Chapter 16: Peerage Preparation

*Pant*

Arms are seen grabbing a night pole as Arlo looked behind him. Panting, he looked around and heard it. That monstrous inhuman roar.

*ROARRRR*

He continued to run past closed shops, past closed buildings, past his home. He kept on running. Not having enough stamina, he stopped and bent downwards breathing hard and fast. Trying to process what was happening, he saw a nearby bench.

'Just for a second.' Arlo groaned as he sat down. What the hell was chasing him. He remembered when this started. After he left a ramen place with Blyke, Remi, and Isen, he was on his way home when he took a detour to the nearby park to clear his head. He remembered looking at the fountain and the fountain was looking back? Then he heard it. That roar. The fountain exploded as what he had perceived to be a bird. But the roar, the roar made Arlo run. And up till now, the creature was chasing him.

Arlo grimaced, he stood up from the bench and glanced around. Sighing In relief, he believed he had lost the roaring water thing when he bulged his eyes in pain.

*Wham!*

Arlo was sent flying to a fountain. Quickly realizing he was back at the park, Arlo tried to stand up and run but the thing stood above him. He looked up and widened his eyes. It couldn't be. A dragon? No not just a dragon. A dragon made from water? 'A dragon? What the fuck?' Wincing in pain the dragon stared him down before diving at him.

Preparing for the worst, Arlo covered his forehead with his arms but all that hit him was a blast of water. He opened his eyes confused until he saw a huge puddle of water around him.

"Sorry about that." Arlo quickly looked around to find the owner the voice.

"W-Who...Who are you?!" Arlo cried out. Crawling around the fountain, he tried to hide, fearing they the dragon could talk.

"Boo!" A hooded person jumped from the top of the fountain landing in front of a screaming Arlo.

The hooded being calmly stared at him until Arlo seemingly calmed down, "Who are you?" He then remembered the dragon and that puddle, "What was that?"

Grinning, the being took off his good shocking Arlo.

"Y-You're...You're..." Arlo widened his eyes at who the being was.

"Tell me Arlo." The being grinned at the shocked teenager, "Do you believe in the supernatural?"

*At the Mountain Mansion*

It was currently Day 3 of training and everyone was improving. Kiba was getting faster and Koneko was getting stronger and was more smart in battle. Sumire was hit the worst but her improvement was exponential. Her boosts and power level increased so much because of Issei and it was only the third day.

"I can't let my fellow peerage mates outshine me!" exclaimed Akeno as she sent another lightning strike at a tree.

"Faster Akeno!" Marina shouted. The past day of their training, Marina was able to have Akeno be able to shoot quick blasts of lightning and increase her speed and reaction times. Now, she wanted to increase Akeno's spell arsenal as well as further develop her attacks. "Remember you're lightning! Strike like it!"

'Strike like my power.' Rias paid close attention at the two as she concentrated on herself. As of lately, she was training by listening in on what Marina was saying to Akeno. She knew that if she asked Marina to help, if she even says yes, she would only hinder her queens growth and so here she was, behind the two, practicing by herself.

"President, be careful!" Asia shouted as she went to heal her king. Rias tried to do what Akeno was doing and it only resulted in an explosion. The king became frustrated, not noticing Marina glance at her.

"Good Akeno!" shouted Marina who turned her eyes back at the queen. Akeno was able to create two lightning bolts from her usual one bolt with just one magic circle. It made the queen pant from exhaustion but she somehow managed to form a smile at her trainer. And it was perfect timing as a lunch break was soon called out. Everyone gathered around the front of the mansion for their break as sandwiches and beverages were seen. The trainees all dug in along with their trainers who all laughed at what they were hungrily doing.

"Uh Issei..." Raviel ushered his king. Issei nodded knowing what it was about.

"How's it going with Koneko?"

"Remember when I said she's hiding her power? She's hiding it really well. I don't think she's ever going to use it." Raviel calmly informed his king.

"But?" Issei raised his eyebrows.

"But it is giving a toll on her. She's more exhausted since she's trying to compress her power. The stronger she's getting, the more present her power becomes..." Raviel stared at the ground.

"I understand." Issei rubbed his chin in thought, "Just focus on training her in her physical abilities. I'll focus on her senjutsu." Raviel nodded before the two headed back to the groups.

"-And then Kiba screamed like a little girl when Alec surprised him!" laughed out Noct and the rest of the group at Kiba's expense.

"Hey what were you two talking about?" Marina asked Issei as he sat down next to her and Jane.

"Nothing." Issei grabbed his own sandwich before listening in on Noct embarrassing a blushed Kiba.

"I swear he peed himself!" Kiba shook his head in denial making everyone else laugh.

"Actually it's something." whispered Issei. Marina cocked her eyebrow in confusion.

"What do you mean?"

"Raviel told me that Koneko has a secret power that she's reluctant to use. Senjutsu." Issei continued to whisper before glancing at a poker faced Koneko.

"Wait Senjutsu?!" Marina widened her eyes, "Remember Kuroka and her story?"

"Yeah." Issei widened his eyes, "You don't mean...?" He glanced at Koneko who took a small bite of her sandwich.

"Yes. What if Koneko is Kuroka's sister Shirone. The trauma of what happened would explain why Koneko would refuse her power."

"But Kuroka said that Shirone, I mean Koneko, would definitely hate her for what happened."

"Doesn't hurt to try. Call Kuroka and tell her." Issei nodded agreeing with Marina. He grabbed his phone and dialed Kuroka's number before being pinched by Marina, "In private you idiot."

Issei nodded before walking away from the group, lying to them he had to call Azazel. He snuck around the mansion before calling Kuroka.

"Ohhhh Isseiiii!!!!" purred the cat at the end of the phone, "Is Marina boring you? You want me to come over?" Issei chuckled back at the horny cat, he heard the scolding from Vali, laughing as Kuroka was slapped by his mate.

"Ahaha, while I do miss you," Issei suddenly shifted his tone, "It's about your sister."

Kuroka herself also shifted her tone, "Did you find her?!"

"Yeah...she's with Rias Gremory." Issei continued before hearing some growls.

"If you say peerage I'm going to come over and destroy her right now." Kuroka growled. "Screw the Gremory, my precious sister will never be in a peerage!"

She practically screamed the last part making Issei wince in pain, "She's being taken care of really nice. She loves it in Rias' peerage. But I was wondering if you could come over and help?"

"Is she ok?!" Kuroka practically shrieked this sentence out forcing Issei to drop his phone.

"It's her senjutsu..." Issei picked up the phone responding back to the cat. "She's not using it. She's suppressing it and it's affecting her negatively."

"It's all my fault." Kuroka sadly said, "If I only came back for her."

"It's not your fault. You saved her from that monster of a master. She's living a good life right now." Issei reassured Kuroka.

"I'll come over right now. Can-Can you make sure we can talk properly? I want to apologize and tell her the full story." Kuroka practically begged Issei.

"Of course. See you soon." Issei ended the call sighing in relief thinking that one problem was fixed before sighing again. How was he going to set the meeting?

"Is what you said true?" quietly asked Koneko. She jumped from the tree branch that she was on.

Issei jumped in surprise, "Koneko?!"

"Is what my sister said true?!" Koneko asked more ferociously as tears began to swell up in her eye, "Did she really save me?"

Issei nodded, "She did. You're former master was going to experiment on you so Kuroka killed him."

Tears began to pour out of the rook, "She left me..."

"She tried to come back for you after she took out those chasing her but you were gone." Issei explained. He stepped forward and hugged the crying rook, "Your sister loves you. She's coming here to help you."

Koneko cried her tears in Issei's shirt, "Is it because of senjutsu? I can't. I don't want to go crazy."

"You can Koneko. It doesn't drive you crazy." Issei separates from Koneko, he almost thought he heard a small purr, he tossed that thought away, "Sure Kuroka is crazy sometimes but it's because that's her personality. Senjutsu is safe is you have the right teacher."

"I'll forgive you for that." said a sultry voice as Kuroka appeared from a magic circle. She widened her eyes as tears of her own began to pour. She slowly stepped forward, "Sh-Shirone?" She didn't expect her sister to be standing in front of her mate.

Koneko widened her eyes at the sight of her sister, someone she hasn't seen for years. Issei looked at her encouragingly as he backed off of her. Koneko stood staring at her approaching sister. Kuroka stopped right in front of Koneko before she rushed in for the hug.

The two sisters hugged each other. Tears were seen dropping from both of their eyes as they hugged and held each other, not wanting to let the other go. Issei smiled at the sight of the two sisters reconciling.

'Well done.' said Nebula.

'There you are!' Issei thought happily. 'You went absent on me yesterday and the morning today!"

'Yeah, I'm not going to speak with you training the holder of Ddraig.'

Issei suddenly blew his eyes open. Right in front of him, seemingly Kuroka and Koneko both unleashed their ears and tails as they purred at each other. Kuroka looked at Issei hungrily and lustfully.

"I want to claim you so bad right now." Kuroka purred and licked her lips seductively at a nervously chuckling Issei.

"Sister!" Koneko shouted in an annoyed tone.

Kuroka at first looked surprised at her sister before again looking at Koneko and then back at Issei before smiling, "I approve!"

"What?" Issei asked confused at what the sisters just did.

'Oh dear, Koneko is super cute and adorable with those ears and tail." commented Obi-wan.

'You furry...' Anakin stared disappointed at Obi-wan.

'Hey, it's not my fault both like him.' Obi-wan spoke back at Anakin

'What?!'

'He's clueless...' sighed Anakin.

"I'll learn senjutsu...' Koneko slowly whispered making Kuroka practically glow in happiness.

"Shirone..."

"It's Koneko." Koneko firmly stated which Kuroka smiled at.

"Koneko, that makes me so happy." Kuroka hugged her sister, "I'm sorry for leaving you. If I could change what happened, I would've taken you with me."

"It's ok...I forgive you." Kuroka only seemed to glow even more as her sister forgave her for what happened in their lives.

Issei had to admit though, Obi-wan was right, Koneko was adorable with her cat ears and tail.

"Issei, can we go back now?" asked Koneko who still had her youkai features out.

It screamed CUTE CUTE CUTE at Issei who slowly nodded. He didn't even notice that Koneko was holding one of his hands and Kuroka compressing the other with her boobs. The three went back to the group where everyone was wondering where Koneko and Issei were. Noct saw the three first before whistling.

"Issei leaves with one. Comes back with two." Noct grinned and winked at Issei who rolled his eyes in response.

Marina saw the three and didn't even get mad, she only smiled at how Kuroka and Koneko were back together as siblings. She had a frown, she thought of her own older brother, 'Tiral where are you? I miss you...'

Rias had another thought, "Kuroka!!" Everyone in her peerage raised their weapons at the stray devil.

Issei told them to relax and slowly explained the story behind the two cats. Rias and her peerage widened at the story and brought their weapons down. They glanced at Kuroka before Rias stepped forward and apologized to Kuroka.

"What's this? The prideful Gremory apologizing?" Kuroka grinned accepting the apology.

"Let's say someone inspired me." Rias smiled glancing at an unknowing but frowning Marina. "Why are you here anyways?"

"I'm going to teach my dear Shirone senjutsu~~" Kuroka practically oozed excitement.

"Koneko." Koneko seethed through her teeth.

"But doesn't-" Rias started, being told that senjutsu made one crazy.

"It doesn't."

"You sure?"

"Yes."

The groups eventually got back to what they were doing before the break was over. Everyone split off except for Marina who ushered Akeno to go back to their spot, Issei, and Kuroka who promised to be right behind her sister.

"You have to catch me up on what happened. Where's Tiral and Levyna?" Kuroka curiously asked Issei.

"About that..." Issei grimaced before telling Kuroka what happened. Kuroka grew shocked and surprised as she looked at the frowning Marina. She quickly realized that her and Koneko reconciling gave Marina a realization of her brother.

"I'm sorry!" Kuroka hugged the sad Marina who appreciated it.

"Thank you Kuroka. But we will find him. We will find my brother and Levyna." Marina shouted with determination.

"That's a promise." Issei agreed as the three stood up, "I'll see you guys at the end of today." The other two nodded before they all left to their devices. Marina to Akeno, Issei to Sumire, and Kuroka to Koneko.

*Day Five*

Kiba was panting as he was going through the speed training since Day 1. Granted he did get faster and had faster reflexes but the work he put in was extraordinary big. Noct appeared before him grinning and telling him that he didn't have to run as much anymore. Kiba sighed in relief.

"But we're focusing on your sacred gear Sword Birth, from what you told me you can summon any sword at a certain distance?" asked Noct. Jane and Alec suddenly appeared next to him as they also tuned in to the knight.

"Well yeah, how are you going to help me?"

"You can summon multiple swords right and these swords can have infinite purposes right?" continued Noct.

"Well I guess yea." Kiba responded still not knowing what he was to do.

"Well can you maybe summon a shield or barrier with swords? Like create multiple swords that are as sturdy and indestructible as possible?" Kiba widened his eyes at this.

"You're asking him to use a mainly offensively sacred gear and using it for defense?" Alec raised his eyebrow before shrugging his shoulders, "Smart."

"The best defense is the best offense Alec" Noct shrugged his own shoulders while Alec grunted as he summoned his scythe in anticipation.

"Yeah I can try." Kiba nodded making Noct grin.

"Perfect, since Sword Birth is dependent on your imagination and how you can use the swords for multiple purposes, we'll have you attack and defend against us so you can think creatively with your gear and not just one sided." Noct explained as he and the vampires readied themselves, "Of course, we'll be light on you."

Kiba braced himself and told himself how Noct was right, his gear was dependent on how he could imagine and use his swords not just for offense and striking but defensively and blocking. He nodded before summoning his swords as he engaged his trainers.

*With Akeno*

Marina was seemingly out of it which Akeno noticed for the past day and today. When she was being trained by Marina, she barely even looked over her and what was worse was how she barely gave any tips resulting in Akeno doing the same moves with little improvement.

"Marina, are you okay?" Akeno asked after Marina again didn't critique her lightning strike even though she purposely didn't put her all in it.

Marina quickly looked back at Akeno and smiled, "Y-Yeah!" But she wasn't and Akeno knew it. The dark circles beneath her eyes and her eyes themself. It was one of loss and loneliness, one she knew very well herself.

"Seriously, nothings wrong with me." Marina chuckled as she faltered her smile for a split second.

"I know a look of loss. I've lost my only loved one too." Akeno quietly said which Marina widened her eyes.

"Want to talk about it?" She asked.

"Only if you tell me what's going on with you." responded Akeno.

Marina laughed quietly as she started off into the sky, "You know Tiral? That hunky laughing man child?" She giggled to herself, "I just want to know where he is. I just miss him." She looked away from Akeno as tears had fallen from her eyes.

Akeno widened her eyes in realization, 'Of course!' This happened ever since Koneko and Kuroka got back together as siblings. It must've teared Marina as she saw what she wanted to have with her brother Tiral. The two nekomatas everyday antics reminded her of her relationship with her older brother. Akeno understood why she was feeling what she was feeling and related with her.

"I lost my mother at a young age." Akeno quietly said. "It was quick but gruesome." Tears of her own began to threateningly fall down. Marina turned back and wrapped her own arms around Akeno.

"I'm sorry. I shouldn't be feeling this way when you lost something permanently..." Marina softly said as she hugged the teary Akeno.

"Thank you Marina." mouthed the queen as her words were replaced by her tears as both girls quietly tears out their losses.

*With Sumire*

Issei was disappointed at her. She felt it. Even though she was increasing her available boosts slowly but still improving the amount she could hold, Issei still had that disappointed look in his eyes.

"Tell me Sumire. What keeps you going?" suddenly asked Issei which surprised the hell out of Sumire.

"What?"

[Your sacred gear responds to emotions. Maybe by thinking of your purpose can unlock balance breaker.] Ddraig told her mentally.

"My friends. My family. Beating the fuck out of Riser." Sumire exclaimed with fists held high as she continued to boost.

Issei smiled making her heart flutter, "Good answer."

*With Koneko*

"Remember Shirone, senjutsu is basically an extension of your inner ki, aura, and chakra!" Kuroka told her sister who was panting in her nekomata form.

"It's Koneko!" Koneko shouted before sending a ki blast blasting a poor tree into pieces.

"You have a natural talent Shironeeeee~~" squealed Kuroka.

"Why am I needed here?" quietly asked a nervously chuckling Raviel. He was scared of Kuroka. A black cat. He shuddered to himself. That scary look on Kuroka's face everytime something bad happened. He gulped as he remembered a time when Bikou kept on annoying Kuroka. The result was a running Bikou and a scary ass Kuroka that severely gave Raviel some PTSD. He shuddered again at the memory.

"Well you're here because Issei wants to train your rook powers and your sacred gear and improve you." Kuroka smiled sweetly at the young room.

Misinterpreting the look, a scared Raviel shot up and began to hit the trees. The two sisters glanced at each other in confusion.

"I think he's scared of you sister." Koneko said looking at the young rook punching the trees wildly.

"Oh dear." Kuroka placed a finger on her lip in contemplation.

Raviel was punching the trees in front of him as Kuroka's face appeared in his mind, "TOO SCARY!!!"

"Yup he is." Koneko blandly said making Kuroka chuckle for a bit.

*With John*

John focused on his punches as he heaved a fist right before sidestepping and launching himself at Seraphina. Seraphina stepped back making John go off balance before elbowing his chest. John staggers before grasping Seraphina's arm and tossing her to the ground.

"Both of your physical strengths are increasing well." Tiamat approved before ushering the two pawns in front of her, "Though I'm not as good at sacred gear or power training as Azazel is, I'll try my best with you two."

Both pawns nodded in excitement finally able to show off their true power.

"Seraphina, Issei and Azazel told me that you can stop time from occurring in an area." Tiamat started, "Try and stop that tasty looking bird." Tiamat pointed at the flying animal.

Seraphina was surprised, "Um how do I do that?"

"Try and focus on the bird." John said making Tiamat nod.

"Focus on the bird and focus on what your power is. Imagine stopping that bird in time." Tiamat further explained.

Seraphina nodded before aiming her hand at the flying bird and concentrated. Nothing happened so far. Sweat was beginning to form as Seraphina looked concentrated at the bird. The bird suddenly stopped flying and chirping for a split second before continuing its previous actions. Seraphina puffed as she inhaled some air.

"It's a start." Tiamat congratulated the pawn, "Now John try and copy her power."

'That power is strong. I like it.' gleefully said the being in John's head.

'You like it?' John felt Seraphina's power come into him as he breathed in. Over these few days, he began to have conversations with the said being. Seeing the bird, he concentrated and easily stopped the bird from moving. Then getting an idea, he lifted his other hand and stopped another group of birds that were perked up in a tree branch. He let out a breath before letting them both go.

"Nice. Since your sacred gear is good at enhancing a power, you using it would be a great stepping stone for Seraphina." Tiamat nodded approvingly at her trainees.

Seraphina grinned at John who grinned back before both fist bumped each other.

*Day Seven*

Rias again was shadow training herself listening to what Marina was saying to Akeno.

"Use your speed and strike!" Akeno nodded before dashing and quickly blasting the target dummy with lightning making Marina grin. "Good! Take a small break."

Rias knew that a king wasn't as fast a queen so she focused on attacking quickly while summoning her power as quickly as possible. Marina taught Akeno how to harness her lightning quickly but with no power reduction. Rias herself managed to up her cast speed but the power of her P.oD. was a tad weak. She swung the spheres of destruction. Yes spheres, again through shadow training and listening to Marina, she was able to like Akeno shoot multiple lightning bolts or P.o.D spheres for her. The spheres launched forward hitting the tree only for them to bounce off harmlessly. Screw a tad weak, it was too weak. Rias grumbled in frustration wiping off some sweat before preparing again.

"You know why it's so weak? You're not focusing enough. You're only concentrated on summoning and not on the sphere itself." Marina quickly shot behind Rias whispering her pointers to the surprised Rias.

"Marina!" Rias quickly exclaimed in shock before bowing her head in shame, "Thanks..."

"Seriously, we have one argument and you don't even have the balls to come up to me for help. Do you think I don't want to train you," Marina rolled her eyes at the king as Akeno soon jogged up to her king.

"You did say you didn't want to train me." Rias quietly said.

"I may not like you but I don't hate you enough to have you end up with Riser." Marina said amused.

"Wellll...you did say I be-" Rias started

"Whatever." Marina rolled her eyes.

"But hey..." Marina raised her eyes at Rias' sudden mood shift, "Thanks for you know doing what you did. I didn't really get to thank you..."

Marina turned her head away from the king and queen but a smile was seen spread across her face, "No problem...Rias."

"Finally training with us?" Akeno hoped, standing next to her king and sipping some water.

"Yeah sure why not." Marina whipped her head back, "Breaks over Akeno. Asia heal her up." Asia humbly nodded before healing Akeno and Rias. Asia herself improved because of Marina. She could now heal multiple people at once which was awesome for the Gremory peerage.

"Us?" Rias widened her eyes at the statement.

"Yeah don't get it over your head. You guys do have to beat Riser." Marina smirked before floating away from the two, "Now let's do this my trainees." The three nodded and Rias looked incredibly ecstatic and eager at being trained by Marina.

*With Kiba*

Kiba quickly summoned a light sword to repel Noct's attack. However he couldn't summon a second sword to repel the fast Alec.

"Well your quick thinking is getting better. I'll give you that. But reflexes and improving your use of Sword Birth is much to be attended to." Noct said as he swung his scythe into shadows dissolving it.

"I can summon two swords in quick succession though." Kiba demonstrated summoning two different swords of ice and fire.

Noct's eyes brightened up, "But that's the problem." He pointed at the two swords, "The swords that you summon quickly are either the same or are the exact opposites. There are no specifics to the swords. And when you fight you become less concentrated making you less able to summon what you want. So we will fix that."

"How so?" Kiba asked.

"Remember think creatively and quickly when you use your gear. The one thing you have over us is your imagination. Let it run through you when you fight." Noct explained before he himself summoned his scythe swinging it and sending multiple shadow Abe's and blasts at the sky. "Imagine yourself as the gear? Remember your imagination is only limited by you so your gear's full potential is dependent on you Kiba." Noct retracted his scythe at the nodding Kiba.

Kiba closed his eyes before swiping his arms summing a large sword that also acted as a barrier of sorts. Suddenly the sword was broken down into shards before being unleashed. Noct clapped his hands at what Kiba did.

"Like that?" Kiba panted. Him doing what he did was more tiring then he thought.

"Like that."

The vampires and Noct continued to train with Kiba as he became more comfortable with using his imagination while sparring. Soon the sun was going down and Kiba was able to summon multiple swords quickly in succession and consecutively. These multiple swords were all specific and were based on what Noct asked for him to summon. While it does seem easy to do, considering how Kiba summoned random swords and could only summon one specific sword at a time, it was a massive improvement to the knight as it was a stepping stone in him mastering summoning what swords he wanted. As the sun went down, the four rushed into the mansion for a quick break before dinner.

The two peerages enjoyed their dinner and it was relatively normal as people were joking and new bonds were being forged and reforged. After it was over, before the two peerages split off to spend their nights, Issei pulled Rias over. Everyone was confused as well as Rias before a few minutes later, she came back with Issei and quickly glanced at Sumire for some reason. Afterwards everyone went back to what they were doing and most of the people forgot what happened...except for Marina who was confused as to what Issei had to discuss with Rias alone. She got even more confused when the moment Sumire told everyone she was to sleep, Issei and Rias gathered everyone else. But soon enough, she and everyone else except for Sumire understood what was needed as they all began to walk off. Marina was particularly with Issei as their rooms were next to each other.

"Are you sure?" asked a worried Marina.

"Yes. This will either make it or break it." Issei responded before the two went into their rooms.

*Day Eight*

'Where is everyone?' wondered Sumire as she went in front of the mansion where everyone usually was.

[Maybe Issei and Nebula are briefing everyone? There are only two days left.]

'Really Nebula?' Sumire rolled her eyes as she looked around the mansion and walking around it to find anyone but to no avail.

[Me and the White One fought to show who was stronger. We both had a massive crush on her.]

'Jeez. Really? And how did that help you guys?' Sumire sarcastically asked while mid search. She peered across the corner to see no one again.

[It didn't. She ended up mating with a weak dragon named Nova. And how dare he give her two offspring. They should've been mine! But now I have you. Make sure you show the White One who deserves Nebula and her host!]

'What?!' Sumire stopped in disbelief.

[What? It's your duty as the Red Dragon Emperor. And Sumire, you can't lie that your heart beats-]

'Ok! Ok! Let's find everyone else first Ddraig.' Sumire had a tiny blush on her face as Ddraig grunted.

[You really can't feel their auras centered at the front of the mansion?]

'What? Impossible, I was just at the front!' Sumire who was at the back of mansion groaned before running back around the mansion to the front where everyone was. But what surprised her was the seemingly luggage bags at Issei and his peerage's feet.

"Hey Sumire!" Issei yelled out signaling for her to come over which she did with a confused face.

"What's going on? Why are there luggage bags at your feet? Aren't we training?" Sumire glanced at her own peerage and saw their gloomy expressions. Ddraig was about to tell her something when Issei suddenly placed his hand on her shoulder and giving a look at Sumire which made Ddraig shut up.

"Sumire." Issei sighed, "We're leaving."

"Wait what? But trainings not even done! We still have a couple of days! What do you mean your leaving?" Sumire grew more confused.

"Issei's right, they have to leave. It was ordered." Rias seethed through her teeth. She hated lying to her pawn but what Issei said was true and if she had to lie so be it.

"By who? And you!" Sumire suddenly pointed at Issei, "You promised to help us! Without these final days of training we might lose to Riser!"

"Yeah we know but we have to leave. This is your affairs. We have no business in this." Issei growled coldly shrugging Sumire's finger off of him.

"Don't even touch him." Marina herself growled at the pawn.

"Shut the fuck up." Sumire shoved Marina out of the way. "This is Rias' life you're fucking up Issei!"

"I know." Issei again glared at the angry pawn.

"Sumire. We have to train ourselves now. Come on-" Rias tried to pull Sumire close to her but she was emitting an aura that stopped her.

"It's not our business to attend to devil affairs. I've risked enough as a neutral force to further help. If I continue to help my title might be withdrawn." Issei coldly explained to the heated and angry Sumire. He began to order his peerage to pick up their bags when he felt some power.

"All for a title? What the fuck?!" Sumire suddenly shouted in anger.

Issei glanced at Rias and she nodded telling her peerage to back off. Each member looked worriedly at their pawn but nonetheless backed off.

"I don't fucking care about your title. Rias is about to lose to a fucking pig and be used as a sex toy against her fucking will!" Sumire yelled in anger. Her gear began to form on her arm.

[Boost!]

"I can't fucking believe you would be this fucking selfish!" Sumire was glowing in a red glow as more energy was being emitted from her.

"Deal with it. This isn't some world where you get what you want."

"Deal with it? Oh I will fucking deal with it. AFTER I DEAL WITH YOUR SORRY ASS!" Sumire yelled.

[Boosted Gear! SCALE MAIL!]

Sumire was encased in an incomplete balance breaker, red armor encasing her entire body which looked like a red but toned down version of Issei's balance breaker. She growled in anger as the green jewels that covered her eyes shined.

"ISSEI HYOUDOU!" Sumire took off and prepared a punch at Issei.

Issei looked prepared as he summoned his own gear.

{Galaxy's End!}

Sumire growled even more as more energy began to build up as she punched Issei who blocked it with his spear.

[Boost!]

With the extra energy boost, she pressed on with her attack all the while glaring at the king through her armor.

{Gravity!}

"W-what?" Sumire groaned as her energy was taken from her. All the energy emitted from her scale mail was absorbed into Issei's spear as her armor dissolved and she began to wobble.

"Sumire!" Rias cried out along with her peerage as they ran to catch the fainting pawn. "Was it supposed to happen like this Issei?"

"No. But I can help." Issei stepped closer to Sumire who grew her eyes wide open.

"Fuck y-!" Sumire suddenly widened her eyes as energy bursted through her. She realized it was Issei giving her back her energy as the spear was touching her abdomen, "W-why?"

"Sorry Sumire." Issei bowed as he apologized, "I did this to make you get some sort of your balance breaker in this case I guess Scale Mail which is an incomplete version of it."

"Heh, you got me." Sumire slowly stood up, "So you did this to get me this Scale Mail?" She shook her head as she rubbed her hands. She looked at Issei before kneeing him in the balls surprising everyone and enraging Marina.

"I...I probably...de-deserve...that." Issei groaned in pain as he fell down covering his private area and signaling Marina to stop in her tracks. Kiba, Noct, Raviel, and John all felt uncomfortable and it was shown as all four bent over in the slightest way.

"So you're still going to train us?" Sumire glanced at her nails as if nothing happened.

Issei said nothing except give a thumbs up.

"Did Rias go along with it?" Sumire glanced at her king and her peerage.

"S-sorry Sumire." Rias stumbled as she hugged her pawn.

"It's ok! You may have tricked me but I did get this sweet new power!" Sumire grinned, "Well let's get to training thennnn." Sumire stumbled before falling down in exhaustion.

"Using Scale Mail as sudden as you did took all your energy. Even though Issei gave it back, your body wasn't able to properly harness it so yea." Marina explained as she caught the falling Sumire, "Let's bring her in before starting training?"

Everyone nodded as they went back into the mansion to help Sumire leaving Issei all alone on the ground.

"Someone wanna help?" Issei shouted still in pain. He was in the doggy position and clutching his balls in pain.

'You're embarrassing me Issei.' sighed Nebula.

Issei responded with another groan as he turned over back-first in pain.

*Day Ten*

To say the previous day was full of events was an understatement. After Issei recovered which he did..after an hour, he looked over everyone until Sumire woke up. Letting her take a small break until she was ready to train, he continued to give out pointers and tips to everyone being trained. When Sumire was ready, Issei explained what Scale Mail was and how to use it. With Ddraig's help, Issei was told that Sumire could only hold it for five minutes max which was incredibly low to Issei. He planned on training her as long and as hard as possible to bring it up to at least and hopefully fifteen minutes. They only got to nine minutes but it was something. After the training yesterday, he told everyone that Day Ten was sort of a test where the trained face off against their trainers to show off what they learned. And for Day Nine, it would be sort of a relaxation day. And after the relaxing day is where this begins, with Kiba starting off against his three trainers.

Kiba quickly summoned a wall of shields in front of him to block Noct's shadow blasts. He separated the wall into separate swords as he sent one after the other at his three trainers. They all evaded and Alec rushed to his side planning on knocking him down. Kiba used his knight speed and dived the attack before summoning a flame sword temporarily stopping the vampire.

"Boo!" Noct surprised the knight as he slashed forward only for the attack to get sucked by Kiba's second sword which was by his side. "Better but remember." Noct shadowstepped next to Kiba, "You can't drain what is unlimited!"

"I know." Kiba swung the shadow sword sending a shadow wave that countered Noct's own attack.

"You're getting much better." Noct commented while grinning. Kiba grinned in response.

"Thanks." Kiba concentrated on Noct who began to tsk his tongue.

"Number one rule in fighting, don't get distracted!" Noct disappeared into the shadows making Kiba widen his eyes. However it wasn't because of Noct but because of Alec who snuck up while he was distracted.

Kiba turned around to strike at the vampire only to see how he was missing only to get hit by Noct.

"Dammit." Kiba stabbed his sword at the ground as Alec and Noct again launched themselves at him. Waiting till the last second he yelled before gripping the sword summoning spikes of swords shooting upwards at the two. Noct quickly shadowstepped way and Alec used his vampiric speed and dodged them all. Seeing that he was clear from the two he began to stand up before instantly falling down in pain. And there the third trainer was, a few feet across from him.

"Don't forget who and how many you're fighting." Noct reminded.

Kiba gritted his teeth in slight pain, he knew Jane turned down her pain as low as possible and he grimaced before he suddenly had an idea. With a free hand, he gripped the sword that was on the ground and summoned a reflective sword blocking Jane's vision of him making her power temporarily not work on him.

"Decent. Great improvement Kiba. From the days before until now the change is immense. Be proud so far." Noct grinned before all three helped the tired Knight up.

"Thanks. I feel it too. Thank you." Kiba bowed at the three trainers who all grinned in excitement at Kiba.

"Now don't disappoint us tomorrow." grinned Alec.

"Agreed." Jane smiled at the knight.

"Nice job Kiba! Now Koneko, Raviel, and Kuroka!" Issei congratulates the knight before having the next three walk up to the training field.

"Why meee?" purred Kuroka as she wrapped her breasts around Issei's arm.

"Well uh because uh." Issei stuttered making the cat lustfully grin and lick Issei's face.

"Kuroka go! You trained your sister so you have to be there!" yelled Marina who preyed Kuroka off of Issei. Everyone seemingly giggled at this with Koneko pouting and annoyed.

"Fine fineeee." Kuroka whined before winking at Issei and walking next to Raviel. Issei clearly noticed her swaying hips but he shook his head clearing it of all the thoughts of him doin- He coughed.

"Ready whenever you are Shirone~"

"It's KONEKO!" Koneko launched herself at her sister only to get stopped by Raviel in his semi-monster form which surprised everyone not used to him.

"He has forms?" whispered Rias.

"Yeah, his gear makes him transform into the legendary Doomsday monster." explained Issei.

"Oh cool."

Raviel in his training form launched himself at Koneko. Koneko using her smaller form dodged around the semi-monster sending small ki blasts which annoyed Raviel.

"Nice." He complimented making Koneko nod in appreciation, "But like Kiba, don't get distracted!" He was to slap Koneko with his huge wrists when Koneko suddenly popped her nekomata look and blasted down sending her up and dodging the strike. She glanced down at the rook only to get hit by Kuroka.

"Oh sister did you forget about me?" Kuroka purred as she sent more chakra shots at Koneko. Koneko responded with her own senjutsu blasts which were relatively weaker but both of her trainers weren't at full power which explained how her blasts were able to counter Kuroka.

She suddenly was hit by Raviel sending to the trees but she twisted her body and used the trees to help her speed up and punch Raviel making him stagger. Taking the opportunity she was about to send blasts at him only to sense balls of energy come at her. She tsked her tongue before nimbly flipping and sending some wisps of energy at her sister. Suddenly she felt Raviel behind him making her fall down on the ground and jumping right back up kicking him in the face. She quickly turned around and sent some ki blasts at her sister who dodged and quickly moved in front of her.

"Not bad Shirone~~" grinned Kuroka before unleashing her aura making Koneko fall down. Raviel loomed over her as he prepared to end the test.

"I'm not done!" She shouted twirling her body clockwise in the ground and sending an array of energy balls, blasts, and wisps blasting Raviel away while at the same time using her smaller body to get closer to her sister. "Take this!"

"I'm proud." Kuroka grinned as she saw the fist of energy come at her, "Real proud." She said before disappearing and appearing behind her, "But I haven't taught you everything yet."

"Nice Koneko! You're much different then you were ten days ago! You're more nimble, more tactically smart and stronger!" Issei congratulated the small room as Raviel grinned at Koneko.

"That was fun!" Koneko herself gave a small smile at Raviel's energy.

"Alright, Marina your turn." Issei states which made Marina nod and turn to Rias and Akeno. Issei told Asia to stay behind as her healing would be too helpful.

Marina stood away front the King and Queen. She waited for the right moment before flying and sending quick wind strikes at the two. Akeno dodged before sending quick shocks of lightning at Marina. Rias also dodged and quickly summoned some power of destruction to aid Akeno.

Marina grinned before flying to the sides dodging both attacks. She swiped both of them off of their feet . Akeno quickly reacted as when she was falling down, she sent a quick bolt of lightning at Marina who used the wind to blow the attack away.

"Not bad. Cast time and spell speed has really improved." She quickly flew downwards to dodge Rias' blasts.

Marina then sidestepped a lightning strike from Akeno who kept the barrage going but Marina using her swiftness dodged and dodged every strike before sending a gush of wind at Akeno making her fall off balance. Rias let loose a huge sphere at Marina who responded by using the wind to push it back. The two were at a standstill before Marina pushed the attack to the forest next to them. Akeno recovered before sending jabs of lightning sending Marina a few feet back.

"We should end this now." Akeno glanced at her king waiting for her plan.

"How?"

"You send the biggest lightning strikes from the sky and I'll surround her with my power. It should work." Rias explained which Akeno nodded and flew up. Rias breathed deep before summoning multiple balls of destruction.

"Are we really ending this that fast?" Marina grinned as she waited for the attack.

Akeno and Rias glanced at each other before unleashing their attacks. Akeno sent down huge bolts of lightning above at Marina while Rias used the balls she summoned to surround Marina. This effectively trapped the bishop who only grinned as the attacks connected with her.

*BOOM!*

The King and Queen stood next to each other panting as they glanced at where Marina was. They heard calling as Marina slowly stepped out from the rubble.

"Well done. I've trained you two well it seems. Great improvement." Marina grinned at the two who grinned back as they walked over to Issei.

Issei glanced at Sumire, "I'm not going to test you. If I make you use the Scale Mail today, you might not be able to use it tomorrow. That goes for the rest of you guys. You've all done well! Take the day off to recover and to do whatever you want. You all deserve it."

"While we recover, can we see some sparring from your peerage? That way we can rest and learn?" suggested Rias which made her own peerage nod and Issei's peerage look at Issei.

"You mean a show?" Rias nervously chuckled as Issei himself chuckled, "Sure. Who wants to spar?"

"Me! I gotta beat you man." grinned Noct.

"Fine but no {Cosmic Ascension}." Issei himself grinned before the two walked into the field dhwere everyone fought.

"Yeah that shits too op." The two partners laughed as they summoned their sacred gears.

Rias and her peerage looked at Marina for clarity who sighed and explained the mode to them.

Issei and Noct stared in silence at each other before Issei nodded and both started to charge at each other while summoning their balance breakers. Rias and her peerage were again mesmerized by Issei's armor especially Sumire who looked motivated at it.

'One day I will have it.'

Noct swung his scythe and shadowstepped constantly to hopefully find an opening. The in and out stepping was really fast but Issei was faster as he blocked every one of Noct's strikes.

"Shadow's End!" Noct stepped behind Issei before swinging his enhanced scythe.

{Gravity!}

Issei absorbed the shadow energy from the scythe cancelling the bonus effect of Noct's attack.

{Infinite Cosmos: Shadow Wave!}

Issei sent a shadow wave at Noct who dodged it by shadowstepping right in front of Issei.

{Wormhole!}

Issei teleported above Noct who quickly looked around in confusion before suddenly looking up.

{Galactic Downfall!}

Noct knew that Issei's attack was strong so he quickly drew shadow energy from the nearby shadows enhancing his own defensive strike.

"Clever." Issei stood a few feet from Noct who grinned.

"Gotta be resourceful." He said before they launched at each other again.

While the two were sparring Rias widened her eyes in disbelief, "They're enjoying this?"

"Yup." Marina simply said.

Rias' peerage has different looks on the battle. Kiba looked in admiration at the speed both Issei and Noct were showing and knew that one day he would need to be that fast if not faster and that he needed to start training more. Koneko widened her eyes a little bit showing a little emotion at how precise, strong yet quick both of their attacks were. She knew that as a rook, if she was able to be fast and hit like them, Riser would not stand a chance tomorrow. Akeno looked and took in how Noct was fighting with his element. He moved and acted like the shadows, at one point she didn't even know where Noct was. She knew that for tomorrow's fight, she would have to be like them. Sumire was the one who took in the spar with the most commitment mainly Issei's fighting style. How he was able to use his gear to his advantage and not just that but his Balance Breaker. She knew that her achieving balance breaker would be a huge milestone for her and a major step in her supernatural life. And she couldn't wait.

The fight took much longer as the two were seemingly tied.

"Why are you holding back Issei?" Noct suddenly said making Issei grin underneath his helmet at the same time making Rias and her peerage widen their eyes in surprise that Issei wasn't even close to full power.

"Fine." Issei prepared himself and so did Noct before they charged for the last time in the spar.

"Shadow Assault!"

{Comet Hail!}

Noct and his shadow troops met the comet head on.

{Cosmic Burst!}

The comet burst into pure cosmic energy and light which blinded Noct and weakened his shadows due to the overflow of light.

{Supernova!}

Noct widened his eyes before quickly and randomly shadowstepping into his unknowing doom. Issei's supernova hit nothing but Issei took the opportunity of Noct's panicked misplacement.

{Wormhole!}

Issei teleported above Noct who felt it and sighed in defeat.

{Galactic Downfall!}

Issei strike down his spear next to Noct sending cosmic energy flying. Issei stood up and sent his spear away with Noct dissolved his scythe before the two appeared out of their balance breakers.

"Still can't beat you man." Noct whined.

"Get used to it buddy." Issei grinned before the two walked over to their audience.

"Amazing..." said Kiba.

"Such power." stared Koneko.

"That fight gave me such the feels~" Akeno closed her eyes and grinned. Issei didn't know how to interpret the statement shaking his head.

"I loved it." Sumire grinned at the show of power in the spar.

"Glad you did. Now let's relax ok?" Issei smiled at everyone who sighed as for the next few hours, they lived their lives in contempt doing whatever the hell they wanted.

Couple of hours later and the two peerages finished their dinner with Rias suggesting the groups to take however of a bath they wanted. Everyone cheered as they began to clean up.

"Say Issei~~" Kuroka purred into Issei's ears before biting it, "Shower with me?"

"What?!" Issei shouted in shock.

"Marina would loveeeee it if you showered with your mates. Jane too." Kuroka continued to purr.

"Vampires don't shower Kuroka." Issei blushed as Kuroka hugged his back smothering it with her breasts.

"I only shower with Issei." stated Jane.

"Hey hey! Issei only bathes with us!" Marina exclaimed as she laid her claim over Issei.

"Do I get a say?"

"HELL NO!!" Marina and Kuroka shouted with Jane just saying it with her normal voice which drew the attention of Rias and her peerage.

"He should take a bath with us too!" Rias yelled as her peerage appeared in front of Issei and his.

"Share him with us Marina." Akeno pouted was she sneakily walked up to Issei only to get bumped aside by a white haired girl with cat ears and a tail.

"Stupid." Koneko whispered blushing into Issei's abdomen.

"Even Koneko wants to bathe with him." Akeno smirked at Marina whose mouth opened in shock. Suddenly Asia blushed and was to embarrassed and left to her own personal shower which every room had. This left Sumire the only one undecided in Rias' peerage.

"Now what about Sumire?" Kuroka smirked as well as everyone stared at Sumire.

[YESSSSSS!] mentally screamed Ddraig.

{FUCK NO!} mentally screamed Nebula.

"I should get a say in this." Towards the end of the sentence, Issei nervously chuckled and zipped his mouth at the scary looking and glaring girls, "I said nothing, continue."

"I'll bathe with Issei." She blushed looking over to the side as Ddraig thanked her in her head.

"Bruh." Was all Issei said before he was forcefully dragged by the girls. Nebula was screaming in his head to not bathe with Sumire but it was too late. She didn't even want to stop the girls as she didn't want Ddraig to even hear her voice. How petty right? Issei struggled like any normal decent person but the glares made him stop as he sighed. The rest of the boys didn't help either.

"Have fun!" Noct grinned making Issei curse at his knight. Alec, Kiba, John, and Raviel only laughed at the exchange making Issei curse at them too. Seraphina looked and thought about joining before remembering all the rooms had private showers. Issei thanked her for all she was before he yelped and was stripped down and thrown into the waters. Of course he covered himself before bulging his eyes as all the girls stripped and showed their naked glory off at Issei.

'Opportunity of a lifetime.' Obi-wan said.

'Couldn't agree with you more.' Anakin grinned as both fist-bumped each other.

Issei gulped and awaited his fate as all the naked girls rushed towards him.

'If I live, I'll stop playing my video games.' thought Issei before he was assaulted by eight girls.

The Day of the Battle*

"You guys got this!" Issei and his peerage cheered as Rias and her peerage smiled gratefully as they were suddenly teleported into the Rating Game Arena.

"Issei if you want to, you and your peerage can watch with us in the Student Council Office." Sona offered while blushing. Issei and his peerage nodded as they all walked into the office as each took a seat and sat down. Sona's peerage was with her and all of them already had seats. Saji nervously coughed before walking up to Issei.

"Hey Issei. If we got off to a wro Darths because of me, I'm sorry." Saji nervously chuckled.

Issei smiled, "It's ok." Issei offered his hand which Saji took it and shook. Issei grabbed his seat next to Jane and Marina as everyone peered into the screen.

"Welcome to the Rating Game between Rias Gremory and Riser Phenex. We have a special guest watching this as well, our Devil Liaison Issei Hyoudou who helped to train Rias Gremory and her peerage due to their lack of inexperience." The voice of Grayfia was head before Issei's face was suddenly seen on the screens.

"Just go along with it." Sona whispered at Issei who nodded.

Soon Grayfia announced that there was to be ten minutes before the start for both teams to plan and organize their strategies. Screens showed both peerages with Riser just making out with his members and Ravel standing off to the side. The screens switched to Rias planning with her peerage as they were seen nodding at each other.

"Ten minutes are up. Good luck to both peerages and may this rating game begin!"

'Good luck Rias. Show how much you guys learned.' Issei thought as the game began.
