"I'm not to sure." Blake said as she put a hand to her chin in thought. "It is quite strange."
"Hmmm, well remember what Tsuyu said on the bus ride to the USJ?" Yang pointed out as the four girls remembered how their amphibious classmate compared Izuku and All Might's quirks, stating how they're similar. "Maybe he wants to learn more about. Especially considering…" All the girls shivered a bit at what Yang was referring to.
"Considering what?" Eri innocently asked.
"Oh, uh, nothing Eri!" Weiss quickly told the girl with a sweet smile. "Nothing to worry about at all!"
"Plus Arc's quirk is pretty interesting to." Ruby pointed out as she remembered how Jaune described his quirk. "And considering how he and Midoriya are best friends maybe he's knocking out two birds with one stone by talking to them."
"Eh, we'll pry answers out of them when they get back." Yang said with a grin as she crossed her arms behind her head.
While the other girls rolled their eyes at the blonds words, another group of four approached them…
"Excuse me? But do you all know were I-Izuku M-M-Midoriya is?" Looking to the source of the Australian accent and saw the bunny girl herself Velvet as well as her friends Coco, Yatsuhashi, and Fox approaching them.
"You know Midoriya?" Blake questioned them with a raised eyebrow.
"You could say that." Coco told them with a smirk on her face as she put a hand to Velvet's shoulder. "Our little bunny here thought is pretty good friends with them if I say so myself."
Weiss felt a…odd feeling over coming her as she narrowed her eyes at Velvet. "Is that so?" Weiss went back to her icy cold demeaner as she looked at Velvet. "And how is that?"
"W-Well…" Velvet stuttered a bit as she tried to form the right words.
Just then Eri looked at Velvet and a sudden smile came to the girls face as her red eyes fell upon Velvet. "Bunny!" Eri chirped as she pointed to Velvets ears.
"Aaaaaaaww." Velvet let out as she looked at Eri and got closer to the girl, Weiss continuing to glare at the bunny girl. Velvet looked more over the girl and remembered her as the little girl Izuku was with at the mall. "You must be Midoriya's little sister huh? Its great to meet you! You can call me Velvet!"
"You still haven't answered my question." Weiss's tone was getting a bit harsh causing Velvet to flinch and for Ruby and Blake to raise an eyebrow at the heiress. Yang however smirked. She knew exactly why Weiss was doing this and was gonna enjoy the hell out of it later. "How exactly do you know Midoriya?"
Velvet flinched again at Weiss's tone while Coco glared behind her glasses. Backing up her friend, Coco stepped forward and put a hand on Velvets shoulder and told Weiss. "That's none of your business princess." Coco said to Weiss, wishing there wasn't an adorably cute child she was already thinking of outfits for present so she could swear. "Just tell us where the green bean is."
Weiss was about to retort, but Blake quickly spoke up before any conflict could start. "He and his friend are having lunch with one of the teachers." The cat girl told the four second years in front of her. "They wanted to meet them about something."
"Oh, I see." Velvet said in a bit of a saddened tone as he ears went down a little. "I was hoping to talk to him again…"
"Don't worry Scarlatina." Yatsuhashi reassured his friend with a hand on her shoulder. "I'm sure he'll pop up again soon."
Just then Fox grinned as he pointed in a random direction. "There he is!" Both Fox's group, Ruby's group and Eri looked in the direction Fox was pointing in only to see a lack of Izuku. They all looked back to Fox, those knowing he was blind deadpanning at him, as the dark-skinned boy gave them a shit-eating grin. "That's what'll sound like when one of you spots him." Fox then looked to everyone and waved a hand in front of his wave.
All the while a certain scar faced boy eavesdropped on their conversation…
"Wait your time is running out?!"
"Only a little over an hour a day now?!"
"Yep, that's about how long I can use my power now."
Currently in the teachers lounge, All Might, Izuku, and Jaune were all eating lunch and drinking tea together. But that wasn't the main reason All Might brought them there. He also wanted to inform them of one important issue. All Might's time as the Symbol of Peace is running out.
"My powers been draining more and more every day." All Might told them after taking a drink of his tea. "Guess I overdid a few times. But the point is, there's only so much time left before I can no longer be All Might."
"No way…" Jaune said as he and Izuku lowered their heads. They knew it was inevitable but still…to know that one day the Symbol of Peace won't be able to use his power anymore.
"Don't you boys worry about it one bit though ok?" Both boys gasped a bit as All Might said that and gave the two a smile. "We all knew it was coming. Its better to just make do with the time I have left then worry about it. Anyway, what I really wanted you boys here for is to talk about the Sports Festival."
"Well I can definitely say we're really nervous about it." Izuku sheepishly chuckled with Jaune scratching the back of his head.
"It's the biggest event in the world." Jaune pointed out as he sipped some of his tea to try and calm himself down. "All those eyes and cameras on us…well at least I'll be able to cross being on TV off my bucket list."
All Might chuckled in response to the two boys as he stood up. "Well don't be. While I admit the pressure can be a bit intense, once you're out there competing you won't even notice it." All Might then stood up and started walking over to the window which showed off a view of the entire city in the distance. "But back to the point. I don't have much time as All Might, the Symbol of Peace. Villains everywhere are starting to notice that, so someone has to step up and keep the people safe. Not just someone, but two someones." Both Izuku and Jaune stood up at this and looked to All Might, realizing he was talking about them. "I trained you both for a reason. Because I see the incredibly potential in both of you to stand up and take my place as Symbols of Peace. Young Midoriya, you have a heroic spirit to who I passed my quirk onto, and Young Arc you have so much hidden potential with both your quirk and your skill to help others rise up. You will soon both take my place and while there can only be one official number one, you both can bring out the best in others and even yourselves. And now the time has come for both of you to prove it. The whole country…no…the entire world is going to be watching this very closely. Think of this Sports Festival of you two's debut. The new heroes of the world. Izuku Midoriya, Jaune arc, I want you both to introduce yourselves to the world…and proudly say together…"
"We are here!"
Man did this take a lot of effort but its worth it! Anyway, just want to tell everyone that I'm adding in another chapter before the Sports Festival. Next chapter is gonna be pretty much a training montage of all the characters training and getting ready for the festival, so everyone gets a time to shine! Also, gonna be adding in something from RWBY. Hehe, won't say what it is but I'll give a hint. Its one of the most memorable things from Volume 2. I'm really looking forward to it and I hope you all will be to. So with that said remember to fav, follow, and leave a review!
