EDIT:
Basically the UNSC releasing certain future media stuff from the 26th century to the GATE Earth. And the reaction to and description of some of the media piece.
This is a omake piece so don't get all dramatic over it.
EDIT1:
Okay, this is something I'm posting since I don't got the next chapter ready and wanted to post something to show the story's not dead.
{Thread: Mass Effect is Forever Always the Punching Bag even in the 26th Century}
Heseer: Hahahahahahaha! lolz, even in the 26th century, ME is still getting its ass kicked. But this time its official in the entertaiment world as its punching bag! Even a sci-fi fantasy series with magical flying wooden spaceship is kicking their arse.
4ork: I can taste the glorious tears coming from the ME fans already and the salt industry going overdrive. Hey is that a Conclave War Cruiser taking out a Reaper in few shots with its fusion torpedos?
*Clips of a damaged UNIC armoured cruiser facing against a Sovereign-class Reaper, managing to one-shot the Reaper with its nuclear fusion projector. Another showing several Citadel dreadnoughts trying to slow down a pair of Conclave War Cruisers only to be casually destroyed or crippled by its laser emitters or heavy plasma missiles. The final clip was Commander Shepard and Gideon-625 and their respective team putting what appeared to be a last stand against a epic fourth-way battle between the Cyla swarm, Conclave loyalists, and the Reapers.*
8031: That's so epic…
Nobody78: Screw this retarded, stupid BS.
RMEK: Bloody hilarious. The next few hundred years constantly shat on Mass Effect. They even canonised eezo tech is a trap and stagnant tech tree as a foundational identity of ME. Bad thing is that the HFY fanfic crowd is going to explode in large numbers.
55luzz8: Well, the ME vs Icon debate is going to explode… I'll be waiting in my bunker.
Jusolo: This is super retarded. I'm done with this.
Dib0ner: Hey, is that a Gundam tearing through the Turian fleet at Shanxi?
The Star Wars fanbase exploded when the most popular recent literation of Star Wars was released to the public. A packaged deal when the crew of the SOF selected certain 26th century media to be shown to the alternate 21st century Earth, many of them recoginzable in a basic sense but different in many ways, along with new ones. The results of public domain resulting in interesting fusions stories and interpretations of beloved franchises.
Star Wars was no exception. Especially the recent work popular among the UEG populace.
Star Wars: The Force Dame. A widely popular series that can be described as Star Wars but as a magical mecha girl. Rey as the main heroine with her companions Finn and Poe at her side, along with her mentor Leia Skywalker guiding Rey in the ways of the Force to become a great warrior of the Force. This iteration of Star Wars where the Jedi and Sith fight one another by surrounding themselves in force energies that transforms them into suits of mecha-like armor blessed with the great powers and the mythical lightsaber. All the while defending the free worlds against the ever expanding Sith Order.
The clip of Kylo Ren and Rey flying around and dueling in their respective Force Frame armor while a space battle was raging between the Sith Star Destroyers and Republic Star Defenders. An unstoppable force clashing against a unbreakable object as both force users furiously with everything they had and techniques they knew. Lightsabers slashing against one another, force lighting strikes, force illusions, and other sorts of esoteric force powers. Anybody attempting to intervene to the fight were torn apart as if they were trying to enter a raging tornado.
The reaction from the Star Wars fanbase was quite the sight to see. Lots of praises, amazements, confusion, and rage to the unsurprise of many as screams of one's childhood is ruined forever and all sorts were posted on youtube. Off course that wasn't getting onto other various Star Wars media like countless remakes, reboots, adaptations, reimagining, and fusions with other works.
