In case you are wondering who the thing with red eyes was in the story's photo. Yes that's Darkseid. Although this story won't go through Darkseid's invasion. Some things that aren't ready. Darkseid continues to hold Supergirl by her neck. Her legs are saparated from the floor, due to flying.
Kara screeches like a scrawny girl, having the difficulty to escape from his enemy's grasp. He has a strong grip. This may have been the first time Kara received a grip from someone so powerful.
"How...?", Kara tried questioning. His grip was overpowering her will to speak. "How can you be restructured with Timan-El?".
Darkseid stops a moment, gesturing his head. It crept her.
"You should know that by now", said Darkseid, tuning back to his usual volume. "I am a deity, who will arise to the discordances of two abundants".
"Two...what?"
"You will soon realise your true mistake, Kara Zor-El", Darkseid deemed. "And it will be a vast disappointment to your cousin, whom you've sworn to protect". He reminds Kara of her first mission, back when Krypton exploded. Kara's parents gave her a task: to raise Kal-El in a world they've found. The tides change, but still she wouldn't let it go so easily. "A major disappointment. Thinking you are a god. Those classes possess infinite power".
Darkseid strengthened his grip, to aggravate her. What Kara soon realised is Darkseid's physical state isn't close to a bit-portion of his strength. Though it didn't matter, Darkseid has a fruitful quandary. To kill a blood of Superman's.
Supergirl, with her hands, latches onto Darkseid's physical-touched hand, attempting to squeeze it.
"Still won't give up?", Darkseid raised. He exerted his face closer to her's. A densed aura on his eyes. "Then I will end you at once". Darkseid stretches his right, as his left arm's laboured. "Goodbye Supergirl".
Right when he was about to dart his hand her chest, an arrow was shot over his head. The arrow emancipates a white band, blinding him. His blindness weakens his grip on Supergirl. Kara drops. That is all he can distinguish. Straight away, his head was physically gusted. Darkseid staged into his regeneration.
After the process was complete, he discerns Supergirl's disappearance. He looked to the spot Supergirl placed, after freeing that man. They were both gone.
Vexation swells inside him. "No one escapes from Darkseid!", the deity lined. He goes into calming his rage down, patient. His true plan barely begun. And it was impossible for anyone to escape his pure wrath. Albeit Darkseid admits he is less than full strength after situated to get killed by his nemesis. "You will all bleed under my wrath".
