Chapter 19
Tree Hill Prison
Rachel was lead to the visitor's area with handcuffs. Prison guards watching at every exit.
At the sight of Brooke she smiled sweetly and sat down across from her.
Brooke wrapped her arms around herself.
"If it isn't my former best friend. Brooke Davis. What brings you to my humble home.? at least for now." Rachel asked. Dressed in an orange jumpsuit her face bare.
"Aurora is in a hospital bed fighting for life! And but that comes as no surprise to you. Because you set it all into motion.! She sent you're boyfriend to prison so you put a hit on her. You're own daughter! What the hell is wrong with you!" Brooke yelled.
Rachel laughed her voice echoing.
"You are jealous! I am her mother. I can have more kids. But you will never have that. Don't ask me how i know. Tree Hill is a small town. You certaintly enjoy picking at my sloppy seconds. Lucas, Aurora. Get out of here. I will never confess to anything!" Rachel yelled.

Tree Hill Hospital
Hours Later
"Daddy. Come on. Follow me." Aurora said. The four year old. Smiled and laughed.
"We're playing hide and seek. I'll go first. You close you're eyes and count to ten. I bet you won't find me."
"I'll going to win. You'll see. Come find me daddy" Aurora exclaimed. As she ran ahead of him.
Lucas awoke gasping for breath. Soon realizing he was still in the hospital.
Brooke's hand on his shoulder. "You've been here for hours. The doctor said. If and when she wakes up it has to be on her terms."
"You need to take of yourself. If you're going to be any good for Ro when she wakes up."
"Look we'll go down the cafeteria. Get some food. You go home. Get some sleep. I'll stay here and keep watch." Brooke said.
"I'm not leaving her. I can't. You wouldn't understand." Lucas said. Wincing as he saw the expression of hurt that went across Brooke's face.
"I love this girl. Just as much as you do. I'm just trying to help." Brooke said.
"I shouldn't of said that. I'm just. I don't know what to do. How to handle this." Lucas said.
"So stubborn. You wonder where i get it from." Aurora said softly.
The two looked to each other. Then back at the girl in pure shock.
"You're okay. You came back to me." Lucas said. Tears welling up in his eyes. The emotion in his voice thick.
"Grandpa Keith helped me find my way back." Aurora said.
