Hello again.
The main thing that results in Summer's theory is this one YouTube video that focused on the Pinkie Sense, talking about how it could be classed as a form of ESP that she and her family developed while living on the rock farm, with Pinkie's acting as it does on account of her hyperactive nature. I think it was Cutie Mark Labs or something for the channel, HOWEVER, this isn't set in stone. So for those that think otherwise, do bare in mind that this is just a theory based on parts from the show.

"How'd it go, Summer?" Dash asked upon noticing said pony returning from a job.
"Apparently not everyone had learned about this one breathing fire, despite how long it's been since the initial display in Canterlot." Summer replied.
He had just returned to Ponyville from a job at a restaurant in Baltimare, helping out as a waiter. One of the other workers had been skeptical about Summer's magic, at least until they saw him boost the furnace.
Needless to say, it surprised the rest of them, even those that believed.
Dash gave a laugh. "I can only imagine their faces if it was you eating fire instead. Also, Derpy and Rarity signed out that courier job over to Los Pegasus."
Summer nodded, keeping it in mind to note down once he got back to Fairy Hall.
Dash then noticed his face working into a different expression, despite the lack of emotion. She lightly grinned. "I and the others are doing well, thanks."
Summer had a lightly embarrassed and somewhat awkward smile on his face from that, growing a tad as Dash kissed him.
"You certainly become a lot better since you first showed up, Summer." Dash told him after she broke the kiss. "Still got a ways to go, though."
Dash rubbed against him teasingly, only to be surprised by Summer returning fire with a light nip of her ear when it was right by his mouth.
Dash, after a moment, laughed appreciatively as they moved into town, at least until they saw Pinkie looking around a bit shifty with an umbrella hat on, with Twilight peeking around a corner.
Summer tilted his head as Dash looked on with a smirk. "Looks like somepony's about to learn about the Pinkie Sense."
Pinkie Sense? Summer thought, only to see Pinkie's tail twitch all of a sudden. Noticing something at the peripheral, he looked up, only to blur out and reappear onto of a nearby building, holding a frog.
Outside of Pinkie, the mares and a nearby Spike looked at him in confused surprise. Pinkie, in the meantime, smiled. "Thanks, Yummy. Now my tail's no longer twitching."
"Thank you for catching him, Summer." As it turned out, Fluttershy was up above, pulling a cart load of frogs. "I was just taking them over to Froggy Bottom Bog."
"No problem, Fluttershy." He jumped up and gently handed the frog back, sending up some light dust upon landing.
Turning to the others, he found Twilight looking skeptical at Pinkie as said pony was apparently explaining about her 'Pinkie Sense.' He did, however, get the gist of it.
"This one apologizes, Twilight, but this one might have an idea on how Pinkie's sensory ability works." Summer spoke up, getting their attention.
"Not to doubt you, but I just don't see how it isn't anything but coincidental." Twilight responded, only to stop for a moment at Summer's answer.
"Did it ever occur to anyone that her Earth Pony status might have been effected by her hyperactivity, resulting in her body taking on what would normally be in her mind?"
Twilight looked at Pinkie in thought, just as Pinkie tail started twitching again.
Dash instantly noticed it and ducked under a balcony, looking up at the sky in concern.
"Come on, Spike. Let's-ah!" Twilight said, only to be cut off by a sudden drop in her path when she tried to head towards Golden Oak.
Summer couldn't help but blink. Where did the ditch come from?
He quickly diverted his attention back to Fairy Hall, where he found Cherilee and her class waiting, Applebloom and her two friends helping to keep certain members in check.

The next day found Summer finding Twilight 'observing' Pinkie.
Said mare didn't react when she noticed him. "Hello, Summer. Just thought I'd get a few of the finer details about the Pinkie Sense."
"By spying on somepony who most likely knows you're there when you could easily just ask and write it down." Summer told her, catching a glance from Pinkie and a quick wink that Twilight missed.
"That would require it being patterns instead of automatic instinct." Twilight responded, only to miss Summer stopping his hoof when it moved towards his face, only to hear a faint giggle from Pinkie which helped him figure out Pinkie's part in all this.
She's playing with Twilight.
His mouth twitched as he walked off, letting it go for the time being. Though a part of it might have had something to do with Mayor Mare waving him over.
"Yes, Mayor?" He asked.
"Word got around about your theory in regards to the Pinkie Sense." she gestured to town hall. "Think you'd mind going into detail?"
"As you wish, Mayor."
Following dutifully, he was silent the pair were seated in Mayor's office. There, he proceeded to explain. "Well, this one has come across books that indicated all ponies having a form of magic, Earth ponies being more attuned to the earth in comparison. But what determined it for this one was the diversity of magic, with the Book of the Fairies telling of multiple different magic styles with similar capability. Combined with how she tends to act, it stood to reason that she has a unique instinct built around her hyperactive nature."
Mayor Mare raised an eyebrow in contemplation. "Huh. Never thought of it like that, but then again, most of the time when a pony thinks of magic, they don't typically think of the Earth Pony. However, from what I've heard, it's not just her of her family that has this sort of ability. It's just her who has this version."
Summer tilted his head slightly at that, but was certainly interested. A family with this kind of ability?
Just then, the pair heard a faint noise from outside. Their attention was momentarily diverted to a clearly battered Twilight still 'observing' Pinkie.
Mayor turned to Summer. "Wasn't she there when you brought up your theory?"
"She decided to analyze it as shown, not quite understanding she could simply ask." Summer explained, still looking at the scene. "In response, Pinkie's playing with her some."
Mayor sighed exasperatedly. "Pretty well every time somepony new comes to Ponyville, they always have a form of trouble with the Pinkie Sense."
Summer looked at her this time, eliciting an explanation. "Twilight's not the first that has this kind of trouble with Pinkie, though she has had the most intense reaction to it. Everypony that's lived in Ponyville long, however, knows that when Pinkie's body acts up like this, we need to take it seriousl-Y!" Mayor winced as a pretty solid thud hit their ears. "That's gonna hurt. I think you might need to intervene sooner or later, Summer."
"Yes, Mayor."
The conversation turned more congenial after that.
Some time after Summer left Mayor's office, however, a faint cry followed by a tornado going up into the sky came from a spot a ways away from Ponyville.
"Fluttershy." Summer intoned before running towards the source, only to find out that he was not needed.
Said mare smiled sweetly upon noticing him. "I'm okay, Summer. Just a little something that threatened the frogs."
Summer minutely sweatdropped as he glanced towards the downed creature that had apparently been her target. Little something?
Fluttershy got his attention again, whispering in his ear as Twilight, Spike, and Pinkie showed up. "Fluttershy! Summer!"
"Fluttershy had already dealt with the problem when this one arrived." Summer told them.
"And I daresay that Fluttershy would prefer a special private party for this." Pinkie then raised a hoof to her chin. "Though that could just be wishful thinking towards the writer."
Summer absentmindedly face-hoofed in silence before Twilight got his attention. "Summer, you mind doing me a favor, even it isn't something you might like?"
"What do you need?"
"If I do anything stupid again, like research the Pinkie Sense by myself instead of simply asking about the patterns like you suggested, hit me. Please."
Summer was quite honestly surprised when she punctuated her request with a whine, though Pinkie cleared it up right afterwards. "She just did like the fact she ended up on a wild goose chase without me making it one."
"She can join the 'party,' then." got even Pinkie to start some, particular from the tone of voice and confidence used when Fluttershy said that.
The moment was ruined, however, when Pinkie's body started acting up again, though this time it was pretty easy to figure out what was wrong. "It's getting back up!"
The creature turned out to be a five-headed hydra which surprised them when the middle one breathed fire.
"And it can breath fire." Spike verbally noted, not really concerned until Fluttershy said "It didn't look like that when it first showed up."
While Summer didn't know what she meant exactly by that, but he did recall a few pictures of hydras he had come across, and none of them looked like this one. Let alone have the ability to breath fire. (1)
The fire-breathing head let loose a blast, only for it to be consumed by Spike before it could hit them.
"Kanso!" Twilight quickly summoned a staff and slammed into a head, acting as the cue for each of them to focus on a head.
Spike took the fire-breather with a shout of "Karyū no Hōkō!" and a stream of fire much stronger than the hydra's own, with Fluttershy doing similar with "Tenryū no Hōkō!" and a blast of air.
Pinkie and Summer, on the other hand, combined their attacks, her creating debris with "Kurasshu!" followed by him launching them at their targets with twin kicks of "Karyū no Kagizume!" that set them on fire.
Unfortunately, all any of it really did was make the hydra angry.
"Spike! Fluttershy! Here! Twilight! Pinkie! Get behind us!" Summer called out to the others. When in position, he told them his quick plan. "Combined Roars. Get it out of here."
The two nodded and prepared, though none of them truly noticed until after they launched their attacks that Twilight and Pinkie added something extra.
"Karyū no Hōkō!/Tenryū no Hōkō!" "CRASH CANNON!" (2)
The resulting blast managed to miss most of the Bog, but easily sent the hydra to the horizon.
Summer's jaw went slack as he looked towards the two. "What...the...BUCK?! Was that a Unison Raid?!"
"Certainly felt like it when my Unicorn Magic somehow combined with Pinkie's Crash Magic." Twilight responded. "Though I'm not sure where the 'Crash Cannon' came from."
Pinkie just smiled innocently.

"SILENCE!"
Celestia finally had enough of the clamor from the blast the came from near Ponyville that shot up into the sky. It was only when she saw no one denying the order, she spoke. "Look, I know it was quite shocking, but bare in mind where it came from, and just who is living there. My student can easily let me know what happened, so-speaking of which..."
A letter just appeared in front of her, which she promptly opened and read. She couldn't help but whistle. "Three combined Roars and a Unison Raid? That would definitely do it."
"Unison Raid, Princess?" one of the guards curiously asked.
"Two compatible magics, like Water and Ice, seamlessly merge together into one greater and stronger spell. Twilight used Unicorn Magic while Pinkie used Crash Magic." Celestia explained. "It's a lot harder than it seems, though. Ponies have wasted entire lives in attempting to harness this technique, only to fail."
"Indeed, sister." Luna added, remembering their own partial success at it. "It isn't something to take lightly."

Twilight's magic and prowess focused Pinkie's into a concussive blast with limited explosive/heat damage.
