"We're early today Ashy Boy," Says Gary as he along with Ash was going for their practice session.
"We still need to hurry if we want to get some extra practice, we don't get off from studies more often" replied Ash in a hurry.
"Don't tell me I already know that, you'll also notice that the cheerleaders drool over me" says Gary as he smirks.
"Oh really?" replies Ash in monotone.
"Yeah practically my six-pack abs were the highlight which was clearly visible from underneath my shirt," says Gary
"Shut up Gary & move, are you sure Lillie was interested in them too?" Asked Ash as he smirks back.
"Yeah I am totally sure," says Gary with his own smirk
"It sucks I can't train with you Gary yet and you get to boast so much," Says Ash as he smirks.
"My training session is early than yours, so you are going with me Ashy boy," says Gary as they walk towards the room.
"Yeah, I guess it will help me pass some time before my training" replies ash in a sad tone.
"Don't worry you'll get to play soccer soon Ashy boy" Says Gary as they exit from their room.
Some Other part of Kalos High
"You sure are in hurry for something," Serena says to Dawn as they entered the school gate.
"Tomorrow is the next match with Kanto High so I am excited to see Paul practicing" Replied dawn while jumping & squealing.
"Like you haven't seen him before while training?" Asked Serena.
"It's not like that, some things are like you never get enough of it" replies Dawn while fawning.
"I am not really interested in any of that" replies Serena as she moves his face away.
"Yeah, yeah! I know about you setting a standard for yourself that how you'll date a guy who'll captain both soccer & basketball team," says Dawn as she smirks.
"Well, that was something I wanted to" replied Serena.
"Then what changed your mind all of a sudden when you started dating Calem?" Asks Dawn to Serena while they arrive at the soccer ground.
"I realized this is something unreal & some things aren't meant to be beside Calem is really good at what he does," said Serena to Dawn as they watch over for anyone while arriving at the spectator area.
"Yeah, I understand how you feel. Serena isn't he Brendan from the Basketball team?" Asks Dawn as she motioned over the seating area where he was seated
Serena saw where Dawn had pointed & then her gaze shifts to Brendan who was sitting & then a smirk make his way over her face "Yeah, It's him, let's go to him" Said Serena while motioning to Dawn to move.
"Hi Brendan," said Serena as she & Dawn walks over to Brendan who was lost in his thoughts & didn't respond.
"Hey Brendan," says Dawn while waving her hands in front of Brendan's face making him break from his trance while Serena giggled
"Oh hello, Serena & Dawn. Sorry I was just thinking about something" said Brendan as he laughs sheepishly.
"Brendan what was you thinking?" Asked Serena as she smirks.
"Well... I was umm thinking about yeah tomorrow's match" says Brendan as he sighed "well what are you two doing here? Cheering for your boyfriend's?" Asked Brendan as he smirks back.
"I am actually but Serena is here to accompany me & we saw you sitting here alone so decided to give you some company," said Dawn smiling.
"Well thank you & please sit, I was also getting bored as my practice session starts after some time & I had some time to kill so, I came here," said Brendan as he shifted his gaze back to the ground.
In somewhere near the stadium ground
"I am going towards the spectator's area Gary & you can see me from the ground," says ash as he & Gary was walking towards the practice ground.
"Oh shit! Ashy boy I forgot my Cell phone in the room you go to the spectator's area I will see you" said Gary as he started running toward his dorm.
"Stupid Gary, he knows he can't play while holding the phone but still" mumbled Ash to himself as he moved to the spectator's area.
As he entered the spectator's area he saw 3 persons sitting on the spectator's site whom he instantly recognized as Brendan, Dawn & Serena who had their back somehow to him.
As he started walking towards them he can't control but look at Serena's Honey Blonde Hair which was just flowing along in the wind current.
Flashback starts
He saw the back of running Serena towards her house after the forest fiasco as her hair was waving into the air & he was entranced by it.

Suddenly Ash was broken from his trance when he is hit on the back of his head & when he turns around only to see Gary laughing sheepishly
"What? You were so lost in your thoughts so I just helped you out" said Gary as he smirks "also I noticed what you were seeing and my support is with you Ashy boy" Explained Gary as he pats Ash on his back.
"Gary, I am going to kill you & what the hell are you doing here & not on the ground?" Asked Ash angrily & loudly due to which Brendan, Serena & Dawn heard it & walked over there.
"I was there so I can give my phone to you while I practice," said Gary defensively
"What's up with you guys?" Asked Brendan curiously.
"I was just here to see Gary practicing since I had nothing to do," said Ash as he meets gaze with all of them.
"Hey guys, wassup?" Asked Gary from the group.
"Nothing just watching the boys practicing" Answered Dawn & everyone nods in confirmation.
"Well, then I must go to the field, see you later everyone," Said Gary as he ran away.
"Thank God, he is gone" mumbled Ash as he moves towards the group.
"What was the commotion between you too?" Asked Serena curiously.
"Nothing, he was just annoying me, Brendan are you ready for the training later?" Asked ash as he shifted the topic.
"Yeah, I am excited, I am also working on the shot you pulled in that match & really it is not easy," says Brendan.
"I guess it was a lucky shot," said Ash
"I don't think so at least after the way you humiliated Tierno yesterday," said Brendan
"Thank you, Ash, for standing up for me and I can't believe that I don't have to deal with him anymore," said Serena
"You're my friend, Serena and I did nothing special it was an opportunity I grabbed with both hands," said Ash to which everyone nodded and smiled
"I am surprised why you aren't going for captaincy," said Brendan
"Because everything needs to be done at the right time and right now it's just the start for everything," said Ash to which Brendan nodded and Serena & Dawn gave him confused looks
"What that meant?" asked Dawn
"Dawn, I am just going with the flow right now and besides I need to get accustomed with everyone & everything first," said Ash to which she nodded
At the practice ground
"Wassup guys," asked Gary as he entered the practice area.
"Nothing, we're just planning a practice game but we're one player short to even things up," said Paul to which everyone nods
"Well that's a shame," says Gary as his suddenly his eyes suddenly lit up in realization "Guys I know someone who'll help us" listening to this everyone's face lit up.
"Gary but we are on the school team and the last thing we want is to play underdogs with us," says Calem to which everyone nods.
"Don't worry about it, Calem, it's you vs me, you can select whichever player you want & then leave the others for me" says Gary to which everyone gets surprised.
"You sure want to lose, you know you can't win all alone," says Paul to which Gary smirks.
"Want to bet?" Gary asked to which everyone gets confused.
"You are losing your mind, Gary, for god's sake, but sure then it's a bet," Calem said evilly.
"Winner gets Captaincy for tomorrow," said Gary to which Calem nods.
"Okay, you decide your team meanwhile I arrange things," said Gary as he runs away.
"Ashy boy you just have to show some skills & I will be the captain," thought Gary while smirking
