Playa De Losers Resort
Carson and Jackson, hand in hand, walked into the gorgeous resort they'd be staying at for the remainder of the game, Playa de Losers. They had only seen it on TV, and while they knew they were here for failing their team, they were relieved to just be able to relax for a bit.
They looked to their left and saw the eliminated teens in the swimming pool, hanging out at the in-pool tiki bar and talking, not seeing Jackson or Carson there. As Jackson and Carson walked closer to them, the seven of them stepped out of the pool, Janice walking excitedly towards Jackson especially.
"Jackson!" Janice held out her arms for a hug, but put them down when she remembered she was all wet from the pool.
"Oh, sorry." She laughed nervously.
"It's okay. I'm just so jubilant to see you! Even with the unfortunate circumstances that bring us here." Jackson said. All of the teens had already watched the episode and knew they were coming.
"We're really sorry about what happened." Hinley said.
"Yeah, even if it was supposed to be one of you, it wasn't fair it had to be both of you." Jason added.
"Thanks." Carson said.
"We appreciate it." Jackson added.
"It all seems like we're here because of a wrong decision made." Janice said, sighing and looking down. "I let my bad judgement get the better of me, again." She sat on the chair and put her fist under her chin, making a sad face and shrugging. "Story of my life."
"I don't regret anything." Ivy said in the corner, nobody realizing she was there.
"But, we're all just trying to make the best of a bad situation." Koda chimed, looking at their packed suitcases.
"Say, want us to help you put everything away? We have access to all the episodes if you wanna get caught up!" Carson and Jackson blushed, embarrassed to even think about watching themselves.
"I'm… not ready to watch the show just yet." Jackson said, still reeling in what had just happened. Carson nodded in agreement. "But I would love some company."
She smiled as Koda and Janice helped with their bags, and the two stopped to reflect on the resort as they headed to their rooms. Looking ahead, she knew they would be okay.
Terrific Tenors Rehearsal Room
The six remaining players of the Terrific Tenors gathered around and sat down in a semi-circle after rehearsing their songs in the last few hours before this week's competition. They were fairly confident they already had a leg-up in the competition since they had more people, but they weren't going to take any chances.
"Okay, I think we did a great job. I think we're ready to perform. Go ahead and get ready in your rooms and we'll meet outside the auditorium doors before the competition." Luke said. Even though the game is halfway over at this point, people still saw Luke as a great team leader.
"Thanks, Luke!" Piper said.
As the rest of the members congregated out of the room, Lizzy followed behind Luke, grabbing the back of his shirt.
"Ow!" Luke wailed. "This shirt was expensive." Lizzy shushed him, closing the door and making sure people were gone.
"Listen, I know about Piper's plan to get me out." She told him. Luke looked around the room.
"What plan?" He bluffed. It didn't work on Lizzy, as she had all the information she needed.
"Don't play that shit with me. The one where she wants to put me in her little alliance but get me out first in the merge."
"Do you really blame her?" Lizzy paused. She got closer to him, holding onto his arm.
"What's that supposed to mean?" She held her grip tighter. Luke wasn't scared and kept his composure, even though her grip was strong.
"Look, you're a great performer, but as a person? You're unpredictable. You try to be mean, you cry. You try to be nice, you're mean." Lizzy looked at him, tensing her face, ready to do something to him, but suddenly, something inside of her forced her to let go of him. She relaxed her face and frowned, knowing he was right.
"Piper's got a heavy advantage. Do you think you're safe?" She asked him genuinely.
"Because after she gets rid of me, you're next, you know. She's going to stick with Sami, who's gonna need Shawn in with her, who's going to make sure Mickey is in on their deal, and if we don't do something about them, they'll end up in the final four." Luke thought about this for a second, putting the pieces together, not wanting to believe what she's saying is true.
"I guess I never thought of that." He said as Lizzy nodded at the obvious.
"Well bitch, I did." She mumbled.
"What?"
"Nothing." She paused, thinking of a plan.
"We have to get her out. We can't let an alumni of the show who couldn't even make it through the first elimination possibly win." Lizzy said.
"Yeah, but like you said, her allegiance is with Sami, Mickey and Shawn. That's the rest of this group. Who else would listen to us?" Lizzy paused to think about what he said, but Luke spoke up before she could say anything else.
"That's a good point. Let's just get through this competition." She said. "Then we'll regroup."
Confession Cam
Luke: I can't believe I'm working with Lizzy incognito. This feels so wrong knowing I've been wanting to get her out since the beginning. But, she has a point. I'm not Piper's main ally, I'm her groupie following her band of friends.
Auditorium
As the Screaming Sopranos filed into an empty auditorium and sat down, Dustin began speaking to the team.
"Are you sure we're going to be okay?" Dustin asked, usually hot-headed, sounding afraid for once. "I'm feeling a lot like DJ in Total Drama World Tour."
"I never said we'd be okay," Xavier said. "But you know, we're giving it all we can and that's what matters, right?" Dustin facepalmed himself.
"Great." He said. "Just what I needed to hear." He turned away from the group, crossing his arms. Naomi tapped him on the shoulder, prompting him to turn around.
"None of us claim to have the answers, but I do know this - we have four people on our team. We worked super hard. All we can do is put on a wowing performance, and that's not going to happen if you keep asking the same question over and over."
Dustin calmed down as the Terrific Tenors walked into the auditorium. The four watched as they quietly filed into the auditorium, each team minding their own business. In times like these before a merge, true colors and intentions weren't going to come out just yet.
After a few minutes of awkward silence and keeping to their own teams, Chris came out to the front of the stage, looking down at his notes.
"Sorry I'm late, I have no excuse, I just didn't want to be here." He looked up, giving a cocky smile for the cameras recording them.
"Welcome to another exciting Total Drama Arts episode! Today, our contestants will be competing for someone much more important than moi! I didn't know it was possible to be more important than me, but apparently, it is. Please welcome, Total Drama favorites, the Drama Brothers!"
The four former contestants walked onto the stage, waving as the teens clapped for them. Though the Drama Brothers no longer make music, they were still asked to be here in honor of Boyband and Girlband group week. Cody, Justin, Trent and Harold took their own mics, and began to speak.
"We're really excited to be back here," Trent said.
"Yeah, and we wish you all the best of luck!" Cody said, smiling. "Now, let's start with the Screaming Sopranos!" The four of them sat together at a table in front of the auditorium as the four remaining members went up on stage, ready to perform.
ALL: "Oh don't you dare look back
Just keep your eyes on me.
I said you're holding back,
She said shut up and dance with me!
This woman is my destiny
She said oh oh oh
Shut up and dance with me"
Dustin: "We were victims of the night,
The chemical, physical, kryptonite
Helpless to the bass and faded light
Oh we were born to get together,
Born to get together."
Xavier: "She took my arm,
I don't know how it happened.
We took the floor and she said"
Naomi and Sami: "Oh don't you dare look back
Just keep your eyes on me."
Sami: "I said you're holding back,
She said
Sami and Naomi: "shut up and dance with me!"
Naomi: "This woman is my destiny
She said (ALL: "oh oh oh")
Shut up and dance with me"
Xavier: "A backless dress and some beat up sneaks,
My discothèque, Juliet teenage dream.
I felt it in my chest as she looked at me.
I knew we were born to be together,
Born to be together
She took my arm,
I don't know how it happened.
We took the floor and she said"
All: "Oh don't you dare look back
Just keep your eyes on me.
I said you're holding back,
She said shut up and dance with me!
This woman is my destiny
She said oh oh oh
Shut up and dance with me"
Dustin: "Deep in her eyes,
I think i see the future.
I realize this is my last chance."
Naomi: "She took my arm,
I don't know how it happened.
We took the floor and she said"
Sami: "Oh don't you dare look back
Just keep your eyes on me.
I said you're holding back,
She said shut up and dance with me!"
Xavier: "This woman is my destiny
She said (ALL: oh oh oh)
Shut up and dance!
Dustin and Sami: "Oh don't you dare look back
Just keep your eyes on me."
Naomi and Xavier: "I said you're holding back,
She said shut up and dance with me!"
Dustin: "This woman is my destiny
She said-"
All: "oh oh oh
Shut up and dance with me
Oh oh oh shut up dance with me"
The Terrific Tenors and judges clapped as they finished and held a pose, Dustin and Xavier exiting before Naomi and Sami's next song. The two girls got into place as they awaited the new music to come on.
Naomi: "See the people walking down the street
Fall in line just watching all their feet
They don't know where they want to go
But they're walking in time"
Sami and Naomi: "They got the beat
They got the beat
They got the beat
Yeah, they got the beat"
Sami: "All the kids just getting out of school
They can't wait to hang out and be cool
Hang around 'til quarter after twelve
That's when they fall in line"
Sami and Naomi: "They got the beat
They got the beat
Kids got the beat
Yeah kids got the beat"
Naomi: "Go-go music really makes us dance"
Sami: "Do the pony puts us in a trance"
Naomi: "Do the Watusi just give us a chance"
Sami and Naomi: "That's when we fall in line
'Cause we got the beat
We got the beat
We got the beat
Yeah we got it!
We got the beat
We got the beat
We got the beat
Everybody get on your feet we got the beat
We know you can dance to the beat we got the beat
Jumpin' get down we got the beat
Round and round and round
We got the beat
We got the beat
We got the beat
We got the beat
We got the beat
We got the beat
We got the beat
We got the beat
We got the beat
We got the beat
We got the beat
We got the beat
We got the beat
We got the beat"
The two ended in a pose, their hands up in the air as the Terrific Tenors clapped for them. As they bowed and exited the stage, Dustin and Xavier came onstage for their song and Screaming Sopranos' final song.
Dustin: "You say yes,"
Xavier: "I say no"
Dustin: "You say stop and I say go go
Both: "go, oh no
You say goodbye and I say hello
Hello hello
I don't know why you say goodbye, I say hello
Hello hello
I don't know why you say goodbye, I say hello"
Dustin: "I say high, you say low"
Xavier: "You say why and I say I don't know, oh no
You say goodbye and I say hello"
Dustin: "(Hello goodbye hello goodbye)"
Xavier: "Hello hello"
Dustin: "(Hello goodbye)"
Xavier: "I don't know why you say goodbye, I say hello"
Dustin: "(Hello goodbye hello goodbye)"
Xavier: "Hello hello"
Dustin: "(Hello goodbye)"
Xavier: "I don't know why you say goodbye"
Dustin: "(Hello goodbye)"
Xavier: "I say hello/goodbye"
Dustin: "Why why why why why why do you say goodbye goodbye, oh no?"
Xavier and Dustin: "You say goodbye and I say hello
Hello hello
I don't know why you say goodbye, I say hello
Hello hello
I don't know why you say goodbye, I say hello"
Dustin: "You say yes"
Xavier: "(I say yes)"
Dustin: "I say no"
Xavier: "(But I may mean no)"
Dustin: "You say stop"
Xavier: "(I can stay)"
Dustin: "and I say go go go"
Xavier: "(Till it's time to go)"
Dustin: "Oh no"
Xavier: "You say goodbye"
Dustin: "and I say hello"
Dustin and Xavier interchangebally: "Hello hello
I don't know why you say goodbye, I say hello
Hello hello
I don't know why you say goodbye, I say hello
Hello hello
I don't know why you say goodbye, I say hello hello
Hela heba helloa
Hela heba helloa, cha cha cha
Hela heba helloa, wooo
Hela heba helloa, hela
Hela heba helloa, cha cha cha
Hela heba helloa, wooo
Hela heba helloa, cha cah cah"
The audience clapped for Xavier and Dustin's song, and they began to bow as Sami and Naomi joined them onstage. They smiled grinnfully, feeling confident about their ability to bring three amazing, quality songs with the amount of people on their team. They owed it all to each other for sticking it through and combining their skills. As they let go of each other's hands, Trent was the first one to start conversation of the Drama Brothers.
"That was awesome, guys!" Trent smiled. "I could really tell you put your heart and soul into this challenge and carried on despite the lack of members." Trent looked to his right, prompting Harold to speak. He cleared his throat into the microphone.
"Great job, you guys. I would say you didn't have enough beatboxing. There are some killer songs out there by groups who beatbox, but overall, great job." He nodded over to Justin, who was asleep. He looked over to him and elbowed him in the shoulder, which startled Justin.
"What?" He asked. Harold stared him down and pointed to the Screaming Sopranos.
"What did you think of their performance?" Harold asked with gritted teeth. Justin rolled his eyes. He hated doing charity work, which is what he considered this to be.
"Uh, you were great, I guess." Justin said. Trent and Harold rolled their eyes, hoping Cody's final remark would save them from embarrassment of having anything to do with Justin.
"That was awesome, especially in the end with your rendition of Hello Goodbye! I LOVE The Beatles! Great job with limited resources!"
The four Screaming Soprano members smiled as the Terrific Tenors clapped for them once again, and walked down to the audience together.
As they walked back down to the audience, the Terrific Tenors began to come up to the stage together, ready for their first number, the group number. They got into place, and the music began to play.
Shawn: "Just a small-town girl
Livin' in a lonely world
She took the midnight train goin' anywhere"
Mickey: "Just a city boy
Born and raised in South Detroit
He took the midnight train goin' anywhere"
Lizzy: "A singer in a smokey room
The smell of wine and cheap perfume
Luke: "For a smile they can share the night
It goes on and on, and on, and on"
Lila: "Strangers waiting
Up and down the boulevard"
Piper: "Their shadows searching in the night
Streetlights people
Livin' just to find emotion
Hidin' somewhere in the night"
Mickey: "Workin' hard to get my fill
Everybody wants a thrill
Payin' anything to roll the dice just one more time"
Shawn: "Some will win, some will lose
Some were born to sing the blues
Oh, the movie never ends
It goes on and on, and on, and on"
All: "Strangers waiting
Up and down the boulevard
Their shadows searching in the night
Streetlights people
Livin' just to find emotion
Hidin' somewhere in the night
Don't stop believin'
Hold on to that feelin'
Streetlight people
Don't stop believin'
Hold on
Streetlight people
Don't stop believin'
Hold on to that feelin'
Streetlight people"
As they ended with a pose, their fists in the air, the audience clapped for them, and all but Luke, Mickey and Shawn stayed on the stage for the next number. The girls got into a row, facing the audience as they began their next number.
Lila, spoken: "He went away and you hung around
And bothered me, every night
And when I wouldn't go out with you
You said things that weren't very nice
Lila, sung: "My boyfriend's back and you're gonna be in trouble"
All: "(Hey-la-day-la my boyfriend's back)"
Lila: "You see him comin' better cut out on the double"
All: "(Hey-la-day-la my boyfriend's back)"
Lila: "You been spreading lies that I was untrue"
All: "(Hey-la-day-la my boyfriend's back)"
Lila: "So look out now 'cause he's comin' after you"
All: "(Hey-la-day-la my boyfriend's back)
(Hey, he knows that you been tryin')
(And he knows that you been lyin')"
Lizzy: "He's been gone for such a long time"
All: "(Hey-la-day-la my boyfriend's back)"
Lizzy: "Now he's back and things'll be fine"
All: "(Hey-la-day-la my boyfriend's back)"
Lizzy: "You're gonna be sorry you were ever born"
All: "(Hey-la-day-la my boyfriend's back)"
Lizzy: "'Cause he's kinda big and he's awful strong"
All: "(Hey-la-day-la my boyfriend's back)
(Hey he knows I wasn't cheatin'!)
(Now you're gonna get a beatin'!)
(What made you think he'd believe all your lies?)
(You're a big man now but he'll cut you down to size
(Wait and see)
Piper: "My boyfriend's back he's gonna save my reputation"
All: "(Hey-la-day-la my boyfriend's back)"
Piper: "If I were you I'd take a permanent vacation"
All: "(Hey-la, hey-la, my boyfriend's back)"
Piper: "Yeah, my boyfriend's back"
All: "(La-day-la, my boyfriend's back)"
Piper: "Look out now, yeah, my boyfriend's back"
All: "(La-day-la, my boyfriend's back)"
Piper: "I could see him comin' so you better get a runnin' alright now"
All: "(La-day-la, my boyfriend's back)"
Piper: "Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah"
All: "(La-day-la, my boyfriends's back)"
Lizzy: "My boyfriend's back now"
All: "(La-day-la, my boyfriend's back)"
Lila: "Know he's comin' after you because he knows I've been true now"
All: "(La-day-la, my boyfriend's back)"
The three girls smiled, their hands up in the air as the Screaming Sopranos clapped for them. They took a graceful curtsy as they walked off the stage, watching Mickey, Luke and Shawn walk onto the stage where they were, ready for their performance and the final song of the night.
Luke: "If everybody had an ocean
Across the U. S. A.
Then everybody'd be surfin'
Like Californi-a
You'd seem 'em wearing their baggies
Huarache sandals too
A bushy bushy blonde hairdo
Surfin' U. S. A."
Mickey: "You'd catch 'em surfin' at Del Mar
Ventura County line
Santa Cruz and Trestle
Australia's Narrabeen
All over Manhattan
And down Doheny Way
Everybody's gone surfin'
Surfin' U.S.A."
All: "We'll all be planning that route
We're gonna take real soon
We're waxing down our surfboards
We can't wait for June
We'll all be gone for the summer
We're on surfari to stay
Tell the teacher we're surfin'
Surfin' U. S. A."
Shawn: "Haggerties and Swamies
Pacific Palisades"
Mickey: "San Onofre and Sunset
Redondo Beach L. A.
All over La Jolla
At Wa'imea Bay"
All: "Everybody's gone surfin'
Surfin' U.S. A.
Everybody's gone surfin'
Surfin' U.S. A.
Everybody's gone surfin'
Surfin' U.S. A."
The audience applauds the boys of the Terrific Tenors for their performance, and the girls join the boys onstage to hear their critiques from the Drama Brothers. Trent started first, like last time.
"I really liked the variety of songs you chose. Far out." Trent said, giving the floor to Harold.
"Actually, Trent, far out was originated in the 1950s, whereas the songs they did were all from-" Justin interrupted.
"Shut up already! God, you're giving me a headache." The three other boys of the Drama Brothers looked at him, not shocked. They skipped him, and Cody went on to give his critiques.
"I loved your performances! Each one was different and unique, and you really made it your own! Gosh, it's going to be hard to pick a winner!"
As Cody said that, Chris returned to the stage while the Drama Brothers talked amongst themselves. The Terrific Tenors went back to the audience while this happened.
"What a great performance by the Terrific Tenors and Screaming Sopranos!" He looked down, Trent giving him a thumbs up. "You ready? All right!"
He walked down to their table and Trent whispered the winner in his ear, then Chris came back up to the stage, both teams nervous of what would happen.
"And the winner is…." Chris paused. "The Screaming Sopranos!"
The Screaming Sopranos looked at each other in awe, giving a group hug. They never thought they would win, especially only having four members of their team while the Terrific Tenors had six.
The Terrific Tenors pouted, feeling defeated. This only came to a small surprise to them, as they knew they didn't work as hard as they should have. They banked on the fact that Screaming Sopranos had less people than them and only gave about eighty percent when they should have been giving one-hundred and ten percent.
"Thanks for joining us in this week's episode of Total Drama Arts, and we'll see which member of the Terrific Tenors joins the losers club!"
A/N: Thank you so much for all of you sticking around and waiting for me to update, if there's any of you left! I'm so sorry this took so long, I really am going to try to go back to being more consistent. I started a new job about two months ago right before this whole COVID-19 mess started, and it just so happens to be in the healthcare field, and I've been focusing a lot of my energy on that. I hope that everyone is staying safe and social distancing! My PMs are always open if you need to vent!
As always, thank you for reading, and if any creators are still out there and you're part of Terrific Tenors, please reach out to me and give me a vote for who you'd like out. To any creator on either team, if you have a confessional of your character and how you're feeling, I always appreciate it! As always, please leave a review and PM me if you have any comments, questions, concerns, etc. :)
