"Well, we're here." Marie sighed, almost too tired to press on. That night, after Lola's death, Marie herself was taking Lola to her final resting place. Percy was there too, keeping Marie company as she had to do this difficult task. "I'm so sorry..." Marie murmured. After the battle of Marie vs. PLAYER, Marie couldn't help but feel her sins crawling on her back, as she killed an innocent girl in the process of bringing justice to another. After burying Lola's body under a willow tree, Marie took a beautiful marble stone, and chiseled it with a tiny Gaster Blaster. 'Lola. Remembered by the ones who brought her justice.' Undyne insisted on the last part, as it was true. "Hey, Marie?" Yeah?" "Check your SOUL? I keep on feeling something there." "Uhh...okay?" Marie did as she was asked, and immediately gasped at what she saw, and began to tremble in fear. LV 30. Marie's LV was already 3 before the battle, and, because PLAYER's LV was 27, it added up. Percy walked up and asked what was wrong, but then saw, and started to shake too. Even Sans was scared, his pupils dissapeared and he was shaking too. Tears began to run down Marie's cheeks, and Percy hugged Marie, and said, "Marie...I'm so...sorry..." She managed to gasp.
After they got home, Percy made sure Marie went to sleep. Marie was extremely exhausted, physically, mentally, and spiritually. After she finally fell asleep, Marie was having a nightmare. She saw Lola there, wrapped in a dark web, and looked at Marie with hollow black eyes. She was crying black tears, and she was gasping for air. Marie was frozen in fear, and was sobbing uncontrollably. Her vision went black, then Lola appeared before her, HATE leaking out of her eyes and mouth. Lola manipulated Marie's SOUL to her, then viciously asked her, "Why didn't you SAVE me? Why did you let me die?!" At those words, Marie snapped awake, and was screaming and crying. Percy rushed into her room, and ran to Marie. "WHAT'S WRONG?!" Percy shouted, extremely worried. Marie couldn't answer, sobbing too hard. Sans took control, and looked at Percy. "Heya. Name's Sans." Percy looked at Marie's eyes, which now had a black sclera and white pupils, and shouted in suprise. "I'm the guy who's watching over the kid." "You're the one who watches over Marie?" "Yeah, plus some. I'm just taking control until she calms down." "No, it's okay. I want to comfort her." "Oh, do you now?" Sans said with a smile and wink. "Oh shut up." Percy retorted, then Marie's eyes returned to normal. Marie begun to sob again, then Percy hugged her close. Marie gasped, and hugged back. Percy then drew back, and pulled Marie close to kiss her. Marie accepted it, then closed her eyes. Marie stopped kissing, then Percy stayed with her the rest of the night. The next morning, Marie woke up with Percy next to her. Seeing this, Marie began to blush immensely. Percy woke up, and Marie was flustered and freaking out. Percy was amused, and began to blush as well. Marie hid under the blanket, and said, "Don't mind me, I'm just taking a trip to Blanket Town!" Percy laughed, then pulled the cover off her. Percy pulled Marie in once more, and shared another kiss. Marie could hear Alphys being a total fangirl, as well as Frisk, Chara, and Asriel. Marie herself couldn't help but shriek happily inwardly. After Marie and Percy stopped kissing, Percy left the room so Marie could get changed. Marie did so, then left the room. Percy had already gotten dressed, and she and Marie walked outside, hand in hand. They were met by Misty, who kept giving them a smirk. Misty gestured for them to follow her, then let the duo to the backyard. There, in the center, was a picnic ready for everyone. Everyone sat down, and started eating. Marie got curious, and asked Aaron how he could eat without a mouth. "Simple." He replied, then had a forkful of food towards where his mouth would be. The food dissapeared without warning, and Marie yelped in suprise. Aaron and Misty had a good laugh, then a bug landed on Marie's nose. Tickling it, Marie let out a tiny sneeze. "You have godly powers, able to defeat a LV 27 entity, and you happen to have the cutest sneeze of all time?!" Percy exclaimed. "Yeah, so what?!" Marie huffed, then took a bite o T. This being the first time trying it, Marie's face cracked a smile, and she was enjoying it. After finishing her plate of SPAGOODLE, she heard Papyrus exclaim, "I DIDN'T KNOW YOU LIKED SPAGHETTI! IN THAT CASE, I SHALL MAKE SOME FOR YOU EVERY DAY!" Okay!/em Marie replied, not realizing she made a mistake. After everyone finished their food, Marie and Percy took a walk around the village Marie had saved from Darien, and were being greeted with friendly faces all around. After getting that exercise, they headed home to practice magic. Marie was practicing more powerful magic with her LV increased. She experimented with more powerful Gaster Blasters, and more to her style. The fangs were sharper, eyes were now brighter, and the 'snout' of the creature was longer. A Blaster here, a Blaster there, a Blaster essentially everywhere. After finishing the practice session, she went into the house, and was greeted by Percy. "Marie! I think we should-" Percy was cut off as a huge explosion was heard outside. "WHAT WAS THAT?!" Percy shrieked, then the pair ran outside, and found Marcus being strangled by Darien, and the explosion had been caused by Aaron's fire attack being deflected. Marie's vision went black and white for a moment, and looked at the villain's HP and LV. LV 56, HP 67934. Marie was filled with fury at the evil villain's actions. Her eyes blazed, and, side by side, Marie and Percy leaped into battle with newfound power and bravery, but Darien struck forward, and grabbed both of them in his tentacles.
