"Your partners for this exercise will be decided...by drawing lots!" All Might exclaimed and pulled out two raffle boxes.

"Isn't there a better way to do this," Iida asked.

"Pros often have to work with heroes from other agencies on the spot, so maybe that's the reason," Midoriya explained.

"I see," Iida nodded his head.

"OK, Let's Draw!" All Might yelled as he made everyone draw a letter from the box.

Group A was Midoriya and Uraraka.

Group B was Todoroki and Shouji.

Group C was Momo and Mineta.

Group D was Bakugo and Iida.

Group E was Aoyama and Ashido.

Group F was Ojiro and Satou.

Group G was Kaminari and Jirou.

Group H was Asui and Tokoyami.

Group I was Sero and Kirishima.

And finally Group J was Danny and Hagakure.

"I guess we're partners then," Danny said to Hagakure.

"This is great! Let's do this!" Hagakure exclaimed while moving her white gloves in excitement.

"I-I know this might be a weird question but...are you naked right now?" Danny asked, immediately blushing.

"T-to..I can't wear anything or my quirk doesn't work," Hagakure said softly.

"Ok then," Danny quickly nodded his head and tried to ignore this for now.

"I declare that the first will be these guys!" All Might cried out as he pulled letters A and D from the box.

It seemed that Midoriya's and Bakugo's team were first up.

"Well shit...-," Danny cursed quietly.

"What's wrong? Hagakure asked curiously.

"I know this match isn't going to end well," Danny groaned and made his way towards the monitoring room to watch the match.

"Let's begin the indoor combat training! You only have 15 minutes!" All Might announced to the speaker, "Pay attention, kids. Think about what you will do!"

The match between Midoriya and Uraraka vs Bakugo and Iida quickly got started as everyone watched from the CCTV room.

"Who do you think is gonna win?" Kaminari questioned.

"Bakugo is pretty strong," Ashido commented.

"He seems pretty violent-Ribbit," Asui said as they watched Bakugo release explosions

"Midoriya and Uraraka may have a chance if they strategize and coordinate their plan of attack," Momo added.

Turning his attention back towards the screen, Danny watched as Midoriya and Uraraka entered the building through a window. They quickly made their way through the maze of a building.

No one could hear what each team was talking about but they could see all of their actions.

BOOM!

"A sneak attack!" Mineta called out.

On the screen it showed that Bakugo had appeared around the corner, attacking both Midoriya and Uraraka with an explosion.

"Izuku dodged the attack," Danny called out as it showed that Midoriya lost half of his mask.

"Sneak attack?! What kind of man pulls cheap crap like that?" Kirishima growled.

"It's a viable strategy. He is playing the part of the villain," All Might explained while keeping a close eye on the screen.

Once again attacking, Bakugo was to unleash an explosion but was stopped from Midoriya grappling his arm and then slamming his body into the ground.

Midoriya seemed to be screaming something at Bakugo, only making him even more angry as he attacked. While Midoriya and Bakugo engaged in combat, Uraraka ran away, likely looking for the bomb.

The more angry Bakugo became the sloppier his attacks became as Midoriya dodged and eventually ran away, causing Bakugo to follow.

"He's doing pretty good," Danny said to All Might.

All Might didn't respond but he nodded his head and had a proud smile on his face, almost like a parent watching their kid grow up.

The wild goose chase continued as Bakugo gave up all objectives of protecting the bomb, and solely focused on finding Midoriya. But while they did this Uraraka finally found where the bomb was hiding. The only problem was that Iida stood in front of it.

He seemed to be laughing maniacally, which caused Uraraka to laugh, giving up her hiding spot. Instead of immediately attacking her, Iida seemed to start gesturing all over the room while slowly walking forward.

As the clock reached the five minute mark, it seemed that Bakugo finally found where Midoriya was hiding.

When Bakugo stopped before Midoriya, he seemed to be slowly raising his grenade like gauntlet.

"Young Bakugo! Don't do it you'll kill him!" All Might suddenly yelled into a mic as he saw that the charge Bakugo was about to release.

Hearing this, Danny felt the hairs on the back of his neck rise. As he prepared to rush over if needed, Danny decided to wait as All Might hadn't acted yet.

Bakugo immediately yelled and completely ignored All Might's warning as he released the grenade's pin.

BOOOM!

From Bakugo's gauntlet a giant explosion was unleashed that shook the entire training building, destroying almost every single window and a chunk of the walls.

Already on the verge of phasing through the walls and flying to help, Danny watched the screens carefully until Midoriya was finally revealed.

"Come in?!" All Might called out in concern as the camera's were covered by dust.

Clenching his fist Danny was about to take off but suddenly felt someone grab onto his shoulder.

"Are you ok?" Momo asked, but stepped back when she saw Danny's eyes.

Danny's eyes weren't their usual toxic green when emotional, but instead they were a dark menacing red.

Seeing the fright in Momo's eyes, Danny quickly closed his eyes and settled his emotions until they turned back into their usual baby blue.

"Sorry...that happens when I get a little emotional," Danny smiled apologetically as he saw that Momo slowly relaxed.

"Midoriya is your friend, isn't he?" Momo asked.

"I almost always have dinner with him and his mom. I'm his neighbor and right now, he's one of my only friends," Danny said grimly as he waited for the smoke to clear.

After a few seconds when the smoke was finally gone it revealed that Midoriya was fine but only had a few scraps. It seemed that the majority of the blast flew over him, resulting in the wall behind him to be destroyed.

Although the attack was dangerous, Bakugo didn't care as he grinned madly and went to attack again but was stopped by All Might's voice.

"Bakugo! You use that stored power again your team will lose," All Might said sternly, "To employ such an attack indoors again is reckless. Even if you're a hero or a villain the penalty would be massive."

"If you don't stop the fight next time...I will," Danny said grimly to All Might as he appeared next to him in a blur of speed.

"I will be prepared to act," All Might responded as he clenched his fist.

While the childhood friends battled off, Uraraka attempted to touch the bomb but kept getting intercepted by Iida.

"He's going to kill him!" Kirishima cried out.

"He is certainly acting like a villain," Tokoyami said as he watch Bakugo attacked Midoriya ruthlessly.

"This can't go on. He only needs to use the capture tape!" Ashido pleaded with All Might.

Although Danny didn't think that Bakugo was a good person, he couldn't disagree that he was a talented fighter. But if the beat down he was giving Midoriya continued, then Danny was going to kill that egocentric douche.

As Midoriya and Bakugo got into a screaming match it seemed that they were about to collide. While Bakugo charged an explosion, Midoriya seemed to be putting all of his strength into his fist.

"STOP THIS RIGHT-!" All Might yelled but stopped when he saw that Midoriya had changed the trajectory of his attack.

Like a rush of wind, Midoriya's attack blew through the ceiling and busted through the roof. While this was happening Uraraka went on the attack by using the derby to distract Iida.

By using this distraction, Uraraka flew above Iida and landed straight on the bomb, securing the victory for the hero team.

"The hero team...WINS!" All Might yelled out.

Once he saw that the match was over, All Might rushed towards the building to make sure that Midoriya was alright.

"That..was such a weird way to end. The losers aren't even touched," Kaminari said after a long moment of silence.

At the moment Bakugo and Iida were both completely unharmed, while Uraraka was throwing up and Midoriya looked like he was hit by a truck.

"This class is intense," Asui announced.

"That's what you sign up for," Danny said grimly

Hagakure slapped Danny's shoulder, "You need to cheer up a little."

After a little while All Might finally came back with Iida, Uraraka, and a weirdly silent Bakugo. It seemed that Midoriya was sent to the nurse because of his quirk related injuries.

"Despite the results the MVP of this battle was Iida!" All Might announced, "Does anyone know why?"

"I do, All Might-sensei," Momo raised her hand, "It's because Iida was more adapted to that scenario...Bakugo was moving on a personal goal...Uraraka lost focus halfway through. Iida was the only one to enact a counter-strategy to the struggle. The hero team only won because this was a training exercise."

Everyone stood dumbstruck by Momo's fairly long and detailed speech. But one person who was extremely grateful was Iida, as he looked to be on the verge of crying.

"Y-yes, well you overlooked a few things. Young Iida could have relaxed a little in the exercise...but otherwise you nailed it!" All Might stuttered out and gave Momo a thumbs up.

"One should always start with the basics and devote themselves wholeheartedly to learning. That's the only true way to become a top hero!" Momo announced heroically, while dressed in a rather revealing costume.

"...It's like Jazz was reborn," Danny mumbled quietly in astonishment.

"Alright! Let's move onto the next match!" All Might cried out.

"Yes, sir!"

"Next up will be...Team B vs Team J," All Might announced after drawing from the boxes.

Danny looked up in surprise to see that it was already his turn to fight. He quickly looked around and was once again amazed to see who he was up against.

"Aren't you excited? It's our turn to be the villains..Bwahah," Hagakure cheered and laughed evilly.

"Yeah...let's go be the villains," Danny grinned as he locked his toxic green eyes with Todoroki.

It seemed that the teams were Danny and Hagakure vs Todoroki and Shoji.

Entering a different building as the other one was destroyed, Danny and Hagakure both had 15 minutes to prepare before the exercise began.

"So do you have a plan? Cause if I'm gonna do this, my boots and gloves are coming off," Hagakure said as her only clothing dropped to the floor.

"You're very naked...okay. So I was thinking of going on the offensive while you protect the bomb," Danny said to Hagakure.

Even though Hagakure was invisible, Danny could sense her easily. He had grown used to dealing with beings that could become invisible.

"That sounds good. If they come in I'll get the drop on them," Hagakure said excitedly.

"Great! I'll-," Danny said, but stopped when he walked into something very soft and squishy.

"Kyaaa!" Hagakure cried out.

"I'm so sorry! I-I'm just going to go," Danny stuttered as he realized that he just walked into a very naked Hagakure.

Danny quickly ran out of the room with the bomb as the hero team should be coming soon.

Focusing back at the task at hand, Danny waited until the 15 minutes were over and then started to move. Just as he was about to take off, Danny suddenly felt a familiar chill of cold air.

Quickly covering the walls and the whole building was a layer of ice that was moving like a wave.

"So this is his power..Huh," Danny muttered as his eyes began to glow a bright blue.

Just as this wave of ice was about to hit Danny, it suddenly stopped. In fact when Danny began to walk forward, all of the ice on the walls began to melt.

Listening closely Danny could already hear the echoing footsteps of who he assumed to be Todoroki.

"That was quite the impressive display of power. If only you were just a little better it could have worked," Danny joked as he saw the widened eyes of Todoroki.

Todoroki didn't respond as he slammed his foot down and shot a tidal wave of ice at Danny. Unbothered by this, Danny simply stood his ground and let the ice pass over him.

Once the ice hit, Todoroki lost sight of Danny as he was buried in a wave of ice.

Just as Todoroki was about to move forward he was unprepared for the ice to suddenly burst open. Blitzing forward Danny slammed his fist into Torodoki's gut and launched him towards an ice covered wall.

"ARGHH!" Todoroki groaned as he felt like he was hit by a truck.

"Is that all you got, Hero!" Danny yelled as he slowly marched his way forward, completely unscathed.

Danny quickly lifted his palm and launched a weak ecto-blast at Todoroki. Seeing this attack Todoroki dropped to the floor as the wall behind him was destroyed.

"Is dodging all you can do! Where's your arrogance now!?" Danny yelled as he prepared to attack.

Even though he was on the ground, Todoroki still found the strength to slam his right hand onto the floor. As another iceberg rushed towards him, Danny dodged by running on the wall and leaping towards Todoroki with the capture tape.

Just as he was inches away from capturing Todoroki with the tape, Danny had to change his trajectory to dodge a three armed punch.

"Are you ok?" Shoji asked Todoroki, as he carefully watched Danny with his tentacles.

Todoroki waved off this concern as he shakily stood up and glared at Danny.

"I'm quite the stepping stone, aren't I?" Danny teased as Todoroki was still holding his side in pain.

"I won't give up!" Todoroki growled but didn't attack yet.

Taking initiative, Shoji suddenly ran forward to try and tackle Danny to the floor, while wrapping his six appendages to restrain him.

Danny seeing that Shoji was running towards him, he charged some ecto-energy into his glowing blue eyes and released it. Shooting forward, a beam of blue energy came from his eyes and hit Shoji straight in the chest.

Faster than he could even yell, Shoji was frozen solid as ice covered his entire body. Shoji didn't even seem to be in pain inside the ice, but simply frozen.

"That...ice," Todoroki whispered in amazement.

Just as Danny was about to rush forward and attack Todoroki, he suddenly stopped and smirked when he saw a floating capture tape.

"You should really pay attention to your surroundings...-," Danny grinned and waited.

"What-?" Todoroki asked but was unprepared for tape to suddenly wrap around his body.

"CAPTURE!" Hagakure cried out as she successfully won the exercise.

"THE VILLAIN TEAM WINS!" All Might yelled through the speakers.
