Monday Afternoon

It was around lunch time and Juliet called Maggie.

"Hello?" Maggie answered.

"Hey, what are you doing for lunch?" Juliet asked.

"Nothing. Just sitting around the house. Why?"

"Why don't me, you, and Reagan go to lunch?"

"That sounds like fun. I planned on dropping Morgan with Henry and Maddie."

"It's 12:15 now, wanna meet at the diner around 12:45 or 1:00?"

"That sounds good. I'll call Reagan now."

"Alright. Love you."

"Love you too, mom."

Maggie hung up the phone and called Reagan

"Hey Mags, what's up?" Reagan asked.

"What are you doing in 30 minutes?" Maggie asked.

"Nothing. Why?"

"I'm coming to pick you up. We are going to lunch with my mom."

"That sounds fun. I miss her."

"She misses you. I'm going to drop off Morgan with dad's parents and then I'm heading your way."

"Why isn't she coming with us?"

"I already planned on dropping her there this afternoon, so I could have a little time to myself."

"Good idea. I will see you in a bit."

"Sounds good. See ya."

Maggie hung up the phone and got up and got Morgan dressed.

Juliet

Shawn walked into their office with a sandwich.

"Want some?" Shawn offered.

"No thanks. I'm about to head out anyway." Juliet said.

"Where are you going?"

"If you must know, I am going to lunch with Maggie and Reagan."

"Without me?"

Juliet laughed, "Yes baby, sorry."

"Not fair."

"You do know, I need girl time right?"

"We have 2 girls, what more girl time could you need?"

"I know we have 2 girls. I am talking about other than our kids."

"Jules, I don't know if you know this, but Maggie is our kid."

"I know that, but Reagan is not. She also is Maggie's oldest friend."

"Ok, you have a point. Where is the baby going to be?"

"With your parents."

"Can you believe my dad is almost 70?"

"No I can't."

"You know, I'm glad that we have worked out our differences."

Juliet went up to Shawn and wrapped her arms around his waist, "I am too, baby."

"What time are you leaving?"

"It's 12:25 now, so in about 5 minutes."

Shawn put his sandwich on his desk and walked over to Juliet, "I was thinking the other day, I don't know how I got so lucky. I know I say this a lot, but, I never want you to forget it. I'm in love with you Juliet O'Hara, I will always be in love with you."

Juliet wrapped her arms around Shawn and looked up at him, "Shawn Spencer, you beautiful man. I love you. Thank you for almost 25 years of non-stop adventure. Whether it's you being yourself, which I love and adore, or it's just you brightening my day by telling me how much you love me. I never want to let you go, Spencer."

Shawn smiled and kissed Juliet, "Look, it's almost time for you to go."

"You had to ruin it didn't you?" Juliet joked.

Shawn shrugged and gave Juliet a hug, "Please have fun. Tell the girls 'Hey' for me."

"I got it. I love you."

"I love you too."

Maggie

Maggie was running around the house gathering everything that Morgan needed while she was at Henry's. She got everything together, grabbed Morgan and left.

Maggie got to Henry's and knocked.

Maddie came to the door, "Well hello, how are you guys?"

"We are good. I'm just dropping her off for her weekly grandma and grandpa day." Maggie said.

"Are you in a hurry?"

"I'm meeting my mom for lunch in about 10 minutes."

"Oh well, you have fun. Tell your mom we say, 'Hey.'"

"Of course. Love you, grandma."

"I love you too, Maggie."

Maggie turned around and got back in her car and drove to Reagan's house.

Maggie pulled into Reagan and Hunter's driveway and went and knocked on the door.

Reagan came to the door with her purse in her hands, "Ready?"

"Yep." Maggie said.

Maggie and Reagan got in the car and drove to the diner.

Juliet

Juliet left the station at 12:40 and headed to the diner to meet Maggie and Reagan.

Juliet pulled into the parking lot at 12:50 and went inside and got a table.

10 Minutes Later

10 minutes later, Maggie and Reagan walk in and see Juliet.

Juliet looked up and saw Maggie and Reagan walking toward her. She got out of her seat to greet Reagan.

"Reagan, how are you?" Juliet asked.

"I'm really well, how are you, Mrs. Juliet?" Reagan asked.

"Good."

Juliet gave Reagan a hug and sat back down.

"Well, hey to you too, mom." Maggie joked.

Juliet got back up and hugged Maggie, "Hey baby girl. How's your day?"

"Busy. I've been cleaning all day."

"What do you need to clean?"

"I've put off so many things, that I don't even remember what I did."

"You definitely got that from your father."

"Speaking of, what's he up to today?"

"Working. He wanted to come, but I made him stay at the station to finish up work."

"So Mrs. Juliet, how is it being a grandma?" Reagan asked.

"You know, it's pretty wonderful. I love that little nugget so much. She brings both Shawn and me joy. Shawn is absolutely wrapped around her finger." Juliet said.

"When we went out the other night, I kept thinking about kids with Hunter."

Maggie almost choked on her drink, "I'm sorry, what?"

"Yeah. I mean I see you and Garrett as parents and you two make it look so easy."

"You really want Hunter's kids?"

"Yeah. I've thought about it even before we went out."

"Reagan, I'm so happy for you."

"He doesn't even know that I've been thinking about it."

Juliet jumped in, "Do you see yourself with Hunter for the rest of your life?"

"I do. I don't know how we didn't date before the wedding." Reagan said.

"That's exactly how me and Shawn were. We danced around the concept of dating, then we both realized that we were each other's person."

"How did you know he was the one?"

"Oh gosh. I would say the first time I saw him. We were actually sitting at that bar in those exact seats when we first met. He was charming, but he didn't seem like the type to settle down."

"Did he show you that he wanted to settle down?"

"Yeah. About a year after we knew each other, I saw him start to mature and become more responsible. Now he still had his childish side, which I absolutely love, but he was also serious."

"But you guys separated, didn't you?"

"We did. It was the worst mistake of our lives."

"Why did you guys split?"

Maggie caught Juliet's eye, "I'll tell you that later, it's very sensitive."

"Even 20 years later?"

"Yep. But she loves him, so I guess it doesn't really matter."

Maggie looked up and saw Garrett, Hunter, and Shawn walking in.

"Mother, your husband is here." Maggie said.

"Maggie, your husband is here." Juliet said.

"Reagan, your husband is here." Maggie and Juliet said in unison.

"Don't say that too loud." Reagan joked.

Maggie got up from the table and went over to Garrett, "Hey, I thought you were busy today."

"I got off a few hours early." Garrett said.

"Who told you we were here?"

"Your father."

Shawn looked at Maggie, "Hey, Mags."

"Hey, daddy. What brings you down here?" Maggie asked.

"You know, I was craving a pineapple smoothie and this was on the way."

Juliet shook her head.

"What was that for, Jules?" Shawn asked.

"Baby, the smoothie store is two blocks away." Juliet said.

"Fine, you caught me, I missed you."

"You are such a little baby. I love you."

"I love you too."

Hunter went up to Reagan, "Hey baby."

Reagan got up and gave Hunter a kiss.

"Hey, what are you doing here?" Reagan asked.

"Thought we could get in some guy time."

"Well, are you hungry?"

Hunter nodded.

Maggie looked at Garrett, "Gare, are you hungry?"

"Famished." Garrett said.

Juliet looked at Shawn who was already sitting down eating her fries.

"Well, I was going to ask if Shawn was hungry, but I just got my answer." Juliet poked Shawn.

"Jules, these fries are amazing." Shawn mumbled.

"Can you finish chewing your food first?"

Shawn finished chewing his food, "I said, that these fries were amazing."

"Yeah I know, I wasn't done eating them."

Maggie laughed, "I'll order you some more fries mom."

"It's no big deal, Mags, I was just messing with Dad."

Shawn finished Juliet's fries, "Thanks for the fries, Jules."

"I'm so glad you enjoyed them, Shawn." Juliet said sarcastically.

"Are you coming back to work?"

"Yes. I just wanted an hour to eat lunch."

"Ok. I'm going to be out in the field when you get back."

"You, going in the field without me?"

"Well, Lassie and Karen are going…"

"What case?"

"Armed robbery. I think it's cut and dry, but you know…"

"Yeah I do. But please be safe, baby."

Shawn wrapped his arms around Juliet, "Of course. Enjoy the rest of your lunch. Text me when you get back to the office."

"Ok. I love you."

"I love you too."

Shawn bent down and kissed Juliet.

"Alright boys, kiss the ladies goodbye, we are on to our next adventure." Shawn said.

Garrett turned to Maggie, "I love you. I'll go pick up Morgan for you, so you and Reagan can hang out a little more."

"You're the best." Maggie said.

"I love you."

Maggie got on her tiptoes and kissed Garret, "I love you too. Don't have too much fun."

"We have a teething baby, how much fun can we have?"

"You have a point. Her teething rings are in the freezer and medicine in her bag."

"Got it. If I'm not home when you get home, text me when you do get there."

"Of course."

Garrett pulled Maggie into a tight hug and kissed her head.

Reagan went up to Hunter and hugged him.

"How's your day?" Hunter asked.

"It's good. I miss Mags and Mrs. Juliet." Reagan said.

"I know. You know, the house next to them is for sale…"

"Wait, we just moved into your place."

"I know, but I can sublet it."

"We don't need that much space, it's just us two."

"Please think about it."

"Ok. Go on. I love you."

"I love you too."

Hunter kissed Reagan and walked out the door with Shawn and Garrett.

Maggie turned to Juliet, "Did you tell dad we were coming here?"

"Maybe." Juliet said.

"I missed Garrett so it was ok."

"I'm glad your visit was good. Your father ate all of my fries."

"I mean, did you expect anything else?"

"True."

"Reagan, what was Hunter talking to you about?"

"The house next door to you is for sale and he's thinking about buying it." Reagan said.

"You just moved into his apartment not even 6 months ago." Juliet said.

"I know, he said he could sublet it. He wants to be closer to Garrett."

Maggie laughed, "Does that sound like someone we know?"

Juliet rolled her eyes, "He lived in the same neighborhood, not the house next door."

"Who?" Reagan asked.

"Dad's best friend, Gus." Maggie said.

"Oh is that the one he introduces by those ridiculous names?"

"Yes. He's been doing that since Psych started…30 years ago." Juliet said.

"I bet he loves that."

"He does. Shawn comes up with some good ones."

"I'll have to meet him one day."

"We can make that happen."

Juliet looked at her watch and saw it was 2:30.

"Alright girls, thank you for lunch. We should make this a weekly thing." Juliet said.

"I'm down. Rea, you good?" Maggie asked.

"Oh absolutely." Reagan said.

"Ok. Well I have to go back to work now." Juliet said.

Maggie put enough money down to cover the entire bill.

"Maggie Grace, you are not paying for lunch." Juliet fussed.

"Juliet Lynn, I just did." Maggie shot back.

"I'm sorry, what did you just say to me?"

"I meant, mom, I just did."

"That's what I thought."

Maggie hugged Juliet, "I love you momma. I'll see you later."

"I love you too, baby girl. I'll see you around dinner. I do believe dad is cooking." Juliet said.

"Ok. Well, be safe please."

"Of course."

"Bye, Mrs. Juliet, thank you for inviting me to lunch. I miss you." Reagan said.

"You're welcome, Rea. I know you girls are busy these days, so I thought we could have an hour to ourselves." Juliet said.

Reagan hugged Juliet.

Juliet returned Reagan's hug, "You and Hunter are welcome at our house anytime. You know that."

Reagan pulled away, "Yeah, I do."

Maggie grabbed her purse and started walking to her car.

"Well, I think Maggie is ready to go." Juliet joked.

"I miss my child." Maggie said.

"I miss her too." Reagan said.

"Want to come see her?"

"Sure."

Maggie and Reagan got into Maggie's car and drove to Henry and Maddie's house.

Juliet left the diner and drove back to the station.

Maggie

Maggie pulled into Henry's driveway and saw Garrett's truck there.

Maggie and Reagan got out of the car and went to the front door. Maggie opened the front door and saw Maddie in the kitchen.

"Hey grandma." Maggie said.

Maddie turned around wiping her hands on a towel to dry them.

"Hey Maggie. Hello Reagan. How are you?" Maddie asked.

"Great. Just came by to see Morgan while we're still out and about." Reagan said.

"Well she is right over there with Garrett on the floor."

Maggie walked over to Garrett and tapped him with her shoe.

"Who's that?" Garrett asked.

"Me." Maggie said.

"Oh hey. What are you doing here?"

"I miss my child. Reagan wanted to come and see her."

"Where is she at?"

"I thought she was right behind me."

Maggie turned around and caught Reagan's eye.

"Hold on just a second." Maggie told Garrett.

Maggie walked over to Reagan and brought her upstairs to the guest bedroom and shut the door.

"What's going on?" Maggie asked.

"I've decided, I want a family with Hunter." Reagan said.

"I thought you knew that already."

"I did, but I needed a second confirmation. Watching you and Garrett with Morgan makes me wish I had that."

"You'll have it, Rea. I know you will."

Reagan hugged Maggie, "Hunter just texted. Let's get going."

Maggie nodded.

Maggie and Reagan came down the stairs.

"Baby, we're going." Maggie said.

"Why? You just got here." Garrett said.

"I know. Hunter just texted Reagan that he's home."

"Ok. I'll see you later, Reagan."

"Bye Garrett." Reagan said.

Reagan bent down, "Good bye Morgan, you be a good girl for your momma and daddy."

Morgan smiled at Reagan.

"I love you, baby." Maggie said.

"I love you too. I'll see you at home." Garrett said.

Maggie nodded and kissed Garrett.

Reagan got up and pulled Maggie to the door.

"Bye Grandma!" Maggie yelled.

Maddie came down the hall, "Why are you girls leaving?"

"Reagan needs to get home. I picked her up earlier today."

"Ok. Well it was lovely to see you again Reagan."

"It was great to see you, Mrs. Spencer." Reagan said.

"Oh dear, please call me Maddie."

Reagan nodded.

Maggie and Reagan left Maddie's house and went to Reagan's house.

Maggie pulled into Reagan's driveway, "Alrighty. I'll see you later. Text me later."

"Of course. Thank you for lunch today. I had a blast." Reagan said.

"We did too."

Reagan got out of Maggie's car, "Bye Mags. I'll talk to you later."

"Of course. Bye Rea." Maggie said.

Reagan shut Maggie's door and waved to her.

Maggie backed down Reagan's driveway and went home to take a nap.
