CHAPTER 23: EPILOGUE

The Next Day after the Raid was over, Aldridge was killed and all the hostages were freed to society once again. As a show of Respect, Lupe offered to arrange flights back to the ex-hostage's home countries. Lupe, Scott, Marshall, Tracker, Chase and Skye decided to talk with Valkyrie before she headed back to New Zealand. Skye just wanted to thank her for looking out for her in those horrible weeks of being Trapping in that bunker.

"Adventure Bay huh?" Valkyrie said, rubbing the fur beneath her chin, continuing to contemplate the offer Skye was offering.

"Yup, Please visit anytime" Skye responded.

"I'll probably visit in a month" Valkyrie stated, There attention was both taken from them as they same a familiar wolf dog trying to wrestle out of the grip of police officers. Skye back away but the Saluki gave a weird look. Chase seeing Wolf breed resisting police reacted by placing his paw on his service pistol just in case he broke loose. Other people in the Airport either back away our got out their phones and started recording.

"Geez, what'd that guy do?" Scott crossed his arms and looked at the wolf trying to tug away from the officer's that were trying to force him into a separate plane gate.

"He was one of the hostages being held by the Cartel, After talking to the Canadian Prime Minister, he was apparently wanted by the Police" Lupe explained, Skye and Valkyrie's ears perked up as they heard the background of the wolf that had terrorized them in their confinement.

"W-What was he wanted for?" Skye asked.

"Felonies for Illegal possession of a firearm, A couple of burglary charges,Robbery, Fraud and Rape...real scum bag" Lupe stated on and on about his charges, After learning of his twisted background, Skye and Valkyrie both looked the Mixed Wolf breed trying to tug the Officers, but to no prevail. Before he was taken into Gate, The Wolf turn a little more passive and started to comply, Then what happened took back Skye, The Mixed Breed Wolf looked over to his right to see Skye and Valkyrie just standing there, Then he gave a sinister smile.

Skye started to shiver with fear, even though she knew he was gonna, being deported back to Canada and probably stay the rest of his life in a prison cell, she still had a dark feeling. Fortunately, Tracker took notice of her urgent fear and started to comfort her by laying his head over hers and wrapping his front paws around her in a hug.

This Gesture didnt seem upset from this gesture from the potcake to the cockapoo, He just stood there calm and collected, even with a little proud smile. Marshall looked beside him to the German Shepherd to see a face of pleasure rather than anger. Suddenly, Felt someone bump up against him to his right side, it was Valkyrie trying to act like it was an accident.

"H-Hey, My name is Valkyrie" She introduced herself, raising her right paw to the German Shepherd in the manner of a formal greeting even though they had met after the Raid was over.

"Chase" Chase replied whilst shaking her paw, they were sharing a deep stare for about 10 seconds and it got really awkward to the point where both of them started to blush and looked away to try and hide the pink glaze across their faces. When Tracker had separated himself from Skye after comforting her, The Jungle Ranger felt a few taps on his back, as if someone was trying to get his attention to engage in a conversation. Tracker turned around to see the Commander from the Raid, the one had handcuffs to his steering wheel. Not even a word was said as Tracker's ears began to flop down already knowing it wasnt going to be good.

"Handcuffing me to a steering wheel wasnt the best choice you know" The Commander said as he looked down upon him with his arms cross in disappointment. Tracker let out a soft whimper. To his surprise, William just let out a sigh with a short chuckle.

"But like I said, I know what its like to go through that kind of determination, I mean, If it weren't for you, I would have been responsible for a lot more casualties" He pointed out, Tracker's ears perked up hearing the Commander speak good of him after expecting him to do the opposite and scold him down. The Commander leaned down and extended his arm out for a handshake. Tracker grew a smile on his muzzle and did the same, meeting his paw with the Commander's hand.

When that was done, Commander leaned back up and gestured for Scott to follow, his time in Mexico was basically done.

"Its been a pleasure working with yall, Cya Later" Scott followed his Commander to leave in a more private airline. Tracker, Chase and others said goodbye and waved on. Tracker started to look at Chase and Valkyrie getting deep into a conversation, sharing their interests and beliefs. Suddenly, a bunch of people at the Designated Airline Gate started to assemble into a line, signal it was now time to board.

"Good Bye Valkyrie, Maybe I'll visit you if I get the chance" Skye said as Valkyrie joined the line, the first step to getting back to her home country and being free once more. Tracker and the others waved and left the waiting area to go to a private airstrip where Chase, Marshall, Skye and Tracker would be taking instead of a public airliner.

"Soooo...What do you think might happen to whats left of the Cartel?" Marshall asked to the group trying to get an answer.

"If I had to give a good guess, whats left of them will just break off and try make their own mini cartels, But it wont last. Most of them are incompetent and drug heads with guns, they wont make it through a weak. Plus, Lupe here is going to triple the amount of police to counter any Cartel that tries to come back" Tracker explained whilst exiting the Airport. Lupe nodded as he too thought that might happen to those who were still loyal to Aldridge.

3 MONTHS LATER

Back at the Lookout, Skye and Tracker playing pup-boogie on the dance board, trying to best each other, a friendly romantic competition. Chase staring outside a large window with a mug of coffee in his paw looking out at Adventure Bay. Marshall and Everest rested together on the couch, The Dalmation's back was on the couch whilst Everest was ontop of Marshall with her paws wrapped around him like he was a Teddy Bear. Ryder came into view with a bowl of dog treats he placed on a coffee table for everyone to enjoy. Skye ahead of Tracker in the game, all she had to do was hit the last move.

Until Ryder came up behind her and grab her up in the air, giving her a big hug, unfortunately pulling her away from the game.

"Im so glad you're back Skye" Ruder hugged her, Skye was great full she was back and still alive, but Ryder it had been months since her Capture from the Cartel and Ryder still hadnt technically gotten over it. Skye began to squirm out of Ryder's hug and try to not it Tracker beat her. The Jungle Ranger was picking up his pace and he going at an incredible speed, and with the last move-

PLAYER 2 WINS

Skye had stopped struggling just starred at the screen in shock, Tracker turned around to give a smirk. Skye's response was a face of 'Are you kidding me?' Ryder saw her defeat on screen and felt kind of bad.

"Hey Ryder, can you come over here for a second?" Chase asked across the room, Ryder look over and started to make his way over to him, gently planting Skye back down on the ground. Tracker walked over to her and started to lick her cheeks.

"Guess your skills are no match for mine" Tracker commented in a playful manner, Skye started to giggle with her getting back on the board.

"That wasnt fair, I call a rematch"

"You sure your skills are equal against my devilishly handsome looks?" Tracker teased whilst posing with one paw against his Jaw and other pointing to the sky. Skye couldnt help but laugh from the goofy Potcake's ego.

"Come here you" Skye jumped off the board with a playful smile and immediately planted a kiss on Tracker's lips, making the Jungle Ranger's eyes as wide as plates and as red as a Tomato. Not too long into the kiss, Tracker closed his eyes and started to kiss back. Rocky was seen eating out the bowl of dog treats as he saw them kissing.

"Eww, I'm eating" Rocky said with a mouth full of dog treats with crumbs starting to fall from his mouth and onto the floor. Ryder and Chase started to head to the Elevator; Tracker, Skye, Rocky started to question.

"Where you amigos goin?" Tracker asked, When Ryder and Chase arrived int the center of the elevator, Chase turned to answer.

"Someone is at the Lookout"

"Who?"

"Thats what we're going to find out" Chase said as he motioned the potcake to follow, Tracker got up and ran to the elevator, Skye did the same. Rocky was busy not caring and Marshall and Everest were still sleeping peacefully, best not to wake them.

After the elevator lowered down and all four came out to the open air, Stepping out onto the asphalt road and seeing the unknown car parked a few feet away from them. The person who came out was all too Familiar to Skye.

"Valkyrie, finally came to visit?" Skye said as she began to step forward, but she senses something was wrong. Usually when you hadnt seen a friend if over a month, tend to have a smile or engage the other in a friendly greeting. It was Clear something or someone was bothering Valkyrie, as she had the face of anger and sadness mixed together.

"Valkyrie?" Skye tilted her head, The Grey Saluki didnt even acknowledge her as the Cockapoo began to walk even closer to her. Tracker saw the suspicious behaviour from the Saluki, so he stepped in, Chase did the same.

"I-Is there something wrong?" Tracker asked Valkyrie, fortunately she finally turned around to the two trying to get her attention.

"Yes..." Valkyrie whispered, She turned back to the vehicle she arrived in and turned to the back seat door. She opened it and what inside brought the two to surprise, a small puppy that was sitting down with back seat of the car. Valkyrie leaned inside the car and unbuckled the child.

"Oh, you never told me you had a pup, Wheres your mate?" Skye asked, not getting a verbal response from the Saluki. Only a one from her face, She was saddened by the mention of her mate and then turned angry.

"Can we talk inside please?" Valkyrie asked, Skye and Tracker looked at each other sort of confused,possibly already knowing what had gotten her in such a terrible mood. Both of them nodded whilst getting support from Chase and Ryder. Ryder was informed by Skye who Valkyrie was and that she might be coming over, he knew he had nothing to worry about. Chase was more than happy to invite her inside and just the sight of her brought the German Shepherd happy thoughts and a pink glaze across his muzzle.

After a few minutes of Valkyrie detailing what had gotten her down and mad, led to tears streaming down her face. Skye provided her a drink to make her feel better, Tracker gave her tissues to quell her running nose and tears and Chase was there to comfort her by assuring her it was alright.

"I-I cant believe it" Skye commented, she was in total shock from Valkyrie's story, The Saluki explained that after she had arrived back in New Zealand, for the entire time She was captured by the Cartel, Her mate did absolutely nothing to get her back, no negotiations with the Cartel and no Attempts at using Military action. Instead, he was cheating on her with a number of other female canines. Some he had possibly known and dating after he married Valkyrie. Maybe even a number of visits to Brothels and Strip clubs. With about a couple days, Valkyrie filed for divorce and gain custody of their pup son, Taurus. The Great Dane was still in the property of the house, so Valkyrie moved out to stay with a friend in New Zealand she had known. After that, she decided to pay a visit to Skye.

Chase growled at the thought Valkyrie's ex-Mate was so disloyal to such a beautiful hound, This was not noticed by everyone else as all the rest of the Paw Patrol were trying to comfort Valkyrie, Marshall and Everest had woken up earlier and decided to pitch in my trying to entertain Valkyrie's pup son by letting him play with same chew and squeaky toys Paw Patrol had back when they were pups. Marshall pickup the young pup and held him in the air and maneuvering him like the pup was a superheros flying in the air.

"Whooosh...Whooosh" Marshall made the sound effect all whilst the pup was laughing and having the best time of his life, apart of Marshall felt sorry for the pup since he was too young to understand what his Mother was going through. Everest started to take notice of the Dalmation's great skill with making pups laugh. Everest started to think of pups of her own with Marshall, which made her blush.

"Im sorry for everything that had to go through Valkyrie, would you like to stay with us until you feel better?" Chase offered without the permission from Ryder and the entire Paw Patrol. Ryder was about to protest the offer since there was no more room in the Lookout for another Dog and her pup son. Skye smiled, because she knew what Chase was doing. The German Shepherd was trying to warm up to the Saluki so he could have a shot at being her mate. In support for the idea, Skye liked the offer and said she was okay if Valkyrie wanted to stay. Tracker caught on as well and did the same. Rocky, Rubble, Zuma, Marshall and Everest were all in favour.

Ryder had to admit, he loved Dogs, and he didnt mind having to take care of two more. Ryder let her stay.

"Chase, Can you go downtown to buy an inflatable Mattress for Valkyrie, I think there was some Blanket here she can use too" Ryder asked the German Shepherd to run an errand down, Chase was more than Happy to help Valkyrie. He immediately ran to the Elevator to get what he was told. When Chase was gone Ryder went into a storage part of the Lookout where he was going to look for blankets covers.

"Tag, you're it" Everest claimed placing her paw on the pup's head and make a dash down the hall. Taurus was in an exciting pup that loved to play, so he was much too happy by the challenge that the Huskey put in front of him. Taurus ran after the female canine with Marshall following along. Rocky and the others except for Tracker, Skye and Valkyrie; Decided to go do their usual business around the Lookout.

Skye looked around and saw it was just the three of them left in the room, She then turned back to Valkyrie to coo. She was super exciting knowing Chase liked Valkyrie.

"You love Chase, dont you?" Skye jumped up and down, she could hardly contain herself, she was acting like a pup whilst in her fully grown body. Valkyrie didnt know it was thought obvious to sense, The Saluki now embarrassed, dug her head into the kitchen counter they were sitting at. Tracker lifted her head from up the top of the granite countertop to try and assure her there was nothing to be ashamed of.

"Its Alright Valkyrie, Skye and I will help you"

"Really?"

"Yup" Valkyrie was elated that she had the help from the two that knew more about Chase than her. Valkyrie skipped off to go find back her pup, Then it was just Tracker and Skye alone. Without a word, Skye leans in a gives a kiss on the potcake's cheek.

"I think they're gonna be a great couple, Trackie" Skye claimed.

"Trackie?"

"Like the Nickname?"

"No...I love it Skye Fly" Tracker responded whilst sharing back the same kiss, A through out the months and days, here they are. Finally with each other. A new chapter in their lives just opened and they knew they are going to be with each other in every step of the way.

"I love you"

LIFE SUMMARIES:

Tracker and Skye:

After Weeks after Valkyrie's arrival to the Lookout and knowledge of Her Divorce with the Great Dane. Tracker applied for U.S. Citizenship and decided to live at the Lookout as well since Tracker lives in Mexico. First Ryder protested, but after a few puppy faces, he said yes. Rocky and Rubble decided to convert on old part of the basement in a new bedroom for the Jungle Ranger, In meantime, He was going to be sleeping in Skye's room. Chase offered him an inflatable mattress to sleep on throughout the night, But Skye offered Tracker to let him sleep with Skye...in the same bed. When first declaring this idea, About the entire team knew what that meant, Marshall and Valkyrie were the only ones giving winks, which made the Cockapoo and Potcake blush immensely. Of course, after a few days of them sleeping together, their nights start to become more...active. two months after all the dating and nights together, Tracker finally proposed to Skye. She said yes and their Wedding was held in the open fields on the lookout. About a year after that, Skye was excited to hear that she was going to be a mother. Their first pup was a female with blonde and white spots all over her fur with her ears being just like that of Skyes. Their Second pup was a male they name Canare, He grew to be somewhat of a Marshall Junior, very clumsy and goofy. He was as furry as Skye but had the same colours as Tracker. Their last offspring was another male named Eli, still a baby with striking looks like white patches of fur with brown spots and fluffy ears.

Cody:

He was cleared of his suspicions of the Cartel after Lupe granted him a pardon, After which he wasn't sure what to do after that since he had spent a good chunk of his life trying to take down the Cartel. He had a fine talent in shooting, getting a job at Artmeis's Skeet Shooting range then applying to ask one of Lupe's personal bodyguards. He stay in that profession for a few years until migrating the United States and staying in the Rural State of Ohio, where he had met a female bernese mountain dog whom he really liked, her name was Stella. A few dates later, they got married and had a male pup they named Autumn. The pup's eyes were yellow and his back left paw had a small patch of green, which the doctors only could guess was a birth mark. Cody and his family lived a normal life a suburban house secluded that had a 15 acre backyard, perfect for shooting guns.

Scott Blackwood:

Not much was heard from Scott after saying his goodbyes to Tracker, Marshall, Chase and the rest after he left Mexico. After the birth of Tracker and Skye's second pup, They had received a postcard from someone named 'S.B' This is presumed to be Scott because of the initials. After Scott felt like his time was up in the FBI, he retired from his high-risk life and lives in a shack in Utah before realizing his talent is shooting and killing. He Joined the military and was deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan where he was hit with an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) in his right leg. He was lucky to survive and even still keep him leg as nothing was really major that would result in death or amputation. Few years of living off of money from working for the FBI, service in the middle east and retirement fund, he finally lived the rest of his days on peace.

Lupe and Artemis:

The Election was a basic landslide for Lupe after all the files and evidence of Rodriguez , his political campaign opponent was revealed that held a part in the Cartel's terror. Winning 97% Percentage of the vote over the country. He held to his promise and built new roads, schools, hospitals, better security and healthcare, Housing Complexes. Some considered him to be the Best President throughout Mexican history. On one Anniversary, Lupe gifted Artemis was with a large piece of land probably 50 acres. Artemis used this land to turn it into her own personal range where she was free to shoot whatever. Artemis gifted Lupe was a small white stick, at first Lupe was confused until realizing it was a pregnancy test and that Artemis was pregnant. Lupe bought a lot to prepare for his son/daughter, and when it did come, it was a female wolf, they had named her Crystal. She was very bright and talent, being good at a number of musical instruments and of course being the daughter to Artemis...Guns. Artemis had turned her entire plot of land into a Skeet shooting club for youth. The two living out their lives with each other.

Marshall and Everest:

Everest was extremely happy to see Marshall alive and well after coming back from Mexico to fight the Cartel, A few scratches and scares were left like the scratch from Nox's claws across one of Marshall's eyes. He didnt care, it just made him cooler in his own mind. Marshall felt the same manner of worry when Everest got into a big accident with behind knocked down and buried under several feet of snow from an avalanche. There was no word from Jake that Everest was going to be okay or even be the same as she once. Fortunately she was okay and she was fine. When she got back to say she was okay, Marshall proposed to her and she was overwhelmed, she said yes. Within a few weeks, Everest started to have stomach aches and mood swings. After a quick check-up to the local Doctor's officer, The Huskey was Pregnant. Marshall was ecstatic about this news, When his pup came, it was a male Pup. The two named him Sillow. He had fluffy fur like Everest with white spots all over. After a few days, They discovered that he was blind in one eye. This lead to him being teased by other pups in school and not having the best depth perception. But despite this, He makes it work and he is happy.

Chase and Valkyrie:

The Romance between the German Shepherd and the Saluki was very smooth, it first started out small like them going on walks with each other around town or eating together. It eventually evolved into going onto picnic lunches and dates late at night. Unfortunately Valkyrie felt the sting of why Skye broke up with him, Chase started to go on fewer dates and leave them to handle crime on the other side of town. Instead of losing interest in the German Shepherd, The Saluki had an idea. She was going to join the Police Force to be with Chase more. Valkyrie intended to make this a surprise for the Police Dog, but somehow word got out Chase found out, and he immediately protested the idea. He wasnt mad at the Saluki for hatching and going forward with the idea, he was worried that something might happen to her. Even though how many times she tried to convince him it okay and that she was much strong than she looked. The German Shepherd's mind was made up. Chase even went a step further and tried to convince the Police Chief not to hire her. Unfortunately for the German Shepherd, The Chief was in no power to turn away the job of a Police Officer just because Chase was scared he would lose her. If she passed from the Academy and endured all the Physical tests, she would pass...This is exactly what happened, Valkyrie passed from the academy and was by far one of the best female Officer the Department had. Chase decided to make Valkyrie his patrol partner, The Saluki was thrilled. A couple days went by, it was about one in the morning and Chase just got up to get a glass of water, When he opened the fridge, he turned around and saw Taurus standing there with his a small polar bear plushie and a scarred face. Chase saw this and asked what was wrong. The pup just had a nightmare and he was too afraid to go back to sleep. In response, Chase gave him a tall glass of chocolate milk and said he could sleep with him if he wanted. The pup nodded and they both went to sleep. A few minutes into sleeping, Chase felt Taurus's small paws wrap out the German Shepherd's in a tight hug. Valkyrie woke up and saw. She got up and hopped into the bed as well. Valkyrie on the left, Chase on the right, and Taurus in the middle. One month after their Relationship went on, Chase had finally composed his confidence to propose to the Saluki. It happened on a hill during a sunset, She said yes. The Wedding was the place as Tracker and Skye's Wedding. Although they have yet to conceive a child of their own, Taurus is already a handful for the two.
